Now here's where the blood flies.
These chapters are gonna have a lot more fun with the whole "Mindless Crossover" aspect of it all.
Not much to say here. Enjoy!
Warning: Due to the graphic nature of one of the games, there will be bloodshed, alongside some naughty no-no words. You've been warned.
Flynn was more ready than he ever was for this job.
After years of military training, he was finally ready to go on his first ever mission for the space marines. Ever since first hearing of his grandfather's heroic deeds back in WW2, he had always wanted to join the military. While moving into space was at first a bit of a roadblock, he eventually discovered the space marines, and had trained himself for it ever since.
Right in front of him was the marine ship picking him up for his first real mission. It was a giant, greyish green cargo ship, perfect for mass transport. Putting on his helmet, he was about to step onto the ship when someone yelled for him.
"Flynn, wait!"
The teenage girl ran up to him before he'd gotten on. "Came to say goodbye, Millie?", asked Flynn.
"No, i came to celebrate the fact that you're leaving us for a long ti- of corse i'm saying goodbye, you dummy!", Millie replied in a bittersweet tone. "I just wanted to make sure you don't forget your best friend before you leave."
"Don't worry, I'll visit whenever I can", he assured his friend, "It's just a bunch of security missions for beginners, how hard can it be?"
"Well, whatever you do, make sure to at least text me every now and then, Flynn", she replied.
"Hey, don't think I won't".
The two hugged it out for about a whole minute. During that minute, Millie thought to herself, "Should i just confess? What if he doesn't come back? Did i remember to feed Roger?" Before she could come to a decision, Flynn stops hugging her. "I should probably be going now. The next time you see me, you'll forget i was ever gone in the first place."
And, with a goodbye from each side, he left in the ship, which flew out of the atmosphere.
"Hopefully, he'll be back", Millie thought, "I mean, what's the worst that can happen?"
Yeah, she probably shouldn't've said that.
The Present Day...
Millie Ramirez was busy feeding her fence of Pink Slimes with carrots. As she shot them in, the Slimes scurried towards the food, chowing down and spitting out plorts, which she proceeded to suck up into her slime vacuum, so that she could sell the plorts online to get money, so she could expand the place to fit more slimes, so that she could become rich. That's pretty much what she did every day, weekend breaks and holidays notwithstanding.
Now, Millie loved her job despite how repetitive it sounded. Feeding the little guys took a lot more effort than you'd think, mostly just exploring the area to find food, which gave her an excuse to leave the house to explore and play with the other wild slimes. It could be a bit of a risky job, but hey, it makes things less boring.
However, every now and again she'd realize just how freakin lonely it was around here. The slimes, for as friendly as they are, aren't much for conversation, being animals and all, and her only other roommate, the family pet Tabby Slime Roger, was also a slime. There were also her frequent customers, but they were usually leaving a message. Hell, she was pretty sure one of the was also a slime!
As she was focusing on her job, something was watching her behind a bush, particularly eyeing her slimes. The creature watched as she went into her house, exhausted from the amount of slimes she had to count.
Inside, she wondered about how she could possibly fuse the Ice Slimes and the Fire Slimes together, mostly just to see what happens. As she was checking her calender for the date of her side job, she suddenly heard a loud screech from outside. From the sounds of it, it definitely wasn't one of her slimes. If anything, it sounded utterly inhuman.
When she got outside in a hurry, she saw that some...thing was eating her pink slimes. The sight of it was horrifying, but not because of the mass slime deaths currently happening (I mean, yeah, it was upsetting, but she never got to know them due to how many there were, and their plorbs didn't sell well, so it wasn't a huge loss). No, it was because of the creature doing the deed.
The thing was a giant, grey, muscular monstrosity who didn't look like it had eyes. It had razor sharp claws and its knees were bended slightly backwards like a goat. And those teeth... oh god, those teeth.
As Millie stared in fear, the monster turned to face her, having just noticed her coming back. Figuring the human were more tasty than mere blobs, the creature walked towards her, prepared to rip her to pieces. However, just as Millie comprehended what she was looking at, right before it lunged at her...
BANG.
"Rip and Tear, Until It is Done"
-Unknown, 2016
The Slayer had hit the Hell Knight right in the head with his shotgun, stunning it momentarily. The Slayer knew he couldn't afford to fight fair, seeing how demons could be just as crafty as he was, so he hit it with everything he had at the time. Using his shoulder-mounted flamethrower, he spat fire at the demon, causing it to get distracted by the flames currently covering its body. Before it could even react, the Slayer had pulled out his super shotgun and fired at its legs, blowing them off and causing the demon to fall to the ground.
Finally, the Slayer pulled out his chainsaw, and took a swing right to its head. It struggled to get it out of its face, but eventually the Slayer wone the struggle, slicing its head clean off and spraying blood everywhere. The Slayer was victorious.
"Rip and Tear", the marine though to himself, having barley made a sweat.
He looked around to see what collateral damage the fight had caused. As he expected, blood was everywhere, covering up not only the screens of the holographic cages, but also the bystander who unfortunately had to witness the short mauling. The slimes were also cheering, clearly loving the fight that just broke out, a fact that that only somewhat unnerved the slayer.
Before he left, however, he then realized that the bystander look familiar. He took a closer look at her.
As a result, he had never felt a bigger shock in quite a while.
Now, normally during battle, he vowed to never talk, as to not somehow worsen the situation. However, on his off days, he was perfectly fine with talking with people.
"Millie?"
Long story short, Millie had never had a shock that big in her life.
She'd recognized that accent anywhere. Sure, it's been 6 years, and the voice was a hell of a lot deeper, but it was still unmistakably him. Cautiously, she asked the one question that confirmed the marines own question:
"Flynn?"
Don't you guys just love cliffhangers?
These chapters are ones i plan to be both wholesome (Two childhood friends reuniting) and brutally violent (Because Doom)
They might be violent. They might be heartwarming. Heck, they could probably even be a little saucy.
A Few Facts:
- DoomSlayer's full name in this is Flynn Taggart Blaskovich, basically DoomGuy's name from the novels (Which are goddamn weird) and his maybe-canon name mashed together.
- Flynn has a Southern accent because why not.
- Millie's family hail from Latin-America, but because she grew up in Texas, she also has a bit of a southern drawl.
- Here, demons are so goddamn wrong that seeing one getting horrifically slaughtered is barley even traumatizing to people, though still not pleasant to look at. Flynn's not afraid to brutalize a human if they earn his wrath, though.
- Doom Eternal hasn't happened here, though things introduced in it (Particularly its demons and the Makyrs) will be used.
BTW, I haven't uploaded in a while, so i decided to release 2 chapters today to make up for it.
Next up: The island of Dr. Moreau, but with more puns!
