Eddie, Buck and the doctor had talked for almost 90 minutes, before ending the conversation with Buck being allowed to go home, as long as he weren't alone and with a prescription for some pills for his anxiety and insomnia, and to come back if he started feeling worse again, but otherwise they would meet up in a couple of days to see how he was doing, the doctor said that maybe ones he actually got some sleep and his anxiety calmed down a bit, he would start to feel better, and definitely being around people who loves him, even though Buck doubted that anyone but Maddie cared about him, and after today, maybe Maddie had had enough of him to, but Eddie quickly rejected that idea, and told him that he was being silly if he taught that there weren't anyone who cared about him, he had his entire 118 family, this caused Buck to have a panic attack, and it took both Eddie and the doctor several minutes to calm him down a little bit again, and this was how the entire conversation went, every time either the doctor or Eddie mentioned the 118 or how much they all loved and cared about Buck and just wished for him to get better, he broke down having severe panic attacks, which was why the conversation ended up being so long.

When they got out to the hallway, ready to leave the hospital, Buck wondered if Maddie was still there, or if Eddie was gonna drop him off at her place when they left, but as soon as they reached the waiting room, they were greeted by everyone.

Christopher came wobbling over to give Buck a big hug before saying: "Did daddy and the doctor help you wake up?". First both Buck and Eddie looked puzzled at Christopher who explained: "So you no longer have your nightmare and all the bad and scary thoughts".

Buck started crying, picking up Christopher and hugging him tight: "Nobody, but you just helped a lot". All the adults looked shocked at Buck, this being the first they had heard him say since the texts and finding him, well except for Eddie, but he also looked shocked having just spend 90 minutes with Buck and the doctor, Buck just being all hopeless and self critic, and then seeing him now, holding Chris, hugging him, actually giving some indication of hope a space to live. Denny just ran to Buck while the grownups stood completely lost for words, before Hen or Karen had time to react and stop him, stopping just in front of Buck.

"Can I also give you my best get well hug like Chris?". Buck fell to his knees, Christopher still in his arms, crying even stronger while bringing Denny in for a hug as well.

"Thank you. Both of you helped me wake up" he said. For a long time all three of them just sat there on the floor crying, until Hen and Karen came and took the boys, Eddie and Chimney helping a sobbing Buck back on his feet, while Athena and Bobby quickly sent away the worried nurses, doctors and bystanders coming to assist if necessary, Maddie just stood and watched, unaware of how to help or what to do of herself.

Once the situation was under control again, and Buck stopped crying, Bobby suggested that they all relocated outside of the hospital, possibly back at the 118, at hearing that Buck started tearing up again, panicking that they were all just gonna leave him, but Eddie was quick to so: "he means you to silly", and that calmed him down a little, though the feeling of unease didn't leave completely, he feld Eddie grab his hand and heard him whisper for only Buck to hear: "Your staying with me tonight Buckaroo, don't think you'll get rid off me that easily" with made Buck smile a little, feeling some of the tension leaving his body.

They all left the hospital, Karen took the boys home, figuring they had had enough adventure for a whole year and everyone laughed at that, but no one corrected her, and the boys didn't complain or try to convince her otherwise, they just waved at Buck and the others while leaving with Karen. Chimney and Hen took the ambulance, Athena had her police cruiser and Maddie had her own car, she offered to drive by the farmacy on her way to the station and get Buck's prescriptions filled, which Eddie thanked her for before Buck had time to say otherwise. So Maddie left in her car leaving Bobby, Eddie and Buck standing at the hospital parking lot.

"Well I guess it will just be the three of us in the truck then" Cap said jokingly. Buck looked at him with wide fearful eyes, about to have another panic attack, but Eddie grabbed his hand and started dragging him towards where the firetruck was parked.

"Come on Buck, it's not gonna crush you, I promise". Buck stopped and looked at Eddie, who was laughing at him, "what to soon?" Eddie asked while winking, making Buck feel a little more relaxed again, but still hesitant to step into the truck, but did so in the end anyway.

Once parked and inside the 118 Buck started to feel the full realisation of everything that had happened today, and what he had done, or about to do was probably better putting it, and he felt drained of energy and completely overwhelmed by it all, and by being back at the 118, this was more than he could take, and he collapsed on the floor once they got out of the truck.

He woke a few seconds later to the worried faces of everyone there, Eddie kneeling down behind him, while Hen and Chimney once again started examining him, asking him questions as to where he was and what was his name and such, Athena and Bobby rapidly discussed if this had been to much, if they should bring him back to the hospital maybe. This woke Buck up immediately, and he jumped up almost ready to fight anyone who dared come near him, backing further into the room, all the medical equipment still attached to him, making him look a little funny when he almost fell in one of the wires coming from some of the equipment, the blood pressure cuff maybe, he didn't care, they weren't gonna take him away again, he was ready to fight to stay at the 118, literally.

