It had been five hours since Terrance was tested. He laid back on his bed hoping Ghost would come around. Because if she didn't, that would mean he's kicked off the team. Reptiless was going to be a problem on top of it all. She didn't see Terrance as part of the team, and that might be slightly his fault. After all, he's given them no reason to trust him and on top of it all he's not good at following orders. He keeps arguing with Vibrant, whom Reptiless clearly idolizes.

"Terrance," Vibrant's voice rang on the intercom. "We require you back in the meeting room."

Terrance sighed as he stood up and headed to his door. Well this was it. If Ghost sides with him he's in, if she sides against him he's out. Terrance stepped into the meeting room and Vibrant signaled for him to take a seat.

"Welcome Plates," Vibrant spoke up. "Ghost is now ready to cast her vote. She needed much counseling in order to reach this conclusion.

"Oh," Terrance responded. "And what did you two tell her?"

"She asked me why I wanted you to stay," Vibrant explained. "I suggested that your abilities are very useful combat wise. You have a good heart, but a hot head. I've worked with people like you in the past and I know how to deal with your... strong personality."

"Jackass," Terrance thought. "What did Reptiless say?"

"That your an imbalanced egomaniac that will get us all killed the moment we step into a real battle," Reptiless growled. "I get why you sound useful. Your abilities are just as good for defense as they are for offense. However, you don't want to be a tank, you want to be a cannon. You don't want to listen to Vibrant, you want to run around and play hero. Well this team isn't here for your amusement."

"So what's it for then?", Terrance yelled back. "Is it for Vibrant's amusement? Why does Fury trust some smiling twit!"

"You take that back or I'll..."

"You'll what," Terrance laughed. "I ain't scared of you."

"Stop it you two," Ghost yelled. "I've reached my decision." The two of them turned their heads to her. "I wanted to keep you on the team but... but you keep fighting with Reptiless and insulting our leader. He made a sacrifice for each of us you know. He has a real sister, and real brothers he could be running around with. Instead he decided to stick around and take care of us. He could be in a mansion living it up with the Mutants, instead he's here at Shield trying to make a mutant task force work in order to better the relationship between humans and mutants. He pulled your body out of the fire!"

"Wait what?" Terrance responded shocked.

"Did you never ask who pulled you out of the rubble when a freaking building dropped on you?", Ghost yelled as tears fell from her eyes.

"I thought it was shield who saved me," Terrance spoke up.

"It was Vibrant who saved you," Ghost explained. "Not shield, not Section X. Ricky White."

"I wanted us to keep this to ourselves," Ricky sighed. "I don't need you helping me because you owe me. I need you to help because it's the right thing to do."

"And I want to help," Terrance spoke up. "But I want to do things my way though."

"Then our team will be in constant danger," Reptiless growled. "We can't have a rogue unit on our team."

"I still believe he can be taught to work better with us," Vibrant explained. "But of course, the decision falls on Ghost. Have you decided to keep him or toss him from the group."

"Give me a reason why you should stay," Ghost instructed.

Terrance thought for a moment and then sighed. "Because You don't have many options. I may not agree with you, but I don't see a line up of mutants at your door. From what I understand they are either in hiding or already part of a team."

"The three of us are fine by ourselves," Reptiless yelled.

"But we aren't," Ghost admitted. "We're just kids being babysat by Ricky. But he's someone who can make his own decisions."

"I can make my own decisions," Reptiless argued. "I just understand that the chain of command and the mission is more important then my own petty feelings."

"I... I can put my petty feelings aside," Terrance grumbled. "I want to help people. The way Ricky helped me."

The three of them stared at him and then nodded.

"Then I will except you onto the team," Ghost decided.

"Then by majority Terrance stays," Vibrant added.

"I won't argue," Reptiless sighed. "But I'm not happy to have him here."
