Now as i said on the last chapter, main characters WILL die, just not as much as the original. I'm not going to spoil who dies but I'll atleast tell you that Sheele can rest easy knowing that she won't get eaten in this fanfic.

Chapter - 7
3 Days Later.
Somewhere in the Empire. Night Time.
A mysterious man stood near a wall sitck with wanted posters. He was staring at Night Raid's.
"Ah, Night Raid: teigu users and... assassins." He smiled wickedly. "Simply delightful! Let's have some fun shall we?"
"Hey! You there!" Two guards on night patrol appeared behind him. "You look suspicious, who are you!?"
The mysterious man just smiled. "Heh." He laughed before beheading the two guards in seconds, blood splattering out everywhere. "The Capital is such a nice place, i think I'll stay for a while. There's so many heads to chop!" He said before laughing maniacally.
Night Raid HQ. Akame's POV
"GAH!" I woke up jumping out of the bed. Another nightmare? It's the fourth time this week.
I've been having nightmares about Tatsumi dying in my arms these past four days.
I think i should talk to him about this.
I looked at the clock, it was already 7:30 a.m, i overslept again. I walked up to my door but when i was about to open it, the door was opened from the other side. I saw Tatsumi and he was giving me a worried look.
"You had another nightmare?" He asked.
I just frowned and nodded. He then patted my shoulder.
"Come, let's talk about it after breakfast."
I just nodded again and followed him to the kitchen.
Akame's POV
Nothing much was going on, Mein, Sayo and Sheele sat at the left side of the table, Lubbock, Bulat and Leyasu sat on the right side while Boss was was at her usual spot. Tatsumi and i sat down and began to eat the food Tatsumi, Sayo and Leyasu prepared.
"Alright, listen up." Boss spoke catching all of our attentions. "We have another mission. It seems that there's been a killing spree on the capital. Reports are saying that every single victim has been beheaded, just last night, two guards were found dead at an alley with their heads removed."
"A head chopping serial killer?" Mein spoke. "There's no doubt about it. That can only be one person: Head Hunter Zanku."
I nodded in agreement. Tatsumi, Sayo and Leyasu just looked at Mein confused.
"Who's Head Hunter Zanku?" Tatsumi asked.
"Seriously you don't even know who he is? You three really are country bumpkins." Mein teased.
"Umm, i don't know who he is either." Sheele said catching all our attentions.
"No Sheele i think you just forgot." Mein said, Sheele just nodded and started to read her favorite book: 100 ways to cure an air head.
Leyasu looked like he was about to say something before Boss cut him off. "He's an executioner that went crazy after chopping off countless amount of heads in a prison, apparently, executing prisoners wasn't enough and he decided to take it to the streets, he stole a teigu before he left the but we are still unsure of what it is."
"Alright, if we don't know where he is in the capital then i suggest we split up." Tatsumi said.
"No, Tatsumi." I saw Bulat stood up and walked up to Tatsumi. "It's dangerous out there to go alone, so we should go in pairs." He said while holding Tatsumi's chin. Tatsumi looked uncomfortable but Bulat just laughed and returned to his seat, i laughed as well but it was only a little giggle.
"Bulat is right, we should go in pairs, the pair i will be assigning will be: Akame and Tatsumi, Mein and Sheele, Bulat and Lubbock and Sayo with Leyasu, you all will go at night so all of you are free to do anything for today." Boss then finished her breakfast and went to her room.
Speaking of breakfast, i looked down at my plate and noticed that my food was already finished. I gave Tatsumi 'The look', he sighed and gave me another piece of stake. I gladly took it and ate it within seconds. "Thanks Mea- Tatsumi." That was a close one. I looked around and thankfully nobody caught up.
"Hey Tatsumi," I looked at him with my bangs covering my eyes. "So what were we going to talk about?" The others were confused but minded their own business. Tatsumi looked at me and stood up. "Let's go to talk to that river we went to three days ago." He said and smiled. I stood up and we went outside and into the forest.
At the river. Akame's POV
Tatsumi and i arrived at the river we were at three days ago. We sat at the edge of the river between land and water, our feet dancing inside the river.
This is the time, I'll tell Tatsumi all about the nightmare i had.
"So, my Gluttonness, what did you dream about? You've been waking up late ever since we started training together, and you keep having those nightmares, I'm worried about you." I was silent for a while, i built up my confidence and spoke. "What i dreamt about... was you." I finally told him. Tatsumi looked surprised and confused, maybe he's wondering why he gave me nightmares.
