Morning 6:00 a.m
"*Yawn*" Tatsumi was awaken by the sunlight that was flashing through the window, as he slowly opened his eyes. 'Why is there something soft pressed against my chest? I don't remember having any body pillows.'
As his hands slowly adjusted to the bright sunlight,his eyes widened as he saw Sayo's head and his was only a few inches away and realized that he and Sayo was hugging each other like a body pillow, their arms at the back of each other and their legs on top of each other.
His face was now redder than blood with steam coming out of his head.
"H-h-hey, S-Sayo!" He freaked out and caused the teenage girl to open her eyes.
"yaawn... what is it Tatsu..MI!?" She screamed.
"I-I'm sorry! I didn't know i was hugging you in my sleep!" Tatsumi said blushing heavily breaking the hug much to her dissapointment and relief, she liked him but this situation was too embarrassing.
"W-whatever! It's not your fault, i was hugging you too unconsciously!" Sayo said.
" Ho~? What's this about hugging?"
Tatsumi and Sayo looked down the bed and saw Leyasu with a teasing grin. "Don't tell me you-"
"Nothing!" Tatsumi yelled. "We were just asleep when we accidentally hugged each other unconsciously" Tatsumi explained.
"Really? I thought you two were now a coup-!" He was cutted off when Sayo kicked him across the room.
"Shut up!" Sayo screamed at him.
'Man, what a weird way to start the day' Tatsumi thought to himself.
"A-anyways we should get ready for the missio-"
grumble*
Tatsumi was cutted off when he heard a sound. "Whoa! What was that sound!?"
Tatsumi asked
"S-sorry, that was my stomach.." Sayo said blushing heavily from embarrassment.
"Come to think of it, we haven't ate any since we left the village." Leyasu spoke
"Right, let's eat breakfast first and then we can start the mission" Sayo said earning a nod from the two.
Just as Tatsumi was about to open the door, it suddenly opened revealing a red-eyed girl with long black hair.
"Oh i see that you're already awake, the Boss asked me to pick you three up and help me make breakfast, now come, I'll lead you to the kitchen" Akame said earning a nod from the trio.
In the kitchen
"Umm, where's the rest of the food?" Tatsumi asked.
"What do you mean?" Akame tilted her head in confusion.
"I mean why is there only vegetables where's the meat?"
"Oh, i got hungry so i taste tested the meat for a bit." Akame said with a straight face.
"What do you mean "taste tested them a bit!?" There's nothing left!" Tatsumi screamed.
"*sigh* Well we could get more meat by hunting danger beasts, Sayo, Leyasu, do you mind preparing the vegetables while Akame and i hunt for more danger beasts?" Tatsumi asked.
"Sure thing Tatsumi! Leave it to us!" Leyasu spoke confidently.
"Alright let's go Akame."
"Mhhm" Akame nodded.
Tatsumi grabbed the assassin's hand and went outside to the forest.
In the forest
"So Tatsumi" Akame spoke
"What is it Akame?" Tatsumi asked looking back at the girl, he was leading her through one of the danger beast's nest
"If you don't mind me asking, where did you three come from?" Akame asked.
"We came from a village from the far west it's a three days travel from there to the capital on foot, we'd occasionally get attacked by bandits but we're skilled enough to handle them we were almost to the capital when i saw two men getting attacked by a danger beast and that's when we first met those two guys from the revolutionary army and here we are, going trough the forest to find some danger beast meat because someone ate all the meat!" Tatsumi said in the last part with an annoyed tone.
"I wonder who that is." Akame said putting her fingers on her chin trying to think.
"You are not a very good liar."
"I don't know what you mean."
"*sigh* Well anyways we're here now, don't get spotted so we can surprise attack then when their guard is down" Tatsumi explained.
"Mhm" Akame nodded in reply
The danger beast looked like cows but three times the size with large horns in the top of their forehead
"By the way Akame" Tatsumi whispered "Why didn't you bring Murasame with you? " Tatsumi asked.
"Because Murasame's poison would make the meat unsafe to eat" Akame explained."
"Ahh that's why it's called the One Hit kill sword. It suits you very well" Tatsumi complimented
"Thank you Tatsumi" She said coldly.
'Well atleast she thanked me so there's gotta be some progress on that' He thought to himself, Akame has been cold to the three of them but he doesn't know why, maybe she has trust issues or she just doesn't like us in the first place.
"Alright we attack in three... two... one!"
They jumped out of their hiding spot surprising the danger beasts as the two of them got slashed in the head.
"Roar!" The danger beasts screamed as they charged to the duo
Tatsumi and Akame killed half of the group of danger beasts but Tatsumi was getting impatient since he was so hungry.
