Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix
Chapter 11: The Final Battle
Flocks of giant robot drones arrived near the compound and activated into their robot forms as their legs stretched out and popped their arms and heads out.
"Where you gave life, I have brought destruction.", Malware boasted.
"Sowing chaos doesn't take any special talent, Malware. If that's the best you can do, I'm not impressed.", Azmuth retorted.
"No. Nothing I do could ever impress you, could it, Father? In your eyes, I am nothing but your failed experiment. Your shame...!", Malware glared.
"My only shame is that I have been unable to heal your pain. But it's not too late. Give up this vendetta of yours and we'll work together to make you whole.", Azmuth assured as small green drones gathered around Malware before abruptly zapping Malware, who then retaliated by destroying them.
"LIES! Even now, you conspire against me! It IS too late!", Malware discouraged.
"This ends now!", Vilgax added before Malware then merged with Vilgax, causing his body to grow spikes on his arms and legs, which became black with red, ominous stripes while especially growing more fearsome.
"Okay. This is bad.", Gwen commented.
"Yeah. He and Malware fused together like we did.", Emily agreed.
"Wait. You two fused?", Ben puzzled.
"It's kind of a long story, Ben.", Julie responded.
"Now, give me the Omnitrix!", Malgax urged while fashioning a sword before cutting off the leash restraining Sixsix, who then flew toward Ben, Gwen, Emily, Julie, Kevin, Tetrax, Gorvan, and Myaxx while firing lasers before diamond-like crystals formed in front of them as a barrier to safeguard against the enemy attack as the drones fired as well.
"Use it now and we kiss this universe bye-bye.", Tetrax warned.
Then, Ben instead went for the cannon he was holding and placed his right arm inside it, powering it up as the bottom of the cannon shrunk to fit him and three small cylinders went up and glowed blue as it powered on before the ground shook.
"Two enemies in two fronts. Three, counting those drones.", Azmuth spoke.
"I don't get it. Why are you still fighting for that watch? It could blow at any minute.", Kevin puzzled.
"Because it won't be over unless Azmuth shuts it down.", Emily responded.
"Do you think you can take down those drones out there, though, Kevin?", Ben asked.
"Heh. Leave that to me.", Kevin smirked before mutating into his mutant state.
"In the meantime, Azmuth, you'd better get to safety.", Emily warned before the Galvan nodded and hopped away.
Then, Ben jumped into the fray before firing his lasers at the drones before two ships flew in just as he took down more drones before he noticed one of the ships flying in toward Julie as Emily gasped.
"Julie! Hang on!", Ben shouted as he ran toward Julie before lunging toward her to save her just before the lasers could hit her as they instead hit the ground.
"Ben... You saved me.", Julie spoke in surprise.
"Of course I did.", Ben responded before he and Julie hugged, not knowing that Azmuth was watching from on top of the crystals.
"Could he actually be...?", Azmuth puzzled.
Then, both Ben and Julie stopped hugging and looked up to see the two ships from above afterwards only for the ships to be surrounded in blue shields before they exploded due to the lasers then hitting them and crashed toward the drones before they looked to see Gwen, Gluto, and Emily.
"You guys okay?", Emily asked before she, Gwen, and Gluto caught up to Ben and Julie as Gorvan, Tetrax, and Myaxx caught up as well.
"Yeah. But Malgax is one tough customer.", Ben responded.
"Malgax?", Gwen puzzled.
"Yeah. Malware, Vilgax, all rolled into one.", Ben explained.
"Excellent suggestion.", Malware complimented before Malgax fashioned a disruptor cannon from his arm and then aimed and fired at the crystals, which still held on before the group noticed Sixsix flying in toward and firing at Tetrax, who got pushed back by the bounty hunter.
"No!", Gorvan exclaimed in slight worry before he and the others turned back to face Malgax as the drones marched forward, aiming their weapons.
"Everyone ready?", Emily asked before Ben, Gwen, Kevin, and Julie nodded with them, Myaxx, Gorvan, and Julie charging in to fight the drones.
