Two men were riding a horse in the road between a forest when suddenly the ground in front of them exploded reveal a massive dragon-like creature also know as the Class-A danger beast: Earth Dragon
"It's an Earth Dragon!"One of the two men screamed. They closed their eyes awaiting their death when said dragon was about to attack... but it didn't come, the two men opened their eyes as they saw a brown haired teenager with emerald-green eyes slashed the danger beast with his katana with a water dragon trailing on the sword's blade. The two men's eyes were as wide as their mouth as they watch the kid slice the danger beast's limbs one by one until it died from blood-lost.
"Are you two okay?" Said the brown haired boy as he approached the two men that was still frozen from amazement and shock.
"Yes we are, thank you very much young lad! What's your name? "One of the two men finally spoke.
"It's Tatsumi" He answered.
"Well Tatsumi, thank you for saving us"The other man spoke." Please take this as a gift for saving our lives"The man offered him a pouch of gold coins.
" Uh, no it's oka-" He was cutted off when a teenage girl around his age with a butterfly hair accessory punched him in the head.
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING LEAVING ME AND LEYASU WHEN THERE COULD BE MORE BANDITS TRYING TO KILL US!? " She looked over to the dead danger beast and the two men besides Tatsumi and gave the brown haired boy a questioning face.
"*huff*.. *huff*Who are these guys Tatsumi?" The boy named Leyasu said as he finally caught up to the two.
"They were about to get attacked by an Earth Dragon so i ran to kill the danger beast and save them" Tatsumi answered
" Oh, but try to warn us next time!" Sayo screamed at Tatsumi
"Sorry, sorry" Tatsumi apologized with a smile while scratching the back of his head.
"Um, excuse me but would you mind me asking?" One of the men asked "are you three headed to the capital?"
" Yes we are! Me and my two friends are going there to save our villager and make a name for ourselves!" Leyasu said confidently." And maybe i can hook up with some beautiful chicks there to- *eughk!*" He fell down in pain when Sayo jabbed her elbow on his stomach.
"That's what you get for being a filthy pervert!" Sayo screamed at him.
"Hey calm down you guys" Tatsumi said and looked over to the two men he saved earlier. "Why'd you guys asked anyways?"
"Because kid, here's some advice for you:
keep your guard up there are monsters there more vicious than this Earth dragon" He pointed to the dead danger beast tgat was lying in the corner."Not acutall monsters but humans with the heart of monsters" He said without a hint of lying.
Tatsumi looked at them straight in the eyes looking for signs of lies. There weren't any.
"Alright guys they're cool so let's drop the lying" Tatsumi said to Sayo and Leyasu confidently.
The two men looked at Tatsumi curiously. "What do you mean?" Both of them said at the same time.
"Well you see" Leyasu said to the two men.
"Our village are aware of the corruption within the empire but they don't do anything for fear of getting the entire village executed, so me, Tatsumi and Leyasu here... are going to the capital and try to climb up the ranks and change it from within" Sayo explained a little hesitant due to a risk of them reporting to the capital and them being found out.
"Ah, such a noble act, but let me tell you three something, the reason the capital is corrupt is because the emperor is only a 12 years old child" The trio's eyes widen as they listened to the man with further interest." You said that you three were going to change the empire from within right? Well that won't work" The trio were confused as to why but didn't bother ask since it was going to be explained anyway.
"Not with the Prime Minister still around"
Tatsumi, Sayo and Leyasu widened their eyes as if it wasn't already wide enough.
"You mean, the prime minister is manipulating the emperor?" Tatsumi asked
"Exactly, and here's a little secret" The man said.
"We're from the revolutionary army" The other man spoke. "And we see that you boy is skilled with a sword as demonstrated earlier, would you like to join us? Or more specifically, would you like to join Night Raid?"
Tatsumi's mouth opened from shock and curiosity 'What'sRaid?' He said in his mind. "What's Night Raid? Oh and I'm not the only one here with amazing skill, Sayo is a genius sniper and Leyasu is good with an axe" Tatsumi said while Sayo and Leyasu smirked with pride.
"I see, well Night Raid is a group of assassins that kills corrupt nobles and other bad people in the empire, their main target is the prime minister's head" The man explained
"I see, then take us to them" Tatsumi said shocking Sayo and Leyasu
"Very well" The man said as the two of them walked into the forest signalling the trio to follow them.
As they were walking trough the forest Sayo whispered in Tatsumi's ear
"Hey Tatsumi, are you sure we can trust these guys?" she whispered quietly as they walk.
"Don't worry about it, once they do something suspicious or try to threaten us, I'll point my sword to one of the men's neck." Tatsumi replied with a reasuring smile
"Okay then, seems like you know what your doing" Sayo let out a sigh of relief
"Hey watchu guys talking about?" Leyasu asked. He looked at Sayo for a moment and spoke.
"Sayo...have you finally confe- *Oof*!" Sayo kicked him into a tree.
"H-hey Sayo! Why did you kick him? What was he gonna say?" Tatsumi asked with curiosity.
Sayo was blushing deeply as she looked at Tatsumi trying to keep a straight face. "N-no don't worry about it" She said and gave Leyasu a 'speak again and i'll kick you even harder' look.
Tatsumi was staring at him with curiosity but Leyasu just stood up, wave his head and continued walking.
"We're almost there so we're gonna have to blind-fold you three so you wont know our loca-" He was cutted off when Tatsumi pointed his katana at his neck.
"No, we don't know if this is a trap or not and we have our suspicions, and don't worry we won't say anything to anyone regarding this location" Tatsumi said and Sayo and Leyasu nodded in agreement.
"Alright... then" One of the two men spoke hesitantly.
10 minutes later
"we're here" The man said to the trio, they had to look out for a trap someone named 'Lubbock' planted so they had to keep their guard up.
"Boss Najenda!" The man screamed.
'This is their base? It looks so... exposed' Tatsumi thought to himself
The door opened revealing a women in her late 20's with white hair, a prosthetic arm and an eyepatch.
"You. You're from the revolutionary army too am i correct?" The women spoke. "What's your business here?"
" Well miss Najenda, these three are Tatsumi, Sayo and Leyasu, they are possible recruits and since Night Raid is understaffed, we decided to recruit them to you" The man explained.
Najende looked at the trio but the sword of the brown haired boy with green eyes caught her attention 'that design, is that a teigu? No it doesn't feel like one' she thought to herself, the sword had a blue handle and it's blade had a dragon looking drawing on it.
"Do they show promise?" Najenda asked.
"The brown haired boy, yes but the other two, he said that the girl is a sniper genius while the boy with the headband is good with an axe" The man explained.
"Interesting, so Tatsumi would you like to join Night Raid?" Najenda asked
"I'm still thinking about it, why only ask me?" Tatsumi asked
" Well since your friends have not proven their skill, they would have to prove themselves in combat or competition against one of my members, if they lose, they won't be able to join." Najenda explained
"But there has to be a way, we three need to stick together, it's all of us or non of us." Tatsumi explained.
"*Sigh* fine, come inside, we'll give you three a room and let you all decide" Najenda explained
"Yes!" The three said at the same time.

anyways if you're wondering about Tatsumi's sword, it's based from kimetsu no yaiba but it's only the tenth water breathing form with a secret trump card.
