Helllloooo! I'm kinda thinking about changing my update schedule since ahhahah classes start in a few weeks. Also, I have a lot of dumped/unused/written over shit from previous chapters that I don't know what to do with and I kinda wanna share it. It's not useful in anyway but I'll probably make a different story for it even if no one wants to see it.

As far as updates go, I'll probably change to once a week? Every 5 days? Not sure yet. Just lemme know if that's okay, I guess.

After the swimming thing, Aizawa gave me another lecture and All Might repeated his statement about villains. After the mall incident, All Might started suggesting to Aizawa that I be moved from the hospital. And after all my sneaking out, Aizawa has started to agree, albeit stubbornly. I'm trying not to sneak out as often as I did when I was younger but really, hospitals are fucking boring.

Aizawa even started talking to my doctor about the possibility of being completely moved out of the hospital with monthly check ups. I also heard Yamada and Aizawa whispering about their spare room in their apartment. It makes the most sense that I'll go stay with my legal guardian but he's also my teacher so I don't really know what to think. I don't want to force anyone to take me in, that would just stress everyone out. But before there's any time to actually think about it, the starting day of the camp arrives.

"Wha?! Class A needs supplementary lessons? That means someone got a failing mark!?" Monoma teases at the buses, "Huh!? Isn't that weird!? Isn't that strange!? I thought Class A was supposed to be superior to Class B, right? Huuuuuuh?"

Thankfully Kendo shuts him up with a chop to the head. Annoying but entertaining. I smile inside, Class 1-B and Class 1-A don't really interact much but I think they're fun and make the day more interesting.

"Well, a lot of stuff happened at that Sports Festival...either way, congrats A Team."

"Mmn."

"There's. So. Many. To. Choose. From." Mineta wipes the drool waterfall from his mouth.

"You have some serious issues," Kirishima says.

Seriously serious. I nod in agreement.

Iida raises his hands up, "Class A's bus is here, please queue in seating order!"

And thanks to that the bus loading is a little less chaotic than normal. The actual ride, however, is the same as Class A always is - loud. Aizawa doesn't glare at them or shut them up like he normally does, though. I can only wonder why. But who cares when there's chocolate, snacks, and music. This time I don't fall asleep, which is good because I like to be awake when I hang out with friends.

I do, however, take a power nap about a half hour into the ride. It sucks but the only time I can sleep is when I know there's other alive people next to me. Midoriya wakes me up after 20 minutes because I asked him to keep my sleep schedule regular.

"Rest stop!"

"Gotta pee, gotta pee," Mineta mutters and holds his crotch.

Midoriya stretches, the bus was only a little cramped. I take in the fresh air, it's been a while since I've gone to the mountains. It's comfortable. It's quiet but not too quiet because of the sounds in the forest from all the animals.

"Wait, this isn't a rest stop?"

I shrug and lean on the railing, who cares if it isn't. Smell that air. Hear those annoying birds. Wonderful.

"Wait, where's Class B?"

"P-pee."

"To say there's no ulterior motive would be a lie…" Aizawa mumbles.

"Heeeey! Eraser!" A lady's voice shouts, "It's been a while!"

"With sparkling eyes, we rock on!"

"Cute, cat, singer!"

"The Wild & Wild…"

"Pussycats!"

Two ladies wearing hero costumes strike a pose. Also a little kid who looks like he doesn't want to be there.

"I'd like to introduce the professional heroes, the Pussycats," Aizawa says in a monotone voice.

Midoriya explodes in excitement, "One of the four hero teams that founded the Union Affairs office! They specialize in mountain rescue operations, and are veterans in their field! They've got 12 years of experience on them-"

"I've got 18 in my heart!" The blond cat smacks Midoriya in the face.

"This area is more or less our domain," the brunette looks proudly at the view, "The place you'll be staying at is on the base of that mountain," she points at a far away spot.

"So far away!"

I lean over the railing and breath. Mountain air really does feel better.

"Huh?" Uraraka plays with her hands, "Then why did we stop if we're only halfway there?"

"Don't tell me…"

Sero spins around, "Let's hurry back to the bus please?"