While Ben fired at the drones, Gorvan and Myaxx leapt up from behind him and then kicked at two of the drones (one of each), pinning them to the ground just as more drones were blasted, this time, by Julie and Emily before Gwen placed her hands together and created a blue shield around her hands. After that, Gwen then focused on one of the drones, surrounded it with a similar shield, and then tossed it towards a ship from the air. Then, just as Gwen found herself cornered, Gluto then wrapped his tentacles around the drones and spun them around, before taking the same drone with two tentacles, breaking it apart.
Meanwhile, Sixsix was firing at Tetrax, who was knocked back before he grew two spikes from his back, got them out, and tossed them toward Sixsix, who dodged them before the crystals hit the ships in the air just as Sixsix then grabbed Tetrax and eventually tossing him aside.
Back to Ben, he was still firing when the drone fired a laser at the cannon, dislodging it from him before Kevin, in his mutant form, rammed the drone to the ground just as Julie caught up before Kevin morphed back to normal. After that, the ships then landed on the ground, revealed to be more like aerial drones as they focused on Ben just as Malgax landed as well and stepped forward.
"I warned you to hand over the Omnitrix. Now, I'm going to beat you senseless and take it from you!", Malgax threatened.
Then, Ben remembered the containment device at the back of the Omnitrix.
"Ben? What are you doing?", Julie puzzled.
"I ask myself that question all the time.", Ben responded just as the Omnitrix was beeping and flashing on the dial, stating that the self-destruct is fast approaching before removing the containment device from the back, quickly causing it to spark out orange sparks from the dial.
"Are you crazy, Tennyson?!", Kevin exclaimed.
"You want it so bad? Here!", Ben shouted before he yelled out while lunging toward Malgax and then plunging it into him, causing the stripes to change from red to green.
"Yes... yes! The power of the Omnitrix flows through me! It IS me!", Malware spoke before he began to distort painfully.
"No...! It's overloading me...! STOOOOOOP!", Malware shouted.
"Hit the deck, Julie!", Kevin shouted as he took her hand and then took her toward the crystals to duck and hide just as Ben yelled out again before lightning struck Malgax, causing the yellow energy ripple to erupt, causing Malgax to turn into little pieces and come apart just as the energy ripple also knocked back Sixsix.
When the ripple went away, the drones were giving off red sparks, indicating a malfunction before they shut down as Julie and Kevin looked up to see Ben still in one piece.
"Now, that was intense.", Kevin commented just as Azmuth noticed Ben as well.
"Indeed.", Azmuth spoke before hurriedly going over to him just as the last bit of green disappeared with the dial now beeping complete orange as the self-destruct was now about to commence before Azmuth caught up.
"Well, now that that mess is taken care of, there is only one more thing to take care of.", Azmuth spoke before turning the dial and then unplugging the dial from the Omnitrix, turning it off and then hopping away.
"We did it. The Omnitrix can't self-destruct now.", Julie grinned as Emily sighed in relief before noticing the Omni-Enhancer shut down as well.
"But your Omni-Enhancer. You can't use it anymore now.", Julie spoke in slight concern.
"I know. But it's a small price to pay to make sure the universe is safe.", Emily assured.
Then, the giant robot drones suddenly returned with Malgax on top of one of them as he apparently reformed and recovered.
"It's over, Malgax! The watch is deactivated! It's useless now!", Ben shouted.
"Same thing for my watch, too!", Emily added, making Malgax widen one of his eyes.
"But the Creator of the Omnitrix is not! You will build me an even more powerful device!", Malgax demanded.
"No, thank you.", Azmuth refused before Malgax then ordered his robot drone to fire at them before the group evaded the missiles, although Gluto was still knocked back by the impact before recovering just as Azmuth then looked back to notice the dial on the ground.
