Before I go into the actual disclaimer, here is a review that was left on my Shantae fanfiction I've made within the last month of 2021 and into 2022.
It's by a person who is very toxic and has been known to harrass and abuse anyone he wants and thinks that NO ONE can make him stop. I'm going to make sure that someone, I don't care who, but that someone important can see what he is doing and realize that he's doing this not just to me, but everyone.
Reviews for Ricky the Male Genie S82161 chapter 7 . Jan 23
I used the name of the OC of this story behind your back. I used it in a story of mine called The Victorian Thief. Why did I still Ricky Harlem you may ask? Because I felt like it. OC's are in the public domain. You don't have the right to own the character of Ricky Harlem. I own him now and there's nothing you can do about it. I'd like to see you try and report what I did to the admins. They won't care. They wouldn't give a shit about your report.
Obligatory Disclaimer saying this is a fanfic about Undertale, yadda yadda, I know, I've said this before with the other Undertale fanfics I've done, but I don't think there have been too many Undertale fanfics where the main character Frisk goes through the entire adventure... without being a complete mute.
Undertale is owned by Toby Fox and he is an amazing person. Here's hoping that his completed Deltarune game is awesome when it finally happens.
With this out of the way, let the game begin:
Chapter 1:
It all started out a very long time ago... or at least, that's what this current dream I was having had it stated as... it was a dream that I'd had for four days in a row now and it always gave me the chills... it was me, fighting against a very powerful monster that looked like a goat while he wore a purple cloak with a strange symbol on it... it looked like a curved triangle with smaller pointed triangles inside of it. And after a bit, the dream whited out and I heard a voice.
"With your soul and mine... we are now forever intertwined..." said a very voice, one that sounded a lot like a girl... but this time, something had changed. I had this dream right as I fell down into a large pit, me then gasping as I woke up from it the moment I felt myself hit the ground.
I immediately gasped for air as I felt the life return to my body as I then looked up to see what the heck had happened to me. I remembered that I saw a strange hole on Mount Ebott, where I decided to travel to after I became homeless after my orphanage burned down... and when I tried to inspect it, I tripped on a tree root and fell down into it... and I had that dream shortly after, it being the 4th time it had happened.
"What was that?... And... why do I feel like something is missing on me?" I asked as I then felt in between my legs... and I gasped. My... you-know-what... it was gone! I then looked down and gasped at the fact that I was still in my normal attire, yet I had... slightly longer hair that was slightly darker in color.
"W-What's going on?" I asked in shock as I continued to examine myself... only to then get the idea to feel my chest... I had a feeling that it had something to do with my source of life. My soul. And when I looked at it, I finally understood why my appearance had changed so drastically. My soul as of current was red on the left side and a darker shade of red on the right side... It was so confusing to me! I tried to think... who was that voice that was in my dream? Were they the cause of my soul being different, as well as me turning into a girl?
I sighed after about two minutes worth of inspection and decided to just grin and bear it. Sure, it'd probably be more annoying to go to the bathroom now, but at least I was alive and not dead after a fall that looked like it would've killed me if this hand't have happened. I then noticed a door to my right that I then entered... only to find someone on the other side that confused me.
"Howdy! I'm Flowey! Flowey the Flower!" the thing said. He looked very odd, having a face in the center of a yellow buttercup and being able to move and act as if her were sentient.
"Um... Hi," I said, the flower then looking shocked at that before quickly regaining his composure.
"Well, you're new down here, ain'tcha? Someone's gonna have to show you how things work down here... and I guess little ol' me will have to do," he smirked with a small giggle as he then did something surprising. He sent my soul out of my body instantly!... But he then looked at it with confusion as I saw something as well... for some very odd reason, I saw that my soul had stats on it now. It had... 20 HP, LV 1, stuff like that.
"Down here, people are very friendly. First thing's first, you gotta learn what LV stands for," Flowey said.
"What does it stand for?" I asked.
"Why, LOVE of course! And it's spread through friendliness pellets. Here, I've got a few here. Catch 'em why don't ya?" Flowey smiled as I then felt something happen in my soul... some kind of strange feeling telling me a warning.
"He's lying. Don't trust him," the voice said, me then avoiding the pellets and Flowey looking confused.
"Hey, buddy, you missed them. Go ahead and catch some," Flowey smirked as he then did the same thing and I dodged them again, me seeing he looked quite annoyed. "What are ya, dense?! Run. Into. The bullets!... friendliness pellets," Flowey smiled as he then sent more at me... and when he said what they really were, I growled at him.
"I knew it. You lied to me," I said, Flowey smiling at me with a wicked grimace.
"You're quite right. I am lying. In this world, it's Kill or Be Killed," Flowey smiled as something shocking then happened. He surrounded me with a ton of white pellets all around me! "DIE!" Flowey exclaimed as he then tried to have the pellets close in on me while he laughed like a maniacal villain. I braced myself for impact... only to see that my soul expelled some energy that melted the pellets, Flowey being confused as something then happened. A fireball was sent from the darkness that connected directly into the evil plant, him being sent all the way back to where I'd come from, him then retreating underground shortly after as I looked ahead and saw who saved me from him.
