A/N: Hello there! I have not posted on this platform in a long time. I used to way back in the day. (Goodness! I make myself sound so old!) I was thirteen years old…in 2010. I took a large break since I had lost all the motivation. Except I am back! I will not be able to update every day for I am in college full time graduating in August, I will update whenever I have some free time.

I am terribly sorry for the long Author's Note but usually the first Author's Notes are the longest, no? I must go over a few things before I begin. It is important to know this stuff before reading.

Those are a collection of one shots of the Sonic universe. Between the video games, the TV series (both Sonic Boom AND Sonic X!), and whatever else I can come up with. I am going to do a different variety of ships/couples. Of course there are some I don't ship together…I.e, Shadow/Amy or Sonic/Sally. But I will still write a one shot of their friendship. But of course, if somebody wanted me to write a Shadow and Amy, I will try my best. I always must please my readers.

I am keeping this rating of this story as T; I am not exactly the greatest at writing smut. I get too nervous; I am very awkward when it comes to video game characters I have loved since I was a kid having sex…. sorry about that, LOL.

Amy might be a little OOC. I do not want to write her as a crazy fan girl who stalked Sonic for the entire series. I am writing her as more of the way she was in Sonic Boom. Hiding her crush more and acting well normal. I am sorry if this disappoints some people, but I am not good at writing that kind of behaviour.

Requests for one shots are more than welcome! I will try my best to do them all. Just please be patient with me to get around to it, but I can promise I eventually will get there. Do not be afraid to request something, I am a perfectionist, so I must make it perfect and more.

If nobody requests something I will just continue with the next chapter with my own ideas.

Summary of this chapter: Sonic X universe. Based on episode forty-two, 'A Date to Forget'! My version of what happened after when Amy goes to hug Sonic, but he skips her for Sam. Those are her thoughts, feelings, and her ways change.

Chapter 1: Sonic X; A Date to Forget

Amy Rose sat on top of Sam's speed car kicking her feet back and forth as they held a conversation. Most of it was about their hero Sonic. Fortunately for her, Sam was just as obsessed with Sonic as Amy was but of course, in a different way. Sam was obsessed with finally beating Sonic in a race and will stop at whatever it takes to finish first in line over the blue hedgehog. Amy let out a large sigh, talking about beating Sonic in a race is not exactly her cup of tea. Why not talk about how he stood her up for their very important date? It took forever for the pink hedgehog to get Sonic to ask her out.

Because of this, she got herself ready for it. She bought an entirely new flower bow to go in her quills, the colour was a white daisy with a yellow middle. She had also bought some new pink high heel boots. It made her look more mature. Gee. All this time and effort… only to wait two hours longer for the blue hero to show up. What a disappointment. The most disappointing part was he still did not show.

Amy was only half listening to what Sam was saying. He had this big plan of how to get Sonic to surrender to his command so he would be able to win the race. But to be honest; Amy had no interest in knowing how. All she cared about right now is the hurt and sadness that was flowing through her brain. Did he not care? Maybe not as a lover just yet—but not even as a friend? Why didn't he just call to say he could not make it? It would have been a lot better of a situation than her sitting here in the company of the second most arrogant guy in the universe.

Amy sighed. Sam's voice was just a blur to her now. She did not care about what he had to say. She placed a hand over her eyes softly. All this talk about Sonic was not making things easier. Although Amy had said not to talk about Sonic anymore and just enjoy their day. Of course, she spoke about him again without realizing it.

"Hey! Sorry I'm late." It was him. The voice Amy dread to hear, the face Amy did not want to face. But those words…did he mean it? Was he truly sorry for being late!? Amy felt her cheeks form a blush, while her emerald eyes formed into soft stars. She looked over at Sonic giving his signature wink and grin. Amy shook her head happily, jumping off Sam's car and racing towards Sonic.

"Oh Sonic, I knew you'd come!" Amy started to say, holding out her arms to hug Sonic tightly but was rudely cut off by him stepping aside. Racing over to Sam, causing Amy to fall harshly onto the ground.

"Sorry for being late, I'm ready to race now. Ready to get your butt kicked again Sam?" Sonic smirked. Sam nodded and said something, but Amy was not listening before they were both raced off into the track of the sunset. Tears formed her eyes, as she desperately tried to wipe them.

