I know this is going to be terrible. But this is what I was stuck on for MONTHS. If you have better ideas, PLEASE sent them my way and I'll replace it and give you credit! Anyway, on to the story!

Avy's POV

"You ready?" Calli whispered. I nod. "Three...two...one!" We yanked the door open then ran to the front door and ran off to the woods with the guys yelling at us and trying to catch up. Calli laughed and when Quinn yelled out,

"Darn this stupid root!" when he tripped, so did I. We ran all the way around the school to the tourney field where the team was practicing. Ignoring the coach, we ran straight through the "Kill Zone" and dodged every single disc. Colt and Calli were almost grazed but weren't while Are, Quinn, and I dodged 'em without much effort. We kept running towards the woods and ran to the Enchanted Lake. When Calli and I reached it we stopped abruptly and the boys fell in the shallow end, creating a splash. When Quinn surfaced with Are and Colt, I burst out laughing. The murderous expressions on their faces were downplayed by their hair drippin' in their face, plastered to 'em as well.

When they stepped out, I immediately stopped laughing. Each step Quinn took towards me, I took a step back. When a mischievous grin slowly appeared, my eyes widened and I started to take off. However, the time it took me to turn was my undoing. Quinn grabbed me and lifted me up while tickling me.

"Quinn! Quinn, stop!" I laughed. He kept tickling me while my so-called friends just watched smiling.

"Guys, guys help!" I tried to call out to them. They just smiled wider and didn't bother responding. Quinn just continued tickling me and walked over to the edge of the Lake.

"Quinn! Quinn, no! No no no! Please!" I kept laughing while realizing his plan. He just grinned and simply replied, "Payback." And I shrieked as he dropped me in the chilly water.

"Not cool Quinn! Not cool at all!"

"The water is though, right?" Quinn replied. I mock glared at him then sighed.

"At least, help me up." I held out my hand for help and when he grabbed it, I grinned and pulled him next to me.

"Hey! Not nice, Avy!" he complained, teasing me.

"C'mon Are, Colt, Calli! Get in!" I shouted to the others. They grinned at each other then jumped in splashing me and Quinn in the process.

"Hey!" I shouted.

"Not cool!" Quinn added. Calli just grinned and started a splash war.

"Hey!" Are cried out indignantly. I grinned then splashed him as well. "Oh it's on!" he declared.

And that's how we spent the rest of the day. Being family, having fun, with no worries allowed to plague us.
