A/N: Thank you to the one person who reviewed! Although I didn't get any requests or more reviews I won't be discouraged. I'm just going to continue on with my own idea until somebody else requests something.

I also wanted to go over something else. I realized after uploading my first chapter that Sonic has MILLIONS of characters. I think I'm going to narrow it down to fifteen people I'll write about. I'll write about Sonic, Amy, Cream, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, Eggman, Shadow, Sally, Tikal, Chris, Sticks. And that is about it, I'll have some random characters in the background, but the main storylines will be about those characters only. SO SORRY if you wanted other characters, but unfortunately, I didn't read many Sonic comics so I wouldn't know how to write them, my apologizes!
Please enjoy the second chapter of my story!

Disclaimer: I don't own Sonic or any of his characters. All rights to SEGA. I do however, own a shiatzu dog named Gizmo.

Summary for this chapter: It's Christmas time! And Cream is trying to make it the best Christmas ever by getting Tails the greatest gift. With some help with Rouge, Amy, and the boys. Nothing can go wrong, right?

Thanks for reading!

Chapter 2: Christmas Blues

Cream the rabbit, who was just turning into the double digits of age now, was in the line up of the grocery store in the mall with her best friends Rouge and Amy. It was a week before Christmas, and everybody was getting ready for the holidays. Cream had just finished up collecting all her house decorations. Vanilla had some decorations already, so the younger rabbit was just buying the rest of them.

Amy and Rouge were in a deep conversation about what to get the boys for Christmas. It needed to be something special. Of course, none of the guys were picky. Whatever the girls got them they would be appreciative no matter what. But their gifts needed to not only say hey! Its the holidays and I had to give you a gift! No, instead it needed to show true meaning, true love, true purpose.

"And so, I'm thinking that Sonic would really enjoy the painting I'm making for him, along with the sweater I'm knitting him." Amy gushes to Rouge, her eyes showing stars in them. Rouge giggles softly at her best friend, nodding her head.

Cream shook her head sadly. Unfortunately, she couldn't paint worthy of anything. If she had some sort of articulate bone in her body, she would've made Tails something herself. But what was she good at other than cooking? Nothing, really. Well, no, that's a lie. She's good at raising chao animals, she's good at growing crops/flowers in her garden then professionally harvesting them. Except, Tails wouldn't like any flowers or crops…and he probably wouldn't want a chao for Christmas either. What would be something that would really knock Tail's socks off?

"That's so cute babe! I know Sonic would love it, anything you get him." Rouge reassures her friend, patting her on the shoulder. "I'm getting Knuckles some emerald polish to polish the Master Emerald, and some newer gloves for the winter."

Goodness, even that sounded amazing...

Cream sighed unhappily, smiling sadly at the cashier who gave her a bright smile in return. Saying hello and asking how she was doing today.

"Oh, I'm doing good. Thank you for asking. Except I'm trying to figure out the best gift for my crush…I don't know much about boys; I have little to no experience with them. He's my first crush." Cream blushes harshly. It didn't occur to her for the brief moment that she was practically ranting to this strange lady who she didn't even know. Boy, was she ever whipped?

The cashier giggled sweetly at the rabbit.

"That's so cute! I'm sure whatever you give him he'll love." The cashier examines, ringing through Cream's Christmas decorations and bagging them. She rolled her eyes when hearing that. Yeah…that was a huge help.

Both the bat and the pink hedgehog perked up when hearing Cream's statement.
"We're sorry Hun, we didn't mean to ignore you. Why don't we hit every stop on the way through the mall, and we debate on what would be best for Tails for Christmas, hm?" Rouge says softly, smiling and wrapping an arm around her small bunny friend. Cream nods slowly, bringing out some cash out of her purse that she saved up from doing small chores around the house or yard work for her mother Vanilla, to pay the cashier.

"Keep the change." She says to the cashier, walking away with the two girls. Shortly after. Amy hums and looks around. Eyeing at all the shops around them. What would Tails be interested in? Well. He's really into machinery, tools, and any kind of projects. But what could you possibly get in a mall that would involve all those things? Unless you went to the hardware store and bought stuff like utility knives or a toolbox, etc.