That was three days ago. Amy was moping around her room in the Thorndyke mansion, her head was laid out on her bed with her hand covering her face. She does not know how long she had been laying there for. Hours maybe? Days? She barely ate, barely left her bedroom. Only to use the washroom and grab something to eat for Ella, but then she would head back to her room to mope. Cream had tried countless times to get Amy to leave her room, her cries were always heard throughout the hallway. While Cheese was shouting 'Chao, Chao!' multiple times. Right now, was one of those times; Cream stood outside of Amy's room. Pounding her small petite hand on the door, but not harsh enough to hurt herself.

"Amy! Amy please," Cream cried out. Tears were threatening to form her eyes. She was crying because she was so upset that Amy was upset. The pink hedgehog was her best friend in the world—besides Cheese of course, and Tails. Whenever Amy was sad or hurt, Cream was sad or hurt. That is what best friends are for. "Please come out, I am so worried about you. If you come out, grandpa said he will take us to the beach for the day. What do you say Amy? Want to head to the beach?" Grandpa was Chuck, Chris' grandfather. But since they had stayed here long enough, all of them referred to him as grandpa as well.

Anybody who knew the heroine girl hedgehog knew she loved going to the beach. It was her favourite place in the world to go to, besides the mall. The beach was one of the ten things in this world that made Amy truly happy. She felt so free, so happy just laying around sunbathing. Or swimming.

"No thank you Cream. Why don't you and Tails go by yourselves? I am sure he would love to attend the beach with you today." Just the mention of Tails' name made the bunny's heart flutter in her chest. Tails was so brave and handsome. Except she was supposed to be trying to get Amy to leave her room, thinking of Tails is not the appropriate thing right now.

"No Amy. As much as I would love to go with Tails to the beach, it just would not be the same without you. Please Amy, I'm begging you."

When there was nothing in response, Cream stumped her foot in frustration. Dear Chaos, she tried everything! But enough is enough. Amy was clearly upset and needed some comfort, and Cream was not going to give up until she got the sight of the pink hedgehog out of her bedroom gosh darn it! Turning around, Cream placed her fists in front of her bravely. Normally she would use her cute bunny charm to get what she wanted but this time it just was not working so she had to come up with something bigger and better. Stomping away, Cream headed upstairs in the attic where Tails and Sonic were staying. Knocking politely at the door, footsteps were loud and rapid and before she knew it the door was opening. Poking out was no other than Tails himself.

He smiled at the rabbit sweetly, his cheeks burning up with the sight of her. They had gotten very close within the last few months of staying here at the mansion. Cream was still so young and innocent but whenever she got older Tails knew this was going to be his bride to be. The girl had the same exact expression as Tails did, flush and fluttery.

"Hey Cream, what's up?" Tails coos. Sonic perked up a bit in the background when hearing Tails talk to Cream. It was nice to have her company. Normally it was either Chris, Ella, or Chuck coming into their room. Oh, and Amy.

Speak of Amy…he has not heard from her lately. She has not been chasing him, flirting with him, or asking him out on frequent dates.

"Hiya Tails, Mister Sonic," Cream greeted politely, that is one of the many positives about Cream. She was very polite and had amazing manners. Sonic gave a happy wave back in returning, greeting her back with the same amount of politeness. "Sorry to bother you on such short notice—but I need your guys' help! It's Amy."

As soon as Amy's name was heard, Sonic's ears perked up. Amy. Was something the matter? Perhaps there was, seeming as she has not been around much lately. In fact, he has not seen her or heard from her. Was she sick? Was she home sick? Was she hurt? All those negative thoughts were flowing through the hero's head. Tails, however, rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Oh? What's wrong- "He started to say but was cut off by a door opening from downstairs. Cream's ears flopped happily at the sound. Cheese poked his head downstairs to see what the sound was and clapped his hands happily.

"Chao, chao!" Cheese says, pointing his small hand down the stairs. Cream gasps and claps her hands. Motioning at Tails and Sonic to follow her which both boys nodded their heads, following Cream down the stairs. Cheese was right, Amy was downstairs now looking for the rabbit. She was dressed in a light pink two-piece bikini. With white ribbons on the side. A sunhat was also placed on top of her head, sunglasses over her eyes.

