- Chapter 3 : Fisrt meetings! Caster enters the Stage! -
Conan's body went into autopilot for the remaining of the evening as he came back to his room.
(James Moriarty.) he repeated his Servant's true name in his head for the hundredth time (Sherlock Holmes' greatest enemy. The Napoleon of crime. One of the most dangerous crimilas to ever walk the earth, since apparently he actually existed and Arthur Conan Doyle just used him as a base for his character.)
As that thought left the young detective's mind his gaze fell on his backpack, forgotten to the base of his bed (Wait, don't tell me!) he quickly picked it up and rummaged through his content untill he found a specific book, 'The Final Problem' written on the cover. It was the book where Holmes and his nemesis had their final confrontation (Something that has strong ties with his legend.)
He sat on his bad and sighed, staring at the piece of literature "So, it's because of this I summoned him? Couldn't I pick something else for a cange? The adventures of Heracles pehaps? How am I supposed to entrust my safety to him?"
"Well, that is just cruel, Master. I can be trustworthy if I want. I just choose not to be most of the time" spoke the voice of the man in question from his side.
"Ah!" screamed the kid in surprice after his new protector materialized beside him, the book flying out of his hand an falling on the floor "Stop doing that!" he quickly covered his mouth, afraid his little ourbusrt could have woken Ran or Kogoro, his next words just a wisper "What are you doing in my room?"
"I think it is obviouis. Some would say 'Elementary'" he winked at him, an action that actually sent a shiver down the young Master's spine "After my grandious reveal you just nodded at everything I said after and went back in. I understand anyone would be thrilled to meet someone of my stature, but we failed to decide our next move in this conflict, or even if you want to take part in it at all."
The young detective had to resist the urge to facepalm "If you really have figured me out as you said, then you should have expected me to react that when you told me who you were. How are you even considered and HEROIC Spirit? You are pretty much evil incarnate, if what is known about you is true."
The man gasped and made a clearly fake hurt face as he replied "Master, you wound my hurt by saing that! I may own most of my fortune with my experties as a leader of a crimial syndacate, but I am first and foremost a getleman. I would never go back on my word!"
The raised eyebrow was all it took to convey how little the kid believed his Servant as he a knock on the door interrupted their conversation "Conan? Are you alright? I heard a scream."
"B-big sis Ran! It-" he looked at his servant for assistence, but he just shrugged as he went in spirit form again "-it...it was just a bad dream! I'm fine now!" he lied, hoping it would be enough.
"Do you want me to come in? We could talk about it and I could remain there untill you fall asleep again." offered the teen girl.
"No, no. It's fine I-" he didn't have time to continue as the door of his room opened, a Ran in her pijamas entering and sitting on the bed beside him.
What followed looked like an adorable and sweat scene, with Ran gently stroking Conan's air as she repeated that everything was alright and the bad dream was gone. On the other hand The boy couldn't be more embarassed if he tryed. Fortunatly he menaged to make a convincing impression of falling asleep so his surrogate Sister would just leave him alone after tukking him into bed.
He sighed after the door was closed once more "Tomorrow is Sunday, so I don't have school. I'll tell Ran and Kogoro that Doctor Agasa invited me to his house to se an experiment of his, we can discuss further there. He is a friend who helped me out a lot in the past, and still does."
"Oh? And who migth this 'Doctor' be? I hope it's a mad scientist! I love those, expecially that Jeckyll fellow! It's to bad his experiment backfired, I was actually intererested to use it and see how Holmes' darker side looked like!" joked Moriarty through their telepatic link.
(Off course he knows him to! Who else is real? Frankenstein's monster?) mused the boy as sleep finally took him over, unaware of what his Servant was thinking as he silently materialized back inside the room, picking up from the floor the book that depicted him as the anatagonist.
(Conan Edogawa, A kid with the mind of Sherlock Holmes, or at least the bases to become like him. Somehow I am sure this predicament is that damned detective's fault. He must have put a curse on me!) he rubbed his chin in thought (Although I am curious about the fake child act he is putting up. I hope it gives him some individuality, or I'll start to think he is some type of experiment of people trying to clone Holmes.) he snikered at the thought as he set on one of the chairs in the room, opened the novel and begun to read it to pass the time.
- ? -
Conan opened his eyes to find himself in complete darkness. It was a strange sensation. He clearly remembered going to sleep, so he either was ubducted again or he was dreaming. He discarded the first hypotesios, as he didn't feel tyied or restrained in any way, actually he didn't feel his body at all.
