Terrance sat across a four sided table from Ricky White. He saw Ghost was seated at Ricky's left and Reptiless at Ricky's right.

"What's going on?", Terrance wondered.

"Just another psych evaluation," Ricky yawned. "I want you to go over your name, your nickname, your powers, where you grew up, and where you see your future."

"Did they have to do this also?", Terrance wondered and Ricky shook his hand, keeping that smug grin on his face. That's why they called Ricky White, Vibrant. He always finds a way to smile at every situation.

"I am Terrance Westbrook," Terrance went over again. "You nicknamed me Plates even though my old superhero name was Darksteel. I create black steel shillings that I can use as a weapon or a means to protect myself from damage. I grew up in Atlanta, but I was born in Savanna. I don't know how to answer the final question, I like to live in the present rather then the future."

"That will do for a final answer," Ricky decided as he jotted down everything Terrance said. "Do you have family?"

"I had two parents and an older brother," Terrance responded. "My parents died and my brother abandoned me." He expected a response from the other three mutants, but didn't get so much as a 'sorry for your loss.'

"Do you resent your elder brother?", Ricky wondered.

"Yes."

"Did you love your parents?"

"Yes?"

"When did you first realize you were a mutant?", Ricky continued to question.

"At age twelve," Terrance explained. "My brother was one as well. We kept our powers a secret from mom, dad, and everyone else."

"Have you ever been in a fight?"

"Yes," Terrance answered.

"What was it like?", Ricky pressed.

"Some kid was picking on a friend of mine," Terrance murmured. "I defended my friend. It was satisfying to protect my friend."

"Have you ever killed anyone?", Ricky asked.

"No?!"

"Did you ever feel like killing anyone?"

"What's the point in asking this?", Terrance yelled.

"I told you it's an evaluation of your psychology," Ricky shrugged. "Answer my question, have you ever wanted to kill anyone?"

"No," Terrance growled.

"Would you do it if you had to?"

"No," Terrance roared. "No one has to kill, I don't have to kill and I sure as hell won't."

"No further questions," Ricky decided. "Thank you for your time."

"Why are they here if it was just a conversation between us?", Terrance shouted.

"They are here as judges," Ricky explained. "We will vote on whether or not you are a liability or an asset. If we find you unfit to work with us, then we will send you home."

Terrance's eyes widened. Was Ricky doing this because he knew Fury was up to something?

"I vote to keep you," Vibrant decided. "You're angry, but I've seen worse."

"I vote he leaves," Reptiless grumbled. "He's a liability to the team and is incapable of cooperating with our leader." They turned to Ghost who was twiddling her thumbs.

"I need time to think," Ghost spoke up. "I'll give you my vote tonight." Vibrant stared at her and then laughed.

"To be continued then," Vibrant decided.