"Cream? Oh! There you are. I was looking for you, I changed my mind. The trip to the beach sounded wonderful. I could use the water right now. We can invite Rouge to come as well. Knuckles, and Tails please come with us also! We would love to have you there."

After everything that they had been through, Rouge and Amy had made amends. It turned out other than them being on the dark and the hero side, they had a lot in common. So, they made it work by forming a beautiful friendship. Cream was close with Rouge as well; they spoke on the phone at least once a day. Rouge was a great friend to both, a good influence when they have boy problems. Rouge gave the best advice when it came to the men, she really knew her way around. She could easily get whichever guy she wanted, but her heart was stuck on a red echidna.

So, with that being said, each girl had their hearts stuck on a guy. Amy had Sonic, Cream had Tails and Rouge was crushing on Knuckles. The women were there for each other whenever they had problems. They were there for one another to lift each other up.

Everybody was shocked to see Amy's changed reaction. Well. Cream was the most shocked. Seeming as Amy was so gloomy, depressed, for the last few days. Now was a big change; her face was full of smiles. Her eyes were shinning bright. However, you could not see it from the sunglasses she was wearing. She held up her hand, showing a big beach bag. Tails nodded his head, smiling brightly. Any time being spent with Cream was the best.

"Yes! I would love to come. Just give me a few moments, I need to grab my sunscreen. My toolbox just in case I need it, then I'll be ready." Tails says happily. Moving back upstairs by using his two tails to fly. Cream gave Amy a look that said that they would need a good big chat after this, before she headed upstairs to help Tails pack. Leaving the two hedgehogs alone.

Sonic expected Amy to take advantage of their moment alone by throwing herself into his arms uninvited, kissing his cheeks or doing something that would immediately bring up his embarrassment or annoyance. But what he was not expecting was the girl to completely ignore him. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. Did she just forget he was there? Or-

"Hey Ames, what's up?" Sonic tried asking, tilting his head. But again, the girl ignored him. She instead looked down at her beach bag that she had packed and ruffled through it to make it seem as if she were too busy to talk. Sonic furrowed his eyebrows even more in confusion, crossing his arms across his chest.

"Amy?" No response. Okay. Now this is getting ridiculous. What the heck did he do wrong? He does not recall doing anything to physically harm the girl—he would never. But he also does not remember them fighting, he has not spoken to her in a few days. He growled unhappily.

"AMY."

That finally got her attention. Amy turned to eye the hero with a glare on her face. She too, crossed her arms across her chest in annoyance. She had a good thinking over within the last few days. And she knew she was such a bothersome to the hero. There was always an excuse after excuse as of why he never showed up. Now is her breaking point, she had no interest in being annoying anymore. It was clear as day that he was not interested in her. So why waste her time? Exactly. Her time is very valuable, and to not be wasted.

"What Sonic." Amy says harshly, her voice was sharp. Sonic stepped closer to the girl and felt her forehead. Feeling that she was fine and did not have a fever.

"Amy…are you okay? You don't seem…yourself." Sonic mumbled, stepping back quickly. Amy rolled her eyes at his actions even though again; you could not see her eyes from the sunglasses. He is wasting her valuable time…again! Being just his friend was going to be very hard, but hey. Its for the best, right?

Amy sighed. "Listen. I am fine. Let us just go to the beach, enjoy our time, and not talk about this topic anymore okay? I am fine." Amy repeated sternly, walking away from her hero. Just in time, Cream and Tails came walking down the stairs together giggling amongst themselves.

"Ready Amy?" Cream asked happily.

"Ready!"

Rouge showed up twenty minutes after they had arrived. They thanked Chuck for bringing them to the beach and told him they would call him on the cellphone he made for them when they were ready to head back. Rouge was wearing a silky purple and black sexier bikini than the other two girls. But Cream was so happy to see the bat there. Upon seeing her, the rabbit jumped on the bat hugging her tightly. Rouge hugged back just as tightly and rubbed her back.

