Hello everyone, with the reboot coming out I got this script stuck in my head. It is set in the 2020 reboot and it is set out in more of a script format rather than a story sorry if that puts some of you off.

*just outside of the water tower

We see the tower its night and raining heavily, thunder claps in the distance

*Interior Water tower

The Younger Warner's Wakko and Dot are watching TV while Yakko is by the tower door

Yakko: "Okay sibs I'm just gonna be gone for a few hours I'll be back by eleven"

Dot: "yeah, yeah we know. we'll be lucky if your date lasts that long"

Yakko: "Its not a date, its aaaaaaa... work lunch that's all"

Wakko: "at 9:30?"

Dot: "and we're unemployed"

Yakko: "Just try not to burn down the tower, or each other"

Wakko: "What about the DC EU?"

Yakko: "That doesn't need any help, see you soon"

Yakko opens the door seeing the weather outside

Yakko: "I'm sure that bodes well" while looking at the camera

Yakko leaves and closed the door behind him

Dot: "So what do you want to do now that Yakko's gone? Watch scary movies? Run with scissors? Or use the laptop that has the parental controls unlocked?"

Wakko "Goodnight everybody"

Dot stares at Wakko

Wakko: "What? somebody had too"

Dot: "Yeah lets not do that, when Yakko went on that after the first season he poured bleach in his eyes for two hours"

Wakko: "Yeah, wonder what he saw he was just looking at the Animaniacs Twitter feed"

Dot: "That'll do it, Movie?"

Wakko nods and runs to the kitchen making pop corn, while Dot looks through their movie collection. Wakko in the background is putting stranger and stranger things in the microwave, from taffy, nachos, Butter and a salt shaker.

Dot: "ohhhh how about this one?"

Dot hold up a horror movie titled "Stabbing pretty girls in the forest 13"

Wakko: "I dunno Dot, Yakko said not to watch those"

Dot: "oh common Wakko what's the worst that could happen were both here"

At that moment the microwave explodes covering Wakko in an assortment of cheese, popcorn and other mess with the tip of his left ear catching on fire.

Dot runs over and extinguishes the fire

Dot: "I mean something that can't catch fire? plus there so unrealistic nothing like that could happen here"

Wakko inhales and eats the mess around him including the fire extinguisher that is torn from dots hands

Dot: "I'll make the snacks this time"

Wakko has a flash back to all the times dots cooked including the soap drink in episode 2 of the reboot, as well as how she set fire to cereal and a stew literally came alive and attacked Yakko and Wakko.

Wakko: "I'll just put some candy in a bowl"

At this Wakko grabs both a bowl and Dot and runs to the couch, Throwing Dot and the bowl onto the couch and table. He then zooms off and a jet of colourful sweets fly right into the bowl and Wakko returns onto the couch placing a blanket on him and dot.

As Wakko presses play on the remote nothing happens, he try's pushing the button again and again, flipping it upside down and getting higher of his seat.

Wakko: "I think its broken"

Dot looks to him and goes

Dot: "No sweetie, you didn't put the movie in, and this is a box of old gumballs"

Wakko: "oh"

He grins sheepishly eats the box and quickly puts the movie in and runs back to join dot on the couch.

As Wakko is settled Dot uses the remote and starts the movie.

*we see Wakko and Dots faces as the movie continues with them getting more wide eyed as the movie progresses, then suddenly the screen flashes red bathing the two Warner's in red light with a scream following. Both siblings scream in response and hold each other close. The red fades away but comes back with a musical cue and the Warner's scream again, then if fades a bit quicker but even more quickly the red returns followed by another scream from both the Warner's and the movie.

This continues on as their scream match in pitch and frequency to the "Mexican hat dance" until it fades completely and we are left with Wakko and Dot both of whom are shaking

Dot turns to her brother and with a shaky voice askes

Dot: "well that was fun hu Wakko?"

Wakko looks to Dot

Wakko: "Yeah totally unrealistic it was almost hilarious"

Both Wakko and Dot give a half hearted chuckle but at that moment a flash of lightning and thunder echo around the tower and both shoot from the couch with a scream.

They hit their heads on the tower ceiling with a CLANG noise, both fall back down, with Dot landing on the couch and it snaps shut while Wakko lands on the table.

Dots head pokes out of the couch and Wakko stand with the bowl now empty on his head.

Dot: "that was just the weather outside, nothing to be scared of"

Then another flash of lightning happens that reveals a shadow of a large man with a knife over the Warner's.

Dot and Wakko scream, Dot jumps out of the sofa as both she and Wakko run to the kitchen with Dot running behind the counter and Wakko smacking into the cabinet as he still cannot see with the bowl on his head.

Wakko falls down with the bowl slow cracks showing a dizzy Wakko, then Dots arm comes out from behind the counter and pull him behind the counter with her.