"Nightmares about me?" He asked me, sadness can be seen all over his face. Yep i knew it, he probably thinks i hate him for some reason. I grabbed his cheeks and faced it towards me, i looked at him straight in his eyes, he did the same.
"Don't misunderstood, i would never hate you my meat servant." I smiled at him. His face seemed to calm down.
"Why i was having nightmares about you..." I mentally prepared myself. "Was because in that dream... you died." My eyes were now watery, he looked surprised but when he saw that i was crying, he quickly pulled me into a hug.
"It's okay, it was just a nightmare, My Gluttonness, I won't ever leave you, i promise." He stroke my hair and held my hand to comfort me.
"But it felt so real Tatsumi, you were wearing a dragon like armor almost like Bulat's, wounded up badly and you died from blood-lost. Behind you was a giant teigu that i have never seen before."
I was crying again. "Tatsumi, i don't want to lose you again no matter what, please don't die, I'll be all alone again."
From these past few days we spent together with Night Raid, Tatsumi and i almost regained all the bond we had 10 years ago, we helped each other train, we cooked together (atleast for lunch and dinner.), competed together and they were always wondering why we were so close.
"Shhh, it's okay Akame, I'm not going anywhere without you, like i said, they were nightmares, but repeated nightmares... maybe Boss might know what's going on, we should ask her about your situation."
I smiled. "Yeah, sure." I then broke the hug, i stared at his emerald green eyes and he stared at mine. "Tatsumi, promise me you won't die, that you'll survive this revolution with me to the very end."
Tatsumi smiled at me and said:
"Okay, i promise i will survive this revolution with you to the very end." he gave me a thumbs up with a big smile across his face.
My eyes widen, that was it, i was satisfied, this is still the same old meat servant i knew in love. He didn't change at all. With that in mind, i smiled and said:
"Congratulations my meat servant."
"For what?"
"For staying the same."
I cupped his cheeks with my hands and connected my lips with his. He was surprised at first but calmed down as he got the message and kissed me back. We stayed like that for a while, savouring each second, we pulled apart and we both smiled at each other with both of us having tears of joy. Finally, we were now a real... couple.
With the rest of Night Raid. Sayo's POV
It's been a few minutes since Akame-senpai and Tatsumi left, i wonder what they were talking about.
I finished my breakfast and approached Mein. "Hey Mein-senpai, can we go on target practice again?" Mein looked at me and nodded. I smiled, we got up and went to the training field.
At the training field. Still Sayo's POV
Mein and I arrived at the training field, the place was really wide with target dummies placed at the corner, we took the dummies and placed them 50 feet away from us. The reason for this is because I asked Mein-senpai if she could help me improve my aiming skills.
"Alright Sayo, the most important parts of archery are focus, aim, position and your physical abilities. You need to get stronger if you want to expand your target range, and for that, you need to practice aiming as far as you can and do some strength training." Mein-senpai explained and then grabbed a bow and arrow. I examined Senpai's every movement as she aim the bow at the target dummy 50 feet away from us, i was impressed by the amount of concentration senpai was giving, her rose pink eyes so sharp it can cut a paper in half just by looking at it and her position is absolutely close to perfection. I just stood there in amazement as she fired the arrow and hit the dummy in the head. "Bullseye!" senpai yelled.
"That's amazing Mein-senpai!" I complimented. Senpai had a prideful smile and said: "That distance was no problem at all. Now it's your turn."
Senpai gave me the bow.
"Now, concentrate on your target." I nodded and gave my full attention to aiming at the dummy.
Mein had a grin on her face but I didn't notice it because i was too focused on aiming at the target. She then got close to me and whispered something in my ear.
"Hey Sayo, do you like Tatsumi?"
"Wha!?" I got surprised as Senpai's sudden question that i lost my focus and accidentally fired my bow, it didn't even got close to the dummy. Mein was just laughing her ass off while my face was deep red, i covered my face with my hands to hide my embarrassment.
"Jeez, Mein-senpai! What's with that sudden question?" Senpai stoped laughing and looked at me.
"Sigh, looks like you still have alot of ways to go." I looked at her confused.
"What do you mean Mein-senpai?"
"I was testing your concentration, you mustn't loose your cool when aiming at a target, if we were in a real situation, a mistake like this will be fatal to an assassination."
