The chariot rides are about to begin and I just can't wait to see the tributes! Me and my friend Ruby roars in excitement with the rest of the thousands of citizens here as we impatiently await the arrival of these amazing tributes! Last year I made a bet with Ruby here on who I thought was going to win and it turns out I was right as Garrison ended up winning! Me and Ruby agreed to make another bet this year and I know I'll get my prediction correct once again!
Me and Ruby both squeal in excitement as district one starts to head out and they're both dressed as a king and queen! Annabelle is blowing kisses to the crowd while Teddy raises his staff in the air and let's out a battle cry. They receive a really loud applause of course and it's time for district two to roll out!
Both of them are dressed as Greek warriors and Amos expertly spins his sword in one hand while giving a wave with the other and Victoria pounds against her armor as she raises her shield in the air. They receive a loud applause as well being careers and all.
District three heads out and the both of them are dressed as robots. The giant man tries to play it off as he does some robotic movements but the little girl is a weird one. She's only standing still while reading some kind of book. She seems strange, but so was Garrison! I think she'll be my prediction to win this year! They get a pretty mediocre response though.
District four rides out and Barbel is dressed as a Sea king of some sort while Vendetta looks like a mermaid. Barbel stands completely still with a stoic look on his face while holding his trident in place. Vendetta isn't much different honestly as she only looks ahead of her with a serious look on her face. These two definitely seem to lack personality, I liked the pair from last year much still get a pretty loud response though.
District five rolls out and both tributes are dressed as lab scientists as they both wear white lab coats with glasses, black pants and shoes, you know the typical scientists. It seems pretty bland honestly. Lysta is apparently very excited as she happily waves and screams in excitement to the audience but Thomas looks nervous, he manages to do a smirk before waving to the crowd though. The lab coats suddenly light up a bunch of different colors though and sparks shoot out from them as they shoot into the air creating fire works, wow that was pretty impressive and we all love them as we give them a huge applause.
District six rolls out and Vladimir is dressed in a white t-shirt with a torn up black vest, matching black slacks with rips in them that has chains hanging against them and black sneakers. Rylee is dressed in an almost identical attire but she's leaning against the chariot trying to stay as far away from Vladimir as possible, and I can even see her trembling, she's obviously terrified of him. He stands still but has a very deranged smirk on his face and suddenly his jacket sets ablaze while Rylee's become surrounded In electricrity and they leave behind a trail of fire and sparks as their chariot charges ahead. They get a pretty loud pop and i like this Vladimir guy, I think he'll go far!
District seven rides out and it's absolutely embarrassing what they're dressed as. The boy is crying profusely and other than a small cloth covering his genital area he's completely naked and painted as a tree log. Lykrie is dressed as some sort of lumberjack with a large Axe in her hand and only gazes infront of her with an expressionless look on her face. Very strange choice of outfits this year and the low applause shows it.
District eight is much better as both of them are dressed as puppets wearing matching green shirts and red stiched up pants. Percy seems very hyper, he literally can't stop jumping around and the Mercedes is posing like she's some kind of model and she's shouting something, it sounds like "Sponsor me cause I'm pretty and rich." Anyways they get a decent applause and next is district nine.
They're both dressed as identical scarecrows as they stand as still as scarecrows with their arms out and feet spread apart. They have stiched up mouthes painted over their actual mouthes, have large buttons covering their eyes, wears brown trousers with a red shirt underneath stuffed with hay along with a straw hat. These two are siblings too so I find it so cute! I just want to pick up that tiny scarecrow and hug her tightly! They get a pretty loud pop especially for district nine.
District ten arrives and both of them are dressed as a cowboy and cowgirl. They wear matching outfits a brown hat, a long sleeved white and beige checkered shirt with a brown leather vest over it, denim jeans covered by chaps and brown boots. They also both have a holster on the side of their waist with a fire arm!
The boy Oswine seems to be shaking a little, he probably doesn't like being around so many people. The girl Sariah is as bubbly as ever waving and shouting hi to everyone and they both pull out their revolver in unison and fire it into the air as confetti rains down upon the audience as we all cheer aloud.
District eleven follows shortly after, Calla is dressed in a dress made of flowers and wears a bangle of flowers and herbs over her head. The boy is dressed in a suit made of flowers and he's all smiles as he's giving a thumbs up to the crowd and waving to everyone but the girl only stands still and looks a little sad. The boy suddenly extends his hand to her and she seems a little hesitant but grabs it. They then do a slow spin together as the flowers begin peeling off their clothes and start to surround their chariot in a small flower tornado until it expands and explodes as tons of flowers fly into the crowd, I even manage to catch one! They receive a loud applause and finally district twelve is next!
Both of them are encased in a coal like suit that glows orange and leaves a trail of smoke behind them. The poor boy Emmett has no legs but is as happy as ever as he holds onto a crutch and uses his other hand to smile and wave to the audience, oh he is just so adorable! The girl Karen seems a bit suspicious. She has a sly grin on her face as she continues glancing over at the small and happy Emmett. Emmett leans against the chariot and sticks both his arms out as he continues smiling and waving to everyone but the girl suddenly shoves him against his back and he falls right over the chariot as he lands on the ground with a loud thud as numerous gasps fill the stadium. Oh my goodness! The small boy tries to recover and sit up and I can see his pained expression from here but one of the horses manning the chariot immediately kicks him in the face as his body goes limp and more gasps fill the stadium as the girl is only laughing maniacally.
What an evil woman she is! What did that poor boy do to deserve this? Oh my is he dead? She only continues laughing as her chariot pulls up next to the others and I can already see some of the tributes giving her a glare. Several first aid technicians run into the field and immediately begin tending to the poor small boy, oh I just hope he's ok!
Here are the chariot rides! A relatively short chapter so i just wanted to get this out early! Next chapter will be Night 1 in the capitol. Some tributes will end up getting more povs than the others in these pre-game chapters, but that's only cause there's certain sub plots involving these tributes that will be taking place before we go into the arena. None the less each tribute should have a have a near equal amount of screen time as even the tributes who don't get a pov, will be featured in other povs. Anyways thanks for the reviews!
