"Clary..." Isabelle gasped, tears running down her face. Clary had never seen Izzy cry before, so she was shocked. She looked around at the other people in the room. Nobody paid attention to the broken pieces of the glass Simon had dropped in shock. They all had the same expression. An odd mix of sadness, anger, sympathy and shock. "I'm so sorry, Clary. I never would've imagined." Izzy threw her arms around Clary without any warning.

"Don't be," Clary said. Izzy moved back and put her hands on Clary's shoulders for a moment, then took a step back to let the others talk to Clary too. Alec and Magnus hugged her, offering words of empathy, but Simon stayed back. His eyes were glinting with fury, and they were glazed. His head was bowed down, and he was as still as a board.

"Simon?" Clary hesitantly moved towards him, trying to calm him down, "What's wrong?"

"Huh? Nothing, I-" his eyes focused on her, "I want to kill him."

"It's okay," she said in a soothing voice, "I'm okay."

"I'm so sorry, Clary. I should've been there for you, I should've found you." Simon shook his head.

"No, it's not your fault. None of you could've found me, I was too far gone. It's over now, I'm here and that's all that matters." She wrapped her arms around him, embracing her best friend. Simon tightly clasped his arms around her, not wanting to let go in the fear that it would all be a dream.

"I missed you, Clary." Simon murmured, his eyes wet with tears.

"I missed you too, Simon. You're my best friend." Clary smiled.

Simon cleared his throat, wiping his eyes. "Allergies, you know."

"Sure, bloodsucker." Jace grinned. In any other case, Jace would be angry that Simon and Clary were hugging, but not this time. He understood how much they had missed each other, they had known each other for such a long time, after all. He knew he had nothing to worry about, Clary loved him and Simon loved Izzy.

"Anyway, let's move on from this topic." Clary said.

"Well, you're back so we need to celebrate! Let's go to the Pandemonium tonight, no demons this time." Izzy suggested.

Everyone agreed, they would go to the Pandemonium to celebrate. Maybe it would be a carefree night, but you never know...

Okay, this was very very very short, I know. I was originally planning to update tomorrow, but I was done with this much, so I decided to publish it anyways. I promise I'll do the rest soon, maybe in a day or two, maybe tomorrow. And to answer the lovely guest who asked me if I have any other stories; Yes, I have quite a few uselessly lying around on my laptop.
