Charles had no idea what to do. What was he going to tell the general? Is it contagious? Could it kill him? The only thing Charles knew was the cure, which was to find the love that was needed. But who? He wasn't interested in anybody, and he never felt different around or about anyone else. Except... Henry! Henry Stickmin! But he was a toppat, and not just a toppat, the toppat leader. And we wasn't even on earth! He was in the orbital station in space! How would he get to him? And what would Henry think about it? Henry probably hated him so much, like he was supposed to. But Henry was very different from most other people, out of the ordinary for sure. He barely even spoke, and he seemed to have strong regrets at almost everything he did, and he always looked tired, like he never slept. Oh well, there was just something about him that hit Charles differently. Maybe Henry would get rid of Charles' case of Hanahaki? Or just make it worse?

Some time had passed, and Charles was flying his helicopter. He was going to try and take some photos and recordings of the old toppat base, trying to see if they could get any extra information of where in space they are, or any weakness they might have. Flying with the Hanahaki might be a bad idea, but this needs to get done. Charles thought. He hadn't told anyone that he had the Hanahaki yet, and he was doing a good job at containing it. The blood and flowers he forced to keep down in his throat made it sting even more. Charles would stop every few moments to snap a photo on the old base, he tried to do it as quickly as possible, as he had to focus on flying the helicopter. He was about to return to the base, when he started to cough again. No! Not now! The blood and flowers quickly spread over his control panel, and Charles couldn't see any of the labels on the buttons. He had to rely on memory now. Charles managed to contain the coughing for a few more moments, when he coughed again. The blood and flowers were everywhere. He couldn't see his control panel, and he didn't know if he was losing altitude or not. He looked up at the window. There were some blood and flowers on that too. Dang it! Now I've pretty much lost my control over my helicopter! An alarm on Charles' helicopter started to go off. Charles didn't know what to do, and braced himself for the crash.
