Piper POV:
So Hera flashes some people here to watch memories. Percy's memories too. Percy had the best childhood anyway. He had a loving mother, a loving stepfather and he had the camp! He was popular the second he got there. He was curled in a corner with his head in his knees and with a jolt I realized he was crying. I had never seen Percy cry and judging from everyone else's face they hadn't either. Rachel was hugging him and whispering things in his ear. Grover was looking at Percy sympathetically. Then clip started.
There was an adorable 2 year old getting put down for a nap. Little Percy looked around and saw a snake. The snake slithered over to Little Percy ready to bite him. Percy picked up the snake and squeezed it. Little Percy strangled it.
"Just like Heracles." Leo said.
"Heracles is a bastard." Percy said.
Everyone except Thalia and Annabeth exchanged surprised looks. We thought everyone liked Heracles.
The clip changed to show a man with one eye following Little Percy on the playground. The teacher walked up to him and threatened they'd call the police.
"Why would a cyclops follow Percy?" Asked Nico.
The clip changed again and it showed some people jeering at Percy. "Freak!" Dummy!" "Do everyone a favor and kill yourself!" Percy left in tears and the captions read "Percy feels useless."
So he was bullied a little more than us
The clip changed again and Sally was talking to Percy. "There is someone I want you to meet. Be nice to him." Percy nodded. An ugly man with yellow teeth, a big stomach, and three peices of hair leered at Percy. "My name is Gabe and I am your new stepfather."
Wait, Paul wasn't Percy's first stepfather? Oh well. Gabe is probably nice too Percy. Percy was glaring at the screen. His eyes were puffy and tears were streaming down his face. The others followed my gaze and their eyes widened. What happened that was so bad?
