A few days later, Luxe, Henry and Tasha had become inseparable. They would tell each other about their worries at the usual cafe, they would laugh. Henry felt like he was in another world, the world he could have lived in if his mother hadn't abandoned him.

But one day, the police find them stealing from a convenience store. Luxe and Tasha did this a lot but it was the first time they'd been caught. They also lacked a lot of money to pay the monthly rent. Henry was very ashamed to have been caught with his hand in the bag just to help them. August and Regina, being told quickly enough, paid Henry's deposit. The policeman informed the young girls that their apartment would be seized and that they would have to find a solution to get out. August took the initiative to take his daughter home.

The police called Tasha's father to pick her up on the other side of the country. The two friends were devastated to leave but it was the best solution and unfortunately they knew it.

« Why are you doing this, why do you want me to come to your place? »

It was the first time August had a real conversation with his daughter.

« Henry has told us a lot about you and your situation, you need support, young lady. Tasha, she has her family. You have only us. »

« I'll be happy with that then », the angry girl said.

He felt like he had hurt his daughter again by separating her from her friend, but he had to protect her, she had to be in good hands.

Luxe was sleeping in Henry's room, they had bought a sofa bed. Luxe only spoke to Henry, she didn't feel comfortable with Regina and August. The former evil queen comforted her companion telling him that she needed time.

But one evening Henry decided to spit it out. He was getting tired of not telling her anything about him, especially since she often told him about Neal, that he was the best person she had met in her life, that he had given her hope. She didn't know that he had done even more than that, that he had watched over her and that he was her guardian angel who had been paying her money since she was three years old.

« Shit », Henry confused himself

« What is happening to you ? »

« Luxe, you need to know one thing, how to tell you, the man you think is my father, in fact he's yours. »

« What? » Luxe exclaimed, laughing out loud

Henry snuck into his "parents" room. Fortunately, they were in the living room watching TV. He found his father's letter in a drawer and gave it to Luxe.

« Please read this, my father wrote it »

« What, your father is Neal, it's impossible »

« I know it might sound crazy but it's true »

« You don't think I deserved to know this sooner », she annoyed

« You're right, but you told me that you were so angry with your parents, that you no longer wanted them and I promised your father that it was he who had to tell you everything, but it's too difficult to lie you. We are very related lux and not for good reasons »

« Tell me everything »

« Do you believe me ? »

« It will depend on your story but yes I believe you, it's true that you look a lot like Neal to him, I had already thought about it »

Henry knew it was August to tell her about magic, and in Storybrooke, it would work. He tried to keep his story as plausible as possible.

« It all started when August's father, Marco abandoned him when he was seven. Marco had big problems with the law and had to be separated from his son. Marco's friends, Mary Margaret and David asked him to look after their baby because they were too young to have a child. Marco then asked his son to take care of baby Emma and ensure that she made the right choice so that after her sentence, the whole family would be reunited. Unfortunately, this is not what happened. August abandoned Emma in an orphanage to go see the world. Years later, he met Annie in Sri Lanka when he was 22. They spent two years together but August found Emma's trace by chance and preferred to abandon the woman he loves to join his family. It was later found that Annie was pregnant. Across the world in Portland, Emma, 17, met Neal, who was a thief. They lived an outlaw life until August stepped in and sidelined Emma. Emma was also pregnant, but like Annie, she abandoned her child so that they would have a better chance. I was then adopted by the mayor of the town of Storybrooke, a small town near Boston, Regina. Finally, ten years later, August joined Emma, whom I had managed to find and his father, in Storybrooke and then the whole family. »

He knew that without this magic story, his story wouldn't hold up too much but she would know more later.

« What about Neal? »

« It was his father, a jeweler in the city, who had also abandoned him, he wanted to do everything to find him and by accompanying him with Emma, I learned that it was my father. But after a few months spent with him, he died in an accident. Sorry to tell you like that. »

« Neal is dead ?, the girl started to cry, how long ago? »

« Two years ! »

« But, I don't understand if Neal wrote this letter to my father, before his death, why didn't he go get me before? »

« That's a very good question. Neal had entrusted the letter to Emma to give it to him because your father was in a coma for two and a half years. He had a skin disease, it was not a pretty sight, and miraculously he recovered, my mother and I helped him a lot to get back on his feet. »

« I don't know what to think of all this Henry, I feel a little lost, there are a lot of connections and quite complex stories »

« That's why you had to know it fast enough! »

« What should I do now? »

« Tomorrow, My mother and I will go for a walk so that you can have a little time with your father without telling him what I just told you. You really don't have to blame him, he didn't know »

« Yes, I read the letter, Henry. Alright I'll try tomorrow. One last question »

« If you want to know about my adoptive mother and your father, they've only been together for a few months, it's all new, but I'm very happy for them. August was a great friend when he first came to Storybrooke and now he's almost like a father to me. He tries to protect my two mothers at the risk of his life »

« In fact you ask me to believe my father is a hero », she sneered

« Maybe before no, but now yes I'm sure »
