Yo! I'm back but like a day late lol. Anyways this chapter is kinda chill I'm rushing a little because I want to get to the Prov License Arc already so sorry if it's not as great as some of the other chapters. Anyways enjoy.

Yuudai plays with the strings on his borrowed hoodie, occasionally looking up to keep watch but mostly relying on his ears. There's a small part of him that wants him to feel guilty for helping a villain out but then again...he's done things like this before for fun. And it's not like they're kidnapping or killing anyone.

Footsteps…

Yuudai tugs on Toga's hoodie and she plops down next to Yuudai. She stuffs her hands in her pockets and actually looks like a regular kid if not for the slight blood stains on her cheek and clothes. A few minutes later a hero walks around the corner, probably a teacher on patrol.

Yuudai bites his lip as the teacher passes by them but as soon as they leave Toga stands back up to spy. He has the thought to ask her why they're spying on a random hero school but Yuudai keeps that to himself.

The sun sets and Toga begins walking to another area. Another slightly abandoned area. They stay there for the night.

This is a cycle that goes for a couple of days. The next time Toga tells him the date it's already the 22nd of August. Yuudai guesses that Toga just steals the food she brings and all they do together is play with Dabi's deck of cards and watch that hero school.

Sometimes Yuudai can't sleep so he finds out that Toga sleep mumbles. She also keeps a knife under her pillow, which Yuudai is actually okay with. He'd probably do the same if he had a knife.

A few times Toga talks about her old life and Yuudai returns with a couple tidbits about his life with his mom and dad. Nothing about U.A. though, he wouldn't want to accidentally give away information. For a brief minute Yuudai thinks about the more complex definitions of being a villain and hero but then drops it after it starts to give him a headache.

If Toga didn't identify as a villain and also wasn't super into hurting people, Yuudai thinks she'd be an okay friend to have. Maybe a common theme with villains. He tries not to think about it too much.

One morning, Yuudai wakes up and doesn't see Toga around. He does find a note tucked into his hoodie pocket.

'Hey you're still sleeping so I went on ahead. Feel free to get something to eat on the way here!'

Yuudai flips the note over and the back is blank. He sighs and dusts himself off. According to the very rusty, barely working clock on the wall it's almost noon. He checks the hoodie pocket and finds Dabi's stack of cards. He'll probably want them back...Yuudai sighs and tucks them back in the pocket.

Yuudai keeps his hoodie up, there's still some blood matting his hair and that's a question he doesn't have a very good answer to. Yuudai does his best to remember the way back to the hero school but eventually gets lost. He stumbles his way into a barber shop and tries to get the confidence to ask for directions.

"Sir?" The girl at the front desk looks in his direction.

Yuudai stumbles on his words, "Um-ah…"

"Suzume, leave the kid alone, he's probably just here for a haircut."

A gruff looking guy huffs from his station, he's holding a pair of scissors that look out of place in his hand.

He waves at Yuudai and pats the chair at his station.

"So kid, isn't today a school day?" He asks.

Yuudai bites his lip and sits in the chair.

"Not much for talking?" the guy hums, "That's alright."

"Boss, I don't think-"

"It's all good, Suzume," he reassures the girl, "we're not busy today."

Yuudai freezes to stop himself from flinching as hands run through his matted and bloody hair.

"My name's Iro," he fiddles with the blood clots in Yuudai's hair and then clicks his tongue.

He waves over Suzume who checks the gash closer. They mumble to each other and Yuudai makes a point to not listen in on their conversation.

Iro messes with Yuudai's hair again, "How'd you feel about an undercut, kid?"

Iro waits for Yuudai's reply but keeps a close eye on his body movements. Yuudai hadn't exactly waltzed into a barber shop wanting a haircut. He just wanted directions to the nearby hero school.

"Hey kid, do you want the free haircut or not?" Iro asks firmly.

Yuudai gives him a small nod. The blood was getting in the way and his hair needed a cut anyways.

