*Alright, here we go. Aftermath of the storm. Read on if you dare!*

Pain. That was the first thing Rosetta felt when she came to. Laying on her stomach, she saw broken furniture on one side and severed tree limbs on the other. She tried to get up, but something was keeping her down. The pain she felt intensified and then became a numbing sensation. Looking down, she gasped. Her left hand was gone. She looked around for it before seeing it a few inches from her. Extending out her good arm, she was just able to grab it. She began to panic as she tried again to get out.

"Help. Help! Owen? Dad? Uncle Buzz, anyone, help me!" She yelled. She listened but heard nothing. Resting her head on her good hand, she took a few deep breaths before trying to get up once again. She failed. Taking one more big deep breath, she began to try for a third attempt when she heard voices above her.

"Come on guys, let's check over here." The voice said. She knew that voice.

"Owen! Owen, I'm here!" She called out.

"Rose? Rose, where are you?" Owen asked.

"Here! I'm under here. I can't get out." She heard another voice.

"I hear her! She under this piece of metal!" She knew immediately who's voice that was. Good old Rex.

"Take a side, you high strung dino! We got to get her out of there!" That was Potato head's voice. He cares about me? That's new. She thought.

"Alright everyone, on three. One, two, three, lift!" Owen said. Soon, she felt the pressure leave and was able to wriggle out. She saw Chuckles hand and took it. He and Mrs. Potato Head helped her out.

"Oh Rosetta, dear. You're okay!" She said hugging her. Her sons were beside her, all un-scratched and engulfed her in a three way hug. Chuckles gave her a hug too.

"Good to see you, sweetie." He said.

"Rosetta!" She turned and saw Rex, Trixie, Hamm, and Mr. Potato Head. She hugged the dinosaurs and Hamm, but stood in front of Potato Head.

"I know, you probably don't want to hug me after what I said to your father. I wouldn't want to hug me either, since I was a jerk. I'm sorry, Rosetta." He said, kicking the dirt. Rose smiled.

"You were scared, Potato Head. We all were. We all knew what was going to happen, but we didn't want to accept it. No need to apologize." The spud smiled at her. Rose smiled back and gave him a small hug.

"Rose!" She turned for a second time and saw her husband. She rushed into his waiting arms. "Rosetta! Oh my love, I was so afraid I'd lost you."

"Owen. Thank goodness you're alright. I'm so sorry. I tried to hold on to you, but those winds!"

"I know, it was stronger than we thought. Everyone tried to hold it, but it was useless. Everyone got separated. "

"Wait, everyone? How many more are we missing?"

"Dolly, Buttercup, and Pricklepants are missing." Chuckles said.

"As are Jack, Angelina and Zach. Carl too." Owen said.

"Jessie and Buzz are out there too!" Hamm cried.

"And my parents? They are missing too, right?" Rosetta asked. They were all silent for a minute.

"We didn't see them when we woke up." Trixie said softly. Rose sighed sadly. Owen wrapped his arms around her.

"Don't worry, my dear. We'll find them. We'll find everyone, I prom..." He looked down and gasped. "Your hurt. Where's your hand?" Rosetta reached into the pocket of her dress and took out her hand. She saw Owen's face.

"It's okay. Hey, I'm okay. It's just my hand. It was a clean cut, easily fixable. It could have been a hell of a lot worse." He smiled and she kissed his cheek. She turned to the others. "Is anyone else hurt?"

"We all came out without a scratch, except for Rex. Trixie said. His tail popped off, and we were able to pop it back on, but then we saw his foot." Rosetta looked at Rex, and they both looked down at his foot. Sure enough, his foot was injured. Two of his claws were missing.

"Does it hurt to walk, Rex?" Rose asked.

"Not really, my foot is just a little numb. The dino said. It does make it a bit awkward walking though." Rosetta looked at him, and then at the others. She closed her eyes and remembered what her dad told her.

Her eyes snapped open and she looked at the others again.

"Okay here's what we have to do. We follow my dad's instructions. She said. We have to get to a safe place, whatever and wherever it may be. If along the way, we find any toy that needs help, we will help them. That goes for any member of our family. No toy will be left behind and we will find everyone we are missing, no matter what it takes. Yes we did get separated, but we will find everyone again. Are we clear?"

"Yes!" The Potato head family cried.

"Yes, ma'am!" Rex, Hamm and Trixie cried.

"We're with you, darling. Owen said, taking her good hand. She smiled at him.

"Alright, let's move out!" She said and they began to walk through the street.

*Like father like daughter. Rosetta taking lead to get everyone to safety. Next chapter we'll find more of the crew and another OC I'm introducing. Till next time!*
