CHAPTER TWO

Peter awoke in his bedroom and checked his phone to see that it was 5'o clock, he had about three hours before school, he got out of bed, took up a towel and went towards the bathroom. While walking he reached his sister's room and knocked on her door and said "Yo, you have school today so hurry up and get ready." Once he heard a faint 'okay' he walked off to the bathroom.

After a nice cool shower Peter went downstairs to see Aunt May "Good morning madam, and how are you today?" "Oh, I'm fine Peter I was just wondering how we're going to get money." She said with a rather stressed tone "Aunt May I can get a job you know." Peter responded "Oh no you don't young man. You need to focus on school." "But- "Peter was cut off "No buts! I will find job you focus on school and get an education." Peter eventually realized that he was defeated "Now Peter tell your sister to come downstairs please.".

Peter and Teresa walk out the door and went onto the school bus, upon entering the bus they immediately see how lively it is, Liz Allen talking to her cheerleading friends about prom, Flash and his football teammates talking about things that Peter doesn't care about, paper balls being thrown around the place and screaming, a lot of screaming. Teresa hears a girl calling out to her she turns her head to see Anya Corazon a short girl who is about the same age as Teresa, she is Hispanic and she has been best friends with Teresa for 10 years now, "Teresa! Teresa! Over here! "Teresa ran off, Peter walked to the back of the bus and saw Mj and Harry, he sat beside them "Ayo Pete! Remember the fair tomorrow?" Harry questioned his friend "Yeah I remember, Mj and I get free access, right?" Peter responded "Yup! Front row seats!" Peter laughed at the answer but quieted down when the loudest one of the trio Mj has been mysteriously quiet this whole time "Yo Mj, you okay?" Peter inquired Mj stopped looking at her phone and looked at her friend "Oh, sorry Pete, what's going on?" Mj mummered "Harry said that we would get front seats to the science fair and what were you doing on your phone?" Peter probed "Um, I'm trying to find a birthday present for Gayle's birthday, but everything is way too goddamn expensive." Mj answered.

The bus door opened revealing a girl with short brunette hair she was wearing a tank top and short shorts, the girl walked up to Mary Jane and spoke "Whaddup lil' sis!" the girl then hugged her "Hi Gayle." Mj muttered in a very embarrassed tone, Gayle sat down between Mj and Peter greeting the latter.

"Yo Peter how's Teresa." Gayle blurted out while simultaneously patting him on his head "Uh, hello Gayle could you please stop messing up my hair?" Gayle then turned her head to look at Harry "Hey." Harry boldly stated, Gayle looked at Harry with a disgusted look on her face then got up and went to sit with the other cheerleaders "Welp at least I tried." Harry looked beside of him and saw Mj and Peter laughing their ass off.

New York

It was rainy day in New York, "C'mon Max it's raining we gotta go!" shouted a line installer, Max shouted back "C'mon you scared of a little rain!" he then continued fixing the powerline "I'm not scared of rain but I'm scared of thunder and you are going to get struck if you don't come down!" Max ignoring his co-worker continues working until lighting struck.

Midtown High

Teresa and Anya walk through the school hallways, "Hey Teresa who are you going to go to prom with?" Anya asked, Teresa who is not listening starts thinking about something "Hey Anya have you noticed anything about Peter?" Teresa questioned her friend Anya "What do you mean?" Anya answers, Teresa continues "Well, he always gets home late and sometimes he comes home covered in bruises."
"Well it could be Flash and his jock friends" Anya suggests "No it can't be them 3 months ago he kicked all their asses" Teresa started thinking "Hey what if he's Spider-man?" Teresa thought, it could be a possibility and could also explain why after the day he got sick he bulked up and can suddenly do backflips, but she'll worry about that later.

New York City Hospital

"C'MON, C'MON! LET'S GO!" Shouted a paramedic, Max fell in and out of consciousness, his entire body was aching, and he felt like he was on fire.

He felt like he was going to die and then suddenly he fell asleep

New York

It was raining and Peter knew washing his costume would freaking hell, then Peter got to thinking "How the hell would I get money? I know Aunt May told me not to worry but I can't stop thinking about it." He said to himself, before Uncle Ben died he and Aunt May could barely pay the bills, but now that he's gone our family is in a world of debt, he's heard Aunt May literally screaming at the phone about something and sometimes he sees some shady guys in suits with beanies drive past their house? What the hell was Uncle Ben involved in? He's gotta ask May about this, but he's gotta pay attention to what he's doing now.

Peter put on his mask and turned on his police radio "Assault at Chinatown units near the area please engage." Spider-man jumped of the building and swung to the sight of danger.

Watson Household

Mj walked through the door of her house and made her way upstairs to her room. While sitting in her room she looked out her window to see that Peter is not in his room. "Huh? Shouldn't he be home by now?" then suddenly Mary-Jane saw something weird… some shady looking guys with black suits just drived past Peter's house and they were just staring at it like they were inspecting it.

The car finally passed the house and Mj was trying to process what she just saw. "Who were those guys?" she thought, ever since Mr Parker died those guys were always driving past their house. "I should tell Peter about this." So, she picked up her phone and went to texting

MJ: Hey Pete, I saw some guys in black suits drive past your house. They looked pretty shady

Pete: Wait, you saw them too? They drive past every week.

Harry: What the hell are you guys talking about?

Mj: Some guys keep on driving by Peter's house. They wore black suits with sunglasses and Beanies.

Harry: Beanies? Were they both wearing them?

Pete: Yeah, I think so.

Harry: Then they're apart of the Hammerhead Crime Family. Your Uncle probably owes them money Pete and since he's dead they're pressuring your Aunt for money.

Mj: Wtf, how do you know this?

Harry: I read it off Wikipedia

Pete: Why would Aunt May not want me to know about this. Um... guys I gotta go. I'll talk to you guys later.

New York

Spider-man swung through the air in a not so good mood "Ok, now I really need answers, what the fuck was Uncle Ben doing with the Mafia? How long was he working for them? Alright I need to calm down and get some sleep and ask Aunt May tomorrow."

Parker Household

Spider-Man crawled inside his room and took off his mask "Finally I'm home, now I ca-" Peter suddenly felt his head throb in pain, not knowing where the danger's coming from he looks around "Holy shit. You're SPIDER-MAN!"