"Hey Cream. Hey babe." She says to both girls, she called Amy babe all the time. That was just her way of communicating. Amy smiled warmly, giving Rouge a hug after Cream finally let go. Rouge kissed both of her cheeks politely in greeting which Amy accepted immediately, doing the same back. Rouge could read her like an open book, she could tell something was off.

"Hey Rouge, glad you could make it. I am very glad you could join us." Amy says in return, placing a blanket on the ground to sit on it. Luckily, the blanket was big enough for all girls to sit. They desperately needed to have a chat, just the girls.

"Happy to be here babe. Now tell me, what is going through that pretty head of yours? I can smell your sadness from here." Rouge says sternly. Waving a hand at Knuckles to tell him that they were having a serious girl on girl deep conversation and wanted to be left alone. Knuckles got the hint instantly, wrapping both his arms around Tails' and Sonic's shoulders walking them to the other side of the beach. Both boys looked confused but followed, nonetheless.

Amy sighed. She did not know where to begin.

"So, I was supposed to have a date with Sonic. After so many years, I finally managed to get Sonic to ask me out. But like every other time, he did not show up. He somehow forgot, but this time he did not tell me why or give me any explanation. I was devastated…but thinking about it afterwards, I thought about how annoying I am or ever was to him. I do not want to be that girl anymore. I do not want to be known as Amy Rose, Sonic's fangirl. That title is embarrassing. I want to just be known as Amy Rose, her own person. With her own persona. I am also still really sad about it all, but I do not want to show it."

Both Cream and Rouge looked at Amy for what seemed like forever before Rouge tapped on her chin with her hand. Thinking about it intensely. Cream was petting Cheese on the head while she thought about what to say also. Although she did not have a lot of experience with boys in general, the only one she did have a crush on was Tails…but he did not treat her the way Sonic treated Amy. Tails treated her with respect, he always had a smile on his face whenever she spoke. He listened to everything she had to say and gave her the best advice. Amy's situation was very complicated. Fortunately for them, Rouge had lots of experience with the men.

"What a jerk! You took all this time to put effort into making Sonic feel good and special about himself, but this is how he treats you in return? Hell, the Blue Blur is even acting like he does not remember anything about it. How pathetic." Rouge says angerly, her face burning up in a deep red colour. Now she was mad. Her girl spent so much time that was now being wasted, only to be hurt in the end. Oh, hell no, this blue hero was nothing special. He was going to see what he was missing. Cream nodded.

"What she said, Amy! You do not deserve to be treated like this. I mean, Tails treats me so much better than what Sonic treats you. You need to come up with a plan to show Sonic everything that you're worth and show him what he's missing." Rouge gives Cream a side hug and rubbed her ears.

"I agree, Cream is right Amy. Between us three fine beautiful positive women, we should be able to come up with a plan. First though, I think we need to go shopping. Are you down for that babe?"

Amy's eye lit up at that, and she nodded. Clapping her hands together. Cream screamed happily; Cheese was cheering loudly in his chao language. Everything was going to be perfect. She was tired of crying over Sonic whenever he made her upset, she was tired of hitting him with her Piko Piko hammer out of anger, she was tired. And now was a great time to improve herself, form some more self love.

Rouge kissed Knuckles on the cheek to say goodbye. To which he reacted in embarrassment, pushing her away lightly. But not enough to hurt. "Don't touch me!" Knuckles says in embarrassment, shaking his head with disapproval. Rouge rolled her eyes, sighing deeply. Smirking a bit. She knew he wanted her, but because his best buddies were here, he was acting this way.

Meanwhile Cream hugged Tails tightly. He hugged her back just as tightly, rubbing his hands up and down her back sweetly. Cream did the unthinkable for her and moved to kiss his cheek along with his forehead. But unlike Knuckles, Tails accepted the kisses and blushed harshly. It was obvious at this point that anybody with eyes could see that the two had a thing for each other. But Cream has never kissed him before, until now. It was such sweet and nice gestures though.

"Have fun shopping Cream, are you sure you don't want any money from me? I don't mind helping!" Tails protested, after pulling away from their hug. Cream pouted and shook her head quickly.

"No Tails, I'm fine. Thank you though." Cream smiled back. Her eyes were full of love in them. She had so much admiration for Tails. For many, many reasons.