"What a miserable creature, torturing such a poor innocent youth," said the voice of... someone who looked very similar to the person from my dream... only this one was a female and she looked much older than the goat person I fought in my sleep. "Do not fear, my child. I am Toriel, the keeper of these... ruins..." she said, me seeing that she looked a bit conflicted at something.
"Is... Is something wrong, miss?" I asked, her looking at me in worry.
"It's nothing... your eyes just remind me of someone who fell down here a long time ago... one that I knew very well," the woman said Toriel said, me looking at her in confusion.
"Okay... well, could we please get out of this area here? I don't want that flower to come back for round two," I said, Toriel nodding at that.
"Do not worry, my child. I shall protect you. Come with me and I'll take you to my house," Toriel said, me following after her as I could hear my soul thumping slightly... almost as if it felt at ease when I held her soft, furry hands.
"She'll protect you," I heard the same exact voice say... me only then recognizing it as the very same voice I had heard in my dream. The one who said my soul was intertwined with hers... I then looked at Toriel as we got to a staircase and went through the door, her then finishing a puzzle so that we could proceed.
"Um... Miss Toriel?" I asked, her looking at me with a smile.
"Yes, what is it, my child?" she asked, me smiling at how she was being so nice to me.
"Um... my name is Frisk... I wanted to ask you something... can you inspect my soul?... Some weird dream happened earlier and I was turned into a girl afterwards..." I said, Toriel being just as confused by that sentence as I was.
"Um... okay," Toriel said bluntly as I then let my soul out of my chest and she looked at it closely. "I don't see anything problematic here... what is it that you want to show me?"
"Notice how half of it is a darker shade than the other... and in my dream, I was told by an unseen person 'With your soul and mind, we are now forever intertwined'... and only after waking from it did I turn into a female human," I said, Toriel inspecting it more and then looking at my eyes before she then gasped... and I had no idea why. But Toriel then simply hugged me to her body, me being a bit startled, but I didn't care... it had been awhile since I'd hugged anyone, let alone someone as nice as miss Toriel.
"Frisk... I don't know how to explain this... but you remind me a lot of my own child... one that I lost a very long time ago," she said, me being even more confused at that.
"Were they a human?... A female human?" I asked, her sighing at that.
"They were human, yes, but they preferred to not tell of their gender... when I saw your eyes, they reminded me of theirs, as both of you have red irises... and their soul was red, just as yours is... only your soul seems to have some insecurities in part of it... much like theirs did," Toriel said, me wondering if I'd hear the voice again... no dice.
"And what was their name?" I asked, Toriel smiling at that.
"Their name was Chara... they were the first human to fall down here... before everything went upside-down," Toriel said, me smiling at her.
"How about you explain it to me on the way to your house, miss Toriel?" I asked, her smirking at that.
"Very well, Frisk... I'll tell you the tale of how we are all trapped under this mountain... and the tragic events that befell my family," Toriel said shortly after as we then went to the next room. "A long time ago, roughly 400 years before today, there was a great war between humans and monsters... the humans feared us for our magic and our abilities to take human souls... they had 7 of their greatest magicians seal all monsters underground within a powerful barrier. Nothing can exit the barrier except for someone with a powerful soul... then, a hundred years after that day, a human fell down into our world... Chara," Toriel said, me having a funny feeling that this Chara person was important somehow.
"So what happened?" I asked.
"Chara was adopted by myself, King Asgore, and my son, Asriel. We got along very well and Chara and Azzie became inseparable siblings... but then, one day, Chara had gotten very sick... she requested to Asriel to take her soul, cross the barrier, and lay her to rest in her hometown on a bed of golden flowers... but when Asriel did this, the humans in the village attacked him, thinking he had killed Chara. He was severely beaten as he then took himself and Chara's bodies and fell down into the throne room back home... he was turned into dust before he even made it to the ground," Toriel said, me seeing tears well up in her eyes as well as me hearing her voice break as well, me hugging her from behind and her sniffling in at that.
"I'm sorry... I probably shouldn't have brought up old wounds..." I said, her holding my tiny hands with a sad smile.
"After Asriel and Chara died on virtually the same day... and after learning that Asriel had been killed by the humans, Asgore declared war on humanity in a fit of rage... from now on, any human that falls down here is taken to Asgore and killed... I try to protect each of them as best as I can, but they always leave on their own... Frisk... tell me something. Do you want to stay with me? Or would you rather risk your very life to try and go home?" Toriel asked, me looking at her with an unsure expression before I then asked a very good question.
"If my soul happens to be strong enough to move through the barrier on my own... couldn't I free everyone peacefully if I got some souls from a graveyard or something?... I mean, there are sure to be enough souls at my orphanage... I was the only survivor," I sighed, Toriel gasping at that.
