E-ehem, sorry for not uploading a chapter for a while, I've recently haven't been sleeping very well this past few days because i KEEP watching anime like "Alright just one more episode!" And then on 6 a.m in the morning, "ONE. MORE. SEASON!" This is probably every weeb's weakness, i haven't been able to wake up early so i wasn't able to write a new chapter right away, i also didn't have time to practice my guitar so it's twice the inconvenience for me.
I'll try getting off this habit since it's unhealthy for me and I'll be able to make more chapters for you all.
Anyways, i hope you enjoy this chapter, I'll dial back the romance a lil bit since that's what i was focusing on the whole chapter last time, but you'll see some moments here and there.

Chapter - 5
Back on Night Raid's HQ
"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU TWO BEEN!?" Mein screamed at them.
Akame and Tatsumi walked back to the base and found them all sitting in the couch on the living room.
"When we woke up, boss said you happen to have an what she called an: "beginner's inconvenience" since you took half of the entire week supply of meat supply from Akame." Leyasu explained.
"Yeah, don't worry about that, it's all fine now." Tatsumi reasurred them. Earning a nod from Akame.
"Right, well anyways we have a new mission." Najenda finally spoke. "Apparently, a group of soldiers from the capital has been wandering out on the woods near our base, they were wondering why a bunch of bandits that they recruited went here to explore the place and didn't report back on time." Najenda explained.
"I'm sending Mein, Sheele, Bulat, Sayo, Leyasu, and Lubbock to deal with them."
"Wait, bandits were here?" Tatsumi asked.
"Well while you two were chasing each other on the woods, bandits showed up near our base. We didn't even get to eat breakfast since Akame is gone." Lubbock said. "But we can't really blame you for that, it happened to all of us here."
Tatsumi sweat dropped
"Why didn't you guys asked Sayo and Leyasu do the job?" Tatsumi asked.
"Well we did but..."
"I-it was on accident!" Sayo screamed running to her room embarrassed.
"What's on accident?" Tatsumi asked.
"Well..."
Flashback - Three hours earlier.
"*yawn* Huh? Where's Tatsumi?"
Sayo just woke up after hearing loud running noises. She went outside of the room not even caring if she stepped on Leyasu.
"Hey! Watch where you're going, jerk!" Leyasu screamed.
"Oh sorry Leyasu didn't see you there, anyways have you seen Tatsumi? I just woke up and he was gone."
Sayo questioned.
"How should i know? You just woke me up by stepping on me, of course i wouldn't know!"
"Right, I'm sorry for stepping, anyways I'm gonna go help Akame-senpai cook breakfast." Sayo said before walking out of the room.
"Hey wait for me, I'll help too." Leyasu said and walked with Sayo to the kitchen.
"Huh? Where's Akame-senpai?" Sayo asked.
"And wait... somethings strange." Leyasu said in a serious tone catching Sayo's curiosity.
"What is it?"
"Akame... LEFT THE MEAT UN-EATEN!" Leyasu said. Sayo facepalmed in disbelief.
"I think i know where Akame is, and if your wondering, Tatsumi too."
Sayo and Leyasu looked over the sound of the voice and saw Najenda enter the room.
"Where are they?" Sayo and Leyasu asked at the same time.
"Outside the base, Akame is chasing Tatsumi down for taking away the meat from her." Najenda said. "But it's quite understandable, nobody steals food from Akame, nobody." Najenda added with shivers running down her spines. Sayo and Leyasu's mouth opened. They can only imagine how Akame can make an ex-general feel scared.
'S-such a hardcore glutton!' They both thought at the same time.
"Anyways, since Akame and Tatsumi are out, Sayo, Leyasu, do you think you could make us our breakfast on your own?" Najenda asked.
"Yes boss!" They both said.
The two were now cooking breakfast with Sayo bringing in the foods and Leyasu cooking them.
"Oh? Akame isn't here today? I wonder what the reason is for her to stop eating all the meat in the kitchen."
The two looked over and saw Leone approaching them.
"Tatsumi." Leyasu said.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"It's Tatsumi, he took away Akame's meat from her only for him to be chased into the woods." Sayo continued.
"Pfft. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Leone let out a laugh. "Oh man! I wonder what Tatsumi's face will look like when Akame catches up to him! HAHAHAHA!"
"What did she do to anyone who took away her meat anyways?" Leyasu hesitantly asked, he wasn't sure if he wanted to find out or not, his curiosity and fear are on the same footing so he can't really decide.
Leone stopped laughing and her face turned serious. "I don't want to talk about it." She said walking off with her legs shaking.