And so he remained there. In the complete darkness. Still, it somehow felt right to be there, like darkness was the only firnd he needed. That thought was what bothered him the most. It almost felt alien, like there was someone else inside his head with him.
His worried took a side focus as a bright light shone though that darkness. He had to close his eyes as he was enveloped in it.
When he reopened them he was standing in a room. It looked like a living room. No, a study! there was a desk on one end with a blackboard behind it, various mathematical equations wrote upon it. On the other end the wall was completely occupied by a library with hundreds of books about phisics, chemistry and philosophy. All around various shelves with misuring instruments or other books on it. In the middle of the room was a table with a chess board and two chairs, a man sitting on one of them. It didn't take long to recongnise him, the kid had just contracted him as his Servant after all.
James Moriarty sat on one end of the chessboard, dressed in a more simple looking dress, a black vest over it. Somehow Conan already knew that vest was a standard garment for the professor at the university he taught at. He seemed in thought about his next move in a game against a phantom opponent that wasn't there.
That is when another figure entered the room from a door near the bookshelf. A Young man, maybe around his twentys or thirtys, black hair, with a tint of dark blue in them, covered by a deerstalker hat. He removed the coat he was wearing, revealing a suit not so different from the one Moriarty was wearing under his robe.
"I hope I am not intruding" said the new arrival.
The older man chuckled as he looked up "No, I was just seeing if it is as they say. That you can't beat yourself to a game of chess if you always play to win. But it seems I have come to a stalemate, so I can spare some time for a visitor. Would you care for some tea or coffee?"
"No, thanks. But might I trouble you for an Inscription?" he asked as he took a book out of his jacket, offering to the older gentleman.
"Not at all." replied the Servant as he took the book from the stranger's hand. Once it was in his hands Conan could clearly see the title read 'The Dynamic of an Asteroid & Lecture Notes by Prof. James Moriarty'.
The Professor then stood up and approached his desk to grab a pen and sign the book, before coming back to find the man sitting opposite to where he was before. He gave the book back, receaving a "Thank you" from the stranger, before adding "Have you actually read the book?"
"I found it...compelling. Though I am primarly interested in your most recent endevors, mister Moriarty." responded the young man.
He resumed his position on the table "I take that as a compliment. I have the utmost regart for your opinion. It's a pleasure to finally meet you-" he paused and smirked at his enemy "-officially, Mister Holmes." he hold out his hand for the detective to shake.
The moment they did so the entire dreamscape seemed to rumble, as if an earth quake had struck the room, the two occupants seemingly unaware of this as Moriarty spoke the last sentence before the scene faded to black once more "Well, this game was beginning to bore me anyway. Would you care to join me for a quick match? I promise to make it worth your time?"
- The next morning -
A sleepy Conan yawned as he ate his breakfast, a simple bowl of milk with cereals, the images from last night still clear in his head (That was the most vivid dream I ever had. I am sure it wasn't like the first meeting between Holmes and Moriarty in the books. Did I imagine that? I can't rule out the possibility it was Moriarty himself that put that scene in my head. But why would he do that?)
"Hey kid, are you gonna eat your damn food or not?" came the annoyed voice of Kogoro from behind the newspaper he was reading.
"Uh, yes! Sorry, it's just that I just remembered Doctor Agasa said to call him this morning. He said maybe he had a new invention to show me. He told me it will blow my mind, not literally I hope!" laughed the young detective while doing his best happy-go-lucky kid impression.
"Don't be stupid, Brat! he may be a little excentric but he wouldn't do anything that armfull," he gulped loudly "I hope."
"This Agasa person seems more promising by the minute!" joked Archer throught their mental link.
Shortly after the phone rang as Ran stood up from the table and answered "Yes? Mori residence." the voice on the other side spoke for a minute before Ran called for the young detective "Sure, I'll get him right away. Conan! It's Ai!".
The boy raised an eyebrow and walked towards the phone, taking it from the teen's hands "Hey, Ai! I was about to call Doctor Agasa. You know, to talk about that 'Invention' he wanted to talk to me about" He tryed to subtly hint he had another motive.
"What did you do?" coldy stated the young girl "It was you wasn't it? Last night?"
The young detective blinked in confusion "I...You will have to be a little bit more specific."