"It's 9:30am right now," the brunette starts, "If you kick it into high gear, it'll be about 12…"

"Oh no."

"Let's go back!"

"To the bus! Hurry!"

I snicker, like they'll let you back on.

"The kittens that don't make it before 12:30 won't be eating."

"I'm sorry everyone…" Aizawa sighs, "But your school trip…has already started."

The ground raises up and it startles me a little. It's nothing too harsh, just throwing everyone off the cliff. I'm so glad that I'm not afraid of heights. I see a glimpse of Aizawa and he sends me a nod. What the fuck's that supposed to mean? Eraser Head, nodding doesn't mean I'll understand you! What's it mean? Good luck? You can do it? Oh...oh wait it probably means my doctor's orders don't apply. So...

"Since it's private land, you can use your Quirks as you wish!" The brunette shouts, "You have three hours! Use your own feet to get to the facility! After getting through...The Beast's Forest!"

Fun!

Midoriya spits mud out of his mouth, "'The Beast's Forest?'"

Luckily, I land on a softer pile of mud and rocks. What does suck is that we don't have our hero costumes. Meaning, I don't have any of my support gear.

"Sounds like something out of Dragon Quest," Kaminari dusts himself off.

"U.A. is notorious for this…"

"No use complaining, let's get this over with."

Mineta suddenly dashes into the trees. Pee?

He is then stopped by a giant beast. Which makes Kaminari and Sero's eyes go wide and maybe Mineta pisses himself. It's hard to be sure.

"There, there, beast...just calm down and fall back please," Koda holds out his arms.

"Koda-kun!" Ashido exclaims.

The beast raises an arm and clumps of dirt fall from its limbs. Mud monster? That's one of the cat's Quirks. So...it's just mud? I feel myself smile, this should be really easy then. I snap my fingers and focus, I already know that others will go rushing in so the attack can't affect any of my classmates...maybe hold back for now.

And indeed, Midoriya, Iida, Todoroki, and Bakugou surge forward. I grin and run after them. There's a long way to go and too many monsters to count. Seriously, what's the range on that lady's Quirk?

"Kojiko-kun!" Midoriya shouts, "Try the thing!"

I look at him sideways. What thing? He seems to understand my confusion and runs next to me.

"The thing. With the Quirks," Midoriya repeats.

Oh! That thing. It was something we'd only theorized but in our heads it made perfect sense. If I understand someone else's Quirk I can create a command to use it. That doesn't mean I'll be able to handle using it. After all, a person's Quirk is made for that person's body.

I smile and give Midoriya a thumbs up and he bounces away. It was safer to have a little distance when trying new things. Hmmm...so a Quirk...not too harmful on my body...well I know how Bakugou-kun's Quirk works but that'll tear my hands off…

I snap my fingers twice and place my right hand on the nearest beast, "Todoroki."

And boy do I underestimate the sheer amount of cold that Todoroki can handle. It's super cold. Like diving into a frozen lake at the end of December and getting out and standing in a blizzard kind of cold. The ice spikes around the beast and goes higher than I imagined. So using other people's Quirks is harder to control. Okay.

I pull my hand away as the beast crumbles in ice blocks. I hold my right hand in my left and try to warm it up. Todoroki approaches me quickly, along with some other confused people. They'd only ever seen me use my Quirk to shatter or move objects.

"Kojiko," Todoroki says seriously, "What did you do?"

I snap and pull him away from everyone, "I was just experimenting, okay?"

"You used my Quirk," Todoroki glances back at everyone, "You said my name and used something like my Quirk."

I itch the back of my neck, "Sorry, I didn't ask for permission first."

Todoroki shakes his head, "I was just surprised."

"Todoroki-kun?" Midoriya jumps down next to us.

"Midoriya," Todoroki greets, "I was just curious as to what that was."

Midoriya nods, "We were testing to see if Kojiko-kun could use other people's Quirks."

I rub my right hand, "I'm impressed, your right side is really cold."

Todoroki takes my hand with his left hand and it warms up. Cool.

"It's dangerous to use Quirks not meant for your body," Todoroki returns my hand after it returns to a normal temperature, "You're lucky you didn't freeze your hand off. I can handle the cold because I can regulate my temperature because of practice."