They both sweat dropped, 'It's that bad huh? Poor Tatsumi.' They both thought to themselves and continued cooking.
"Hey Sayo." Leyasu asked.
"Hmm? What is it?"
"Umm, Tatsumi and Akame sure is taking their time chasing each other huh?" He said while grinning. 'Heh, maybe Sayo has a rival now.' he thought to himself.
"What do you mean?" She asked tilting her head in confusion.
"I mean, a boy and a girl chasing each other in the forest, alone, what would happen if one of them tripped and fall onto each other? Then-" He was cutted off when Sayo suddenly dropped the meat ingredients.
"H-h-hey Leyasu! Don't jump into conclusions!" She said with her face blazingly red while running trough their room.
"Hey Leyasu! Get Sayo right now, we have bandits to deal wi-" Najenda stopped. "What happened here?"
"Oh nothing, Sayo just dropped the ingredients on accident, I'll clean it up before i catch up with you guys."
"Alright, but make it quick. The plentlier we are the quicker it gets." She said before walking off to the others.
'Alright, now to go to Sayo' He thought to himself after he finished cleaning the mess, it was his fault this happened in the first place anyway.
"Oy! Sayo, the boss said there's a bandits close to HQ, we need to kill them before they discover our base."
"Right!" The door opened, "Let's go!" She said before running out of HQ and in to the woods.
In the forest
The two went outside and into the forest, not spotting the others around that must've mean they already went without them. There must have been a lot of bandits.
As the duo were running in the woods trying to locate any bandits nearby, they spotted 5 people that was wandering around the forest with swords on their hands.
"Alright, Sayo, go up in a nearby tree and snipe 3 of them, I'll take advantage of their surprised state and slash the other two." Leyasu said earning a nod from Sayo as she walks up the tree.
Sayo carefully observed the 5 and had three of her arrows ready, she aimed three arrows at the same time each pointing at one of the bandit's heads, she released her fired the arrows causing the three of the five bandits dropped dead.
The two were surprised as they saw a boy run in their direction with an axe but the one couldn't react on time causing his head to drop while the other one managed to block his attack only to be shot by another arrow by Sayo.
"Wow Leyasu, only one kill? My, my, have you become sloppy?" Sayo teased earning a blush from Leyasu from embarrassment.
"Whatever! I already had him but you took my kill away, jeez, stick to the plan will ya?"
"Right, right." She said as they continue to run trough the forest and found Bulat fighter ten mens by himself.
"We have to help bro!" Leyasu said but was stopped bt Sayo.
"It's okay, bro can handle this, he's really strong know." Sayo confirmed as they 4watched Bulat use his spear to kill all of them in half a minute.
"Hey Bro! Let's head back to base they've probably killed them all too." Leyasu yelled getting Bulat's attention and nodded as he followed the two afterwards.
They arrived at the base and saw Mein, Leone, Lubbock and Sheele waiting for them.
"Hey you three! You're all finally back, took you long enough." Mein yelled.
"Anyways, Akame and Tatsumi hasn't come back yet? Jeez just how long is Akame-senpai's temper?" Sayo wondered.
"Yeah i don't remember Akame getting mad this long, it's been literally an hour and they're still playing cat and mouse, those two have alot of stamina." Lubbock said.
"Well whatever, let's wait for them to come back so we can finally have breakfast, I'm starving!" Leone complained, earning a nod from everyone and went back to the living room to wait for the two.
End of Flashback.
"And after two hours, you guys finally came back! Jeez what were you two doing there? Don't tell me-" Leone was cutted off when Akame spoke.
"No, we didn't eat breakfast without you guys." The innocent Akame said, Leone just face palmed and laughed at how innocent Akame is.
"No Akame, i mean, did you two do any sexual interactions?" Leone asked but the two only looked at her confused.
"*sigh* I meant se-" Leone was about to explain to the two unbelievably innocent assassins when Mein cutted her off.
"Anyway, enough of that! You two, make us breakfast right this instance, have you two got any idea how hungry we are!?"
Mein yelled.
"Alright, alright we're sorry, we'll get staryed right away." Tatsumi said as the two of them went to the kitchen and prepared the meals.
As Akame and Tatsumi went to the kitchen, Leyasu sighed and went bacj to their room.
"Yo Sayo, it's me." Leyasu said and went in the room.
"Oh hey Leyasu... Sorry for messing up the food." She apologized while looking down.
"Don't worry about it, it's my fault for saying something like that anyway."
"Hey Leyasu?"
"Hmm?"
"How do i unlike someone?"
