so i beefed- last chapter, Percy DOESN'T have a gun going into his apartment in the beginning. I'm really sorry about that, I made the change a bit late and forgot about that part. My bad.
enjoy this though. Percabeth fluff.
It was another day, and Percy was working.
"Where the fuck is Hercules?" Percy said, as he had his elbow on some guy's throat.
"Fuck you!" The guy spat, and some of it landed on Percy's face. He let go of the guy, held up his pistol and shot him twice in the head. He continued through the safehouse that was linked to Hercules, before he walked in a room and a man in a suit stood, looking at a bulletin board.
"He's at the Purple club on 32nd. Bathhouse in the lower levels. Get there quick." The man said, not turning to Percy.
"Thank you." Percy said, and ran out the room, leaving the man to his peace.

"Come to the club Annabeeeeth… It'll be so much fun! I'll even invite Ethan, that guy you said was cute like a week ago?" Thalia begged. Annabeth shook her head.
"Too much homework."
"You say that every night!" Thalia groaned, and Annabeth smiled. "I heard Percy was going to be there…" Thalia led off. Annabeth's blood ran cold.
"And? Why should I care?"
"Maybe he'll dance with you… Maybe I can set you two up for something…" Annabeth rolled her eyes. Thalia huffed.
"I'll buy you food?"
"Deal."

Percy walked to the club, beating a man to death on the way to sneaking in the back. He walked through the staff section, his suit blending in with that of the security and the workers. He made his way through the main dancefloor, where women and men danced with one another as if there was no tomorrow. He got sweat on his jacket, and it annoyed him.
His wrist was caught by someone and his head flicked, ready to shoot whoever grabbed him, but he was caught.
His eyes were met with those of the same gray that he'd seen at Kreugers. The eyes that pierced right through his. His gaze softened, and he put his pistol on his hip. She looks him up and down, and Percy twirls her into his grasp.
"Are you here on business?" She whispered.
"Define business." he whispered in her ear. He felt her shivers.
"You know what I mean." she whispered back, and Percy smirked.
"Unfortunately." Percy said, and she released from his grasp, and she spun away from him, until she stopped, meeting his gaze once again. She walked towards him, turning her head. Percy groaned. This woman was the biggest tease he'd ever met, and they met like, a week ago.
"What's your name?" He whispered, and she giggled.
"Names are for special people."
"And I'm not? Offensive." He said, smirking down at her.
"You haven't shown me that you're special yet."
"and how can I do that?" He asked, his voice low.
"I can think of some ways." She bit her lip.
"Will your father approve of these ways?" He asked, and she turned, backing into him. Percy sucked down a groan.
"I'm too drunk to think what my father approves of." Percy let out an 'mmph' and the girl smirked. She knew she had him around her finger.
"Meet me outside in forty. I'll either be there or dead. I'll show you why I want to know your name." He said, and he let go of her, before she tugged on his arm, and he turned back to her.
"Don't have too much mercy, Perseus Jackson." He smirked at her.

Percy walked to a door, which he presumed lead to the basement, and nodded to the security guard, who didn't bat an eye at him. At least some people still knew not to test him. He opened the door, and walked through, and was met with stairs, leading into a bigger room, where it was moist. Percy was where he wanted to be. Calm music was blasting in the background, and Percy descended down the stairs. To his right was a massive pool, with people swimming and laughing, and bottles of alcohol being passed around. Percy kept walking, and he started to take notice of security.
He didn't want Hercules dead, just the location of his car. Then, he might kill him. There were two big guys standing at opposite ends of the pool, and Percy was pretty sure he saw a third casually walking around the perimeter. He kept walking, reaching the ground level, where his suspicions were confirmed, as Percy and the lone guard crossed paths, Percy hit the guy in the head with his pistol, and he dropped like a sack of potatoes, with little to no noise made. There were pillars on the outer sides of the pool, and Percy used them to hide, making sure these two guards were the only ones left. He was correct. He crept up behind one, and put the guard into a choke hold, shooting the other guard on the opposite side of the pool in the head. The guard fell into the pool, and people started screaming, running to get out. Percy shot the guard he was holding in the head, and the door to the stairs opened, and the man running down blindfired at Percy, missing, and Percy ducked behind a pillar, peeking, shooting, and killing the fourth. Percy recklessly walked to the edge of the pool, where there were still a good twelve people in it.
"Which one of you fuckers is Hercules?" he said, holding them at gunpoint.