"The dragon of change, constant flux!" Tatsumi screamed out surprising Akame
The blade formed a water dragon trailing behind the sword as Tatsumi gets faster and stronger with each swing
Akame stopped and watch Tatsumi kill all the danger beast, little did she know that
one of them was smart and hid it's presence waiting for the right time to strike... and that time was now.
Tatsumi had killed all the danger beasts and looked at Akame. His eyes widened as the last danger beast was about to attack her in the back.
"Akame! Look out!" He warned Akame but it was too late as the danger was too close for her to dodge.
'Shit! No! I'm not gonna lose anyone anymore!' He thought to himself.
"Hinokami Kagura!" Tatsumi yelled. The water dragon evaporated and turned into blazing heat fire.
Akame's eyes widen as the danger beast was about to kill her (enbu!) only for the beast's head to be cutted of by a lighting fast blade that was leaving a trail of flames.
"Akame, are you alright?" Tatsumi asked Akame
"Yeah, what was that?" Akame questioned
"It's my sword's best ability, now you know where the "Dance of the fire god" name comes from" he said as he fell to the ground exhausted.
"Tatsumi!" Akame yelled out.
"Are you okay!?" she questioned
"Yeah im fine, just exhausted, switching from Constant flux to Hinokami kagura takes a toll on my body even incursio falls into comparison. So I won't be able to even stand up for now" Tatsumi explained
"Oh well I'll carry you home" Akame said as she carried Tatsumi on top of her back.
"But what about the meat?"
"Your safety comes first, besides i can just pick it up when i return" Akame explained.
"Oh and thanks for saving me, Tatsumi" Akame said as she let out a smile.
Tatsumi's eyes widened 'This is the first time I've seen her smile' he thought to himself.
"You're welcome... Akame" Tatsumi let out a smile with a blush 'Her smile is really beautifu- Argh stop it Tatsumi! you've only met her for a short time! But that time...
Flashback - Earlier when he saved Akame
"Akame! Look out!"
'No! I can't lose anyone anymore!'
Flashback end
why did i felt like i knew her for years and would be devastated when i lose her?' he thought as Akame carried him back to the base.
"Whoa Tatsumi! What happened!?" Leyasu and Sayo said at the same time as they ran up to him and embraced him
"Don't worry, he was just exhausted during the hunt because he had to use his sword's ability and switch to his trump card to save me from a danger beast" Akame explained.
"A danger beast managed to sneak up on you? Well that's a first" Leone said.
"Well anyway, Tatsumi eat and rest for today, we'll do the mission tonight" The boss commanded.
"Yes Boss!" Tatsumi said as Akame carried him into his room.
In Tatsumi, Sayo and Leyasu's room
"Alright stay put Tatsumi I'll bring you your breakfast, Bulat went to pick up the danger beast we hunted earlier. He should be back by now." Akame said
"Thanks for going trough the trouble and doing this for me." Tatsumi said
"It's the least i could do, you saved my life after all" She gave him a smile before walking out, she stopped when Tatsumi suddenly spoke
"You should smile more often, it looks good on you." Tatsumi said with a big smile.
Akame's eyes widen with a small faint of blush on her cheeks but quickly shrugged it off. "Yeah... whatever" she said and walked out of the room.
In The Kitchen - Akame's P.O.V.
I went to the kitchen and grabbed Tatsumi's breakfast, it has a LOT of meat in it, i want to eat it but a part of my body didn't so i walked to his room with his food untouched.
"Hey Akame!"
I quickly turned to the source of the sound and saw Leone approaching me.
"Hey Leone" I greeted
"Oh? Who's breakfast are you stealing this from?" Leone spoke while wonder why she hasn't consume it yet.
"I'm not stealing this from anybody, I'm just taking this to Tatsumi since he can't move his body" I explained.
"Oh~? Why would you do that?" Leone asked still curious about this whole situation that wasn't even a situation.
"Well he saved me so this is the least i could do" I said as i continued to walk to Tatsumi's room.
'Heh, she didn't even touched his food has Akame finally found that someone? Hehe, our Akame's all grown up' Leona thought to herself watching Akame enter Tatsumi's room.
Tatsumi, Sayo and Leyasu's room
knock* *knock*
"Who is it?" Tatsumi asked.
"It's me" A familiar voice spoke, the voice of a black haired gluttonous assassin
"Come in Akame" Tatsumi said. The door opened up revealing Akame with Tatsumi's breakfast in her hands
"Here's your breakfast Tatsumi" Akame said offering him his breakfast.