"Hm? Well that's..." Leyasu's eyes widen in realization. "Why? Did he do something to you?"
"Not really, it's just that, Akame-senpai might be the one Tatsumi was with twelve years ago."
"What makes you say that?"
"Well think about it! Long black hair, crimson red eyes, gluttonus behavior, it's just like how he described it to us back then. I'm certain she is, the way they look at each other, it's like they've known each other for years."
"Well if you out it that way, there's a high possibility that she is. If that's the case, then the reason they took so long is that Tatsumi was telling Akame-senpai about the girl he met back then. If that's what happened, they might have already realised it. But that's only a possibility."
"Well if it really is Akame-senpai, then i want to give up on these feelings as soon as possible."
"Well that's simple." Leyasu said and sat next to Sayo. "You just have to be happy for him." He said with a big smile.
"Well, look at it this way, Tatsumi just probably found the girl he separated from back then and now was reunited! Don't you think it's quite romantic?"
"Yeah, it's quite romantic." She said with a smile.
"So either way, I'm all for it for whoever he chooses, it's Tatsumi were talking about here, im sure he'll make the right decision!"
"Yeah, he will." Sayo said and started to tear up.
Nine hours later.
The three went under Akame's training, they were tasked with cooking, sparring and hunting. She and Tatsumi had to keep a low profile to keep away suspicions and it worked out pretty well.
"Alright everyone, were heading out now." Bulat said as him, Sheele, Mein, and Lunbock went outside to do their mission.
"Don't forget to guard the house and cook dinner for me~." Mein teasingly said to the three country bumpkins as they went outside do start the mission.
"Yeah, yeah whatever." Leyasu said with a tick mark.
"Welk anyways, Leone we have a request from the capital, think you can gahter information?" Najenda asked.
"Sure boss! I don't have any wanted posters yet so it's safe!"
"Alright the one making the request is at the graveyeard near the capital, once you get the information, come back immediately." Najenda instructed as Leone noded and went out of the base.
"Good luck Leo-nee-chan!" Sayo said catching Leonoe's attention.
""Leo-nee-chan?" That's new, i like it! Byee!" She farewelled and ran into the forest.
"Now then, let's just wait for her report." Najenda said and went back to the living room to relax.
20 minutes later.
"I'm back boss!" Leone entered the living room.
"Welcome back Leo-nee-chan!" The trio greeted.
"So what's the news?" Najenda went straight to business, it's already 6:20 at night so she wanted this to finish as fast as possible.
"This is our targets," She slammed down a picture of a tall man with one eye and the other one which i don't know how to describe.. sorry. "Thsese are our targets, Orge and Gamal, they have been taking bribes and using their power for their disgusting needs. This is the money she offered us." She put the bag of gold coins on the table.
"Wow, she's able to make so much money." Leyasu commented.
"Yeah, when i smelled her, I'm afraid she's been selling her body." Leone said.
"Have you confirmed this case?" Najenda questioned.
"Yes boss, my senses have never failed you yet." Leone said confident of her abilities with Leonele.
"Alright then, Night Raid accepts this mission. Akame and Leone, you two will go assassinate Gamal and the three of you will handle Orge." Najenda ordered.
"Wait Boss, could you let us three handle this?" Leyasu said.
"We haven't really showed our skill besides from Tatsumi, so we want to prove ourselves, we'll take on both." Leyasu said confidently.
"No, that's pretty stupid. Remember what i said? If you let overconfidence take over you, you'll die." Akame reminded them when they first joined Night Raid.
"She's right." Tatsumi said. "That's why I'll handle Ogre and you guys can take Gamal."
"What!? But we can't prove ourselves with that fat guy!" Leyasu complained.
"You don't need to prove yourselves, I know how strong you two are so taking on Ogre to probe yourself is just useless." Tatsumi patted his shoulder and smiled.
"Whatever fine, we'll take on Gamal."
"Great, Akame will watch you two while Leone watches Tatsumi." Najenda said earning a nod from all of them.
With Akame, Sayo and Leyasu
"Alright let's do this nice and quick, I'm getting hungry and i want meat." Akame whispered, the two laughed quietly.
"You're such a glutton Akame-senpai." Sayo commented.
"I'm a growing girl so i need my energy."
"But I'm a girl to and- nevermind, let's finish this mission." Sayo said as she pointed two arrows at the two guards that was with Gamal.
"Alright, i shoot you attack, got it?" Sayo ordered, Leyasu noded and prepared his axe.
"one...two...three!"
Sayo fired her arrows and instantly killed the two guards leaving Gamal surprised.
Leyasu stepped out of the shadows, he ran at the surprised Gamal and slashed his throat.