Once again it was Eddie who got him to calm down, telling him that no one was gonna force him out, and that they were all just worried because he passed out, and to come and sit down and then they could all talk about it. They hadn't gotten the situation completely back under control, when Maddie walked in, Bucks medication i one hand, and froze when seeing how scared and work up Buck had become in the 30 minutes maybe that had passed since she left him, Eddie and Bobby on the hospital parking lot, thrusting Eddie and Bobby to take care of Evan while she went and got his medication. And here he was, completely worked up and scared over something, looking all dangerous, and was that a blood pressure cuff she could see hanging around his arm, dangling and looking like it might trip him at some point.

"What the hell is going on here" she yelled running over while continuing: "I leave for 30 minutes to go and get his prescriptions filled, comes back and sees my brother frightened, with a blood pressure cuff dangling from his arm, looking like it's gonna trip him soon". At the last bit Chimney laughed and Maddie turned with a killer gaze in her eyes shutting him up. "And what's so funny about that I may ask, you may be cute Howie, but don't think for a second I won't smack you one over the head if you had anything to do about my brother being worked up and afraid", she turned to look back at Buck again. "It's ok Evan. I'm here now. Everything is going to be alright now", she looked around the room, ready fury in her eyes, almost daring anybody who was gonna say something.

Athena sighted: "If it ain't the one Buckley it's the other".

"What did you say?" Maddie continued to rage, now going for Athena. "You're blaming my brother for all this, is that what you're saying?".

Buck, sensing where this was going, forgot all about the hospital and consequences and being calm. He changed his stand in the room, now standing between Maddie and the rest of the people in the room, protective of his older sister, not to begin with realizing who it is he is protecting her from. Athena was starting to get tired of this game, threatening to put anyone in handcuffs who didn't calm down immediately, starting with the Buckley siblings, witch didn't get either Maddie or Buck to calm down, now almost fighting each other on who was gonna protect who, Hen and Chimney had to leave the room, having a very hard time not to laugh at how ridiculous a twist this situation had suddenly taken. Bobby was trying to calm down Athena, while Eddie was working hard with the pair of Burkley's.

"Come on you two, look around, no one is gonna harm you, so stop fighting over who is gonna protect who" Eddie yelled at them in desperation, hearing how Chimney and Hen couldn't hold in their laugh in the room next door at that comment. Buck and Maddie both stopped what they were doing to turn and look at Eddie. "What's that supposed to mean. We're not fighting" they both said simultaneously, both sounded very offencive and annoyed at his accusation, causing Hen and Chimney to laugh even harder, but the Buckley's didn't notice. "Okay. Forget I said anything then" Eddie said smiling, working hard on not starting to laugh himself. Bobby had taken Athena up the stairs to calm her down, and from the sound of their quiet conversation upstairs, it sounded like he had succeeded in doing so. That's when Maddie and Buck actually look around the room, noticing that it was only Eddie and them left. "Where did everyone go?" Buck asked a little surprised and worried at the same time, thinking to himself that he had chased them away and they wouldn't forgive him, starting ever so slightly to feel the panic rise again. Eddie noting Buck's panic. "Well if you are done fainting", he looked at Buck with a glint of joking in his voice, "and you two are done not fighting", he looked at the both of them now, definitely amused and joking, "what do you say we free you Buck from all this equipment and go find them, sitting down for a talk before heading home for a good night's rest maybe?" he started removing all the medical stuff Buck was wearing.

"You fainted?" Maddie said shocked, now looking at Buck, tears forming in her eyes.

Sensing a possible escalating new situation Eddie called out: "Chimney could you possibly come follow Maddie upstairs and help her prepare Buck's medication, while I finish free Buck from all these wires and stuff you put on him?". Chimney already came into the room before Eddie was finished asking his question, trying hard to strangle another laugh.

"Come on Maddie, let's get upstairs, the'll be up in a moment" Chimney said, while taking Maddie's free hand and starting to move towards the stairs, Maddie following along, glancing back at Buck and Eddie, worried after hearing her little brother had fainted, could they have missed something at the hospital?

A few moments later she could hear Eddie laugh out: "Buck you need to stand still so I can get under you shirt and remove those wires" and Chimney couldn't hold in his laugh any longer, and somehow Maddie found that she to was laughing to when hearing her brother's complaining answer

"But your hands are to cold"

Hen's crying laughter: "Relax Buckaroo, at least Chimney already removed the ones on your hips, so he doesn't need to go down your pants to".

Maddie laughingly at hearing Hen's comment looked at her boyfriend and accusingly jokes: "I thought it was my pants you wanted to get into, not my brothers".