I nod, "I was just testing."

"At least now we know it works!" Midoriya exclaims, "For now we should probably not test anything else."

"Yeah," I sigh, "We should get going. Everyone else has gone ahead."

Midoriya nods and sprints off and Todoroki follows him in a path of ice. Personally, I like flying but it's better to have company so I run after the two of them. I was able to keep up in a fight this time around, compared to the Hero Killer fight and all my other sparring matches, I was quicker and healthier. Back to almost 100%.

When we arrive I can feel a bit of blood at the back of my throat and my whole body is tired. 5:30pm, we were late by five and a half hours. Lunch was an apple that I found in a tree which actually wasn't bad for a forest apple. Everyone is really tired, most people suffering from the effects of overusing their Quirks, including me.

"Finally," the blonde cat exclaims, "You're here. Looks like there wasn't much point in threatening to deprive you of lunch."

"'A little over two hours' my ass," Sero whines.

Kirishima leans his head back and groans, "I'm going to starve to death."

"My bad, I meant by our standards," the brunette cat teases.

"So it was just to boast, huh."

"Heheh, honestly I thought you'd take longer," the blonde girl laughs, "To have figured out my awakened earth beasts so quickly and easily. You guys are good, especially," she points at Midoriya, Iida, Todoroki, and Bakugou, "you four...your lack of hesitation and indecisiveness...I take it that it comes from the experiences you have acquired?"

I stretch my arms, it's not a surprise that those four weren't indecisive. The three of them had experience with the Hero Killer and Bakugou...well Bakugou was just that kind of guy. I'm a little sad she didn't include me though. I hum and rub the back of my knee.

"I'm anxious to see what'll become of you guys three years from now! I call dibs right now!" The blonde starts spitting on them, territory marking maybe?

"Mandalay," Aizawa turns to the brunette, "was she always so hyper?"

"She's in a bit of a rush...being at the marrying age and all."

"Speaking of marrying age-" Midoriya is cut off by a paw to the face.

"Don't speak!" the blond shouts.

Midoriya speaks anyway, "I've been wondering for a while...are one of you that child's mother?"

I glance at the kid with the hat with gold horns.

Mandalei waves at the kid, "Oh, no, that kid is my nephew. Kota! Come say hi, you're going to be living with them for the next week."

Midoriya walks over to him and hunches down a little, "Oh, um, I'm Midoriya from U.A. High School's hero course," Midoriya holds out his hand, "nice to meet you."

Kota takes a step back and swings a punch into Midoriya's crotch. Owch! I feel my body curl up and die just watching. Iida rushes to Midoriya's stone body as Kota walks away.

"You brute of a nephew!" Iida shouts, "Why would you do that to Midoriya's scrotum?!"

Kota looks back with a glare, "I'm not going to fuck around with a bunch of losers who want to grow up to be corny ass heroes."

"Fuck around!? How old are you?!"

Bakugou smirks, "Kid thinks he's an adult."

Todoroki looks at Bakugou, "Reminds me of someone I know…"

"Ah?! He's nothing like me! At least I don't keep all my emotions pent up inside like a certain someone!" Bakugou snaps back.

Nice one, Bakugou-kun. Real smooth.

"Relax, it was a joke," Todoroki says calmly.

"Enough chit chat, go get your bags from the bus," Aizawa points at the doors behind him, "Once you've settled into your rooms, grab dinner in the dining hall. After that, take a bath, kick back and unwind. The real deal starts tomorrow. Get a move on it."

I sigh with relief. The day is done, thank the earth we stand on. I'm glad I was able to get a set of those foldable crutches from school for daily use. I continue rubbing my knee, this fucking sucks. I slide my bag out of the bus' storage compartment and slide on the cuffs for the crutches.

"Kojiko-kun, do you need help?" Midoriya asks as I lean my weight on the crutch.

I shake my head, "I'm all good. Just a little tired."

"If you say so," Midoriya says and picks up his own bag.

Everyone ended up splitting up to set up their own beds but it only took a few minutes for everyone to pile into the dinning room. I'm glad that the boys dormitory is bigger than the hospital room I'm used to. I wonder if I'll be able to sleep tonight.