"Let's see. There's Station Square toy store, or Station Square electronics. Do you think Tails would be interested in anything from those stores Cream?" Amy asks. She shakes her head, frowning. No, Tails doesn't like any electronics such as phones or tablets, he doesn't enjoy toys either. Stuffed animal toys. He really isn't the type of boy who would gush over stuffed animals or be addicted to a phone.

Looking around the mall some more, her eyes suddenly found the pet store again. Would Tails be interested in having an animal? He has never owned a pet before. It would certainly be a change of scenery. Sonic lived with Tails but having a pet would probably help the loneliness whenever Sonic wasn't around.

"I don't know…I'll have to ask Tails. Is it okay if you bring me back to the mall sometime soon Rouge? My mind is completely blank right now from trying to think of things to get him." Rouge nodded her head at the cute rabbit girl, saying she would any time. All three girls walked out of the mall carrying their bags and getting into Rouge's car.

Tails and Sonic were also getting ready for the holidays. Their house was full of Christmas decorations; between their Christmas cloth that went over their table, to the wreath on their door. Sonic right now was getting help from Knuckles putting up the tree, Tails was a lot weaker than the other two boys when it came to strength. So, having Sonic and Knuckles put up the tree was better.

"Almost…there!" Sonic sighs with relief when the tree finally cooperated with them and stood up tall without falling. It took about maybe six tries of them struggling to get the tree to stand up, before it began cooperating. He gave out his signature wink and grin at Tails, putting a thumbs up.

"Told ya we could do it buddy." Sonic continued, and Knuckles cracked his hand a bit. His fingers were going numb from fooling with the tree for almost an hour.

"Man…that tree really put up a fight, huh?" Knuckles complained. He shook his head softly and both the blue hero and the red echidna moved to the couch to sit down to relax. It was like they did an entire day of work, but the truth was it only took them an hour to do it. Yeah, the fought with the tree, but it didn't take them all day to do it. Tails rolled his eyes at his buddies.

"You guys! We're not even onto the best part yet! Now, we need to put on the decorations." Tails says a bit too cheerfully, wagging his two tails. The guys groaned at him in return. Before Tails knew it, Sonic was saying 'see ya later Tails!' and running out of the house. Knuckles following closely behind him.

Tails furrowed his eyebrows in annoyance, kicking the box that read 'tree decorations' on it angrily. Sometimes Sonic and Knuckles were such great help, but other times? They weren't so great. It really sucked how both guys left the fox to finish up the decorations. But that's okay. He'll get his pay back.

His thoughts were gracefully cut off by the sound of knocking on his door. Tails sighed deeply again, moving to answer it. He really hoped it wasn't Sonic playing a prank on him. Most of his friends didn't usually knock whenever they came over. Most of his friends just opened the door, calling his name to let them know they were here and entered.

When the door was fully open, the sight of Cream made Tails' face flush a deep red. The bunny always had this affect on him. Just hearing her name gave the fox butterflies in his stomach. Sonic sometimes made fun of him for the way he was reacting to Cream. He is however, growing up rather quickly. His crush for Cream was blossoming over their time spent together, and he hoped she felt the same.

"Hiya Cream…nice to see you." Tails greeted, stepping aside to let the girl in. Cream smiles back bashfully, following the fox inside his home and stood in his living room. Eyeing around his house to admire his Christmas decorations. She was the only one to knock on his door, that was her manners. The way her mother raised her, was amazing.

"Hi Tails. I just came by to ask if you had something particular that you'd want for Christmas?" Cream asks sweetly, tilting her head to the side. In this moment, she looked adorable. Her brown eyes flashed happily, and her smile could light up the entire earth. Tails returned with a grin, shrugging his shoulders.

"I'm going to be honest with you Cream…I don't really mind what you get me. Whatever it is, I'll love it!"

And well, this was the frustrating part. The cashier said the same exact thing from the store in the mall. The rabbit almost sighed in annoyance. How could she know what to get him that's so perfect that he'll love, if he doesn't tell her what he wants? Cream nodded sadly, turning around to leave again. This was just a waste of a visit and time.