Sonic eyed Amy awkwardly. Noticing she had her head turned away from him, refusing to make eye contact. The others were being lovey dovey while saying their goodbyes while they were standing next to one another as if they were strangers. It was very weird. Normally Amy would-be all-over Sonic, kissing him everywhere. But now she was trying to stay clear from him.

"Uh, bye Amy—"

"Bye!" Amy says shortly, cutting him off. Sonic's eyes widened at her sharpness and scratched the back of his head watching as the women walked away from them. When they were completely out of sight, Sonic turned around and eyed his buddies with confusion.

"Okay, is it just me or is Amy acting very strangely. Did I do something wrong?" Sonic asks in such confusion. But he cannot deny that he misses her company. He misses her running after him. He misses her company. He misses…her. He did not realize until now just how empty he felt without her here. Her attention was really what kept him sane. Usually he would shake the thoughts out of his head, ashamed that he even thought about something as awful as that. But now its just horrible thinking about the department of Amy.

Tails rolled his eyes at his best friend.

"Sonic, I don't want to sound rude…but you need to think of somebody else' feelings besides your own sometimes. Don't get me wrong, you are a true hero who thinks of others in that sense but when it comes to feelings you don't exactly consider Amy's."

Knuckles nodded in agreement. "I don't exactly like Amy sometimes, she's very hot headed, obsessive and fights weak and I hate to admit this, but Tails is right. Amy does a lot for you; she takes so much time out of her day to make sure you're happy. But to me, you take advantage of that. Don't lie Sonic. You like the attention."

Sonic looked at both of his best friends with annoyance on his face. What do they mean that he doesn't consider Amy's feelings? He considered Amy's feelings the most out of everybody! Her opinion and thoughts mattered to him a lot. Yeah, he ran away from her a lot. Yeah, he blows her off a lot. He cared deeply about her feeling though. If anything were to happen to her, he wouldn't know what to do with himself. Sure, the attention was nice but that doesn't mean that he doesn't consider her feelings.

"You guys are wrong. I do consider Amy's feelings! I don't know why you'd think I don't." Sonic says crossing his arms again, looking away from his best friends. He couldn't believe he was hearing all of this.

"Sonic! You forgot your date with Amy, you were supposed to meet up with her at the local café in town, but she waited for hours and you didn't show." How Tails knows this is because Cream told him when they were out picking flowers together in the garden outside the mansion.

Before Sonic could say anything, Tails continued. Cutting the hedgehog off.

"She was heartbroken, that's why you haven't seen much of her recently within the last few days. You didn't even speak to her about it to give her any explanation. That's just low Sonic. If I were Amy, I would be feeling the same way."

Now, normally Tails would be worse when it comes to love than Sonic. He would get so nervous, so awkward when speaking of the word. Just the thought of the word itself got the fox looking like a tomato. Whenever Amy asked Tails for advice, he would blush bright red, mutter out a 'I don't know' and would hurry away like she just asked him to rob a bank. But since getting closer to Cream, he had become more familiar with the term. What it was, what kind of affect it has on people. Etc.

Sonic sighs deeply, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I guess you're right little buddy…and thanks." Sonic smiles, before running off into the city. Causing a big gush of wind to form behind him. Tails looked confused for a moment, shaking his head with disbelief. He didn't tell Sonic to go anywhere! He was just giving advice! Gah. He hopes that Sonic listens to his advice and does not do something stupid to make the situation worse.

At the mall, Cream was waiting impatiently outside of the girls dressing room. Rouge had told her to wait outside while she got Amy dolled up into some better, and much more beautiful, clothing. The rabbit could hear muttering from the other side of the curtain but couldn't grasp what they were saying to one another. Cheese was getting impatient too, they both desperately wanted to see what Rouge had in store for Amy.

On the other side of the curtain, Rouge grins widely when seeing Amy finishing up with putting on the clothing she was told to wear.

"Okay babe, remember what I told you, okay? Self love! You are a strong, beautiful, independent, positive and life motivating woman. You got this girl! Show em' what you got." Rouge says to Amy, who nodded her head confidently. She smirked at herself in the mirror, and Rouge clapped her hands together. Moving in to peck the girl on the cheek happily, then moved outside to where Cream was.

