I was going to meet with percy for the afternoon. I got my parents' permission to go to New York a few days early. I almost threw up when I got inside the taxi, it smelled disgusting.
I was relieved to finally get out of the taxi. Right outside was percy's new school. He should be out in about an hour. But I got there early, so I decided to surprise him. I've had on him ever since our second quest, the sea of monsters. I just can't bring myself to tell him that I love him. I really wanted to cenfess before we get into more trouble and almost die, again. I saw percy heading out of the building, but he wasn't supposed to be out yet.
'You're out early' I said.
'Yeah...'
I could tell by his expression that something was wrong. 'What's wrong?'
Just then a girl ran towards us. She looked good, with curly red hair. She said to percy 'You can go, I'll make something up. But next time you better tell me more about Half-Bloods and These Greek monsters.'
'Okay... Thanks'
She ran back inside the building. I was in awe. Did Percy just tell a mortal girl about the heros of olympus? 'Who's that?' I asked
'Her name's Rachel'
'And did you just tell a mortal girl about Half-Bloods and Olympus?!'
'She's not regular she can see throught the mist'
'And how do you know that?'
'Last time she could see the skeleton warriors in the-'
'So you've met before…' I thought I was about to cry, but turned and atrated walking away so he wouldn't notice.
'Yeah, but-' He followed and was about to continue before I cut him off.
'She's cute.'
'I-I never thought about that-'
'Sure you didn't!'
'We were attacked by two empousa cheerleaders!'
'Guess our afternoon's off'
Percy looked a little hurt, maybe I was a little too harsh, but I couldn't bear the fact that he was with another girl. I had to change the topic. 'We need to get back to camp, now!' This was bad.