Dot: "Wakko, Wakko wake up"

Dot shakes Wakko but it does not work, she sprays him with water and then snaps her fingers and says

Dot: "oh look a old donut has fallen under the fridge"

At this Wakko burst awake and before he can say anything Dot has he finger to his lips and into his face to keep him quiet.

Dot whispers: "what should we do?"

Wakko whispers: "We can split it?"

Dot Whispers: "I was thinking about the crazy man in the tower"

Wakko whispers: "well he can't have any"

Dot looks to Wakko with fear.

Wakko whispers: "Well call Yakko, Have you got your phone on you?"

Dot whispers: "No its on charge from taking cute pics all day, What about you?"

Wakko whispers: "I accidentally put mine in a sandwich the other day, how about the landline?"

Dot whispers: "landline what do you think this is 1998?"

Another crash of lightning is heard interrupting the siblings and look back to each other both shanking again

Wakko: "Well try to make it to the door, stay behind me okay?"

Dot nods to Wakko as the both stand with Wakko pulling out a mallet from his hammer space.

Looking around the tower is dark and both warner look to each other and nod and slowly make their way the the tower door. another crash of lightning shows the same menacing shadow.

Wakko charges at the shadow swinging wildly and a sounds of a scuffle can be heard ij the darkness

Dot: "Wakko"

Dot runs for the lights and illuminates the entire tower

Wakko: "Stay away from my sister you over done horror trope"

As we see Wakko is in a crumpled mess from a hat stand with a large coat and a novelty hat with a knife out of it that reads "Halloween: yes we rebooted again"

Wakko: "oh"

Dot goes over to Wakko and helps him up

Dot: "I guess there really was no one here hu?"

Wakko: "Yeah but at least Yakko Wasn't here to see it"

The lights cut out and a banging on the tower door is heard causing the Warner's to scream. Dot jumps into Wakko's arms as he runs under the bed.

Dot: "Maybe It was just the wind?"

Another two bangs are heard on the water tower door

Wakko: "Yeah just some rocks being blown on the tower door"

A voice is heard at the door but muffled and overpowered by the wind so it sounds like "ood Nigh evody"

Wakko: "That wasn't the wind"

Dot: "it must be the killers calling card"

Wakko and dot scream until faintly the tune to Wakko's America starts playing, Dot notices it coming from Wakko and his stomach has lit up the space under the bed.

Dot: "Wakko your calling"

Wakko: "I knew I'd find it eventually"

Dot puts her head net to Wakko to speak into the phone

Dot: "Hello is anyone there, send help there's a crazed killer outside that's trying to break in and we need this episode to end already"

Muffled voices are heard from Wakko's stomach but nothing that can be made out

Dot: "sorry hun but your gonna have to speak up your currently in my brother"

The phone shoots up in Wakko's stomach and Yakko's voice is heard clearly

Yakko shouting "Goodnight every.. eh we'll skip it, just unlock the door it's freezing out here and its Burbank in general"

Wakko and Dot run and open the tower door to find a very wet Yakko standing there

Yakko walks in and claps brining the lights back on and begins reining his tail out.

Yakko: "sorry sibs I forgot my keys..."

Wakko and Dot look to each other then pounce on Yakko bringing him to the floor in a hug, snuggling into his chest

Yakko: "Well if this is how you act when I leave maybe I should datttttttt work lunch more often"

Wakko and Dot look up to Yakko and proclaim: "NO"

Yakko: "lemme guess, you ran with scissors?"

Wakko and Dot shake their heads

Yakko: "You saw how fast food is made?"

Wakko and Dot shake again

Yakko sits up and with all seriousness asks: "You didn't google yourself on the laptop did you?"

Wakko and Dot shake again

Yakko gives out a relieved: "sigh"

Yakko: "so what happened"

Wakko: "We kind of you know..."

Dot: "watched one of the scary movies we weren't supposed to"

Yakko raise and eyebrow

Dot and Wakko: "And we got scared"

Yakko holds them close and says seriously: "There are rules for a reason sibs"

Yakko continues light-heartedly: "mostly so we have something to break"

Wakko and Dot smile, Yakko stands holding his siblings and kicks the tower door shut

Yakko walks them over to the beds, Wakko and Dot jump into the middle one with them spin changing into their pyjamas.

Yakko joins them now dry and in his own nightwear, Yakko lays down with Dot to his right and Wakko to his left. Both snuggle up their older brother and let out contented sighs

Yakko: "See you in the morning sibs"

Yakko holds both close as another lightning flashes revealing a real killer just above their heads ready to strike.

As the killer raises the knife up, Yakko without opening his eyes pulls a cord and the killer is sent flying through the roof by a massive spring.

*outside the tower we see the killer flying through the air before getting hit by lightning and turning to dust and blowing away in the wind

*we return inside the tower to find the Warner's content and asleep with Yakko to give a quick wink to the camera before the short ends