I was surprised, she's right, if i lose my cool, i could miss my target and fail my assassination.
"You're right Mein-senpai, i will try again!" I then prepared and aimed my bow at the dummy. My focus was back at the dummy and right before i was about to fire my shot, Mein whispered something to my ear again.
"Hey Sayo, didn't get a no before so that means you DO like Tatsumi~.
My face turned blood red, i was barely able to fire my bow and hit the target at the chest.
"ARGH, MEIN-SENPAI!" I yelled but Senpai just laughed again.
"Oh you're too easy Sayo, but you managed to hit your target this time although that won't be enough to kill it but you're learning quick!" Senpai praised me, i smiled in response.
"But really, do you like Tatsumi?"
I blushed again. "N-no, i don't like him, he's my childhood friend." I looked down. "Besides, i think he already has Akame-senpa-!"
I quickly covered my mouth as i realized i accidentally spilled Tatsumi and Akame-senpai's secret. I looked at Mein-senpai and unfortunately, that look of her looks like she caught on. I'm so sorry Tatsumiii.
"HE WHAT!?"
A few minutes Later. Still Sayo's POV
"I can't believe it..." Senpai sat on the ground in disbelief. I explained to her that i overheard Tatsumi and Akame-senpai talking in the kitchen and what they said about keeping their relationship a secret until they've decided if they should be together and that Tatsumi was the one Akame-senpai was with years ago.
"That bumpkin is Akame's long lost childhood friend?" I just nodded.
"What the hell!? How do i know you're not lying?"
"You'll see soon enough Mein-senpai." I sighed. I hope she doesn't tell anyone about this. "Anyways Senpai, can we continue training?" Mein sighed,nodded and stood up.
20 Minutes Later.
Mein senpai and i have finished training, we got back to the living room and saw that Tatsumi and Akame-senpai have already returned.
"Welcome home Tatsu-." I was about to great the two when Mein cut me off.
"Cut the crap! Tatsumi! Are you Aka-!?" I covered Mein-senpai's mouth and dragged her out of the room. Tatsumi and Akame-senpai looked at us confused but i just waved them off and told them to not worry about it. Once we were far enough from the living room, i let go of Mein-senpai's mouth.
"Fuah! What the hell Sayo!?" Mein-senpai yelled.
"I'm so sorry Senpai but you can't ask him that."
"Why!?"
"Because we need them to announce it, Leo-nee-chan already knows about it but she's keeping it quiet too." I explained, Senpai was surprised but seemed to calm down a little.
"Fine, I'll keep quiet about it." Senpai said with a pout while looking at the ground angrily.
So cute.
"Thank you so much Senpai." With that, we went back to the living room.
"Oh hey Sayo, what happened earlier?" I saw Tatsumi approach me.
"Oh nothing, we just had a little conflict but we sorted it out." After saying that, i saw Tatsumi smile.
"You two really get along well huh?" I smiled. "Yep, just earlier we finished training. After this i think it's Sheele Senpai's turn to train us and Leyasu right?" Tatsumi nodded.
Boss assigned Sheele-Senpai to train us with stamina, though I don't know how she'll teach us because Senpai's a bit of an air head.
"Oh, Tatsumi, Sayo."
Tatsumi and i looked over to the source of the sound and saw Sheele approaching us but tripped.
"Ouch.."
"H-hey Sheele, are you alright?" Tatsumi said and helped her get up.
"Yep, thanks for helping me get up Tatsumi, and can you please find Leyasu and change to these armors quickly." Sheele then handed us three armors she was carrying and how did we not see that!?
"Sure thing, Sayo, let's get going." Tatsumi said, i nodded and we set out a quest to find the idiot.
After spending five minutes trying to find Leyasu, we found him with Lubbock at a small library reading something they call a "Manga". It was about people killing giants or something but I didn't care enough to remember the rest. After that we put on the armor Sheele-senpai gave us. We went to a nearby lake and she ordered us to swim in it while wearing the armor.
Splash!*
"Huff, huff, huff." I saw Tatsumi get to land first. Damn this is tiring! This armor is so heavy that just trying to combat the flow of the lake is already freaking exhausting.
I'm now just a few feet away from reaching land while Leyasu is still behind me.

I basically crawled out of the water. Try as i might, i was too tired to stand. I looked at Tatsumi to see how he's holding up from this intense stamina training and it looks like he's having a hard time too but he's nowhere near as tired as i was.