"Well, I have been working on something else in my spare time.", Azmuth smirked before then heading over to it as meanwhile, the drone seemingly smashed Tetrax to the ground and raised its arm only to open its hand and notice a hole where it shouldn't be before spikes emerged from the arm and dismantled it internally before it fell and hit the ground just as Ben and Emily were then ushered to safety by Gwen's spells before they were brought to where Gwen, Julie, and Kevin are.
"What would you do without us?", Julie grinned.
"Sure am glad I don't have to find out.", Ben spoke with a whisper.
"What's that?", Gwen puzzled.
"I said Malgax is smearing us and I can't do anything about it. I'm just a plain kid without the Omnitrix.", Ben answered with a slight fib.
"Don't you get it? You don't need that thing. What about all the times you and Emily saved Grandpa, or Dave, or Julie, or me, or lots of other people when you weren't an alien? You are a hero, even if you can't go hero.", Gwen assured, making Ben smile.
"You see how that happens?", Emily grinned.
"I beg to differ.", Malware argued before Malgax then fired his disruptor cannon at Ben.
"No!", Emily shouted before she lunges forward and suddenly turned black with stars on her before causing a sudden ripple that separated Malware and Vilgax from each other as it passed through them.
Then, Emily morphed back to normal just as suddenly.
"Wha...? What was that?", Emily puzzled.
"It appears you have some kind of alien origin to you, Emily. Once this is all over, we'll need to explore that.", Azmuth responded before he then leapt up to Ben and started to plug the Omnitrix back in.
"What gives? I thought you pulled the plug on this thing and couldn't turn it back on.", Ben puzzled.
"Now, whoever told you that? Not I.", Azmuth responded as he titled the dial a little before it then showed the Omnitrix's inner workings again as it zoomed away before the dial lit up in a green light before the Omni-Enhancer powered up back on.
"My Omni-Enhancer...! It's working again!", Emily spoke in joyful surprise.
"All right! We're back in the alien hero business!", Ben grinned.
"Well, not quite yet. First, I need both of you to take these keys and insert them into your watches posthaste and do make sure they are inserted into the dials properly.", Azmuth requested as he handed one key to Ben and another to Emily.
"Got it.", Emily agreed before she then inserted the key into her dial bottom-first as did Ben.
When they did, their watches glowed in green for Ben and blue for Emily before they morphed into a structure with which the Omnitrix is almost completely grey, with black ends and the arrows on the dial being absent while the Omni-Enhancer is almost completely blue with dark blue ends and the arrows on the dial being just as absent with both hourglass colorings now remaining 2-tone grey (blue for Emily's case), and white support tubes surrounding the dials.
"Whoa. That's a new one. What else?", Emily puzzled.
"Good. Now, try lifting the dial up.", Azmuth suggested before Ben and Emily did so and noticed that instead of the usual alien selection, it showed a square hologram panel.
"Okay. Now what?", Ben puzzled.
"Now place your fingers onto the panel at the left side, move them to the right diagonally, and then move it down but at a slight angle.", Azmuth added before Emily did so quickly while Ben saw what she was doing and did that before the panel went away and showed a silhouette of an alien with frills on the arms and head.
"Whoa. What is that?", Emily puzzled.
"Just the alien you all need. In fact, try this one on for size.", Azmuth responded.
Then, Ben and Emily nodded before they pressed the dials down and started growing as their feet turned into red boots, their hands turned white with red gloves and each of their fingers changed from 5 to 4 on each hand. Much to Gwen, Julie, Tetrax, and Kevin's surprise as well as Malware, Vilgax, and Sixsix's shock, they grew to an impressive height, towering even against the giant robot drones before the two then flicked their arms, causing the frills on their arms to open up before raising their arms up together and moving them away before the sparks lit up in their heads, creating frills at the top of their heads with Ben now a white colossal humanoid creature with a large fin on his head, which is black at the front and red at the bottom with his arms being white with red fins coming out of them with his neck and wrists black as his eyes are now green. He also has red arms with white fins. He also had red boot-like feet while Emily regained some of her human traits from her human form, making her resemble more of a hybrid before lightning struck behind them amidst the pouring rain.