"Night...Raid...!?" Gamal said before he dropped dead on the ground.
"Alright, it's done, great job, let's head back to base." Akame said as she headed out while the two follow her.
With Tatsumi and Leone
"Alrighty, Ogre should be almost here. When he comes initiate your plan."
Tatsumi and Leone were waiting at a roof from a bar they heard Ogre always visits.
"Right Leo-nee-chan."
"Anyways Tatsumi, since he isn't here yet let's talk about what happened when you and Akame were playing cat and mouse outside of base~." Leone said teasingly
"Did you to do it?"
"Do what Leo-nee-chan?"
"Sex."
"WHAT!? O-of course not!" Tatsumi yelled while blushing heavily.
"Well what did you two do?"
"Well, i guess she won't be mad if i tell you. Has Akame told you about someone she met 10 years ago and they got separated for 8 years ago?"
"Yeah she did, wait! Don't tell me your him!?" Leone asked with her mouth opened.
"Yeah, after we got separated the one training us attacked me, he sent me flying to a cliff. Luckily my guess was correct and there was a lake below, i managed to survive but a danger beast approached me, i was about to be eaten but the viklage chief saved me and took me to his village, that's where i met Sayo and Leyasu and we were best friends since then, i managed to learn how to use constant flux and hinokami kagura after years of training and mastered it."
"Ahh, so that's how you survived, well i feel happy for the both of you! What are the odds of that!?" Leone said.
"Well last question, are you two a couole now?"
"More or less, we still got alot of catching up to do." Tatsumi explained.
"And Leo-nee-chan, please don't speak of this to anyone, me and Akame are gonna announce it when the time is right."
"Alright, i get it." Leone said and looked down of the roof and saw Ogre passing by. "Well look who it is! Tatsumi, now!" She commanded, Tatsumi noded and went down of the roof.
"Captain Ogre?" Tatsumi called. Ogre turned his head to see who it was and saw a 18 year old boy with brown hair and green eyes.
"What is it kid!? I'm busy so this better be important."
"I'm sorry master Ogre but we can't speak in public." Tatsumi explained.
"Why!?"
"It's about Night Raid." Tatsumi said surprising Ogre.
"Lead the way."
Tatsumi led Ogre to a alley way away from public eyes.
"So what is it? You know their hide out or something?" Ogre asked getting impatient.
"No Captain Ogre, it's more important, they have a new member."
"New member!? Who is it!?" Ogre asked.
"Me." He said surprising Ogre as Tatsumi used his sword and activated Constant flux and began swinging at Ogre. The captain was surpr to see the Night Raid member's sword covered with some sort of water dragon.
"Heheh, not bad kid!" He said but he got caught off guard when Tatsumi sliced is stomach. 'I-i can't believe it, a kid will be the one to defy me.' He said as he fell down.
"That was quick, I'm a little suspicious but i better get back." He said as he turned his back to walk away.
Tatsumi's eyes widen, he turned around to block a strike from Ogre.
"Ha! You think you can kill me, the mighty Ogre!?" He said as he sent a barrage of attacks trough Tatsumi.
However Tatsumi was disappointed at how this guy lacked speed and only relying on power.
He blocked all of Ogre's attacks and around the tenth swing, he was fast enough to catch him off guard and sliced his body limb from limb as Ogre died from blood-lost.
"Alright now to head back." He went to the roof to find Leone and headed back to base.
Back at Night Raid HQ
"Hey Boss, were back!" Leone greeted as we enter the living room and saw that Akame, Sayo and Leyasu had alreadu finished before us.
"Took you guys long enough." Leyasu commented, the three had arrived fifteen minutes before then.
"Remember what we talked about Tatsumi?" Leyasu said grinning teasingly.
"Right, right." Tatsumi really wasn't all in when they made a bargain, but it was the only way to convince the black haired pervert.
"What are those two talking about Leo-nee-chan?" Sayo asked the blonde hair woman.
"Before we left, those two bargained, the last one to come here has to sleep in the floor since we only gave you guys a single bed." Leone explained.
"I have to share a bed with this pervert!?"
"Oi, if you got a problem with it feel free to sleep on the floor as well!" Leyasu screamed. He wasn't going to sleep on the floor this time.
"A deal is a deal, sorry for dragging you into this Sayo." Tatsumi apologized while scratching the back of his head.
"Hmph! Whatever, fine."
"Anyways, you three will be training under Mein tomorrow, so i recommend you all have a goodnight's rest." Najenda said causuing the three to look at her.
"Really?"
"Really."