She was about to speak again but was interrupted by a male voice he didn't recongnise "Oh?! Are you pehaps speaking with that Conan fellow you talked about? Am I Smelling the scent of a Romance in the air? Accomplices fighting together against the evil of this world while strugling with bodies not their own! However, as time goes on they develope feelings for each other! What a compelling premise! I should start writing the first act right away!"
"Can you just shut up for more than a minute!" screamed the girl.
"Who is that?" asked a concerned the young detective.
"The reason why I think you did something. Please tell me you didn't get me stuck in a magical fight to the death for a dubious reward." the exasperation in her voice was palpable.
His eyes widened as he looked around, relieved that Ran had join her father at the table in the other room "Ok, I may know something about it, but we can't talk about it right now. Let's meet at the Doctor's place in an hour, ok?"
The ex-scientist groaned loudly "Fine! But you better come quickly before I order this fool to kill himself!" she then hunged up the call.
"Well, it seems we have an ally in this conflict after all!" commented Archer in a jovial tone, while Conan rubbed his temples in frustration.
- a hour later: Agasa Residence -
Kogoro's car pulled up in front of the Doctor's home around ten. If Archer had to describe the building with one world it would be 'Modern'. The Circular shape of the two storey building distinguishing it form the other buildings on the street, although the professor seemed to have eye for older things too, if the Volkswagen Beetle in front of his garage was any indication.
The pair, although one was actually invisible, got off the vehicle and Conan made plans for his guardian to pick him up agan in the afternoon. As their transport drove off into the distance the boy spoke again "Ok, let's meet with this new Servant. Also, be prepared for a long scolding from Ai, which you will sit through too! I will not be alone in this!"
A chuckle resounded in his head "Your wish is my command, Master."
They approached the entrance, but stopped when they heard a female voice on the other side "What are you doing?!"
They didn't have time to argue on what it was as the front door slammed open "A horse, a horse! My kingdom for a horse!" screamed the man that stepped out of the building.
He was a middle-aged man with brown hair and a brown beard, wearing foppishly green suit in refined, Medieval-escque style, a brown cload placed on his left shoulder. He opened his arms whide, as if talking to an audience "Let us rejoice in this day as we begin our efforts in this war! This lowly Shakespear will make sure our quest is one for the ages!" he then proceded to bow and remain still, as if waiting for a horde of appaluse.
"Caster! Come back inside you Idiot!" yelled a very worn out-looking Ai Haibara as he came into view behind him, pulling at his clothes, the Command seals on her hand farely visible, it looked like a spear with two wing-like shapes at the sides "Your gonna catch the attention of all the neighbors!"
"Never the less I cannot help it! All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players! As such I have to behave accordingly! It is important to make a good first impression, my dear Master!" argued the Servant as he let the little girl drag him inside, all while the Detective and Evil mastermind, still in spirit form, watched incredulous, the former pacepalming and the latter laughing.
- some minutes later: inside the house -
It had taken a while to retain some samblance of sanity in the room as the young detective asked "So...Caster...William Shakespear?"
"Yes, Imagine My surprise when He appeared in the middle of my room while I was reading. After he told me about the Holy Grail War and how I could have summoned heroes form legend I asked myself: Why did this happen to me?" replied Ai "I could have gotten any famous mages. Merlin? Solomon? Paracelsus? Nicola Flamel? Instead I get stuck with this one!"
She pointed towards the Servant in question, who tryed to defend himself, always wearing an happy expression "Now-now, my dear Master! There is no need to be so upset! The other Casters may be more powerfull, but I am by far the most interesting one!"
"From my point of view I am actually thrilled to meet you, mister Shakespear!" spoke up Archer as he materialized "Would it be too personal if I called you William? I admit to not being the most well read in the field of Literature, as I prefer more logical subjects, but the few works I have come across really clicked with me. Macbeth never fails to put a smile on my face!" he held out his hand.
"Ah, no problem there! It is always a pleasure to meet a fan! Although Macbeth is supposed to be a tragedy, did you noticed that?" said the playwright, a confused look on his face as he shook the new arrival's hand.
"Oh, great! You've got one too? Who is he? Saber Mozart? Lancer Hans Christina Handersen?" groaned Ai.
The older gentleman looked at his Master for confirmation. When the boy nodded he smiled and approached the girl "Since your Servant was so kind to introduce himself immediatly, let me do the same." He kneeled in front of her, took her hand and kissed it on the back "Professor James Moriarty, Archer class Servant, at your service."