"Thanks Akame, im surprised you haven't ate it all already" He giggled.
"I wanted to eat it but something in my body didn't want to, so i didn't" Akame explained.
"Hehe, well here have this" Tatsumi offered a piece of his stake.
She gave Tatsumi a look of appreciation and took the meat.
Tatsumi observed the girl trying to guess how she eats so fast however he made one mistake.
He blinked.
In the blink of an eye, the meat on Akame's hand suddenly disappeared.
'Wha-!? That was quick! She really is a glutton' he thought to himself.
"Hey Akame, where's Sayo and Leyasu?" Tatsumi asked
"They're with Bulat and Mein in the training field" Akame answered
"Oh and Akame if you don't mind me asking, how did you get in this line of work?" Tatsumi asked as he eat his breakfast
"Well since you gave me food and saved my life i guess i should tell you" She said, her face turned serious as she narrowed her eye.
"When i was a kid me and my sister were sold to the empire, our parents didn't care about what they would do to us and we were sold to be assassins for the empire"
Tatsumi's eyes widened 'She had a sister? I never heard anythibg about that in the rumors but more importantly, they were sold by their parents to the empire? Wow, i never realized we had similar paths but for me, i escaped and was found by the Village elder' he thought to himself.
"After being sold to the empire we were trained as assassins but me and my sister had to separate since they believed that we over rely on each other. I was stronger than my sister so i got to the Elite Seven while my little sister was on the Group of Terror, they gave my sister enhancing drugs to match up with my skill but it had side effects, i tried to get her off of it but she had already built up an over reliant to it, if she doesn't take those drugs... she'll die" Akame started to tear up but kept going.
"And... one day i was sent to kill the Boss but she opened my eyes to the corruption of the empire and now here i am in Night Raid" She finished, she was starting to cry from the memories she spent with the Elite Seven to her little sister's condition, she looked down her bangs covering her eyes to hide the tears that went out. She then felt something hit her, she looked up and saw that Tatsumi was hugging her.
"It's okay to cry, I'm here for you" Tatsumi said. "And I'm sorry that i made you brought up a bad memory, I'm such an idiot" He apologized.
"Akame" Tatsumi called out.
"What *sobs* is it?" Akame asked
"Well i want to say that i know how you feel, well for the half part of it" Tatsumi said surprising Akame
"H-how do you know what it's like?" Akame asked curiously
"Well like you my parents also sold me to the empire, the only difference is that i escaped with a girl that i don't remember who, she got caught and i tried to defend her but she told me to go so i wouldn't be caught either and so i escaped and was found by the village elder." Tatsumi said
Akame's eye widened of realization and broke the hug she wasn't crying anymore and also felt relief that she wasn't the only one experiencing this alone.
'Tatsumi, you... are you.. no it can't be, that boy i met back then, we shared 2 years together in training before me and him tried to escape, i don't remember his name or what he looks like but i do remember that we spent alot of good times together that even Kurome was suspicious about us.' She thought to herself.
"Tatsumi, thanks for comforting me, i really needed that" Akame said
"You're welcome, Akame" he said he can already move his legs and arms but only for a little, that's why he was able to hug her and eat.
"Well you need to go to rest now save your energy for tonight" She said as she started to walked out of the room.
"Alright then, time to go to sleep" Tatsumi said to himself as he fell to a relaxing slumber.
7:00 p.m Night Raid's base
"yaaawn" Tatsumi woke up, he can now move his entire body with ease, he went down to the hall to see everybody meeting up to eat dinner.
"Hey everyone" Tatsumi greeted
"Hi Tatsumi, I'm glad you're awake" Shelee greeted"
"Hey Tatsumi! I've seen your friend's skills and they're pretty great! Now i want you to spar with me tomorrow." Bulat said
"Sure thing!" Tatsumi said
"Oh, please call me handsome or bro" Bulat said
"You got it bro!" I replied
"Yeah! That's more like it!" Bulat cheered
"Hey Tatsumi, how are you feeling?" Asked Sayo.
"I'm feel like i can take on the whole world! " I replied causing her to giggle
"Well that's nice to hear, Sayo here was worried sick about you" Leyasu pointed at Sayo who was blushing from embarrassment.
"She was like: "Oh Leyasu will Tatsumi be alright i hope he didn't break a bone-!""
Leyasu was cutted off when Sayo kicked him across the room nearly breaking his bone.
"Not. Another. Word." Sayo said and gave him a death glare
"Y-yes ma'am!" He said running back to his chair continuing to eat dinner
"Well, since you're finally awake Tatsumi let's finish dinner and start the mission" Najenda ordered
"Yes Boss!" Everyone said at the same time.