"The girl's dormitory is just a regular size then?"

"I hear the boy's dormitory is massive! Hey, can we come visit after this?!"

"Sure the more the merrier."

"Fish, meat, vegetables...I've died and gone to heaven!"

It really was like heaven. A really big feast and it all tasted really good. I sat next to Midoriya for that dinner, it wasn't that I was uncomfortable with any of the rest of the class just that if I fell asleep while eating...Midoriya's probably the person I trust the most. But he seems busy worrying about that kid, Kota. I glance at Midoriya and then at Kota, well...it's none of my business. I go back to eating rice and fish.

After dinner we go to the baths. I feel only slightly...okay a regular amount of uncomfortable. It's not strange for there to be open baths but I've never been to one. Okay? Jeez.

"In the long run, it's not all about food…"

"Kojiko-kun," Kirishima waves, "are you getting in?"

"You'll freeze if you don't!" Kaminari jokes as he gets splashed with water.

I bite my lip and dump water so the soap suds fall off my shoulders and get in the bath quickly.

"That's not what we truly need and want," Mineta announces, "That's something I definitely know...what we seek is beyond this wall."

"What are you going on about, Mineta-kun?"

I sit at the back and dip half my face in the water. It's really warm. I get splashed by droplets of Kaminari and Ojiro's water fight and they apologize and go back to splashing. I get him back by splashing Kaminari using a wood basin. While we're having a water fight Mineta is busy listening to the girls on the other side of the wall. A lot of gross and creepy and he even starts climbing up the wall to get a peek. Kota pushes him off though, but he also loses balance and falls off himself. Midoriya catches him, though. Stupid kid. I go back to dunking Kaminari with water and only end up getting out of the bath when I get too dizzy. Midoriya disappears for a little while after that to take care of Kota.

"Hey! Kojiko-kun," Kaminari shouts, "You wanna play some cards?"

I look over to see Kaminari shuffling a deck of cards in a circle with Sero, Kirishima, Ashido, Jiro, Yaoyorozu, Ojiro, Todoroki, and Tokoyami. I can vaguely remember Sato saying something about cake and some girls and boys going with him to the kitchen. I know a few people already went to bed though. All except for Mineta, who's taped up in the corner of the room.

I shrug and join them.

"So what game are we playing?" Ashido asks, "Poker? Hearts? War?"

Kaminari holds up the deck, "Uno!"

"Uno!?"

"Yep!" Kaminari says happily, "I won a deck from an arcade game so I brought it!"

"Do we even have enough cards to play with this many people?" Jiro asks as Kaminari passes out five cards to everyone.

Todoroki examines his cards, "How do we play?"

Sero gasps, "Todoroki-kun, you don't know how to play Uno?"

"Even for an American game it's popular in Japan but I guess I could understand how you don't know it."

"I actually don't know how to play either," Yaoyorozu raises her hand shyly.

"Wait, really!?" Kaminari exclaims, "How many of you haven't played Uno before?"

Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, and Tokoyami raise their hands. I almost raised my hand but then I remember that one time I played against my mom because she said she was better at it than me. I lost miserably and haven't played since. Kaminari explains the basic rules but then adds in the stupid 7-0 rule to make things fun. It just makes things more chaotic.

By the third match, Kaminari and Jiro end up getting into a fight over who's cheating and peeking at cards. Yaoyorozu solves this by sitting between them and creating a barrier. By the fifth game, Ojiro falls asleep so Kirishima gets Bakugou to replace him. Which is a bad idea because who wakes up a sleeping Bakugou? After Bakugou joins in he gets into a fight with Todoroki who can't grasp 7-0 for his life. Then Sero practically passes out and Midoriya shows up to replace him. By the time the group decided it's the final match there's only Kirishima, Bakugou, Todoroki, Tokoyami, Midoriya, and myself. The girls were told to go to their own dorms and then the rest of the boys returned only to all fall asleep.

How does this wonder Uno story end? It ends with Aizawa confiscating the Uno deck. Yeah. I end up falling asleep at 2am listening to the class snoring. It's not as difficult to fall asleep because everyone's really warm and I can hear them breathing.