Her eyes widened as she looked at Conan, who clarified "Yeah, I had the same reaction." he shrugged "After speaking with him about the war I came at the conclusion that we have more pressing matters than his criminal record. Off course I am not as stupid as to trust him inconditionally with my life."
He expected another reprimand to come out of her mouth, but was surpirced to hear a soft giggle, the first sign of enjoyment coming from the girl all day "So, a scientist got one of the most illogical man in existance, while a detective got one of the worst criminals in history. I can't help it but find the irony in that."
Conan rolled his eyes, all while his Servant raised an eyebrow "A scientist? You are awfully young for that kind of profession."
"Ah! Yes, what an incredible tale that is!" esclaimend Caster before Ai could say anything "A dark and mysterious organization has their eyes on a talented young woman. Her parents were developing a powerfull toxin that the Organization wanted to deploy on their enemies." he twirled in place "So, she is forced to work for them, and when her usefullness has eneded they lock her away." he made a wimpering sound, as if he was crying, before smiling again.
"But she has a last chance! She could use the same toxin she helped create, as there exists a very rare chance of a side effect occuring instead of death of the target." he held our his arms towards her "The chance of the victim going through a metamorphosis and returning to his childwood body, mind still that of an adult." he made grandious gestures, as if addressing an invisible audience "And so the young girl fled, deciding to hide her identity and seek refuge together with another lost soul that met a similar fate. She begun a desperate chase, to find out who really is behind that Organization and, hopefully, bringing it down, before they found her again!" He bowed, thanking everyone for their inaudible applauses.
However no applauses came, instead the loud voice of a perplexed boy was heard "You told him everything? I thought you would be more discreet."
The other child just shrugged "I figured it would be faster if he was in the known. Also If I want I can just tell him to kill himself with a Command Seal."
"I already like this one." declared Archer before addressing his Master "So, Am I to deduce you have a similar tale up your sleeve?"
The boy sighed, resigned to his fate "More or less. I was one of those people the Organization used the toxin against. It was just luck I got shrunken down instead of dieing. My real name is Shinich Kudo, I am a seventeen-year old student that used to live in the house next door, that is how I know Doctor Agasa. The day I turned into a child I had overheard a conversation between two of the Organization's top hoperatives. They 'dealt with me' and shortly after he found me and decided to help me adjust to my new life and maybe find out who those people are."
"Seventeen? Better than a seven year old, I guess. Never the less I am sure the media called you with a catchy name like 'The High School Detective' or 'The Teen Holmes'!" joked Archer, seemingly not bothered by his Master lieing to him "But deciding to live with your girlfriend? I am not sure if it is sweet because you still wnat to be around her and protect her or stupid because you are basically putting her in the same path as the Organization."
"Wait, How did you-" begun the young detective before the older man interrupted him "Elementary, my dear Conan" he cringed slightly after he saing that before recomposing himself "One must simply watch your body language and glances you throw at young Ran whenever she is not looking. That and I may have seem a picture of you and her as children in her room last night. How she didn't notice you look exactly the same exept for the glasses, I'll never know" He notice the look of shock in the kid's face "What? I grew bored of watching you sleep so I wondered the house in spirit form. I didn't stick around in her room for more than a couple of minutes, if that's what you are worried about. I already told you I am a gentleman before anything else!"
Conan rubbed his temples in frustration and decided too change the topic "Where is doctor Agasa anyway? I Thought he would be here discussing with us."
"Oh! The good doctor has been locked inside his Laboratory since yesterday when I was summoned" clarified Caster "He seemed to have an epiphany the moment I explained what a Servant is. I must admit I am saddened I didn't get to converse with him that much. He apprears to be a brilliant man, going by the brief exchange we had."
As if hearing those words a loud crash came form another room. All the Master-Servant paires turned around to see a tired-looking Agasa stepping out of a previously locked door. He was a plump man, probably in his late fifties, grey hair growing in strange grupple shape behind his otherwise bald head. He was wearing a lab couat stained with oil and wrinckled in places. Under his bulbous nose his usually prim grey mustache had all his hairs in disarray, with one of his ends slightly fuming, and his round glasses had a small crach on the left lens "I've done it! I figured it out!" he exclaimed before noticing the guest's presence "Oh! Conan, I see you have arrived already! And who might this man with you be?"