"Wait until you see our girl!" Rouge says to Cream excitedly, taking a stand right next to the bunny, who grinned from ear to ear. Oh, she could not wait to see Amy!

Without further ado, Amy stepped out of the change room curtain revealing herself. And at that very moment, its like time stopped. The room all stopped what they were doing to stare at the girl. Cream's eyes almost popped out of her head. Standing in front of them was Amy Rose, who usually wore her pretty bright red dress with the matching red boots. And the red headband to go on top of her head. This time, however, she was wearing a silky baby blue dress with a white ribbon on the side. It was low cut, so it hit just above her knees. It made her look more mature, and really brought out her green eyes. She was wearing black stocking tights below the dress, with high black boots to match.

There was not a headband on her today, which again made her look more mature. Rouge clapped her hands, pretending to wipe a tear from her eye.

"Goodness look at you. You look GORGEOUS." Rouge compliments, clapping her hands. "Okay! Time for the twirl, twirl around so we can see all of you." Cream nodded her head also in agreement. Amy picked up her dress a bit and twirled around so they could see her back side.

Rouge put her hand up to her mouth to wolf whistle loudly, causing some heads to turn around within the store. Cream covered her own mouth to laugh, rushing over to the girl to hug her tightly.

"Amy, Amy. You look so pretty! You look like a beautiful princess waiting for her Prince Charming to save her." Cream gushed out loudly, to which Amy hugged the bunny back lightly.

"Thank you so much! It truly means so much to me. I cannot wait for the boys to see me now. I'm hopefully going to blow them away." Amy says confidently. Rouge smirks, crossing her arms across her chest.

"I can't wait either, now to do your make up. Since you have such a natural face, I don't need to apply much like I do for my own face." Amy giggled loudly with excitement. It has been such a long time since she had girl time with her best friends like this. It was nice, what a nice change.

Rouge held Amy behind her back as they were walking back to the beach where the boys were all sitting on the blanket Amy brought out earlier. As soon as Tails noticed them coming, his face perked up. He waved at Cream who bashfully waved back. Sonic had gotten back from his run a little while ago, he was thinking things over. Knuckles rolled his eyes at the two, Tails certainly changed a lot over their time staying here on this different planet. Before, he was all about the tools, the machinery, working on the Tornado. But now? Now, he is all about Cream. It was weird.

Perhaps it was he was going through puberty. When puberty hits, the hormones come. Tails is at the age; he is almost in the double digits.

Rouge kept Amy hidden behind her back for the surprise, eyeing Knuckles with a smirk on her face.

"Well, well. Hi boys." Rouge waved. Smirking wider when she noticed Sonic trying to get his head to move to the side to see what was so important behind her back. Amy giggled lightly to herself, blushing softly. Gosh, she hoped this worked…

They all formed this plan; she just did not want it to go wrong. It seemed perfect. Sonic for sure was going to be curious after this.

"Rouge, where's Amy?" Knuckles asked, tilting his head to the side. Tails nodded in agreement but did not say anything. Sonic stayed silent, nothing forming out of his mouth. He did not know what to say, his curiosity was killing the cat. Literally.

Amy giggled a bit louder from behind the bat's back. Moving to step outward from beside her friend. Again—it was like the world stopped. There were so many stares from guys around the beach. Some people wolf whistled, some cat called. Cream hummed softly, moving over towards Tails, and nudging on his arm to get his attention. Whispering in his ear to say let us leave Mister Sonic and Amy alone for a few minutes. Rouge didn't say anything to Knuckles and instead just walked in the same direction as Cream and Tails. Knuckles did not get the hint until Rouge growled at him to come along. Then, he stumbled to keep up with the group.

Amy did not make full on eye contact with Sonic as she spoke.

"Sonic. I want us to try our date again, kapesh?" Amy says but not with an annoying voice. Instead, her voice was calm. Patient. She eyed the blue hero with a hopeful look on her face. Sonic could only nod his head; his mouth and eyes were making him look like he was practically drooling.

"O-Okay Ames, sure thing."

