Hey guys, I know you all have been hoping that I'd update soon. Here is my update for you guys, and I want to reassure you that I have not forgotten this fanfic. I want to give you guys the good news that I am continuing this story, and in fact, I am giving it a complete rewrite. I am overhauling the entire original story. I plan on going further back into the contents of the film and book, and completely rehashing them. I will not be updating on this website any further. All of my stories and series will now be on Archive of Our Own, AO3. That format is much more suitable for the serialized story-telling method I like.
I am not taking down this story. I will leave it up as a kind of memorial to the writer I was before. I was eighteen years old when I started this fanwork, and I couldn't be more grateful that I started it. Three years later, I am now 21 years old, and I have done a lot of growing and maturing as an author.
The first chapter of the new version of this story will be put up sometime in late December. I have no date set in mind, because I am juggling numerous other stories I have invested time in. I want to thank everyone here for sticking by me all this time, including those of you who many have forgotten my story by now. I respect all of you, and my new version of this story is a gift for all of you.