In The Capital
Sayo and Leyasu were tasked to pretend to be the homeless country bumpkins.
"Man, this sucks, why do we have to wait here on the streets." Leyasu said getting impatient.
"Just shut up and go along with the plan." Sayo said.
From the roofs, the other Night Raid members (Except from Najenda) are watching them from afar.
"We've been here for thirty minutes and nothings happening yet." Tatsumi whispered but loud enough for the whole Night Raid members to hear
"Don't get impatient Tatsumi, the Capital is big so it's gonna be a long time for them to find Sayo and Leyasu." Akame explained.
Just as Akame said that, a carriage surrounded by four guards stoped infront of Sayo and Leyasu, a little girl around 13 years old with blue eyes, short blonde hair came out.
"Oh look at that, they're already here, alright everyone be quiet." Leone spoke.
Sayo and Leyasu were sitting in the ground quietly when a carriage stoped infront of them. A 13 year old girl with blue eyes and short blonde hair walked up to them.
"This again Miss?" One of the guards asked.
"Oh you know it's a habit of mine." The girl said as they walked up to the two.
"Hi, my name is Aria." The little girl spoke.
"What's yours?"
"My name's Sayo and this is Leyasu, we're from the countryside and came here to make some money to save our village." Sayo explained. "But we haven't found any places to stay yet since we got scammed by someone."
"Oh, then if you want, we can offer you a place to stay." Aria offered them.
"Really!? But we don't have any money." Sayo said.
"Don't worry about it, Miss Aria has a habit of taking homeless people in, you should really accept her offer." One of the guards explained.
"Okay then, we accept! Thank you very much!" Leyasu spoke.
"Alright then, let's get going." Aria led them to her carriage and went to their mansion not noticing Night Raid follow them.
In the Mansion
They walked inside the mansion and went to the living room, they were greeted by an old man and woman.
'Are they Aria's parents?' Sayo thought to herself."Welcome home Daughter." The man said and looked over to me and Leyasu. "Oh, i see you brought guests, what're your names young lads?" He asked.
"My name's Leyasu and this girl here is Sayo." Leyasu pointed at Sayo.
"Pleased to meet you, my name is Chandler and my wife over here is Meinu."
Aria's father introduced themselves.
"Well enough talk, let's eat." Meinu said.
Unknowing to the family, Night Raid was spying on them on top of Lubbock's threads as they watch them eat.
"Alright, right as they pass out from food poisoning we attack." Akame ordered. "Lubbock and Mein, you two will stay here and eliminate any guards that tries to escape, Bulat, Leone and I will eliminate the guards from the inside, Sheele will Eliminate the mother and father while Tatsumi will go save Sayo and Leyasu." Akame ordered
"Understood!" Everyone said at the same time.
Inside The Mansion
The five walked into the kitchen and saw a butt-ton of foods and drinks ready on the table.
"Well? Dine in you two." Aria spoke.
Sayo and Leyasu ate all the food that was in the plate and as they were drinking, the two fell sleepy and fell unconscious. They knew this would happen but they counted on Tatsumi and the others to save them.
"I'll take them to the shed, mother, father prepare the drugs and torture materials, guards, follow me." Aria commanded, 50 guards went with Aria while her parents stayed in the house to gather materials.
"Now!" Akame ordered.
All of them nodded and went into action.
Akame, Bulat, Leone and Sheele jumped down the wires and went inside the mansion while Tatsumi went trough the forest and followed Aria and her guards.
"It's Night Raid!" A guard screamed.
"Don't let that sword touch you." One of the guards warned.
"Eliminate." Akame said as she ran to the guards and sliced 10 of them.
"40 guards left." Bulat (Now in Incursio) confirmed as he threw his spear and hit five guards in the chest.
"35." Leone said as she transform into Leonele and beat up 9 guards to death.
One was able to get a shot at Leone but it completely healed much to the surprise of the guard.
"You made a mistake guard!" Leone screamed as she jumped and kicked the guard in the head causing him to be knocked away and smashed into a wall.
"25 left." Akame said coldly as she kills 10 more guards. "15."
"H-hey let's get out of here!" One of the guards screamed. 4 people agreed and ran away only to be shot in the head by a pink sniper.
"Hmph! how dare they call themselves guards when they run away from a fight!" Mein said pissed off.
Lubbock sweat dropped. "Well i guess anyone would have ran for their lives if they were in that situation." Lubbock said.
"10 left! Let's end this!" Bulat yelled as the finished off the remaining guards.
The battle ended and the members re grouped.
"Hey everyone." Sheele greeted.
"Have you finished your task Sheele?" Lubbock asked.