"Thank you Tails. I'll see you later, okay?" Cream says. Using her ears to fly off into the sky. Tails' eyes widened when she took off into flight like that without staying for a few extra minutes of a visit. Every time spent was her kept getting better and better, but for some reason it seemed like she was upset by his response?

"Wait, Cream! You didn't tell me what you wanted." Tails shouts from down below.

"Anything you get me, I'll love!" Cream shouts back.

0000

Okay so, plan C. Since plan A and B didn't work out. Asking Rouge and Amy failed since there wasn't anything, she could think of at the mall that Tails would want. Asking Tails himself for plan B didn't help either, seeming as he had the same response as a total stranger who worked at the mall. So, hopefully, plan C will be a success.

Growing up, Vanilla had taught Cream how to cook and bake very well. Not only was she a decent baker and chef, but she also had a passion for it as well. It was six days before Christmas now, and time was ticking. She needed to get something for Tails, soon.

One thing she did know was that the fox boy really liked apple pie, so perhaps making some apple pie for him would be a good Christmas gift. It didn't cost anything; for Vanilla bought the ingredients, and its something made from Cream's heart. The words he said along with what the cashier said were flowing through her head. Anything you get me, I'll love!

Except, that wasn't good enough. The young girl needed answers. That wasn't an acceptable answer. There are billions of things in this world that she could've gotten Tails. Being the perfectionist that she is, it needed to be PERFECT.

A half an hour went by from Cream reading off ingredients from a baking book and following directions. She had put the pie into the oven and waited patiently for it to be done. After hearing the timer on the oven indicating that the pie was well ready to be served, Cream carefully put on some oven mitts over her small petite hands to take the hot pan out of the oven. Laying it on top of the kitchen island to cool down. She blew on it a few times, smiling happily to herself in satisfaction. It smelt delicious!

The best part was? She used apples from her garden. Freshly grown. So, the scent of apples was heavy across her kitchen, but it was a good fresh smell. Not the odd smell that comes from some apples from the market. Cream clapped her hands together and took off her oven mitts, placing them back in the drawer that they came out of.

"Cheese, Cheese. Come quick! I made some of my own special apple pie for Tails, its his Christmas gift." Cream says, walking into the living room where Cheese was sat down on the floor watching the daily news, they did this together every day. Watching the news. Since the rabbit was busy right now, she told Cheese she would make it up to him some other time.

The chao's head perked up when hearing apple pie and flew into the kitchen to see it. He was just as excited as the girl was. The scent of apples could be smelt from across the house. Vanilla would have been so proud of her daughter; she had taught her well.

"Okay Cheese, I'll be right back. I'm going to wash my hands in the bathroom."

And with that, Cream left Cheese by himself to tend to the pie. The chao looked at the pie hungrily, the rabbit was now completely out of sight. However, her humming could be heard from down the hall. The time on the stove said it was exactly 6:04p.m. That meant it was almost dinner time. Some families, however, have their dinner earlier than that. Vanilla said she would start it by ten after six.

"Okay Cheese, I'm going to be busy helping mama make dinner- CHEESE!" Cream yells out sadly when she walked back into the kitchen. Only to see her friendly chao friend eating at the pie happily. Of course, its not his fault. He's a pet animal for goodness sake. They kind of can't control themselves. And unfortunately, she didn't have any more apples to use for the pie. And it had to be apple. It was Tails' favourite!

"Chao, chao." Cheese says sadly, bowing his head down in shame. Putting down a piece of the pie that he had in his hand. Guilt immediately spread across her features seeing her friend so upset with himself.

"Hey…no its okay Cheese. I promise. I'll just have to go with something else for Tails. Don't worry, you finish that up, okay?" Cream says back with a reassuring smile. The chao smiled back and clapped his hands, digging back at the pie again once receiving permission.
Cream sighed deeply. Time for something else.