Splash!*
I looked behind me and saw Leyasu crawl out of the water, he looked twice as tired as i was and was looked like he was about to pass out from over exhaustion. It wasn't because he had less energy than the two of us, it was because he and Lubbock tried to peep at Leo-nee-chan while she was taking a bath, only to be spotted and ran for their lives. So you could say Leyasu brought this on himself.
The three of us looked over at Sheele-senpai who was still reading her book.
"Sh-Sheele-senpai," I called out to her. "W-we're *gasp* done now."
"Ah, congratulations, you leaned how to swim with armor." Senpai said and clapped her hands. "I don't really do chores in HQ so i specialize training new recruits like you."
"But why though? I mean, you maybe an air head but i can't be that bad right?" Tatsumi asked.
"Well, i tried to cook but i burned the meat and made Akame really upset," I saw Tatsumi sweat drop hearing that.
"I tried to clean the floors but caused trouble for Bulat,"
Senpai continued, at this point, I'm already convinced that she can't do chores.
"I helped Leone with buying sugar but i mistakenly bought salt instead and Leone laughed at me."
The three of us sweat dropped.
"And when i tried to wash clothes, i ended up washing Mein with the clothes."
H-how is that even possible!? I looked over to Leyasu and he was giving Sheele and appreciative look. He's probably thinking: 'Yes! Good job Senpai!'.
"And from then on they didn't let me do chores anymore which was understandab-." Senpai stopped when she accidentally dropped her glasses.
"Oh, I cant find my glasses." Senpai searched on the ground, she then looked up and caught me off guard.
G-gorgeous! Senpai looks so cute without her glasses.
While Senpai was busy finding her glasses, Tatsumi stood up and picked it up for her.
"Thank you Tatsumi." Senpai said after putting on her glasses.
"No problem, no offense but how did you join Night Raid?"
"Well, before i was an assassin, i worked at alot of jobs at the capital, but i got fired each time because of my clumsy behavior, everyone laughed at me for being an air head but i just ignored them. But one day, i met a friend who was really nice, she let me stay at her place and didn't laugh at me when i made mistakes and it was fun being with her but... it didn't last long, one night, while we were talking, someone knocked at our door, when my friend opened it, she was surprised to see who it was, maybe it was her ex-boyfriend or something but i could tell he was drunk. He started wreaking the room and tried to choke me friend. That's when i thought; i need to save her. I quickly grabbed a knife and sliced the man's throat from the back, i was surprised at how quickly he died, my friend was shaking but i was perfectly calm.
The case was written as self defense so we didn't get arrested but we've never spoken since.
One day as i was walking around the streets of the capital, three men stopped me, they said they wanted to get revenge for killing their friend, they said they killed my parents and they were going to kill me next. But as they were saying all those things, i was perfectly calm, i pulled out my knife and killed them, one by one without hesitation and i realized; I'm good at this, at killing. If i kill bad people i could make the world a better place.
I was a solo assassin back then but the revolutionary army hired me and here i am now in Night Raid."
"W-wow, i guess everyone here had a rough past right, Sheele-senpai?" I said.
"I guess, but you can just call me Sheele, it's not like im your superior or anything."
"Okay... Sheele-san."
"Just Sheele."
"...Sheele." I said in a cute tone which caused Tatsumi and Leyasu to laugh their asses off. I was embarrassed since i was so used to calling everyone except Leo-nee-chan and these two idiots 'senpai' that calling senpai by her name only seemed unnatural.
"Anyway, it looks like the three of you are tired, rest for now and let's return to base."
We all sighed a fresh of relief and layed down on the ground.
We're finally done with this goddamn stamina training. This is our last training for today since we have to prepare ourselves with a possible fight against Zanku.
Night time. At the capital. With Tatsumi and Akame.
The night has finally come and the whole Night Raid (except Najenda) members are now in the capital in search for Zanku the beheader. The group was split into two members each scouting different parts of the capital in search of the serial killer.
"Hey my Gluttonness, you think we can find this Zanku guy tonight?" Tatsumi decided to break the silence. Since it was night time, the citizens of the empire were now inside their houses due to curfew so it was just the two of them, alone, in a quiet place, in night time, on a full moon.
"Only time will tell, we have to look out for guards patrolling the night as well." Akame responded after finishing a bar of chocolate and pulling out another one from her pocket.
