THE SPIDER-MAN
CHAPTER THREE
Teresa looked at her older brother with amazement, he's Spider-man, her brother was THE Spider-man "Teresa, what are you doing in my room?" Peter mummered out with a hint of annoyance in his voice "Well ever since the day you got bitten by that weird spider, you've been able lift things you aren't supposed to, you have superhuman speed and you can do crazy backflips!" Teresa exclaimed "Can you stop shouting! If people find out who I am, you and Aunt May will get hurt or killed and I can't live with myself if that happens. So please, don't tell anyone." Peter whispers with a worried expression "Alright fine, but can I tell-" "This isn't a joke Teresa." Peter blurted out cutting her off "Now please, leave my room." Peter demanded and thus Teresa once again left her Brother's room.
Peter then fully took off his costume, fell in his bed and drifted of too sleep. Tomorrow was another day.
New York City HospitalMax Dillion awoke in a hospital room, his vision was blurry and the room was kind of bright, he looked down on his body and then he realized that he was glowing, Holy Hell he was GLOWING, "AHHHHHH!" Max screamed as loud as he could, a nurse came running and gasped at the sight of the man cackling with electricity, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME! WHAT DID DO!" Other nurses came inside the room to hold him down "What's wrong with him! Why is he Glowing!" shouted a female nurse with Max screaming in the background "I don't know just ho-" Suddenly a large explosion of electricity shocked (Get it?) the hospital.
Captain Stacy arrived at the hospital and walked up to lieutenant Jean DeWolff "Morning DeWolff, can you tell me the situation?" Stacy asked, "Well sir, Maxwell Dillion was an electrical engineer who got struck by lightning, woke up and started screaming, when a nurse came into the room, she saw that he was glowing." Jean responded, "He was… what?" Stacy said absolutely bewildered "Yup, found it hard to believe too." Jean answered, "Jesus Christ, ever since that Spider-Man came on to the scene New York went to hell, anyway finish the report Jean." Stacy asked DeWolff complied "Other nurses came into the room to calm him down and a surge of electrical coming from Dillion killed the nurses."
"Alright so we have a guy who is pretty much a spider and a guy who can use electricity. *sigh* What happened to this city." Captain Stacy said while walking away.
The Next Day Oscorp IndustriesHarry after texting Peter and Mj that the fair is starting soon he decided to walk around the place, while looking he sees a lot of interesting things: A wing suit of some kind, some weird looking gauntlets and a wasp suit. He kept on walking until he saw a weird looking room with a vial with green liquid inside right as he was about to touch it "Harry, what are you doing in here?" Norman questioned, "OH! Hey dad." Harry muttered in scared tone "Why are you sticking your nose where shouldn't be, boy?" Norman said in a condescending tone "I- I can expl- " Harry was cut off "So, instead of being a productive student like your friend Peter, You decide to be nosy? I recommend you leave this room if you know what's good for you." Harry silently left the room.
Parker HouseholdPeter walked down the stairs and started to look for Aunt May to Hopefully find some answers "Aunt May!?" Peter shouted "Yes?" May answered "May I gotta ask you something. Why is the mafia driving past our house?".
Aunt May froze, how did he know she thought. Weighing out her options, she decided to tell him the situation, "Peter *sigh*, call your sister downstairs, I need to tell you two something.". After calling down Teresa, both she and Peter sit down and May begins "Ever since your Parents died you came here to live with us, since Ben and I were already low on money already we decided that we should find better sources of income to support you both. So, before you too got here, Ben got involved with the maggia. Ever since then we have been borrowing money from them." May begins to cry "Now since they killed Ben, they have been pressuring me for payment." Peter and Teresa are absolutely bewildered "Uncle Ben was involved with the Mafia." Teresa said in shock "May, why won't you just tell the police?" Peter asked, "Because they said if I tell, they'll kill you two." Aunt May said "Even so May it's better to let the police know so that they can protect us." Teresa jumped in.
May thought about it and eventually agreed. She took up the phone and dialled 911, telling the police about her situation.
MEANWHILE.Max ran and kept on running until he stopped to get rest and then fully examined his body to see that sparks of electricity came from him "Now that I think about this looks pretty cool." Then suddenly he got an idea, he thrusted his hand forward and a bolt of lightning came out "hahahahaHaHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Max Laughed, he had powers! This must have happened when he got struck by lightning, he was unstoppable. But now he had an Idea "Oscorp has that science fair going on. I should raid the place to get more energy." And off he flew.