0000

Plan…D? There were so many other things she tried but failed. She still didn't have anything for Tails for Christmas, and there were five days left. Time was really ticking now. Sunshine burst through Cream's bedroom window that morning. Which meant it was time to start her day! After getting out of bed, taking a quick shower and heading downstairs the smell of eggs and sausage were heavy from in the kitchen. Vanilla made breakfast for Cream every morning, it was such a nice gesture.

"Morning mama." Cream greets, sitting down at the table just in time. The plate was placed right in front of her. Vanilla smiles, kissing her daughter on the temple.

"Morning my love." The woman says back, sitting opposite of the younger rabbit. Cheese was sitting in his own chair right beside Cream, eating away at his own breakfast meanwhile the younger girl poked at her food with the fork sadly. Vanilla raised an eyebrow. "Cream dear, what's troubling you?"

"I can't find a perfect gift for Tails for Christmas. I tried asking the girls when we were at the mall, but it didn't seem like anything Tails would like over there. Then, I tried asking Tails himself, but he just told me whatever I got him he would love. Finally, I tried making him some apple pie for a gift made specially by me, and Cheese ate it. I'm almost out of ideas mama." Cream expresses sadly. Still poking at her food unhappily with her fork.

Vanilla laughs a bit after hearing that. A big smile forming onto her face. She knew her daughter very well, and it was becoming obvious that she was crushing on Miles. Tails was a bit older than she was, however, Vanilla knew there isn't a better young man out there for her daughter. She knew Tails would treat Cream so good when they got just a bit older. She could see the two of them having a great relationship in the future.

"My dear girl. You are so cute." After hearing this, the younger girl frowned. She didn't want to be complimented right now. Although, every girl seems to enjoy the attention and the compliments, she just didn't feel like it was necessary right now. There was a crisis here!
Continuing, Vanilla took a soft sip of her tea.

"If you want to get Miles something for Christmas, I would buy some tickets for you and him to go see the Ice Princess show at the theatre in town. It is cheap, live action and a winter skating show with a romantic storyline. It serves popcorn, drinks and its not too late at night when its starting. I can bring you two there and back whenever you're ready honey."

Cream's ears perked up when hearing that. Yes! That's perfect. It would be like their first ever date. The thought of going on a date with Tails made her cheeks flush up again into a tomato. Just the two of them, going out somewhere…alone. Well, of course they won't be entirely alone. There will be other people there to see the show, but it will be just the two of them. Not Sonic, not Amy, just Tails and her. Oh, how exciting!

"That's perfect, thank you mama!"

Vanilla smiles. "You're welcome dear, now please eat your breakfast before it gets cold."

0000

Later that day, Cream was standing in line to grab some Ice Princess tickets for her and Tails to attend. The sign before entering the area said that people between the ages 10-17 pay $10 or $13 for two people attending together to get in. Luckily for Cream, she had exactly $15 to spend on those tickets. This was all she had left from her savings from birthdays, Christmases, other holidays. She had spent most of it on other gifts for her friends, and Christmas decorations.

"Two tickets to see the Ice Princess please." Cream says politely to the girl selling the tickets. The women nodded and goes to print off some tickets for them, but the printer made a weird soft sound. Causing the rabbit's eyes to drop sadly. Oh please…don't go wrong, again!

"I'm sorry sweetie, but it looks like we're all sold out for the Ice Princess. What's left for shows are things that are 18+, which I assume you're not over eighteen?" Cream shook her head sadly, a large frown forming onto her face.

"Okay...thanks anyways Miss." The lady selling the tickets looked at her with a sad smile, wishing she could do more for the cute girl, but they're sold out. There really isn't much she can do about that. The Ice Princess was a major hit for people her age or younger. It was live action ice skating, of course.

Cream walked away in depression, clutching her purse close to her side as she walked back to her mother's car that was waiting for her at the front of the area. Vanilla noticed her daughter's distress from miles away and already knew what was coming. She entered the car a few minutes later, shutting the door a bit harsher than usual.

"Sold out?" Vanilla asked softly, tilting her head. She got a nod in response and the older rabbit sighed.

"Oh sweetheart, that is very unfortunate. I'm so sorry."