"Watson! What are you doing here! Is Holmes around too?" Exclaimed Moriarty while frantically looked about the place "Quick, Master! Find some tomatoes to throw at him!"
"What?!" asked the young detective confused.
The same confusion could be seen on the inventor's face as he replied "I am sorry sir, but my name is Hiroshi Agasa. I do not know any Watson, outside of the character in the Sherlock Holmes books off course."
That made the Servant blink several times, taking in the doctor's appearance again "Are you sure you are not at least related? I swear a change of attire and a slight limp are all that you need. I would say Sherlock himself couldn't tell you apart, but he would probably pull some stupid detail out like how you have a slightly shorter pinky finger or something."
Everyone looked perplexed by the Servant statement, outisde of Caster who was chuchling, amused by his fellow Heroic Spirit's reaction.
"Well, I am sure I do not have any relatives in the England, if that is what you asked." said the doctor after recovering first, before norrowing his eyes "Wait a second." He rummaged through his coat and pulled out a strangely designed object. If Archer had to describe it in any way he would say it looked like a toaster on a handle with a beeping display and two antennas sticking out on the top.
The clearly sleepless man pointed it towards him, flipping a switch on the side "Master, should I be worried about my safety?" he asked using their mental link.
"Not really. I mean, I doubt whatever he is trying to do could hurt you." clarified the boy before adding in his mind (Probably).
The inventor took a step towards Archer as the device in his hands started to beep slowly. He took a couple of steps more and the machine's beeping intesified.
At this point the doctor rubbed his mustache in thought as he turned around, which made his invention stop his beeping. He then repeated the process with Caster, the same result happening. He proceded to pointed towards himself, no reaction whatsoever from the device, before doing the same thing to Conan and Ai, a low beep occuring when the device was pointed toward the Command Seals "I'll need to adjust the sensors and device a more easy to trasport version, but it seems to mostly work." he said quietly before he begun to mumble between himself.
"Doctor, what is that thing?" inquired Ai, trying to snap the man out of his trance.
"Uh? OH, right! I'm sorry I was so focused on this discovery that I forgot to explain myself" he clared his throat "You see, in the recent month I have been doing some research for a little side project of mine. Nothing of importace really. I just wanted to see if I could designe a more accurate way to predict the weather than the one the weather forecast uses."
The girl raised an eyebrow, hearing about this for the first time "Is it about that time you didn't bring an umbrella because they said it was going to be sunny al day and you returned home dripping wet from the rain?"
The imbarassed laughter coming form the doctor was all the answer she needed as he continued "Anyway, I positioned some temperature meters around town and was collecting data, when I noticed something strange. There seemed to be strange peaks around the same time every two or three days. I initially thought them to be some flukes in the sensors, as the increase was very small and they were never in the same place. But I still noted that, just in case." He gestured with his free hand towards the boy "Then Conan told us about the case he was working on, The one with the homeless men, and I noticed the estimated time of the murders coincided with the times I registered those anomalies."
The young detective could guess what came next "And just last night I registered the biggest peak, like the others only for a couple of seconds, but leaving a more lasting effect, as you can assest." he pointed towards Shakespear, who bowerd as if saying 'your welcome' "After Caster explained to me the concept of prana, or magical energy, and how summoning a Servant usually involves a ritual that uses that energy, I had a thought."
He begun pacing back and forth "What if, dispite all the unatural things it can do, prana still followed some of physic's base rules? Like the law of conservation of energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, just changes form. So part of the Prana used to summon the Servants is converted into heat, which was picked up by the sensors I placed."
(He can't possible mean what I think, right?) asked himself Archer as he begun to understand what he was saying.
"Off course Caster is not a walking heater, which means Servants can't be tracked by temeperature. Never the less, if the energy their bodies are made of follows the laws of phisics, it means that we should be able to measure it somehow." He stopped in his tracks, head hanged low "However, I couldn't do anything with the readings I had, since I didn't use advances measuring instruments. But I did not give up! Expecially when I remembered I had sensors advanced enough to use, right here in this house" he pointed a finger up, the others raising their gazes to see he was referring to the fire sprinklers "I installed more technological meters, so they could tell if the smoke comes form burned food or burning forniture." He rubbed the back of his head and smiled sheepishly "I wouldn't want another incident like that time I tryed to cook dinner for me and Ai."