OSCORP.Peter and Mj walked into the building to see exhibits displaying many different gadgets and materials. "Hey Pete, um, what happened with the mafia situation?" Mj asked "Well May told us that she was calling the police, so I guess I'll see them when I get home back. Anyway, when is your dad coming back from his business trip?" Peter asked her back "He'll be back in two weeks or so, but here comes the true Question Mr. Parker who is your date to prom?" Mj responded, Peter ignoring her question grabbed her hand and said "Alrighty Mj lets go get our front seats before they get taken, c'mon!"
Peter and Mj sat down in their seat, and Harry followed soon after.
A green light covered the stadium, it was bright so no one could see the curtains open.
"Hello everybody!" A voice called out.
The light died down revealing Norman Osborn. The audience applause
"Good morning everybody! It is so nice to see you all here! Today I will show you some inventions Oscorp has made to show you in this fair I shall show them now."
Number 1: Vibro Shock Gauntlets
Number 2: Superhuman Flight Suit
And Finally, the:
Number 3: The Superhuman Charging Suit
"These Super suits and gadgets will be used in the military to hopefully give us the edge in war. Now we will be discussing the suits abilities." Norman said.
An assistant came out to explain "The gauntlets can shoot out concussive blasts to knock away enemies. The flight suit gives you flight and superhuman strength and speed. The charge suit gives massive superhuman speed and strength with boosters to gain more speed.".
"That sounds pretty cool actually. Wonder when it will be released to the public." Mj said
"You always want to know these things Mj, why can't you just be a normal person and enjoy the show?" Harry questioned
"Well I guess that I have a lot of curiosity. I do want to become a reporter." Mj states proudly.
"*sigh* How did we become friends?" Peter mummered
KABOOOM!The sound of the explosion rung across the building everyone in the audience looked around confused.
"What's happening?".
"What the fuck was that noise?".
"Did something happen?"
A multitude of people were asking questions until a bright yellow light came blasting through the wall
Many people started to scream and panic and, in the chaos, Max grabbed Norman and flew off.
"DAD!" Harry screamed. Mj turned to see Norman being carried away. She looked around for Peter but didn't see him anywhere. "Pete! Peter where are you!" She shouted.
NEW YORKSpider-Man swung through the city to catch up to Max "C'mon whoever you are, Glow man, Electric -Man or wait! I have a perfect name! ELECTRO, I'm gonna call you that from now on." Spidey shouted.
"BUZZ OFF BUG! If you know what's good for you, leave me alone!" Electro screamed out in anger while shooting out a lightning bolt.
Spider-Man dodged the bolt and kept on swinging, "Dude, let go of Mr Osborn and put on those hand-cuffs!" Spider-Man quipped again.
"You want to drop Osborn then I'll drop Osborn alright!" Electro said as he let go of Osborn. Spidey leaped off his web and grabbed Osborn and landed on a building.
"You okay Mr Osborn?" Spider-Man asked.
"Yes, I am fine. Now go get that bastard." Norman responded.
Spidey leaped of building following Electro.
After shooting multiple bolts of lightning at Spider-Man to slow, Electro finally reached his destination and turned around to face his pursuer.
"Electro you gotta stop running man, you are seriously tiring me out!" Spidey said as he shot out a web onto Electro and pulled himself towards the glowing man ready to connect his fist with his face, but suddenly time slowed down enough to see a bolt of lightning from Electro's hands coming slowly but surely at him. Seeing that he dodged.
"WHAT!? HOW DID YOU DODGE LIGH-" Electro was cut off by sucker punch to the face.
"Wow, your electricity is really slow du- ACK!" Spider-Man said as he got blasted to a bolt of Lightning and sent flying into a smokestack.
"Must get more power. Too weak." Electro said as he flew away towards the powerplant.
"Nuh-uh, you good sir, is not going anywhere." Spider-Man shouted out as he gave chase.
Seeing this Electro flew faster and started shoot out multiple lightning bolts at his pursuer. Spider-Man dodged them all but one hit a building causing debris to fall onto the street with many people on it, Spider-Man shot out a large collective mass of webs to stop the debris and kept on swinging.
Electro finally reached the powerplant and started to absorb the electricity.
"YES! I CAN FEEL THE POWER, COURSING THROUGH MY VEINS!" Electro screamed out. The bright New York suddenly went dark.
"Dude, I am going need you to stop doing what you're doing!" Spider-Man shouted as he kicked Electro in the face and into another smokestack. Angered Electro bursts out the rubble with explosive speed colliding with the web head causing a large electrical explosion.
Spider-Man was sent flying at tremendously high speeds slamming into a wall, splat on the ground Spidey went, "Ow. That hurt you jerk!" Spider-Man winced.