"This mood and atmosphere... kind of feels like we're on a date huh my Gluttonness? Except for the fact that we're looking for a serial killer running around." Tatsumi said causing Akame to giggle a little.
"You could say that... say my meat servant... how do you think we'll announce our relationship to the others? It might kind of seem like a sudden news to them." Akame questioned.
The two haven't really planned anything yet on how to announce that they're already a couple except for asking Najenda if she knows anything about Akame's repeated nightmares.
"Hmm, i don't know... how about after we ask Boss about your nightmare?" Tatsumi suggested earning a nod from Akame.
"Okay then." Akame then pulled Tatsumi into a wall between two houses.
"A-Akam-!?" Tatsumi was about to question Akame's sudden movement when she covered his mouth.
"Shh, listen." Akame said. Tatsumi calmed down and heared footsteps, alot of them.
"Guards.."
After the gaurds have past them, they went out of the corner and went to sit in a bench.
"That was a close one." Tatsumi said before his stomach growled causing him to blush from embarrassment.
"S-sorry."
"It's okay, i brought enough chocolate bars for the both of us." Akame said and gave him one.
"Thanks My Gluttonness, how much did you bring anyways?" Tatsumi asked, he wanted to know how much was 'Enough' for Akame.
"Hmm? Only 25." Akame said after finishing another chocolate bar and then pulling out another one.
"Right, as expected of you my Gluttonness." I said before nature called.
"Umm, excuse me My Gluttonness, Nature's calling."
Akame nodded and Tatsumi stood up and went to a nearby corner.
With Tatsumi.
"Ahh, alright, time to head back." Tatsumi, now done peeing, zipped his pants. But before he could head back, he saw Akame.
"Hey! No peeping." Tatsumi said but Akame just ran off.
"O-oi, wait!" Tatsumi said and followed Akame.
With Akame.
Tatsumi left to pee 5 minutes ago and Akame was getting impatient as she has already finished all of the chocolate bars she brought. 'Maybe i should've brought 40.' Akame thought to herself as she went to where Tatsumi was.
"Hey, Meat servant, what's the hold up-!?" Akame stopped when she noticed that Tatsumi was no longer there. 'Did he found Zanku? I need to search for him quick!' She thought to herself before running to find Tatsumi.
Back with Tatsumi.
'Akame' and Tatsumi were now on a clear field still running when Akame stopped.
"H-hey, why'd you suddenly run?" Tatsumi asked but then his eyes widen as 'Akame' suddenly turned into a huge man almost as tall as Bulat with blond hair, two blades and an green eye on his forehead.
"Who are you and what have you done with Akame!?" Tatsumi yelled but the man just laughed.
"I have not done anything of sort... yet." He said. "'This old man must be Zanku huh?' Is that what you're thinking?"
'Tch! So he can read minds as well?' Tatsumi thought.
"Bingo! That's right! This is my teigu Spectator!"
"Whatever, I'll just have to make time for Akame to get back." Tatsumi said while unsheathing his Nichirin Sword. "Until then, don't die on me." He said before charging at Zanku, full speed.
"Ha! Quite courageous, come! I can't wait for you to beg me for mercy!" Zanku said before blocking a slash to the neck from Tatsumi. Zanku then stepped back to avoid a stab tot he heart and used his blade and aimed for Tatsumi's neck but Tatsumi blocked it with his sword in time and backed off.
"Heh, try as you might i can read your mind like an open book! I know every move you'll make before you even do it!"
Tatsumi just smiled which confused Zanku. "Heh, finally i can go all out, I've been wondering when I'll get to use this again." Tatsumi said before his Katana began to light on fire.
"What the!? Don't tell me you're a teigu user as well!?" Zanku questioned. He tried to read Tatsumi's mind but it was all blank.
"Prepare yourself, Zanku." Was all Tatsumi said before charging at the serial killer again but this time with greater speed.
'What the!?' Zanku thought to himself after barely dodging a slash from Tatsumi. 'His speed improved drastically! How!?' Zanku then tried use counter a slash from Tatsumi with his sword only for it to be burned and broken to pieces.
'And his power! If this isn't a teigu then what is it!?' As their swords clashed even more, Zanku noticed that his blade was close to breaking. 'Shit, i need to back off, my sword won't last much longer.' Zanku then jumped back to avoid another slash from Tatsumi.
