Okay guys, sorry this is so late, I have had some crazy work hours lately. This chapter is not as cheery as the others. This one was a little challenging I have to say. This is supposed to be a fun story, but I wanted to add some drama. Unfortunately with Jimmy Stone, I tend to get a bit extreme. To me, he needs to be a very nasty character. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the chapter. Apologies for any grammar/spelling mishaps, I am super tired.
I don't own any Doctor Who stuff.
Just a heads up, there is a bit of bad language in this chapter...you have been warned.
"Jimmy!" Rose almost shouted, surprise and anger evident in her voice. She even took a small step away from the man.
The Doctor watched the interaction and the gears started moving in his head, trying to connect the name Jimmy and Rose's behavior together. Ahh, he thought, this is the infamous Jimmy Stone then? He isn't even attractive! The Doctor was sure Rose was going to do something to the man's face, after everything he heard about Jimmy; Rose was bound to give him a right slap. Therefore, the Doctor was quite surprised by her slight move away from the man. It was a hardly noticeable movement, but for the Doctor, it spoke volumes. Rose was not just angry with Jimmy Stone like he originally thought, she was also afraid of him. That thought made the Doctor set his jaw. He started to wonder what this slimy, skinny, pale, and sleazy man, could have done to Rose that would induce fear. As his mind started to imagine various scenarios, the anger began to set in. Rose must have sensed his mood change, because in a split second, she gathered her nerves, gently took the Doctor's hand, and actually smiled at Jimmy Stone.
"Wow Jimmy, a wedding is the last place I thought I would see you. In fact, I didn't expect to ever see you again. I actually thought you were in jail." Rose's tone was surprisingly polite, and the Doctor realized that it wasn't for Jimmy, but for him. It was Rose's way of telling him that she had this. He relaxed, and gave Rose's hand an encouraging squeeze, forcing all violent thoughts to the back of his mind.
Jimmy seemed taken aback by Rose's politeness. He had obviously been hoping for more of a scene, and wasn't done trying to get one. "Lookin good babe, you must have decided to watch the chips; I hardly see any cottage cheese on you anymore."
The Doctor's mouth dropped open in shock, how could anyone be that disgustingly foul! Unfortunately, before any sound emerged from the Doctor's agape mouth, someone else spoke up.
"Jimmy!" Ben said loudly, "I told you to be a decent human being; it was supposed to be your wedding gift to us, remember?"
Keisha was glaring at Jimmy, "I specifically remember telling you to be a gentleman. See Ben? This is exactly what I was afraid of. He will never change! This wedding is going to be ruined!"
"Honey…" Ben tried, but Keisha's glare would not be phased, and he could only watch as Keisha turned away and ran from the room with a firm 'don't follow me' look.
Ben was about to follow Keisha when Jimmy laughed and said, "Oh come off it Ben, Rose knows how I like to joke, s'just like old times isn't it Petals."
"Excuse me?" the Doctor said, not able to stay silent any longer, "absolutely no one speaks to my Rose like that."
"S'okay Doctor," Rose said, smiling gently at him to calm the oncoming storm that was beginning to show, "Jimmy is just being the typical ass hole that I remember."
"But…" the Doctor wasn't sure what to do, he was the guy that saves worlds, he just wanted to save Rose right now but she wouldn't let him. He almost let slip a puppy dog face so that she would let him be the hero, but then Jimmy had to say something and interrupt his begging.
"Your Rose ay?" Jimmy seemed to finally notice the Doctor, taking a step back to size him up. "What's this Petals? Got yourself a skinny prick sugar daddy huh? Must still be broke than. I heard you lost that lousy shop job you had. I figured you would just end up selling the only thing you have, even if it ain't worth a…"
BAM!
Jimmy fell smack on the floor, blood pouring profusely from his nose.
"AGH!" Jimmy cried, "crazy bitch!"
"I am OVER this Jimmy!" Rose yelled, losing her cool, "You made my life a living hell long enough, but I've got news for you. You mean nothing now, you hear me? Nothing. I have seen and done things your little brain couldn't possibly imagine. There is a huge universe out there, and Jimmy Stone is nothing but a bloody pimple that nobody cares about. Say what you want Jimmy, but always remember, I don't care." With that, Rose turned around and walked away, pulling a very stunned Doctor behind her.
Ben knelt down next to Jimmy. "Sorry old friend, but I can't have this. I'm getting married tomorrow morning. You were supposed to be my best friend and best man, but this is unacceptable."
Jimmy growled, still trying to wipe blood from his nose. "You are just saying that cause your psycho bitch fiancé doesn't like me."
"Don't you dare speak about her like that. I love her and I choose her over our friendship. We are done. Don't bother coming to the wedding tomorrow." Ben stood up, gave his former friend one last look, and jogged out of the room to find his future wife.
Jimmy glared around at all the staring guests, "What are you staring at!" he shrieked. His sneer turned into a smirk rather quickly though when he saw a familiar face.
Straightening up, Jimmy made his way to the table Jackie Tyler was sitting at. "Hey momma Tyler," He flashed a deranged smile at her through the blood covering his face.
"What do you want you no good piece of shit? Come to find out where my daughter got her mean hit from?" Jackie challenged.
"Hell no you crazy old bat. You just tell that whore daughter of yours that this isn't over. I forgot how much I liked making her life miserable."
Jackie actually laughed at that. "Oh Jimmy, Rose isn't a helpless teenager anymore. I'm not the only one who's got her back now, and you do not want to get on the Doctor's bad side, though, I suspect you already have."
"That fruit loop? Ha, I am going to make them both suffer." Jimmy spat some blood onto the table, grabbed someone's beer, and confidently strode out of the room.
Jackie just watched him go. "If I was a better person," she said to Bev, "I might actually feel sorry for him. He has no idea what the Doctor will do to him if he tries to hurt Rose."
Well, there it is. Fluff and fun will return next chapter, and Jimmy will be true to his word, he will be back. And the Doctor will get what he wants too...to save the day!