Iro grins and sits Yuudai at the washing station. Almost all the blood washes out along with a lot of dirt and sweat. After that Iro takes some clippers and starts working around the wound on Yuudai's head.

Yuudai ends up drifting off at one point but he wakes up after a few seconds. Iro messes around with Yuudai's hair a bit more before asking if he can cut the top shorter too. Yuudai doesn't object and so his hair gets a little shorter on top.

After a few more minutes, Iro is done and Suzume walks in with a first aid kit. Yuudai flinches when she cleans the gash but it's nothing too bad. She went overboard with the head gauze though.

"You need something else, kid?" Iro asks as Yuudai pauses at the door.

"There's a hero school around here…"

"You mean Shiketsu?" Iro raises an eyebrow, "It's three blocks up that way." Iro points up the street, "Good luck with whatever you're doin', kid."

As Yuudai walks up the street, he can faintly hear Iro on the phone and Suzume chirping away. He hopes he's calling the police but it's probably just a client.

"Two notices," Aizawa mumbles as he shuffles through paperwork.

Yamada replaces Aizawa's mug of coffee for the fourth time that evening and sits next to him.

"At least we have somewhat of a lead," Yamada rubs Aizawa's shoulders as he hunches over, "I'm surprised they're all the way by Shiketsu, though."

Aizawa nods, then looks at Yamada, "Sorry, today's date night right?"

He smiles softly, "We can have next week. Focus on our students, the license exam is coming up soon, right?"

Aizawa nods, still going through security camera footage.

"Did you register everyone?"

"All of 1-A."

"Including-"

"All of 1-A," Aizawa repeats.

Yamada leans back, "Okay, so do you have some sort of plan?"

"Of course," Aizawa grumbles.

"But?"

"It's an only pro heroes scenario again," Aizawa sighs and runs a hand through his hair, "They're planning on sending scouts first then moving in. It'll take longer and might as well just give the League of Villains a chance to change locations again."

"What happened to the whole 'he can handle himself' attitude?" Yamada asks curiously.

"It's more complicated now. Kojiko's never been anywhere else in Japan. He's basically lost out there and I already know his sense of direction in new places is shit."

"That's…" Yamada pauses to find the right words, "not the best."

"And his phone was found at Kamino so we have no method of contact with him," Aizawa sighs again, "Kaminari mentioned the light up ring but only electric Quirks will help with that. The problem is that we don't know what the League of Villains wants with Shiketsu and with the Hero Commision wanting to keep this all quiet it's going to be difficult to get Yuudai back."

"I know you'll get him back, Sho."

"Nice haircut," Toga comments as Yuudai shuffles up the hill.

Yuudai scratches the back of his head, "It's shorter than I'm used to."

She smiles, "It looks good on you. I'm not a fan of the bandages though."

"I didn't think you would be."

Toga looks down at Yuudai, probably debating on if she should throw away the bandages but then goes back to looking at the students in the field.

Once it starts getting dark, they head back. Toga always leads the way, making a point to tease Yuudai on his terrible sense of direction. This time when they return back to the old house, Mr. Compress is leaning on the front door.

"Took you long enough," Mr. Compress notes, "Run into any trouble?"

"Nope!" Toga chirps, "How about you?"

Mr. Compress glances Yuudai, "We'll talk about it later."

Yuudai leaves the two of them alone in the main room and goes to the backyard where there's only dead leaves and dirt. He can feel Compress' eyes on him at all times. He guesses that Compress doesn't want to lose their one hostage. Though Toga was nice, she seems more like a weird classmate than a villain. Kinda.

Yuudai does his best to not listen in on the conversation but there's not much else to do so he finds himself listening anyways. They talk about some sort of infiltration, something involving Shiketsu High and some other organization. He can't follow the conversation too well. Yuudai falls asleep on the back steps, listening to Toga and Compress argue about the reliability of Toga's tactics.