On the other hand, Tatsumi wasn't even using his full strength. 'Tch, i thought he was powerful enough to combat Hinokami kagura but i guess i was wrong, i better change it back to Constant flux because this is tiring me out.' The flames on Tatsumi's sword burned out and was replaced by a water dragon. This made Tatsumi feel a little better since changing to a weaker form released some weight on his shoulders.
"Heh, HAHAHAHA." Zanku laughed. "Splendid, I can't wait to chop your head off, how dare you look down on me!?" Zanku then charged at Tatsumi with full speed and aimed for his head, however Tatsumi blocked it with his sword.
Their swords clashed even further until Zanku noticed that Tatsumi's getting faster and stronger with every swing and backed off once again.
'Tch, what's with this kid!? That water dragon is annoying me as well!'
"Say, Tatsumi, was it? Tell me, do you hear the voices?" Zanku asked which confused Tatsumi.
"Voices?"
"Yes, when it gets quiet you can bear them. The voices, the people you killed, begging you to join them, i just talk to silence them off but it gets worse every time i kill someone. So tell me, do you hear them?"
"No, those voices you speak of, i don't hear them."
"This is unexpected, since your an assassin i was certain you also hear them... You have made me mad!" Zanku screamed and activated Spectator's trump card.
Tatsumi's eyes widen to see who was now standing in front of him.
"...Mom."
With Akame.
Akame has been jumping from roof to roof trying to find Tatsumi.
'Tatsumi, where are you?' Akame thought to herself. Her eyes widen when she heard sounds of swords clashing.
'Alright, I'm coming Tatsumi just hold on a little longer.'
Back with Tatsumi.
"...Mom?" Tatsumi was frozen. It's been ten years since he last saw his parents.
Zanku smiled maniacally and charged at Tatsumi. "Splendid! This is the last thing you will see before you die Tatsumi! Savour it!" But before Zanku could reach Tatsumi, a sword fell from the sky and forced him to back off and causing the illusion to break.
"What the!?" Zanku yelled. A shadow then fell from above and grabbed the sword that just fell.
"A-Akame?" Tatsumi said. Akame turned around and stared at Tatsumi looking for any sign of wounds, she sighed in relief as she didn't saw any.
"Ah, so it's Akame and the infamous Murasame, I've been dying to meet you." Zanku said.
"I wanted to meet you too, since your my target, alright Tatsumi, let's finish our job so you can make me food already." Akame said causing Tatsumi to sweat drop but nodded as the both of them charge at Zanku.
Zanku prepared himself for an onslaught. He knew his sword is almost broken and he needed to avoid being damaged by Murasame by any way since he knew about it's posion.
Tatsumi and Akame both swing their swords at Zanku only to be blocked by his sword however it got broken as a result.
Taking advantage of this, Tatsumi was fast enough and sliced two of Zanku's arms off.
"How dare you show me the image of my mother." Tatsumi whispered but loud enough for the two to hear. Akame was surprised but remained focus and sliced Zanku's neck before he could even scream from pain.
"Those voices, will never bother you anymore." Tatsumi said.
"Y-you're right, those voices, it's gone. I thank you, you both." That was Zanku's last words before he died from Murasame's poison.
"Alright, let's retrieve Spectator and head back to base." Tatsumi said but Akame just stared at him.
"Tatsumi... are you alright?" Akame asked with a worried voice, she was worried because of what Tatsumi said when he sliced off Zanku's arms.
"Yeah I'm fine, thanks for worrying my Gluttonness." Tatsumi said but he was obviously lying, seeing his mother's face again after 10 years was tough even for a professional assassin.
"Tatsumi, i know you're lying, it's okay, I'm here for you." Akame said with a smile which caused Tatsumi's eyes to tear up.
"Thank very much, My Gluttonness." Tatsumi then hugged her, they stood there for a while, broke the hug and returned back to base.
Back at Night Raid's base
Akame and Tatsumi have arrived a few minutes late than the others.
"Ah, i see you two have defeated Zanku. Well done Tatsumi and Akame." Najenda praised.
"Ugh, i spent an hour with this idiot for nothing." Sayo complained.
"Hmmf, i know you just wanted to be partnered up with Tatsumi, so I won't get mad." Leyasu teased.
"In your dreams Leyasu."
"Oh, speaking of dreams." Tatsumi said catching everyone's attention.
"I've been having repeated nightmares." Akame continued.