Cream sat back in her seat rubbing her eyes, they felt weak, tired. Everything was just falling apart. Finding something for Tails that was perfect, seemed impossible at this point. But she wasn't going to give up.

It was Christmas Eve now, the clock seemed to be mocking Cream endlessly. The ticking sound from her mother's clock in the living room was making the rabbit's head hurt. She hadn't heard from Tails in a few days, that's because she was trying to make it seem more like a surprise for when she found a gift. The last thing Tails had said to her was that he was lonely. They were speaking on the telephone, and Tails was explaining that it was lonesome whenever Sonic was going on his weekly runs and wouldn't come back for a few days. Leaving the fox by himself in an empty home.

Since then, however, she hadn't heard from him. Normally, they would talk on the phone at least once a day. The same went with Cream and Amy, or Cream and Rouge. Amy and Rouge always gave the youngest girl great advice whenever she was feeling depressed like this. The other friends were easy to shop for. For Amy, she had gotten her this silky pink night dress she had her eye on for a while from Station Square Secrets. And she had gotten Amy a beautiful lilac dress with a blue ribbon in the middle, with some high quality pink high heel boots to match.

For Rouge, she had gotten her some famous singer perfume she had been eyeing as well. With a high quality (and also very expensive!) make up kit that she also wanted for a long time.

One thing about Cream is that she LOVED spoiling her friends. Of course, they did the same for her as well. Except Cream was a giver, not a receiver. She loved receiving gifts, any girl does but watching her friends' reactions to her gifts she bought them were the icing of the cake. She got Sonic and Knuckles the same gift just different sizes. Which were pajama sets with some toiletry stuff. You can never have too many toiletry stuff!

Vanilla was the easiest to shop for. Cream had gotten her mother a canvased art piece that had a photo of her, Vanilla, and Cheese posing for a photo in a beautiful floral background. This piece would go perfectly on their living room wall. Cheese got some foods from the local market for his gift along with a ball to play with, and a floaty so he could go swimming with Cream.

Right now, the young girl was getting ready for her last try for getting Tails a gift. She was putting on some earmuffs so her long ears wouldn't freeze. Along with a sweater and some boots. With winter gloves instead of her regular gloves. Things were still open, yes. Except not for much longer. The time was ticking. The clock read 4:00pm. Cream had only an hour or so to fly her way into town, since her mother couldn't bring her today.

She was busy doing some last-minute shopping as well.

"Okay Cheese, here we go!" Cream declares, using her ears to fly into the air. Her earmuffs weren't stopping her from flying, which was weird. And off they went. Twenty minutes later Cream and Cheese made it into town. The middle of town to be Frank.

Because it was Christmas Eve, the streets were super busy. Cars were causing so much traffic, meanwhile there were so many people shoving against each other on the sidewalk. Cream tried her best to avoid everybody, apologizing whenever she accidentally hit somebody on the sidewalk. She was kind of in a rush, to get to the accessory store.

Her next and final plan was to get something made for Tails. Her mother gave her, her credit card and told her to not worry about paying her back. Just get something special for Tails. That was nice of her, and super important. Now Cream can get something specially made by somebody else for Tails. Gasps were heard from her mouth when she saw the shop closing, the manager was just locking the door from outside. Cream sped up a bit, getting herself to stand right in front of the store manager. She panted a bit when she got there.

"Mister please, please don't close I have to get something from your shop for my very special friend Tails." Cream says in between large pants. The store manager sighed deeply, shaking his head.

"Sorry kid, rules are rules. I must get home to my family for Christmas too, you know. Merry Christmas." Was all he said before he was walking down the sidewalk with his hands in his pockets. Whistling.

Cream looked down at the ground sadly. Hearing the clock tower in town play a Christmas song, indicating that it was 5p.m. Sonic and the crew would be at their house for Christmas dinner by 6. They're bringing their presents over and staying the night at Cream and Vanilla's house. This was the worst thing ever. All of her friends would be over by six o'clock and she doesn't have a gift for her best friend in the whole world, yet. This was her final option, and idea, but now she blew it.

