The 4 arrived at the house and took Resolve out of the car and dragged him inside. They laid him on tbe couch and Tails checked him out.

"Well he has 3 stab wounds in his leg, a cut in his arm, and a bullet in his hand." said Tails.

"So will he be alright?" asked Catalyst

"Not for a while. He'll have to rest for a few weeks. I mean look at the kid! He looks like a fucking peeled open grape!"

"So that only leaves us 3." said Sonic.

"I guess. Once he wakes up I'll try to get him to explain everything." said Tails. "For now, we need to find the 3rd emerald. We have one, but so does Drift."

"I'll go find it." said Catalyst.

"You sure? You're still learning your abilities and I'm worried you'll end up like Resolve." said Sonic

"Hey, you 2 need to check on him cause you can treat his wounds and you were there at the fight. I might as well go get it."

"Well where do you think it is?" asked Tails

"Based on what I feel, about 20 miles east." said Catalyst

"You sure you want to get it?" asked Sonic

"Certain."

"Well try to not wreck the car this time." Tails said as he winked at her.

"*sigh* alright. I'm not making any promises though." replied Catalyst. She walked out the door and got in. "Looks like this'll take 10 minutes to get there. Unless I run into someone." She got in the car and turned on the engine. She pulled the car out and slammed the gas. The car went off into the distance while Sonic and Tails checked Resolve. He was still breathing, but barely.

Meanwhile Jennifer and A.A were checking out the wreck. They tried to find any trace of Resolve but there was none there. They were about to get back in the car when Jennifer noticed something on top of the car by the driver's seat. There was a hole in the roof.

"A.A you don't think he survived did he?" asked Jennifer

"What makes you say that?" asked A.A. She then noticed the hook mark at the top. "Oh shit. Wait Kuno! We need to see if she's ok!" as the sun finally set, Jennifer got in the driver's seat with A.A in the passenger. Jennifer floored it and the car went straight to the warehouse. The 2 arrived and checked to see if Kuno was alright. Once they went inside they saw Kuno. It wasn't good though. She was on the ground with a hole in her chest, completely motionless. There was no doubt about it, she was dead.

"That fuckhead Resolve killed her!" shouted Jennifer.

"But how did he survive?!" asked A.A

"He must've grabbed the car as the bike exploded. I'm going to go after the 3rd emerald. I'm sure Resolve is badly hurt or even dead but one of the others might go for it."

"I'll bury Kuno. Make sure you kill every last one of them." said A.A. Jennifer nodded and headed to the car. A.A dug a hole in the back of the warehouse and buried Kuno. Meanwhile Jennifer started the engine and pressed the gas. She sped out into the country as she looked for the 3rd emerald. What she didn't notice, was that there was a car right behind her, and inside that car was Catalyst. Catalyst noticed the car going in the exact direction of the emerald and followed. Jennifer looked at her rear view mirror and saw a car following her. She looked back at the open area and sped up. Catalyst did the same.

"What the hell is this girl doing?" asked Catalyst to herself. She then noticed a small sticker on the back of the car. It said: "PROEPRTY OF JENNIFER WALTERS" she realized that this person was one if the 3 who worked for Drift. She floored the gas and rammed into the back of Jennifer's car. Jennifer felt impact and looked behind her to see Catalyst driving. She knew it was one of the 4 she was after. Jennifer sped up and went faster towards the emerald. Catalyst sped up as well and shot some energy again that dented the car and barely missed Jennifer. Jennifer pulled out a blue pistol and shot out a blast of chaos energy at catalyst. Catalyst turned the car and dodged. She slammed the brake and gas and did a 360 as the car slammed into Jennifer Walter's. Jennifer's car spun round and round and she couldn't control it. She stepped on the brakes and the car came to a stop with Catalyst speeding right passed it. Jennifer looked at Catalyst and laughed. She knew she would be tough, but not impossible to beat. Her heels floored the gas and she went right after Catalyst again. It wasn't over till one would die.
