I would just like to say that the people in reviews are brilliant geniuses. Also, y'all make my day sometimes. I did have some things concerning how Yuudai is two years behind in academics but that idea is genius. I do agree so let's cause my OC some more stress and just pile that onto the next chapter. Please keep giving me ideas, thanks. I'll be back on the 13th. Also, sometimes I can't see reviews so sorry if I miss yours.

"We've given you permission for this trip but that doesn't mean you're allowed to go crazy. We're still hesitant to even let you go on by train even if you're with Midoriya," Yuudai's doctor had been rattling off the many dangers and possible events that could happen on this trip for the past hour.

Yuudai could only nod and wait for him to finish his ramble.

"Also, you've been given permission to use your Quirk in emergency situations only. Please be very careful with what you say from the moment you leave this hospital. And only use your Quirk when someone you know is looking out for you. If you were to go into a coma again we wouldn't want to wait a day before getting you to a hospital." The doctor repeats again.

Yuudai nods, again.

There's a familiar knock at the door. Eraserhead.

"Hi, we're here to pick up Kojiko-kun." Nezu pokes his head into the room.

Yuudai's doctor smiles, "Great, we're just about finished."

The doctor turns to Yuudai as Nezu closes the door, "Be very careful, please. You have your crutches so if you have trouble walking please use them and we've informed some heroes in the area incase of any emergency. If you find anything wrong please come back immediately."

Yuudai smiles and pats the worried doctor on the shoulder and walks towards the door. He'd finally be getting out. This time, with permission from the hospital. Even if it was just for a short week. He'd managed to group together some jackets and sweatshirts and pants for the next few days but he was told that he'd probably be wearing the school's gym uniform since Yuudai hadn't turned in a design for his hero costume.

"You ready?" Eraserhead asks as he hands Yuudai a briefcase with the number twenty one.

Yuudai nods and grins and he scoops the case under one arm, the other hand was already slightly relying on one of the forearm crutches. He was still using his backpack from middle school, the blue and white one. He'd moved everything over to the new wallet, though, complete with U.A. student ID.

"Everyone had agreed to meet up at the station so if you're not ready to meet the class you won't have to. Midoriya agreed to meet you by the entrance so I'll be dropping you off there." Aizawa explains while driving to the station.

"You're not coming?" Yuudai asks.

Aizawa's a little surprised, "You want me to come with you?"

Yuudai shrugs.

"I can't go. I'm helping out school...other students need training…" Aizawa trails off, totally not thinking about a different kid with a vocal Quirk.

Yuudai nods as Aizawa continues driving.

"Hey, how did you get such good control with your Quirk?" Aizawa asks casually, "You seem more comfortable. Not as worried that you're going to slip up."

Yuudai stares at Aizawa.

"Did you practice talking on your own...or something?" Aizawa avoids Yuudai's gaze, "I wanted to know what sort of training you did to be able to talk without...nevermind...I'll just ask Present Mic."

Yuudai nods. When they arrive at the station, Aizawa drops off Yuudai at the entrance like he said he would then drives off to a parking structure.

"Kojiko-kun!" Midoriya shouts and waves, he's holding a briefcase like the one Aizawa gave to Yuudai but with the number 18 but he also has a mustard colored backpack.

Yuudai waves back and hurries over to Midoriya.

"You got everything?" Midoriya asked, looking over the items that Yuudai is carrying.

"Everything is packed and ready." Yuudai confirms.

"I was thinking that I could give you my contact information but it looks like you still haven't gotten a phone yet." Midoriya made small talk, "I would have already added you to the group chat if you had a phone."

Yuudai smiles in agreement, "I really do want to get a phone. Also, I was thinking of meeting everyone today. Also, I can carry my own luggage."

Midoriya had insisted on holding Yuudai's case, saying that there were a lot of stairs and that he should use both crutches to get up them.

"It's fine. But are you coming with me to the meet up?" Midoriya slows his walking pace as they come across a few steps.

Yuudai holds onto the railing as he walks down and up the stairs, "Meet up?"

"Aizawa-sensei didn't tell you? The class is supposed to meet up before we all go to different places."

Yuudai looks at the floor, "I'm not going."

Midoriya nods, "That's fine. You can just wait nearby. Will you be okay on your own?"

"I'm not a kid, Midoriya-kun." Yuudai puffs up his cheeks.

"I mean you sorta are." Midoriya points out.

"I'm just not good with...large groups of people…" Yuudai says quietly.

Midoriya smiles, "And that's fine too. You can get to know everyone little by little. There's everyone else!" Midoriya points at a small crowd of students in uniform.

Yuudai looks down at the floor then nervously fiddles with the string of his hoodie.

