Resolve was looking back at the girl who was chasing him in a car with robots following. The robots looked like metal armadillos.and were rolling to keep up. He charged up his hook and saw 2 come straight at him. He sliced the 2 right in half while driving the motorcycle. 3 more came in and Resolve sliced them as well.
"You know you should try harder!" yelled Resolve. The girl looked at him and pushed the gas forward and the car went right next to him. 3 more robots came in, but they were a lot faster. One cut Resolve's arm while the other 2 hit the bike. Resolve shot energy at the 3 and destroyed them all. The girl pulled out her rifle and shot at him in the same wound. Resolve winced and started to get pissed off. The girl floored it and went right in front of him. She stepped on the gas and brake and did a 360 while moving forward and the car slammed Resolve's bike. The bike blew up behind her and she laughed, thinking she had won.
Meanwhile Resolve was on top of the car and didn't move a muscle. The robots didn't notice him for some reason and he decided to stay silent till the car stopped. It was about an hour till they reached their destination and it was almost pitch black out. They arrived at a worn down warehouse and the girl got out of the car. Resolve still stayed hidden as the girl walked inside. Resolve carefully got off the car and went inside to try and listen to the conversation. He hid behind a wall and saw the girl walk into an open room with 2 other girls sitting at a table. The girl on the left had glasses. a while business dress, and purple heels. The person on the right had sports tape all over her and wore a blue vest with blue sweatpants and grey high tops. He decided to listen in on the conversation.
"So did you take care of him?" the girl in the dress asked.
"Yes I did Mrs. Jennifer Walters." replied the girl he had been with
"Well great work A.A!" the sports tape girl said.
"Heh it was nothing Kuno!" replied A.A "Thar dumbass was too stupid. I just hope the boss Drift is proud."
"So the girl in the dress is Jennifer Walters, the girl I was with is A.A, and the sports tape girl is Kuno." Resolve thought to himself. "They work for Drift too! They're definitely trouble."
"So what are you waiting for? Where's the emerald?" asked Kuno
A.A looked on her phone to see Drift text her. "The boss texted me, he just said he got it. He's asking about Resolve."
"Well tell him it was a success!" said Jennifer.
"About that, he wants 2 people to confirm it. Me and Jennifer will go while you stay Kuno and guard the place." said A.A
"Fine. I better get paid." replied Kuno. The 2 girls walked out while Kuno sat there. Resolve decided now was the time to attack.
"Heh, I can see you dumbass." said Kuno looking right at Resolve. Resolve got up and heard the car go away. Kuno got up and said "I'll admit, you're slick, but there is no way you'll beat me!" She threw 2 knifes at Resolve. Resolce caught both and threw them back at Kuno just missing her and cutting some of the sports tape. She darted left and threw 3 while Resolve didn't look. They all stabbed Resolve in the leg and he fell to the ground. She walked up to him.
"Like I said, no way to be-" she stopped as Resolve teleported behind her and stabbed her in the heart. She fell to the ground. She was definetly dead.
"I'm lucky I had enough time to stop time. Otherwise I would've been fucked." he held his leg and decided to limp back to town.
He had been walking for 10 minutes. Everything hurted. He was about to pass out when he saw a car. Inside that car was Catalyst in the passenger seat, Tails driving, and Sonic in the back. He waved his hand to tell them it was him. Tails slammed the brakes and got out of the car with Catalyst and Sonic. Resolve smiled at them and then instantly passed out.
"Oh shit he's beat!" said Sonic
"We need to get him home to check him." said Tails. The 3 got back in and Tails floored the gas as the car went back to the house. Resolve laid there next to Sonic, barely alive.