Everything else seemed to be closing around this time also, lots of shops were closing from the looks of it for the holiday hours. Cream scuffed her foot against the ground in distress as she walked down the sidewalk. Well, guess it was time to go home. While she walked, she was trying to find reasons and excuses to tell Tails when he asked why she didn't get him a gift. No, that wouldn't happen. Tails didn't care if he got gifts or not, he wasn't that type of guy.

However, Cream wanted to make this Christmas so special for him. To show just how much she loved him and cared for him.

Cream nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard some barking coming from just down the street.

This younger lady was trying to get people to buy her puppy. Or…it seemed like she was trying to sell her puppy. The puppy was a light brown colour with floppy ears. It was a small dog. Who looked friendly and trained? The girl walked over to where the women was and gave her a small wave.

"Hello there, Miss., May I ask what you're doing?" Cream asked politely. The woman looked at Cream with a large smile on her face in return.

"Hello there! I'm trying to find somebody who will give my dear puppy a forever home. Unfortunately, my mom and I cannot take care of her anymore due to our home situation." She explains.

The rabbit's eyes widened as her face lit up happily, only to frown a few seconds after.

"That sounds great! I would take her…but I don't have any money." Cream only has the $15 in her purse that she had left plus a credit card. Which wouldn't work. The lady looked back at Cream and started to laugh a little.

"No silly! I'm not looking for peoples' money. All I care about is that my Chocolate gets a good home. That's all that matters to me." Chocolate was such a cute name for a dog. It really matched, for this dog is a brown colour with brown eyes. Cream's heart skipped a beat at the statement, this was her chance!

"I'll take her! Chocolate would be going to such an amazing home. You see, all week long I have been searching for the perfect present for my best friend Tails, and I had so many bad things happen while trying to get him a gift. He's always telling me about how lonely he is at home by himself when his best friend isn't there so I would love to give Chocolate a new home." Cream gushes out, blushing a little once realizing she ranted about her life to yet another stranger.

Fortunately for Cream, the kind lady nodded happily.

"That sounds great! I'm sure he would love Chocolate in his home. She's fully trained outside and loves attention. Cuddling and playing are her specialty."

Cream almost jumped out of her skin she was so happy. Without further ado, the lady picked up Chocolate from the box she was sitting in and handed her to Cream. The dog licked her face happily, causing the girl to giggle.

"Oh, thank you so much Miss! You just made my whole Christmas." The lady thanked Cream in return for promising to give Chocolate a good home before waving goodbye.

Cream called a Taxi and used her remaining $15 to get home. She didn't want to carry this baby puppy in her hands while she was flying through the air. Chocolate licked her face the whole ride back, but it didn't matter because Cream felt like she was on cloud nine. Her Christmas to Tails was now saved.

When arriving home, Cream managed to get there on time before her friends got there. Vanilla cooed when seeing her daughter come home with a puppy for Tails. She thought it was a wonderful idea! Together they put a Christmas bow over Chocolate's neck t be Tails' present. Ten minutes later there was a knock on the door. Cream quickly moved upstairs to hide Chocolate in her bedroom, moving to answer the door right after.

The sound of Amy and Rouge came through her living room.

"Merry Christmas Eve!" They cheered out together, hugging Cream tightly. The three of them did like a girl group hug, with Cream returning the hug.

"Merry Christmas Eve. Where are the boys?" Cream asked curiously. Her question was answered shortly by Sonic and Knuckles coming through the front door with two garbage bags full of presents. Tails following behind them carrying some food to have that evening after dinner.

His face lit up happily when he saw Cream standing in her living room helping Sonic and Knuckles put the wrapped presents under the tree along with Cream and Vanilla's wrapped presents that were already under.

"Thanks for coming everybody." Cream says happily to everybody when they sat down for dinner at the table. After that, the girls helped Vanilla clean up the kitchen and they watched Christmas movies, sang, and danced for the remaining of Christmas Eve.

The next morning finally came, Cream was the first one awake. Because Chocolate woke her up by kissing her face all over. She giggled tenderly, rubbing her tired eyes while getting out of bed. Downstairs in the living room, Vanilla had gotten two blow out mattresses out for the friends to sleep on. With Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles sleeping on the one. And Amy and Rouge sleeping on the other.