Mein punched him in the head. "Duh Lubbock, if she didn't she wouldn't be here idiot!" Mein yelled.
"Ouch! Why'd you have to punch me!?" Lubbock yelled back.
"Please calm down you two." Sheele said.
"Whatever.." Lubbock said while taking back his strings into Cross tails."Tatsumi sure is taking his time there huh?" Sheele mentioned the still not present Tatsumi.
"I knew that country bumpkin would only drag us down!" Mein yelled.
"Wait, didn't the boss said there would be a hundred guards?" Leone mentioned as the others widened their eyes in realization.
"I'll go help him!" Akame said running off to the woods in search of Tatsumi.
'Huh, Akame would never suddenly jump out into the woods without a plan... maybe something happened between them that caused her to be that worried, she was always cold to newcomers since she thought if she would get attached to them and they die she would be hurt.' Leone thought as she remembered Akame go in Tatsumi's room with his breakfast still intact.
In The Forest Outside Of The Shed
Aria is guarded by 50 soldiers when she went to the woods. She was in front of the gate and was about to unlock it but stoped as her eyes widen as she saw two of her guards that was holding Sayo and Leyasu fall down the ground with their neck sliced.
Sayo and Leyasu fell to the ground but was caught by a brown haired boy with emerald green eyes and took the two unconscious teenagers to a safe distance.
"You! Who are you!?" One of the guards yelled.
"You don't need to know since you're all gonna die anyway." Tatsumi spoke coldly.
Tatsumi's personality changes from warm hearted to cold if the person is an friend or foe.
"You're pretty stupid thinking you can fight us all!" One of the guards yelled.
"He's not alone"
Tatsumi widen his eyes to see that Akame has jumped behind him.
"You! You're the One-cut killer Akame from Night Raid!" Aria called out recognising the red eyes and long black hair with her Teigu Murasame.
"Nice timing Akame! Thanks for the back up!" Tatsumi smiled in appreciation.
"Well we're comrades after all" Akame said with a smile.
"Alright! I'll take the 25 on the left you take the 25 on the right!" Tatsumi said earning a nod from the black haired assassin.
Both of them ran into their targets. Tatsumi has activated Constant flux causing him to move faster and stronger with every swing and Akame simply cut any guards that comes to her way causing them to be killed by Murasame's poison.
Tatsumi was already done with his targets as he watch Akame kill the other guards.
He was admiring her speed, power and amazing reflexes as she dodged the bullets. His eyes widen as he saw a guard who went behind a tree so he wasn't noticed by Akame and pointed his gun at her.
"Akame! Look out!" Tatsumi screamed. He ran towards Akame and as the hidden guard pulled the trigger, Tatsumi sliced the bullet in half before it even reached Akame.
The guards eye widen as Tatsumi threw his sword at him and sliced his throat.
"Heh guess i saved you again."
"Yeah, thanks Tatsumi."
Tatsumi was about to go pick up his sword but a soldier sneaked up behind him and almost sliced Tatsumi's throat when Akame sliced the guards hands killing him due to Murasame's poison.
"You alright Tatsumi?" Akame asked.
"Yeah I'm fine, thanks!"
"Great, now we're even."
Akame proceeded to kill the guards while Tatsumi grabbed his sword he threw earlier and eventually helped her kill the remaining guards.
Aria was afraid that her guards won't last much longer so she tried to run away only to be blocked by two familiar figures.
"Sayo! Leyasu! You gotta help them defend me against Night Raid!" Aria yelled for help.
"Now why would we do that?" Leyasu said causing Aria to widen her eyes.
"We know what you sick, twisted, sadistic family do for a "hobby"" Sayo spoke.
"We were only acting to be helpless country bumpkins to confirm the rumors."
Sayo added.
"Y-you're not gonna k-kill m-me right?" Aria questioned.
"Of course not!" Leyasu said causing the Aria to sigh in relief but heard a laugh from the two.
"They will." Sayo pointed at Tatsumi and Akame who was already done taking care of the guards.
Aria fell down in fear with her hands hugging her legs. As she saw the two approach her.
"Eliminate." Akame said as she sliced the girl in half.
"Target eliminated, let's head back to base." Akame ordered.
"Right!" Everyone said and headed back to the group.

Yeeeeey!I asked my friends to about the pairing and un surprisingly most of them were in favor of Akame x Tatsumi.And by the power of writing and fanfiction, i changed Tatsumi's back story!So it looks like Akame and Tatsumi have already met each other huh? For two years even!Or did they?????No one knows... Wait i do, im the Author of this story lol!Anyways bye and stay safe out there!