"What?! No! Impossible!", Malware exclaimed.
"Those are big aliens.", Gwen commented.
"Whoa! Check us out! We didn't just get big. We got way big!", Emily shouted in astonishment.
"Sweeeeet!", Ben responded excitedly.
However, Malware did not take this lightly.
"NOOOOOOOO!", Malware roared in thundering defiance before he started surging red energy and growing to their size as he became gigantic to the point that he resembled an enormous dinosaur with his back spikes larger and more scythe-like and three star-shaped marks present along his massive torso.
"Uh-oh. Looks like he learned how to get big, too.", Emily spoke in worry.
"Wish us luck.", Way Big spoke to Gwen and the others before then smashing the drones by crushing them with his foot and picking them up, molding them into a ball, and then tossing it toward another drone before noticing three ships headed right for him as they fired lasers at him.
Then, in retaliation, Ben crossed his wrists, inadvertently firing a green laser at the ships, quickly blasting them into pieces.
"Whoa. Was that from me?", WayBig puzzled before noticing Vilgax making a run for it and caught him just as Sixsix recovered only for Tetrax's crystals to erupt, blocking his escape route before Tetrax spoke up.
"Leaving?", Tetrax asked before he and Gorvan knocked Sixsix out cold.
"Just like old times.", Gorvan grinned as Myaxx and Gluto caught up and all four, especially Julie, Kevin, and Gwen saw Emily confronting Malware, who turned around to notice her as she crossed her arms and uncrossed them just as quickly.
Then, a moment after Malware turned around completely, lightning struck again with him and Emily having a stare down before the former charged toward Emily with a roar only for Emily to charge back at him and then strike back first, knocking him back for a moment before Emily went for another attack only for Malware to push her aside, grab her by the right wrist and toss her to the ground.
"I am superior!", Malware spoke as he charged his mouth cannon before Emily only raised her arm just in time to reflect Malware's blast from his mouth straight back at him with her fin from her arm, knocking him back, allowing Emily to recover.
"Just so you know, that was for Gluto.", Emily spoke before she then went in for a kick and a strike with her arm before she and Malware clashed arms with each other for a moment, going past each other before Malware attempted to counter with his fist only for Emily to cross her wrists and then fire a green laser blast at Malware, knocking him back.
"Whoa. That's definitely new.", Emily spoke before Malware then recovered and tried to attack only for Emily to go around him and then push him by the back, moving him away from Emily.
"I've had enough!", Malware shouted before ramming into Emily (who hit him on the back with her arm), causing them to fall down.
"How do you think I feel right now?", Emily retorted before Malware crashed her into the ground.
Then, before Malware could deal the final blow, Emily dodger and countered with a strike of her own, knocking him to the ground before Emily got up as Malware recovered.
"You haven't won. All the Galvan system..., all of the universe...!", Malware began before Emily crossed her wrists and uncrossed them quickly.
"Will be safe from you, Malware!", Emily interrupted.
Meanwhile, Vilgax struggled to break himself free from WayBig's grasp.
"Release me! Or suffer the consequences!", Vilgax threatened.
"Pretty big talk for such a little guy.", WayBig responded before Vilgax only made his point by clasping his hand tightly onto WayBig's hand, dealing him some pain, which at this point feels more like a sting.
"Ow! That's it! You are so out of here!", WayBig shouted before he then pulled his arm back and tossed Vilgax out of Zenon.
"NOOOOO!", Vilgax shouted.
Meanwhile, Malware was livid with Emily.
"Curse you, Emily Roosevelt!", Malware shouted before preparing his mouth cannon with Emily crossing her wrists into an X-shape, charging a green beam before both blasts fired.
But when the blasts hit head-on, the green blast quickly overwhelmed Malware's blast, causing him to yell out as the blast then caused Malware to decay into stone.
"The bigger they are, the harder they fall.", Emily spoke.