Cream made her way downstairs in her Christmas pajamas that her mother gave her for Christmas Eve, it was tradition, with the matching bunny slippers. When looking at the time on the clock, it read 7:30a.m. That is a good time to be waking up for Christmas.

"Wake up everybody! It's Christmas!" Cream cheers, turning on the living room light. There were a few groans coming from Sonic and Knuckles, but Amy and Rouge were easy to wake up. Tails grinned at Cream, loving her excitement. Vanilla came downstairs a few seconds after Cream's outburst and giggled at her daughter.

"Good morning everybody, I'm just going to turn on the kettle for some tea then we shall open gifts."

Everybody agreed at that. Then it happened. Cream sat next to Tails as she scurried through presents, reading the tag from who it might be from before she handed it to the person it was directed to. That was another positive about the rabbit. She always made sure everybody else had their gift opened before she did. Amy screamed with joy when opening Cream's gift to her.

"Oh, Cream! I have been eyeing this nightgown and this outfit for ages. Thank you so much!"

Rouge was next. Her eyes opened and she dropped the present with shock.

"Oh my…Cream. Hun, you are amazing. This is what I always wanted. I too, have been eyeing this for a while." She says, admiring the make up kit along with the perfume.

Sonic and Knuckles both gave Cream friendly hugs after expressing their thanks when opening their gifts as well. Vanilla teared up when opening hers, sobbing quietly into the younger rabbit's t-shirt once pulling her into a hug.

Cheese gave Cream a peck on the cheek with a side hug as his thanks for his Christmas gift.

And now there was the best for last. Tails.

This was the moment she was waiting for! This entire week she was waiting for this moment to happen. Getting up from the ground where she was sitting, Cream hurried to her bedroom to find Chocolate sitting patiently on her bed. Behaving like a good puppy. Eyeing around her bedroom, Cream hums when finding a large Christmas box in her closet.

She carefully placed Chocolate in and placed the top over her. She struggled to get down the stairs with the box, but managed. Everybody watched intensely as Cream placed Tails' gift gently in front of him. He provided a warm smile to her. Nearly jumping out of his skin when he saw his present move.

He watched with widened eyes as he slowly pulled up the lid of the box. Only to be attacked with kisses by a lightly coloured brown dog. Tails' laughs were heard all throughout the room as he held the dog gently in his arms. Cream watched him carefully and nervously, giggling when he pets the dog happily.

"Now whenever Mister Sonic is away for a few days, you don't have to be lonely or alone. You have Chocolate with you now. She's turning three years old and is fully trained outside." Cream explains bashfully, her cheeks turning red.

Tails placed Chocolate on the ground and Vanilla let her outside to use the bathroom. He pulled Cream into a big hug, running a hand up and down her back lovingly. Her gift almost brought tears to his eyes. It was so thoughtful. He mentioned a lot about how lonely he was all the time; Cream really took it into consideration. The rabbit returned the hug gracefully, placing her head on Tails' shoulder.

"Thank you so much Cream, this was the best gift anybody could have ever given me. I love it!"

A sigh of relief was heard. Good. He loved her present.

She took and wasted a lot of time trying to get the perfect present for him. Everybody around them cooed, they were so cute together. Anybody with eyes could definitely see that Tails and Cream were meant for each either, and would end up married someday.

"You're welcome Tails." Cream whispered into his shoulder.

"Cream! Its time for you to open your gifts from us finally, girlie!" Amy and Rouge gushed at the same time.

The girl finally pulled away from Tails, who gave her a grin with a thumbs up. Which is Sonic's specialty.

First was Amy's gift. It was neatly wrapped in a small pink box. Upon opening it, Cream's eyes widened, and she almost dropped the gift. Because on the inside of the box—were two tickets to see the Ice Princess. Amy wiggled her eyes suggestively at Cream.

"We are both lucky I managed to get those! I got the last two." Amy says cheerfully, causing Cream to burst out laughing. Oh, so THAT'S why they were sold out when she went. Now she can take Tails out for sure!