Annabeth knew that he'd gotten where he wanted to go when she heard screaming and she saw the guy that just went into the back room drop dead, falling down the stairs head first. She rolled her eyes, and returned her attention to her drink that she was sipping at the bar. Thalia tapped her on the shoulder.
"Are you just going to sit there? Or are you going to have fuuuun…" Thalia teased. Annabeth smirked.
"I'm waiting."
"For who?"
"You know who I'm waiting for." Annabeth said. Thalia rolled her eyes.
"You are NOT trying to hook up with Mr. Assassin."
"Not a hookup, I just want to get to know him." Annabeth smiled. "I'm just a very hands-on learner."

A man that was at least six-foot-five and bigger than anyone he'd seen before raised his hand.
"That's me." He said, a little shakily.
"For each person that pulls a gun on me, two of you little rascals are losing your lives." Percy spit. "A black 60's mustang. You bought it approximately fifty hours ago. Where is it?" Percy said, glaring at Hercules, his hands remaining calm.
"Why do you want to know?"
"It was my car." Hercules rolled his eyes.
"And why should I be scared of you?" Percy growled, and shot one of the guys in the eye, who screamed, and sunk into the pool. The red of the blood stained the water.
"If I wanted you dead, you'd be dead. That car was stolen from me by Andreas Chase, some fucking idiot kid who'd never heard of me." Percy said, still glaring at Hercules.
Percy was grabbed from behind, by someone not strong, and Percy ducked, picking them up onto his back, flipping them into the pool. Percy shot twice where their body was. He unloaded his magazine, it fell into the pool, and he reloaded from one of the belt clips, returning to holding them at gunpoint.
"The rest of you, leave. Now. I just want to chat with Hercules here." Percy said, smiling morbidly, and the ten others who were in the pool swam their hardest and ran their hardest out of his sight. Percy sighed, and holstered his gun.
"Where's my car, Hercules?" Percy said. And the man before him stayed calm, floating in the water.
"I gave it to my dad as a gift. He had no idea it was yours, neither did I." Percy groaned. "I'm pretty sure if you ask-"
"We're beyond asking, Hercules."
"And yet, for some reason, you're back in work, Perseus." Hercules smirked.
"When you wake the sleeping bear, what can I say? One last job to get my car back can't be the worst of it." Percy said, and Hercules laughed.
"I thought I'd never meet the great Perseus Jackson, yet here we are." Hercules said.
"Not that great. Now get out of that damn pool. Too much blood." Percy said, and Hercules wafted towards the ladder, and climbed out.
"Glad I didn't have to kill you, Hercules." Percy said, and Hercules almost cringed at the possibility. Percy walked up the stairs, and looked back down at Hercules.
"You're Zeus's kid, right?"
"Yeah?" Hercules said, questioning.
"Sorry 'bout this." And Percy whipped out his gun and shot Hercules twice in the chest.
"No suspicion."