"I was thinking if you might know why Boss."
"Repeated nightmares? What did you see? " Najenda asked.
"Someone precious to me that i don't want to lose more than anyone else dying, he was badly wounded, he had a dragon like armor with broken wings, behind him was a giant teigu that i have never seen before and it looked like he was preventing that giant to crash on a crowd of people while sacrificing his life on the line." Akame bit her lips to avoid tearing up and continued.
"It's been repeating in my dreams each time i sleep and it felt so real that i can even feel fresh air from that dream."
"Someone you hold dear the most... since you mentioned 'he' then it's not Kurome, and no one here has a dragon like armor.
Who is this person?" Najenda asked. Akame looked at Tatsumi and the two nodded.
"It's Tatsumi." Akame said which caused everyone's jaws to drop to the ground with Mein being more surprised, she didn't believe what Sayo was saying so this caught her off guard.
"Tatsumi!?" Everyone screamed at the same time. (Except for Sayo, Leyasu, and Leone.)
"Calm down everyone, I'm sure there's an explanation." Sheele said and the rest nodded and looked at Akame.
"Well, do you remember the boy i was talking about ten years ago?" Akame asked.
Everyone (except Leyasu and Sayo) nodded and they're eyes widen in realization. (Except Sayo, Leyasu and Leone.)
"YOU'RE HIM!?" Everyone said at the same time. (Except Sayo, Leyasu and Leone.)
"Yep, sorry we didn't tell you guys sooner, we planned to say it after we made our decision." Tatsumi said.
"What decision?" Everyone asked at the same time.
"To announce that Tatsumi and I are now officially lovers." Akame added which caused everyone's jaws to drop once again.
"LOVERS!?" Everyone (Except Leone.) repeated at the same time.
"What the hell!? So Sayo was right!?" Mein screamed which caused everyone's eyes to look at the two.
"What do you mean?" Everyone asked at the same time.
"Well, i kinda overheard your conversation with Akame on the kitchen days ago Tatsumi, sorry i kinda spilled the beans with Mein." Sayo said.
"Heh, you couldn't keep it a secret huh?"
Everyone looked over to the source of the voice and spotted Leone grinning.
"YOU KNEW AS WELL!?" Everyone (Except Tatsumi, Akame, Mein and Sayo.) said at the same time.
"Yep!" Leone said cheerfully.
"W-well this is sudden news." Najenda said before breathing in and out to calm herself down. "Very sudden indeed."
"You!" Mein screamed and approached Tatsumi.
"You've got to be lying! What sort of spell did you put on Akame!?"
"Nothing, why would i do anything like that?" Tatsumi answered.
"Grr, then if you really are him then what did you two call each other with those dumb nicknames?"
"I called Akame 'My Gluttonness', it's a word mixed with Glutton and You're highness since she always ordered me to give her food but i changed the 'Your' to 'My'.
And Akame just basically nick named me: Meat servant." Tatsumi said.
"A-alright then." Mein said trying her best not to laugh. "How much time did you two spent!?" Mein continued asking.
"About two years until Akame said that Kurome will be returning. Akame helped me escape to find my parents but i was blocked by my so called 'Father' and tried to kill me by throwing my ten year old body at a cliff. I managed to survive since there was a river at the bottom so water cushioned my impact a bit but my brain was a little damaged and some of my memories faded. I was found by my village chief and took me to his village."
Mein and everyone else (Except Akame, Sayo and Leyasu.) was speechless.
"Alright that's enough questions." Najenda spoke. "I congratulate you two for your reunion and i am indeed happy for you, just don't let it get in the way of your missions okay?" Najenda said and the two nodded in response.
"Alright, now that that's settled, about your nightmares Akame, i thought it was just a legend but i guess you proved me wrong."
"What's causing it Boss?" Tatsumi asked.
"Based from Akame's description it can only mean one thing:
Puberty Syndrome."

Like what i did here adding Puberty syndrome from Rascal does not dream of bunny girl senpai into this universe.Flenners fanfics thank you again for that awesome advice, it helped me improve the fight scene on my head with Zank the beheader though a stronger Tatsumi with a OP sword and Akame with an OP teigu, I'm sure you all also expected the fight to end quickly.And no, this isn't a crossover... yet. I might plan to bring this story to a whole new level after i finish this story, however this particular story will remain an non-corss over.Oh and did you spot any references i put in this chapter?