Another box from Amy was the outfit to wear whenever she goes with Tails. Amy winked at her after seeing the rabbit's face turn a bright red. It was a beautiful yellow sundress with flowers on a pattern at the sides. After thanking Amy and giving her a hug, Cream opened Rouge's gifts.

Which, when opened, revealed a beautiful glass sculpture of Cheese and Cream together. With some polish to go with it to keep it clean. Cream hugged Rouge also, very tightly, thanking her a million times. It was such a thoughtful and beautiful gift.

Sonic and Knuckles pitched in to get Cream train tickets to go to a resort in the next town over. Which was also another great gift. Goodness, everybody was just spoiling her! With yet another hug, she thanked both Sonic and Knuckles for thinking of her.

Vanilla and Cheese got Cream lots of gifts. Gift cards for the mall, clothing, toys. Cooking/Baking ingredients. Flower and crop seeds for her garden, etc. All in which were wonderful.

Finally, the best for last again. Tails.

Tails nervously hands Cream a small box with shaky hands. The colour on his cheeks were bright. Cream smiled widely when seeing the gift, slowly ripping open the beautiful Christmas wrapping to reveal a purple box. When taking off the lid, Cream gasped loudly. Her whole world felt like it was on the moon.

Inside the box was a gorgeous shiny gold heart shaped necklace. With the words, 'to my beloved Cream' engraved in it. Tears swell up into Cream's eyes. Happy tears, of course.

"Open it." Tails whispered, cutting off her thoughts. Nodding her head, Cream opened the heart locket to reveal a picture of her and Tails on the inside.

Amy and Rouge were gushing in the background, while Sonic and Knuckles were wolf whistling. This has got to be, the prettiest gift anybody has ever given her. So much thought was clearly put into this. Tails looked like he made it himself. He probably did.

"I don't know what to say…I'm speechless, thank you so much Tails." The fox helped the young girl put the necklace around her neck, clipping it in the back happily. It fit perfectly and looked stunning around her pretty neck.

A bit later, everybody was having fun around Vanilla's house for their Christmas party. Sonic had gotten Amy a glass rose much like the one from Beauty and the Beast, so now the pink hedgehog was kissing him all over his face—much to his embarrassment. Rouge and Knuckles were cuddling on the couch, Rouge kissed Knuckles' cheek tenderly. Also, to his embarrassment.

Vanilla was in the kitchen with Cheese making dinner, and Cream was admiring her new necklace in the tall mirror in front of her. Tails stood behind her, blushing harshly.

"I'm glad you love your gift." His voice made her jump a bit, but she soon relaxed. She nodded her head.

"I do. I love it. Thank you."

Vanilla wasn't around them to watch, thank goodness. Cream wrapped her arms around Tails' neck. Thinking about her actions for a moment. He draped his arms around her waist in return, looking deeply into her eyes. All was heard then was the ticking of the clock on the wall. Cream bit her lip, thinking about what she was about to do.

Before she knew it, she was pressing her lips against Tails' quickly. It didn't last more than a few seconds, but he did kiss her back. Pulling away quickly, Cream blushed a deep red the most she's ever blushed. Taking off into the kitchen.

"Coming mama!" Even though Vanilla didn't call her.

Tails stayed back, his heart pounding happily into his chest. That was his first kiss—probably hers too. It felt amazing to experience it with somebody you truly love. He placed a hand over his lips and smiled bashfully.

Merry Christmas Cream and Tails.

A/N: Hello again! Thanks for reading my second chapter. Again, I'm deeply sorry for some scenes really dragging on. I tend to do that a lot. I'm TOO detailed.

Yes, I referred to Station Square Secret as Victoria Secrets hahahahah.

Thank you so much to my IRL best friend for proofreading this for me. Although she isn't a fan of the Sonic universe, she was still willing to proofread this for me. I'm forever grateful. Please leave a review expressing your thoughts and some requests from the rules I provided at the top.

Thanks again for reading, it means a lot to me.

Until next time!