Annabeth was halfway done with her Martini when he walked out of the backroom. She got up, and Thalia caught her wrist, eyeing her, but Annabeth shook her off.
"Where are you going?"
"I'll be home tomorrow." Annabeth said back, and she left a twenty on the table, and caught him mid-stride, and they walked to the entrance together.
"Do you come here often?" he started, and he opened the door for her, and they walked out.
"Someone told me I might find you here, and you know I can't pass up an opportunity to meet the great Perseus Jackson." She said, smirking up at him, and he rolled his eyes.
"Am I that easy to track?"
"We're more connected than you realize." She said.
"Should I be worried about that?"
"Possibly. Do you find me threatening?"
"Quite the opposite." He said, smiling down at her, and he hailed a cab. Percy opened the door for her, and she sat in the car.
"Eight East 62nd street, please." Percy said, and the cab nodded.
"Yes, Perseus." Percy flicked closed the privacy window, and Annabeth leaned on him, her head falling into his neck, and he wrapped his arm around her.
"What is it with you…" He asked, and she looked up at him.
"Elaborate."
"I don't even know your name, yet you're so intoxicating." He said, and she smiled.
"Maybe I put a spell on you, Perseus." she whispered. "What are you doing for work, then?" She continued.
"I've made enough money to last me lifetimes. I just need my car back. You?"
"College student." Percy chuckled, and she jokingly slapped his arm. "Don't make fun of me for it. Tell me about your past." She said, and he frowned.
"What are you trying to get out of me?"
"I just want to solve the great mystery that is Perseus Jackson. So many legends, so many stories, yet who really knows you?"
X
He was beginning to think that she did put a spell on him. Every word she spoke, every action, made him want to melt into her and drop everything for her at that moment.
"Nobody knows me." He responded quietly. "Are you trying to be the first?" She smiled.
"Am I wrong for doing so?"
"Depends who you ask." Percy said, smirking down at where she was, leaning into him, almost cuddling.
"Do you think I'm wrong for that?"
"I think I've got time to open up a bit." Percy said, and she giggled, leaning up to him, and kissing him. Percy swore there was a shock between them, and he wrapped his arms around her waist. She turned over, sitting on his leg, and her hands ran up and down his chest. She felt so good in his arms, in his embrace. Everything about it felt right- something Percy had never felt before.
It was interrupted by a knock on the glass, and the woman groaned, and Percy pulled open the glass.
"We're here, sir."
"Thank you." Percy said, tipping the guy a 20, and she got off him. Percy opened the door, and offered his hand.
"You live here?"
"Something along those lines."
"My father told me you were wealthy, but gods, this is like five feet from Central Park." she gasped, and Percy smirked.
"People like you deserve the best, so I'm giving you that." Percy unlocked the door, and they entered. He locked it behind them, and she was looking around.
"The architecture…" she said, before Percy grabbed her wrist and brought her back to him, and once again, that ethereal feeling of her in his grasp. He swore he'd never get over it.
"I think I'm catching some feelings." He whispered, and she giggled.
"My spell seems to be working."
"It'll always amaze me how you're related to your father and your brother. Someone so perfect." she smirked.
"Nobody's perfect." She said, as she grabbed his wrist, and led him forward.
"I still don't know your name." Percy flipped them, so he was leading.
"Mmmm. I don't think you've shown me you're worth such valuable information." she smirked at him.
"Let me prove it to you then." he said, and he opened the double-doors to the bedroom, where he quickly got rid of his suit jacket, and his tie. He sat down on the bed, and she climbed on top of him. She kissed him, and arched her back so her chest was rubbing his. His mouth went from hers, to her neck, to her jaw, to her collarbone. He flicked off a strap of her dress, so it fell to her shoulder. His thumb ran over her breast, and she moaned.
"I think I'm falling for you too, Perseus." He growled.
"I'd admit feelings if I knew your name." She giggled, and forced him to look at her.
"Annabeth."
He heard the footstep, and he threw Annabeth off him, onto the bed, raised his Glock-19, and shot the guy dead in the doorway. He stood immediately, and ran to close the door. He checked his magazine, before slowly reopening the double doors, and peeking. He saw nothing at first, but looked back to Annabeth who's eyes were wide, and her breathing was heavy. He held up his fingers to his lips, as 'hush,' before looking again, and killing someone who was hiding behind a pillar. He looked to his left, and someone charged him, catching him by surprise, and tackling him in the bedroom. The man was much stronger than Percy.
Percy hit the guy twice in the head with his gun, and the guy tried to pick him up, but Percy flipped over the guy's head, so he stood behind him, and Percy kicked the man in his jewels, before reaching his arm down there, the other on his shoulder, and flipping him, and he landed with a large 'thud.' Percy grabbed his arm, ready to shoot, but flicked his gun upwards, killing someone else who tried to enter through the doorway. Percy looked back down, and killed the man under him. He listened for a minute, and heard nothing. He looked to Annabeth, who was still wide-eyed.
"Sorry about that." He said, standing. He had a little blood on his shirt, but nothing crazy. He stretched, and cracked his back, and smiled at Annabeth, who shook her head, but chuckled.
"Do you to go somewhere else?" he asked her, and she nodded rather violently. He brought out his phone, and dialed a number.
"Perseus! My boy, how can we be assistance of tonight?" Percy heard, as he reached down, and checked the suit of the man he just killed.
"Need cleaning service. Eighth East 62nd street."
"On our way."

