*This is a longer chapter. It was also hard to write towards the end, because I knew how I wanted it to go, but finding the right words were a bit difficult. Enjoy!*
As they walked, they tried to avoid debris as much as they could. Pieces of wood, metal, trees and glass littered the ground. Around them stood battered homes and destroyed buildings. They passed a school and all gasped. All of its windows were busted, and a whole side had collapsed.
"This is horrible." Trixie said quietly.
"One storm did all this?" Mrs. Potato Head asked.
"Weather works in mysterious ways. Chuckles said. Why I too remember the storm Woody and Slinky were talking about. That storm took out an entire farm near Daisy's house. It even ripped away her swing set."
"You were with Daisy in 1992?" Hamm asked.
"Yes, that was the year she left us behind and when Lotso took over Sunnyside."
"Whoa, he ruled that daycare for a while." Potato Head whispered.
"I'm sorry, Chuckles." Rosetta said, touching his hand. He patted her tiny porcelain hand.
"It's alright, sweetie. I'd much rather call you and the others family than Lotso. I'm grateful everyday for Bonnie and her toys, as well as you and your family." That made Rosetta smile big. Chuckles gave her a small smile back.
"How are we supposed to find everyone in all of this destruction?" Rex asked.
"Whatever it takes, Rexy. Rose said. We are not leaving anyone, family or not, behind." All of a sudden, they heard a sharp sound, echoing around them.
"What was that?" Trixie asked. They heard it a second time, this time clearer. It was someone yodeling."
"Was that a yodel?" Hamm asked. Owen looked at Rosetta.
"Who do we know that yodels?" He asked.
"Aunt Jessie! Come on, it came from over there!" She said, running towards a broken house. They followed her around the back and saw Jessie standing by an overturned truck. Rosetta looked and saw her uncle trapped under it. "Aunt Jessie! Uncle Buzz!" Buzz looked up first.
"Rosie! Jess, look! It's Rose. She's okay!" He cried. Jessie turned and saw her niece running down to her.
"Rosetta!" The cowgirl screamed. She ran up and met her halfway, wrapping her in a tight hug. She pulled back quickly and began checking her for injuries. "Are you hurt, baby? Oh, your little hand is gone! Oh sweetheart!"
"I'm fine, auntie. I can fix my hand later. What happened to uncle?" Rose asked.
"The twister blew us into the field, so we took shelter in the house over there. When the storm ended, we had started to go out when the truck came out of nowhere! It was about to fall on me when your uncle, both heroic and stupid, decided to push me out of the way. It caught his leg and trapped him."
"I'm fine, it really doesn't even hurt that bad." Buzz said.
"You were complaining that it was hurting not twenty minutes ago! Ignore him, honey."
"Don't worry, Uncle. We'll have you out of there real quick! Come on guys, grab a side. Potato Head and Rex, grab his arms." She and Jessie took one side, while Owen, Hamm and Trixie took the other. They lifted the truck slightly and pulled Buzz out from under it. The space ranger winced a little as Rex and Potato Head sat him upright against the house. Jessie immediately checked him over.
"Nothing broken, your kneecap is dented a bit. We can fix that once we get to the safe place. You think you can walk?"
"Yes. Now get over here so I can thank you for saving me." Buzz said. Jessie smiled and leaned in. He pulled her onto his lap and kissed her. Rosetta beamed at them and then got up to look around.
"Hey auntie, uncle? You haven't seen mom and dad have you?" She asked. Jessie and Buzz broke apart and looked up at her.
"They aren't with you?" Buzz asked. Rosetta shook her head and wrapped her arms around her. Jessie got up and touched her shoulder.
"Don't you worry, baby girl. We'll find them and everyone else. I promise." Rose looked at her aunt. She knew she was good on her word as always. She sprang into her arms and hugged her tight. Looking out at the destruction, she prayed that her parents were alive and safe.

On the other side of Sycamore Drive, in a small ravine, Bo Peep moaned as she woke up. She began to sit up when she felt intense pain in her right shoulder. Taking a glance, she let out a shaky gasp. Her entire arm had been cut off at the shoulder. Shaking, she checked everything else on her body. Besides a few cracks on her chest and stomach, she was okay. Using her good arm, she got up and walked up out of the ravine. She stood in awe at the sight around her. Homes were in shambles, and trees were split in two. No one was around for miles. Man, when a storm hits, humans really run for the hills. She thought.
"Hello? Jessie? Buzz?" She called out. She listened for anything, but heard nothing. "Rose. Rosetta! Are you out there?" Suddenly she heard soft knocking, like a rock hitting metal repeatedly. She turned and looked down the ravine. Walking closer to get a better look, she saw a metal windmill lying on top of a pile of debris. What she saw next made her stop dead in her tracks, her heart sinking into her stomach. Someone was hitting the base of the windmill with a rock. Someone with a very familiar yellow checkered shirt.
"Woody." Bo said, her voice soft and unsteady. Ignoring the pain from her arm and chest, she broke into a run, sliding back down the hill towards her husband. "Woody! Woody!" She saw him and sped up. When she got to him, she gasped. He was lying on his side, with spots of dirt on his face, and mud caked on his clothes. His vest had several small tears in it, and his right arm was ripped open again. His hat was gone, but Bo could see scratches on his head. His eyes were closed and his breathing was thready. Bo knelt down beside him and touched his cheek softly. He stirred and opened his eyes slowly.
"B, Bo." He said. His voice came out hoarse and weak.
"Hi. Bo said. It's okay, I'm here, honey. I'm right here."
"I, I'm sorry. The wind swept us in d, different directions. I tri, tried to hold onto you. I'm s, so..."
"Don't you worry about that. None of us knew the force of those winds. It probably blew everyone in separate directions."
"Eve, everyone?" His eyes went wide. "R, Rose. Oh god, Ro, Rose, and Jess, and Bu, AH! Ow, oh." He cringed in pain and hissed.
"What hurts, babe?" Woody moaned and began to close his eyes again. "No, no. Stay awake, baby. I need you to stay awake. Tell me what hurts."
"I'm, I'm not sure, m, my chest, I think. I, I can't move my legs at all, an, and every time I try to take a breath, it, it hu, hurts. AH! Ow!" Bo hated seeing him in pain. She got up and walked around to his backside to see if she could see what the cause of his pain was. Looking up at the debris surrounding him, it appeared to be in a pyramid shape that could go at any minute. The sun had caught on something shiny and that's when Bo saw it: One of the blades from the windmill had fallen through the debris, straight through Woody's right side, impaling him and keeping him pinned down.
"Oh no." She whispered to herself.
*Now we've covered the one who's badly injured. Next chapter will tell which minor characters will not make it. Not telling you yet which major characteryet, that comes later. Till next time, be safe everyone!*
