Wow, it has been a while hasnt it? I am soooo sorry about that. I fully intend to finish this story, but my priority has been looking for a new job, and I was sick for quite awhile there too. Plus I found myself a little uninspired. But, with the next season coming up next month (SQUWEEE!) I realized I needed to get my butt in gear here. There are only a couple more chapters to this fun little story. Hopefully I haven't lost too many readers due to my lengthy absence.

Anyway, here it is, chapter five! Not as long as I hoped, but enjoy! Please forgive any grammar errors.

I don't own Doctor Who, sad face.

Ben was not lying, the dinner was superb. Rose thought the Doctor might start crying at the sight of the banana station. Rose just sat back and relaxed, enjoying watching the Doctor bother all of their table companions. He seemed to have made it his goal to find out every odd detail about each and every one of them. In fact, his current conversation with a seventy year old lady was about what her favorite memory of eating a pineapple was. His favorite memory was the time he was in a library upside down with pineapple flavored books. "How was I supposed to know they weren't digestible?" He complained. Thankfully the lady in question seemed more amused by his attentions then annoyed, and Rose figured she must be hard of hearing.

As the merry event started to draw to a close, and the Doctor was so full of food he was actually being sort of quiet, Rose looked up towards the main table and was surprised to see that the previously happy couple looking not quite so happy. In fact, a deep and quiet argument seemed to be taking place.

"Doctor," Rose said, elbowing the man in question.

"Hmm?" the Doctor replied with sleepily, one hand on his belly, the other hung loosely to his side.

"That looks a bit serious don't you think?" Rose nodded towards the quietly bickering couple.

"Bit odd yeah," the Doctor said, rubbing the sleepiness from his eyes and yawning, "they seemed quite happy just moments ago."

"That's what I was thinking…What are you doing?" Rose asked as the Doctor whipped out his glasses, suddenly bright eyed and intrigued.

He grinned at her, "lip reading, what do you think I'm doing?" he said, as if it were obvious. "You know Rose, it's a common misconception, but Danger is not actually my middle name."

Rose raised an eyebrow and feigned shock. "You don't say," She replied sarcastically, "What is it then?"

"Nosey's the name, snooping's the game."

Rose laughed and shook her head. "Doctor, I know you think you can do everything, but you can't seriously lip read."

"Challenge accepted!" The Doctor cried happily. He looked up towards the main table and squinted, making as much a show of 'lip reading' as he possibly could. "Looks like they are talking about the best man, Timmy or something."

"Bad choice of best man since he isn't even here." Rose said, rolling her eyes at the Doctor's antics.

"I think he is here, they are discussing what to do about it."

"Really?" Rose's asked," what are they saying now?"

The Doctor turned and looked at her, "Suddenly you believe in my lip reading skills hmmm?"

"Hush up you, your missing their conversation!"

He laughed and looked back up at Keisha and Ben. "Now they are talking about you," the Doctor glanced at Rose. "Do you know the best man?"

"Don't think so," Rose's brows furrowed, searching her memory for a Timmy. "Nope, sides, I didn't know Ben before now, why would I know his best man?"

"Good point, I guess it will just have to be a mystery."

"Or we could ask," Rose said.

"Yet another good point, I do believe you are on a roll Miss Tyler!"

Rose just smacked him on the arm "Don't make fun," she said, then grabbed his hands and pulled him up from his seat. They casually walked over to the rather sheepish looking couple.

"You two alright?" Rose asked, noting their expressions. "We noticed what looked to be a small domestic dispute going on up here."

"We are fine Rosie," Keisha replied quickly, "Look, at first I didn't think it would be a problem but, it's just…" she groaned in frustration, then turned serious. "There is something we need to tell you."

"Oookay?"

"I am really sorry Rose," Ben stepped in when Keisha hesitated, "It really is my fault; he was my friend long before I knew Keisha, and if I had known what he had done to you, I would never have asked him to the wedding, let alone to be my best man."

"I should have told him sooner, but I didn't know if you were even coming, so I didn't think it would be a big deal." Keisha's words came out very fast and she had an extremely guilty expression on her face.

The Doctor tensed next to Rose, preparing for whatever was coming next.

"Who? Who is it?" Rose said, feeling nervous all of a sudden.

Before either Ben or Keisha could answer, a snarky voice chimed in. "Hey babe, long time no see."

Rose whipped around to see the sleazy face of none other than Jimmy Stone.

what did you think? I thought it might be fun to add in a little more drama, after all, what is a wedding without a bunch of drama? I hope you liked it. This story is definitely an attempt to improve my humor in stories.

please REVIEW! It is very helpful. Next chapter might take me a few days to post, but I promise not to make you wait too long.