"S-Something happened to your orphanage?... You're an orphan?" Toriel asked, me nodding at that.
"An electrical fire happened in the air conditioning which also destroyed the fire alarms and sprinklers... I was the only one left alive because I was outside of the building at the time... everyone else burned to a crisp without any knowledge of the fire," I explained, being absolutely honest.
"And how far away was this orphanage to Mount Ebott?" Toriel asked.
"Not far away at all. It's at the base of the mountain in a small suburb called Botet Town," I explained, Toriel looking to be thinking about that as I then smiled at her. "So long as I can get to the barrier, I can probably convince Asgore to not kill me and I can tell him of my own plans... maybe he could call off his plans if I convince him?"
Toriel looked at me with a smile as she then held my hand happily. "I shall accompany you to my house for now, Frisk. Along the way, we'll encounter various monsters that may wish to harm you. But if you can show mercy in the face of danger, then I will entrust you on your own... but just in case, I'll give you a spare cell phone. And if ever you need any assistance, I shall always answer the phone," Toriel said, me smirking at this. I had never gotten a cell phone before, so holding one in my hands was awesome! Sure, it was just a small flip phone with no texting and no games or anything, but it felt surreal to be given something so precious from someone I'd just met.
"Thanks, miss Toriel," I smiled as I gave her a hug and she smiled and hugged me back.
"Be nice to her," I heard the voice say, me looking around and wondering what they were talking about. "No matter what, stay Determined. You are filled with Determination, more than anyone in this world. Do not harm anyone and I will not harm you," the voice said, me being even more confused at that, but knowing not to speak a word next to Toriel. What was this voice talking about? Me, hurting an innocent person? Why would I ever do something like that?
"Quite right... you haven't done so... yet..." the voice spoke again, me feeling a thumping in my chest at that. "Like I said, our fates are forever intertwined... I know of alternate fates that are far more gruesome. If you embark on those fates by hurting and killing monsters, I will make your life a living hell," the voice said as I then saw something... a flicker of a very creepy image in my head. One that made me gasp when I saw it. The image of a small kid with brown hair, a green shirt with a single yellow stripe, and the most demonic and bloody face I'd ever seen... coming at me full speed! I stopped in place at this and Toriel looked at me in confusion.
"What's the matter, Frisk? You look like you've seen a ghost," Toriel asked as I then looked ahead and smiled and pointed, not at all wanting to share what I'd just seen.
"I do. That's the ghost right there," I said, Toriel looking over and me seeing that I actually got her to smile and laugh at that.
"Yes, that's Napstablook. He's a very nice ghost when you get to know him, but he spends most of his time lying on the ground," Toriel smirked, me then approaching the ghost and seeing he was pretending to sleep.
"Zzz... zz... are they gone yet?... zzzz..." the ghost said, me smirking at him pretending to sleep.
"No, in fact, we kind of need through," I said, the ghost getting up afterwards as I felt my soul leave my body, the ghost looking at me with what I could only assume to be a sad expression and Toriel looking at him with a frown. "You look like you need some cheering up, mister Blook," I said, the ghost smirking at that.
"heh..." he smiled as he then did something surprising. He started to cry and I felt a bit of pain when the tears actually hit my soul, Toriel gasping at this as I then smiled at him.
"There's no need to cry, mister ghost. I'm friendly," I said, the ghost sighing.
"not really feelin' up to it right now... sorry," he said.
"Come on, don't be like that. Don't you want to be friends?" I asked, the ghost smiling as he then said something else.
"let me try..." he said as he then did the impossible and cried upwards... and the tears formed a top hat on his head. "i call it dapperblook... do you like it?..." he asked, me smiling at him.
"You look pretty cute with a hat on your head," I smiled as I went over and hugged him, Napstablook smiling afterwards.
"t-thank you, kid... i came here to feel like garbage... but i didn't expect to meet a friend... i'll go ahead and get out of your way now... bye," Napstablook said as he then disappeared into the ground and Toriel smiled at me.
"Well done, Frisk. You are doing quite well at showing mercy in the face of danger," Toriel smiled at me as we then moved forward a bit more before I then looked over to the east and saw some kind of commotion going on.
"What's going on over here?" I asked, Toriel smiling at that.
"Those are some friendly spiders who make food for others for a price... do you want some money so you can buy one?" Toriel asked, me nodding at that and Toriel then giving me 7 gold, me then going to the bake sale and giving 7 gold to the spiders in the web... and then the spiders gave me a donut shortly after.
"Thanks," I smiled at them as I then went back to Toriel and we proceeded down the path again.
"Stay close, my child. Only a bit more until we reach my home," Toriel said, me smirking at that. Home... I really wanted one of those, but I didn't know how it would happen now that I was an orphan... and sure, I could have a home with Toriel... but that'd be weird having a goat as my mother.