A little later Sonic got told what they were doing. Amy had arranged Ella to make them a beautiful candle lit dinner at the Thorndyke mansion. The dining room was all theirs for the evening. The plan was now in motion. Sonic could not deny that he felt guilt invading his soul after thinking about how he blew Amy off a lot for their dates. Most of the time he had a good reason—Eggman attacking, somebody in the city needed his help, etc. But other times he just did not want to show up. This time, however, was different. He was the first one to show at their dinner.

Ella had made them homemade chilli dogs for Sonic and some salad with spaghetti for Amy. The food smelt delicious; he could barely keep his eyes off the chilli dog in front of him. But he knew he had to wait for Amy. He did not want to screw things up this time, Amy deserved to have a good evening.

Plus…he wanted to show Amy just how much she truly meant to him. He felt bad after really thinking about all the times he blew her off, how he would constantly run away when all she wanted was to just simply hang out with him. Now was his chance to prove that he does truly care about her.

How could he not like Amy? She was beautiful, kind, caring. Yeah, she was hot headed sometimes. She sometimes came off as crazy from her actions and words, but her intentions were all good. She would never physically harm somebody unless it was necessary. She always thought of other people first before herself, especially Sonic.

An hour went by and Amy did not come down the stairs from where her room was. Sonic was impatiently tapping his foot against the ground. The chilli dog in front of him looked to be getting cold, much to his annoyance. Chilli dogs do not deserve to get cold; they don't taste as good. If she were here, he would have savaged this dog down already.

Another half an hour went by and still no Amy.

Sonic growls a bit and slapped his hands on the table with annoyance. Where is Amy? So. You are saying he came here for nothing?

Soon, his anger turned into worry. Where is Amy? What if she is hurt? What if she forgot and fell asleep? But this was her idea. What if she walked away from the mansion, got lost, and found herself in trouble? Amy had the same amount of curiosity as Sonic she would go anywhere her mind told her to. He just hoped she was okay.

He got up from the table to go search for the hedgehog but was cut off by footsteps being heard coming to the dining room. Sonic sighed with relief, grinning when he saw Amy appear in the doorway. Wearing the same baby blue dress from before that made her look so beautiful. More mature. He could not deny that he loved this new look on her, he could get used to this. Wait, what?

"Hey there, sorry I'm late." Amy coos out, giving off a small wink.

Although the scene felt oddly familiar, he shrugged it off immediately. Moving over to do something very unthinkable for him, he was never one to do this. But he felt the timing was right and it was necessary and needed. Sonic moved over to give Amy a hug.

"It's okay Ames, I knew you'd be here eventually- "Sonic says, but gasped loudly at the next part that happened.

Amy stepped aside to dodge his hug, causing the blue hero to fall to the ground loudly. She squealed a bit when Ella, the Thorndyke housemaid, came to the doorframe of the kitchen holding up a cookbook in her hands.

"Ready to start baking some more goodies tonight Ella? I'm so excited!" Amy squeals, Ella laughs in return and both women walked into the kitchen chattering away.

Sonic turned his head to watch the scene unfold unhappily, crossing his arms across his chest angrily, his eyes were widened in shock. Then, it unravels. He remembered himself doing the exact same thing to Amy a few days ago. So, this was her payback to him. And god, it stung. This feeling was awful.

The blue hedgehog groans. Curse that pink hedgehog. She had such a big affect on him already!

"Amy! Wait up!" Sonic says. Speeding into the kitchen to help the girls. Now, it looked like it was backwards. Amy was the one running away, and Sonic was the one with a crush. Girls just have that kind of affect, hm?

A/N: And that is it for chapter 1! I really do hope you enjoy it. I'm sorry for some scenes really dragging out. One of my biggest flaws in writing is getting TOO overly detailed…my apologizes!

I really did enjoy this one a lot. I loved Rouge/Amy/Cream's friendship in this one. I always thought Rouge and Amy could form such a great friendship if they were to ever make amends. Sorry again if some characters seem a bit OOC…I really do enjoy Tails and Cream as a ship. Besides Sonic and Amy, Cream and Tails are my second favourite couple.

Please give me a review to tell me your thoughts or request an idea for a one shot along with a couple of your choice. However, I don't like Shadow/Amy or Sonic/Sally very much…I will still try my best!