He laghed loudly for a bit before resuming his serious tone "So, I connected with the sensors in the fire sprinklers and repurposed them to track various types of energy. It helped that a source of it was currently residing here. I tryied every Formula and Algorithm I could think of, I even started to make up some on the spot." He raised his device triumphant and struck and heroic pose "And eventually I found it! The right Formula to misure it! All I needed was to fashion a prototype of a tracker and here we are!"
Dispite having already undertood what he was going with, the shrunken teen and Archer had truble fully accepting it, as the latter spoke up "M-master? Did doctor Agasa just invent a way to track Magic?"
The kid gulped loudly "Y-yes, it seems he has."
"Wonderful! Incredible! Stupendous! I have been summoned amidst so many main characters! Ah, the possibilities! This should be the greatest tale known to men! I, William Shakespear, swear it here!" shouted Caster as he begun a resounding applause.
Somehow that statement didn't make Ai feel better as she shaked her head "At least he was doing something productive! You just annoyed me all night!"
"Mister Agasa, I must apologize. I will never compare you to Watson again. You have just jumped to the first place of my favourite Doctors list, you should feel honored!" added Moriarty as he patted the inventor on the back.
That was what Conan needed to snap out of his stupor "Ok, that is gonna be very usefull! Thank you Doctor! I think now that we are all here it's a good time for me to tell you what happened yesterday. I don't think I atually told everything even to Moriarty."
- In the meantime : unknown location -
A Really pissed Gin was currently holding the mage known as Kureiji Satsu by the neck "You told us it would work as planned! What was that you said? Ah, yes 'Don't worry too much. My calculations could never fail!'. If I am not mistake there should be seven Servants here right now, not just three!"
He threw the man on the ground and held up a small canister with a button on top "I give you one exact minute to tell me why we shouldn't kill you here and now!"
Vodka, who was right behind him, begun countin as he said that "60...59...58..."
"Well, I have to admit I had underestimated the possible outcomes of the ritual. But It did still work! I see this as an absolute success." tryed to joke the mage.
"Vodka?" asked the blond.
"30 seconds, Big Bro." answered the shorter man.
"Wait-wait!" He said, a more desperate expression on his face " We can still savage this! You got the Servant you wanted right? Didn't we consider the eventuality that the others wouldn't let yours be the last one and stopped their master's from useing their Command Seals? Didn't your boss make it so he would get the special boost he needed to beat the others? That Archer's master is just a kid that got swept up into something bigger than him!"
His assistant was about to hit the last five numbers when the Black Organization's top hoperative raised his hand to stop him "I guess you are right on that. It was unbecoming of me to act so harsh towards you. Expecially since you can still be usefull in tracking that kid you mentioned."
A drop of sweat run through the side of the mage's face "Well, actually. It might be a little more difficult to do it now. You see, after the ritual the atmosphere in the entire city is permeated with ambient mana, not a whole lot, but enough to interfere with a scrying spell. I could probably just narrow it down to him being in the North, West, East or South of the city."
A slight tick of Gin's right eye was the only thing the deraged man needed to understand as he darted away to his temporary workshop in the city, preparing for his spell.
"I would have bet on you killing that man, Master." said a male voice cloacked in the shadows.
"Believe me I am the last person who wants to have him around. However That Man ordered to leave him alive untill the War ends." responded the blond.
"I see you have loyalty by your side at least." sighed the figure "Although I have agreed working together is the fastes way towards my wish, I would have beheaded you otherwise."
"Yeah, with you and the other Servants by our side we should deal quickly with all those inconviniences." concluded the man as him and Vodka walked back to join the others for their first war meeting.
- end chapter -
Did you like the dream sequence. It is loosely inspired by their first meeting in the movie "Shelock Holmes: the game of shadows", but I made up my own conversation, for the most part. I'll probably take other inspirations form Sherlock Holmes media in general when addresing Archer's past, as I can't be asked to read back on the books to find Moriarty's lines.
I also hope nobody seemed too OOC in this one. I expecially felt I may be portraing Moriarty too much like a more cynical Holmes, instead of the evil mastermind that he is. Just know I am trying my best to stick to his character as much as possible, though I am quite happy of how Caster came out. I admit he is one of my favourite Servants in general. I just like how he basically just steals the scene whenever he is involved with anyone!
Anyway, we are almost done with the planning and I hope to get some action in one of the next chapters.
Untill Next time,
Bye!