"Ah, you don't need to worry. If you're far away enough, it'll be like you blend in with everyone else." Midoriya pats Yuudai on the shoulder, "It's not really too crowded but if you get overwhelmed you can tell me."

"I'll be over there," Yuudai points at the chairs a little ways away, then takes back his case and goes to sit.

After a few minutes, Aizawa appeared and rounded everyone up. He said a short speech about behaving and wearing costumes then let everyone run off. Once everyone began to split up, Yuudai had figured out who was who. He mainly focused on watching the two people Midoriya seemed to talk about a lot recently. Iida and Todoroki. Midoriya also mentioned a Shinso but Yuudai didn't see anyone with floaty, purple hair. It seemed like Todoroki was doing better than when Midoriya last spoke about him but Iida seemed...off. Yuudai watched as Midoriya managed a few comforting lines to his friend before Iida walked away.

"Kojiko." Aizawa approaches Midoriya and Yuudai after most everyone has run off.

"Aizawa-sensei, did you need something?"

Aizawa rifles through his pockets and brings up a simple phone, "It's old and all it can do is messages and calls and the number is temporary but it works. I thought it'd be better to have a surefire way to contact you."

"A phone, yes! Thanks, Eraser Head." Yuudai turns it on and examines it.

"That's great, Kojiko-kun! I probably can't add you to the group chat because that phone won't be able to download the app but at least I can call and text you." Midoriya takes out his phone and pulls up his contacts.

Yuudai watches as Midoriya enters his phone number into the phone, testing a few messages to confirm it worked.

"Thanks, Aizawa-sensei." Midoriya grins.

Aizawa huffs and then walks away.

"So, Kojiko-kun," Midoriya starts, "You didn't get to formally meet everyone but you did get to see them. What'd you think?"

"I was a little worried about Iida-kun but you seem to know what you're doing." Yuudai pats Midoriya on the shoulder, "Other than that I thought I was a little short compared to some of the boys."

Midoriya laughs, "Don't be too upset. Tokoyami's 158 cm and Mineta is 108 cm so you're just fine. Your 163 cm is good enough, besides you're almost my height so consider it normal."

"But I just know that I'd be 180 cm by now if I hadn't missed those two years." Yuudai pouts.

Midoriya laughs again and Yuudai waves his arms in disapproval. After Midoriya had stopped laughing they walked to their platform. At one point, Yuudai tried to take back his case from Midoriya but he said that it would be difficult for Yuudai to walk carrying it. Yuudai stubbornly agreed, there were more stairs in the station than he'd expected and he'd begun to use his forearm crutches more.

Yuudai was relieved when they sat down on the train. The walk was longer and there were too many stairs. At least in the hospital there was an elevator and people who knew to get out of the way of the person with the crutches. Midoriya and Yuudai had a quick debate on whether or not to buy bentos but they eventually just settled for whatever snacks they'd packed. It was only a 45 minute ride, after all.

"Gran Torino wasn't a name I was familiar with and I didn't really have time to do any research but I'm sure he must be an amazing person!" Midoriya exclaims while they walk to Gran Torino's address.

"I'm sure...he must be…" Midoriya's sentence trails off as they approach an old and worn down building.

Yuudai smirks and examines the worn down building, "He's the best. Ever."

"It's the address I was given, Kojiko-kun!" Midoriya fires back with a little blush, "Anyways we should introduce ourselves."

Midoriya heads up the steps and knocks on the door, when there was no answer he poked his head inside. Yuudai was busy catching his breath, sitting on the steps as Midoriya searched for Gran Torino. He was a little startled when Midoriya started screaming and saying that someone was dead. Yuudai jumps up, and turns to see a small, old man on the floor. He was okay though, the blood was just ketchup.

"My name is Midoriya Izuku. I've come here with Kojiko Yuudai. We're here from U.A.." Midoriya says stiffly.

"What?" Gran Torino hoists himself to his feet.

Yuudai gets up and joins Midoriya inside the building, still a little shaky.

"I'm Midoriya Izuku!" Midoriya says louder.

"Who're you?" Gran Torino asks bluntly.

Yuudai blinks, Gran Torino is an old man...that doesn't listen to anyone...okay.

"I wanna eat some food." Gran Torino declares and plops down onto the ketchup covered floor.

"But it's-" Midoriya starts and stops.

"Toshinori!" Gran Torino smiles.

Yuudai almost bursts out laughing, "That's neither of our names!"

Midoriya sweatdrops, "E-excuse me. I just...need to go use the phone for a second."

