A/N- So after rewatching Avengers through to End game and falling in love with Wanda and Visions relationship, I was understandably upset at the fact that we didn't get Vision back in end game and we still have a wait until Wandavision is released, so I have delved myself into the world of Wanda and Vision fanfiction, which has either saved my mental health or made it a lot more worse than it already was *shrugs*
but anywhooo I then decided to try and lower my dose of the fanfiction as if I was hooked *slaps face*
and then I came across the movie Legion which stars Paul Bettany and it had me thinking that it would be the PERFECT crossover for the Two Worlds!
now I am new to making stories and who knows maybe this will end up terrible, I am also a full time mother to a terrible toddler so it's going to be hard finding the time to do this, but I really REALLY want this type of story and nobody else seems to have done it so *shrugs nervously* here goes nothing...
"Are you sure that there is no other way?"
asked a rather sceptical Michael as he looked down at the World below him, his wings billowing slightly at the breeze.
"They have had many chances Michael, you will do well to remember the mission... I doubt that he will allow failure from you again" the blatant retort from his fellow brother Gabriel left Michael's skin crawling as he thought about the consequences that he would eventually face if he kept up this attitude about the impending battle that they will be facing.
He understood his mission, he knew that it was his and his alone that would give the final blow to humanity and yet he hoped in his heart that maybe, just maybe there will be another way..
"Sister are you ok? do you want me to get you something? a pillow? a book to read? some food? water? tea?"
A rather worried Pietro was looking at his younger twin sister Wanda who had a rather protruding abdomen as she waddled along the battle worn streets of Sokovia.
They had been wandering through the desolate areas trying to find somewhere suitable to stay for the night.
"Well howdy there you two, where are you going?" an elderly man whom they had met earlier that week named Steve Rogers came around the corner holding the hand of his wife Margaret, they had come to Sokovia to help rebuild the fallen city after the attack that happened a decade ago.
"We are trying to find a suitable area to stay for the night, with my sisters current condition, I fear that a night under some rubble will do her nor the child any good" Pietro replied rather steadfast, he hated the fact that they lived in a country where it was difficult to find a bus shelter to stay, let alone an actual building, and with Wanda's ever worsening condition, he was beginning to worry.
"Brother I am fine, please stop making such a big deal out of.. this.." she gestured a hand over her stomach rather quickly, she never expected that she would have fallen into this state and if it had been her choice then it would have never happened, but sadly in war torn countries like hers, sometimes... "I didn't choose this..." she began thinking to herself as she relived the moment in her minds eye.
"Hey you, what are you doing red?" A soldier approached Wanda who was searching through some rubble of where their old apartment had once stood.
She looked at him as a faint smile appeared on her lips "maybe he will help me find that ring I dropped if I ask?" she thought to herself as she stood to face the unmarked soldier "I lost a ring somewhere around here yesterday but I -" she was cut off as a rock fell above her, rendering her unconscious.
She awoke down an alley not that far away from where she had been speaking to the soldier and found her clothes ripped, her underwear laying next to her and a slight stain of blood between her legs "oh.. I didnt see that coming" she thought to herself before standing up and dusting herself off, she wiped the single tear that had trickled down her face and ensured that she looked presentable before going back to the hut that they were currently staying in, she would never tell Pietro what happened for fear that her brother would kill any and every soldier that he saw.
She pulled herself out of her thoughts as she noticed everyone staring rather intently at her, Margaret reached a hand out to the young girl, as though knowing where her mind had been "You are most certainly a strong young lady, I doubt that you need our help but please know that if you would like then you are more than welcome to accompany us back to America" the elderly lady beamed a smile at Wanda, who surprisingly found herself smiling back.
"We do not have passports or any forms of identification, I doubt that we will be able to join you.." a soft and saddened reply came from Pietro as he looked at the elderly couple.
"That's fine, we have some pull with the government so I wouldn't worry about that" Steve tapped the lad on the back and gave him a reassuring smile.
"Come, I'm sure you will atleast be able to find a suitable place to sleep" Margaret took the hands of the twins and led them to the quinjet.
"So what was your job at the government?" asked a rather curious Pietro as he looked at the rather dazzling jet that seemed to appear before his eyes.
"We helped win wars against aliens" answered Steve rather matter-of-factly.
"Definitely senile then..." thought Pietro which left Wanda with a slight giggle, she had always been able to hear her brothers thoughts since they were children.
"Righty-o then let's head home!" Margaret who was more affectionately known as 'Peggy' went on to co-pilot the jet with her husband and left Wanda and Pietro to sit in the passenger seats.
"Goodbye Sokovia.." Wanda thought to herself as she watched the city shrink down into a dot under the quinjet as they made their way to America.