By now the police had arrived and started shooting at the literal power battery, George Stacy hid behind his cop car occasionally firing shots at Electro "That glowing bastard will bring down this whole plant if we don't stop him." Captain Stacy said.
Spider-Man saw the Captain Stacy, then he got an idea. He swung over to him, "Hey, listen I know we are not the best of friends." Stacy immediately pointed his gun at the masked vigilante "But I need your help to stop this guy Captain." Spider-Man spoke. Captain Stacy gave Spider-Man a stern stare and then sighed "Fine. But this is the first and last time you got that!" Stacy said to the web head.
"Great! Now here's the plan." Spidey said enthusiastically.
Electro began absorbing more energy and now he felt truly invincible. "Once I kill that Spider-punk New York has to bend to my will, then I can accomplish my true dream becoming pure energy." Suddenly a device came flying towards Electro, not thinking any of it he ignores it, which was a decision he'd soon to regret because as the device came near his face, it exploded blinding. Spider-Man comes in taking advantage of the battery's blindness swing kicks Electro onto a building rooftop. Electro still blind feels a barrage of punches and kicks to body, realizing he might not be able to resist these punches any longer starts randomly shooting out electricity to keep his enemy at bay.
Spider-Man dodged most of the lightning bolts with grace, seeing an opening Spidey shot out a web line onto Electro's torso, slingshot himself towards the battery and dropkicking Electro in the face. This kick sent Electro into a wall knocking the glow man out "Have sweet dreams at the raft Electro!" Spider-Man shouted out while swinging away.
"Captain the Spider is getting away." Jean said "It's alright Lieutenant, let him go. We have another superhuman to lock up." Captain Stacy responded.
OSCORP INDUSTRIESMj was worried. First a glowing man comes out of nowhere and takes Mr Osborn, then suddenly Peter is gone.
Harry was in much more stressful situation. His father was gone, taken and his best friend is gone too. He felt like he gonna burst into tears.
Fortunately, their worries would soon subside as Peter came running out the building with an old lady "You sure you okay ma'am?" Peter asked, "Yes I'm fine dear." The lady replied, then Peter sent her on her merry way, suddenly saw Mj running towards him "Oh, hey Mj ho-" Before he could say anything else she hugs him "Where were you! Why do you smell burnt?" She asked.
"Um, I was helping the old lady and some electricity burnt my hair." Peter responded.
"I'm just glad your okay tiger." Mj muttered out relived.
Peter saw Harry and walked up to him, "Peter, Thank GOD! I thought you were dead man!" Harry shouted fully crying now.
"Jesus Harry, can you like, stop getting your eye juices on me please." Peter mummered out rather unamused, gaining a chuckle from Mj. A police officer came up to the Harry.
"Excuse me, are you Mr Osborn's son?" The officer asked, "If so, please come with me."
"Um, o-okay." Harry followed.
"Hey Pete. I think you should get home, May's probably worried sick." Mj said
"I'll do that, but you should too, you have a sister and a father worrying about your safety." Peter remarked.
"Pft. Okay, text you when I get home. Bye Peter." Mj said as the two went their separate ways.
Parker HouseholdPeter walked for what felt like hours, "I should really make the capacity for these webshooters a lot bigger." he thought, he turned the corner and saw police near Aunt May's apartment building
"What the?" Immediately Peter started running home.
After running up 5 flights of stairs finally reaches apartment number 1962 (which is where he lives) and see 2 police officers there. One of them turned around revealing Captain Stacy.
"Evening son, come inside." The Captain greeted; Peter obeying goes inside.
Peter while walking in he sees Aunt May talking to lieutenant Jean DeWolff. Stacy pat Peter on his shoulder and told him "C'mon son I gotta ask you and your sister some questions.".
"Yes sir, right behind you." Peter said.
"Since you informed us about the mafia terrorizing your family, we will have officers watching your home at all times, that means that you two will also be watched everywhere you go same with your aunt, do you understand?" The Captain explained.
"Yes sir." Both siblings said.
"Good. Now please do not leave our sight, Those Italian bastards probably know that we are protecting you, and because of that, they are going to try and find anyway to get to you guys. Do you understand?".
"YES SIR!" Both siblings shout while saluting.
The captain chuckled and continued questioning.
SOMEWHERE NEAR THE HOUSEHOLD.Two men with beanies sat on a rooftop.
"Well lookie here, they called the police." One thug said
"Looks like they did. I'll call the boss and tell him that the hag broke our deal." The other thug said.
"Yeah, they'll know what happens when you don't give us what we want." The thug said with malicious intent.