Midoriya starts towards the door as Yuudai sets down his bags next to the couch. Yuudai doesn't really care if Gran Torino is old, he just didn't want to spend this week in a hospital. Yuudai stretches out his arms and legs. His weaker points are his joints, mainly knees and shoulders and elbows. Though the stress of using the crutches made his arms hurt more than his legs. There also seemed to be an arising issue with his left knee, it felt stiffer than normal and also sometimes hurt a lot for no reason. He'd get it checked out later, though.

"Come at me! One for All!" Gran Torino declares while going through Midoriya's case.

Yuudai perks up, he'd never heard Midoriya be called One for All before. What was it? Yuudai looks to Midoriya who had turned to stone.

"G-Gran-Gran Torino…" Midoriya says very awkwardly, "Kojiko-kun doesn't know about…"

Yuudai's head tilts.

"Ah." Gran Torino halts then smiles, "Well, it's fine."

Midoriya freezes again. Fine? Letting someone find out about One for All, aka one of the biggest secrets of his life, was fine?! How!? Midoriya turns to Yuudai and claps his hands together. He'd need to explain later. He'd need to explain a lot. Yuudai smiles and waves it away, accepting his delay in explanation.

"I want to see how well you can handle One for All." Gran Torino continues as if he didn't just spill a huge secret.

"Well...um...something like that is-" Midoriya, still very caught up in the secret spilling, doesn't really know what to say.

"Ya got a nice costume here. Now put it on and come at me!" Gran Torino picks up some of the parts of Midoriya's costume and examines them.

Midoriya looks at Yuudai who shrugs at him, Yuudai hadn't been spoken to since they'd arrived. It sort of made sense, Gran Torino only asked for Midoriya after all and Aizawa had mentioned to Midoriya briefly that Yuudai had stopped talking to people. The doctors concluded some form of selective mutism or something to do with trust or familiarity.

"Who're you?" Gran Torino asks Midoriya again.

Midoriya screams and then calms down, "I...need to hurry up…I really have to learn how to deal with my power as soon as possible. Because All Might...doesn't have much time left…"

Yuudai keeps his eyes on Midoriya, practically begging for an explanation.

"So for now...I'll stay...I'm not sure if I have time to be fooling around with you, sir, but Kojiko-kun needs somewhere quiet to practice and this seems quiet enough." Midoriya takes off his backpack, still facing the doorway.

Gran Torino springs into action, nearly hitting Yuudai in the process but he's experienced enough to not hit onlookers.

"Well, if that's the case. You don't need to be concerned about your friend. Focus on yourself. You're barely a twinkle in your mother's eye still, boy. Now get over here and come at me!" Gran Torino smirks from his position above the doorway.

Yuudai sits on the couch, massaging his legs while Midoriya runs over his notes and thinks about what Gran Torino had said to him. Midoriya paced over and looked at the smashed microwave.

"'My admiration for All Might is shackling me.'" Midoriya hums, "'I already understand how to use it…' 'I'm overthinking One for All as special.'"

Yuudai tosses a paper at Midoriya's head.

"'Quirks aren't all that special.'" Midoriya reads, "'P.S. you owe me an explanation.' You can speak and you choose instead to throw a piece of paper at my head?"

Midoriya giggles and nods at Yuudai. In return Yuudai gives Midoriya a 'go for it' thumbs up. After a few more minutes Midoriya stumbled upon an answer and frantically scribbled more notes in his notebook. Yuudai watched carefully as Midoriya muttered new ideas though Yuudai wasn't a hundred percent sure what his friend was doing. He was still confident that Midoriya would be able to figure it out.

The rest of the day was somewhat boring. Yuudai occupied himself by walking up and down the stairs and running outside while Midoriya was occupied with 'thinking of One for All flatly.' Once Gran Torino and Yuudai had fallen asleep, Midoriya headed outside to practice. Yuudai woke up to Midoriya's loud crashes and went outside to find him trying to wall jump.

"Kojiko-kun!" Midoriya exclaims after seeing that Yuudai was awake, "Why are you up?"

"Speak for yourself, idiot." Yuudai whispers as he watches as Midoriya tries to wall jump again.

Midoriya blanks out then realized what he'd forgotten, "Ah! Sorry, Kojiko-kun, I owe you an explanation, right? Um…" Midoriya walks with Yuudai to the front steps and sits, "It's a little difficult to explain without All Might here."

Yuudai shrugs.

"I guess I'll try then." Midoriya scratches the back of his head, "So One for All isn't exactly my Quirk but it is now."

Midoriya spent a good hour trying to explain the entirety of what he knew about One for All and All Might, going back on his sentences a lot. Eventually Yuudai stopped him and said that it would probably be more efficient to learn about this topic with All Might in the room. Midoriya agreed and went back to training while Yuudai headed back to sleep. Today Yuudai discovered that his stamina absolutely sucked.