Annabeth got why her father was scared of this man. He'd just killed those four dudes like it was nobody's business. But she did admit, everything before that was rather- nice. Thalia told her he'd be at that club yesterday, and Annabeth is not a person to party, but she really wanted to know this guy, and so she creepily followed.
Everything he did seemed effortless, and everything he did made him more attractive.
They were in another cab, this time to the southwest side of Central Park, where she presumed he owned more property. She was right.
This time, it was a penthouse, not a hundred-million dollar townhome. This was just north of Columbus Circle, and it was a beautiful place, that overlooked the park itself. The architecture was more modern, as the first one was a 1900's Beaux-Art style. She was pretty sure this penthouse had a pool. Not to mention, it was atop the 15 Central Park West building, one of the most iconic residential buildings in the world.
"How much did this cost you?" She said, breathlessly, as she walked through the living room and kitchen.
"Enough." He said. She looked back to him.
"Are you okay?" She asked. He nodded, smiling slightly, walking up to her and wrapping his arms around her waist. She leaned up and kissed him, and he smiled into it, picking her up. Annabeth let out an uncharacteristic squeal as he carried her to the bedroom, where he set her down and undid his belt, before starting to undo the buttons on his shirt. Annabeth's breath hitched, and her eyes widened.
"Percy… I'm not one to-" He hushed her, and smiled.
"Don't worry, I'm too tired for that. Long night, you could say." He said, and she nodded. He took his shirt off, and though it was dark, she could outline and see his built frame, his abs. Everything she'd dreamed of. He stared at her, before turning, and opening a drawer in the wall, and pulling out a t-shirt, tossing it to her, and keeping his back to her.
"Are you alright?"
"Are you going to change?" He responded, and Annabeth realized, and smiled a bit. He wasn't a complete psychopath. She changed, and he got into the bed, and they spooned, and Annabeth had never felt so right and comfortable before. Something about Percy made her feel safe, confident. Nobody has had this effect on her before.
X
The fact that she stayed with him after that was beyond Percy, but he wasn't complaining. And he was a little disappointed when he woke up, she wasn't beside him. He stood up from the bed, and his back was really sore. It's hard not to be when you haven't taken hits like he did last night in a while.
But he was nothing but satisfied when he walked into the kitchen, and she was making eggs, only in his shirt. He walked up behind her and hugged her.
"Good morning." he whispered in her ear. She smiled visibly, and looked up at him, kissing his cheek.
"Do you have to be anywhere today?" He asked, still quiet. She nodded.
"College student. Classes and stuff." He groaned. "Are you this comfortable with every woman that you near-hook up with?" She asked, giggling. He rolled his eyes.
"No, you're just easy to be around, and I enjoy your company more than you realize." he grumbled, and she blushed. Percy smiled, "Are you this comfortable with guys you near-hook up with?" Annabeth turned away from him.
"I-uh," She started, "haven't dated anyone seriously since like…" she rubbed the back of her head, "sophomore year of high school? I haven't even…" His jaw dropped.
"You're this beautiful and… holy shit," Percy laughed, and Annabeth smacked his arm.
"Don't make fun of me for it. I hadn't met that guy yet." Annabeth said, putting the scrambled eggs on a plate. Percy smirked at her.
"Hadn't?" He suggested, and she blushed. "Elaborate, Miss Chase." He said, and they walked to the dining table that was next to the kitchen.
"I don't want to." She grumbled, looking down. Percy laughed.