"Argh could this day get any worse!?"
Later at 10:00 p.m
Tatsumi woke up from the floor. 'I need to pee' He thought to himself, he went outside of their room quietly to not disturb the two sleeping.
He went to the bathroom and exited half a minute later. 'Ah that feels good, the distance between our room and the toilet is pretty far so i had to hold it in, all that pee has made me very thirsty, I'll go grab a drink.' Tatsumi went to the kitchen and spotted Akame sitting in one of the chairs of the table eating snacks, and by snacks i mean an entire stake. Akame spotted him entering and hid the meat behind her back for fear that he might take it again.
"Hey my Gluttonness, whatcha got there?"
"Hey meat servant, a smoothie." [A/N: Get the reference?"]
"Riiiight, don't worry i won't steal it my Gluttonness." Tatsumi laughed.
Akame laughed and continued to eat the so called "mid night snack" as Tatsumi approached her and sat down on a chair next to her.
"So, are we officially a couple now?" Tatsumi was the first one to make a move.
"Not really, i need to know if you're still the meat servant i knew back then." Akame said, if he wasn't then they're better off as friends.
"Ah of course, i knew you would say that, by the way... i told Leo-nee-chan about our situation," He started to sweat fearing that Akame would get mad at him, they told themselves to keep this a secret as long as possible until they've made their decision to wether be a couple or not. "but, she told me she would be quiet about it!"
Akame facepalmed but she didn't really get mad, she expected Leone to ask about this but she didn't expect it to be this early.
"Figures, i expected she would be suspicious, if she didn't, she wouldn't be Leone."
"Right, oh and i have a request."
Akame raised an eyebrow and gave him a questioning look.
"Well since Boss said that Mein would be training me, Sayo and Leyasu, i was wondering if you could train me instead? Like we can go cook, catch fish, spar and hunt danger beasts together." Tatsumi explained.
"Hmm, sure, let's ask the Boss tomorrow."
Akame said, she then turned towards Tatsumi and hugged him, Tatsumi was a bit surprised by the sudden action but calmed down and hugged her back.
"You really have no idea how much i've missed you, so spending a time tomorrow will be a great idea for us to catch up." Akame said with a smile.
"Yeah, I'm sorry i forgot about you a little, like your looks, name and all, it seems that when i fell down the hill and landed on the lake, the impact must have messed with my brain a little, but it's okay now, i remember you and that's what counts." Tatsumi smiled and broke the hug.
"Let's sleep shall we? We have alot of things to do tomorrow." Akame said earning a nod from Tatsumi.
Unknown to them, a certain black haired girl overheard their whole conversation.
Flashback 5 minutes ago.
After Tatsumi went out of the room, Sayo woke up, she sighed in relief that she wasn't hugging her perverted childhood friend. She looked down to the floor and saw Tatsumi missing, she thought he only went out to pee so she stood up and head to the kitchen. Before she could enter the kitchen she saw Tatsumi and Akame talking. She quickly hid behind the wall and listened to their conversation.
'What's Tatsumi and Akame-senpai doing here?' Her eyes widen as she kept listening. 'Leyasu was right! Akame-senpai is the girl Tatsumi was talking about! And Leo-nee-chan already knew it too!?' Sayo thought to herself. As she listened to their conversation about talking to Najenda about Akame training Tatsumi, she took a peek and her mouth opened. The two of them were hugging. She quickly hid back with tears coming out of her eyes. 'So in the end, i didn't have a chance at all.' Sayo quickly brushed off the tears and heard the words "You really have no idea how much i've missed you." She went back to the room. 'What am i supposed to do with this knowledge? Should i tell him that i overheard the two of them? No, he might think I'm stalking him or something. So I'll just do what Leo-nee-chan is doing: not saying a word about it, easy enough.' Sayo thought. It was a lie. She really wanted to talk to someone about it but she has to stop herself from doing so. Sayo went back to sleep not noticing Tatsumi enter the room as both fell in a night's rest.

I'm baaaaaack, sorry for the delay, I've been busy reading manga, watching anime and other stuff.Anyways, as you could see, i SUCK at writing fight scenes, if you guys have an advice, i could use one, there's gonna be alot of that on the further chapters tgat I'm gonna right.And now that this chapter's done i have a question.What about the others? Any ideas on the pairings? I want to do something new and different like Leyasu x Mein or something but I'll leave those to you guys to decide. The first pairing to reach 5 recommendations will be it. And sorry don't get your hopes up, I won't be putting any same sex relationship, I don't really like those in my opinion.Well that's all, good bye and goodnight! Stay safe out there YO!