Later, Emily and Ben were now back to normal as Azmuth was now making a makeshift vehicle out of the robot drone's head.
"What are you doing?", Emily asked.
"Making myself a ride off Zenon. There isn't exactly enough peace and quiet going on. And the rainstorms here at night aren't helping matters either.", Azmuth responded.
"Mr. Azmuth, I just wanted to thank you for fixing the Omnitrix. If you want it back, it is yours.", Ben assured.
"I created the Omnitrix to help all the beings of the universe grow closer together. If an earthling can make that happen, then I see no reason why you shouldn't have it. And on another note, it could cause some trouble. The kind that perhaps only Emily can help clean up.", Azmuth responded as he connected the wires together and hopped off to get inside the cylindrical room.
"Well, aren't you going to come along, Myaxx?", Azmuth asked.
"Are you going to give me some respect from now on?", Myaxx asked.
"Eh, that's debatable.", Azmuth responded.
"Guess it is better than that prison planet.", Myaxx responded before she stepped aboard.
"Wait. You have to tell me how to work this thing.", Ben urged.
"Don't you think it's best to figure this out on your own? The way a true hero would?", Azmuth asked with a grin.
"Uh, not really.", Ben responded before Azmuth chuckled.
"I can see why she likes you.", Azmuth stated before the door closed.
When it did, the robot head took off like a rocket.
"Oh, man.", Ben spoke in awe.
"I second that. Guess we'd better head back home now.", Emily spoke.
"Yeah. It'll be nice to have a little normal time after all this.", Julie agreed.
"You guys can head back. I'm gonna bail.", Kevin spoke as he then walked away.
"Are you sure?", Emily asked.
"Yep. And don't think this is over. 'Cause the next time we meet, I'm still going to settle the score.", Kevin responded before he jumped off the cliff and then mutated into his mutant form before flying off.
"I know. Because by the time you get back, we'll be ready.", Emily spoke before Ben turned to Gluto.
"Yo, Snotty. Think you can drive us back to Earth?", Ben asked.
"No problem.", Gluto suddenly responded, surprising him.
"You can speak English and you understand everything I've said?", Ben spoke in disbelief.
"Oh, yeah. 'Snot blob.'", Gluto responded.
"Who knew?", Tetrax and Julie spoke at the same time.
"I have a feeling it's gonna be a long trip back home.", Ben spoke rubbing the back of his head.
"Maybe you should've thought of that before saying those things about him.", Gorvan responded with a smirk.
"Oh, that reminds me. I need a new name for that alien I unlocked.", Emily remembered.
"Any ideas?", Myaxx asked.
"How about...Visco?", Emily guessed.
"Wow. That actually is a cool name.", Ben commented.
"And it's cute, too.", Julie added, putting her arm on Ben's shoulder.
Later, Ben, Gwen, Emily, and Julie were now dropped off back to Earth with the Resolute now leaving.
"Thanks for the ride!", Gwen shouted with a wave.
"And the cool gift! Visit soon!", Emily added before the ship took off.
"Well, after an adventure like that, bet you guys are looking forward to a nice, normal day.", Max guessed.
"Oh. Yeah. We should go to the mall. And go shopping for clothes and junk.", Ben suggested before Gwen gave a grin.
"Sure. Just try not to get yourself kicked out this time.", Julie advised before a report suddenly came in from the radio.
"We interrupt our regular broadcasting for this emergency report. A horde of what appears to be zombies are attacking the mall. Citizens are advised to stay clear of the area.", the reporter spoke in the radio.
"Well, so much for that idea.", Emily sighed.
"Guess this is a normal day for us.", Gwen agreed.
"This is the best summer ever!", Ben spoke as he then got on his hover board before riding on it as Emily got on hers and started riding on it as well with Gwen, Julie, Max, and Dave following.
"It's Hero Time!", Ben and Emily said together before they lurched forward, ready for battle as Gwen prepared as well with blue fields around her hands just as Julie, Max, and Dave leapt forward.
