"Bo!" Carl and Jack yelled. They hurried over to where she fell and jumped down to unbury her. They moved the dirt and mud, which was a struggle for it was heavy and wet. Carl removed the dirt from her waist only to find that it wasn't there anymore. He continued down, removing more mud and gasped at what he had discovered.
"Jack, check this out." He said. Jack finished moving the mud from her chest and came over. His mouth popped open. A single red brick had fallen on her, crushing her legs clean off.
"Blimey. Jack sighed. Poor lass. She has cracks along her chest too." Carl followed him and saw the cracks along her chest and neck. They continued to move the dirt from her face and once they moved it from her mouth, she gasped and coughed. She moved her head to look at them. They jumped back when they saw that one of her eyes were gone.
"C, Carl? J, Jack?" Bo moaned.
"It's us, Bo. Carl said. Try not to move too much."
"How is the pain, love?" Jack asked.
"M, my chest fee, feels like some, someone took a small hammer to it. A, and my eye hur, hurts. And m, my legs, I can't feel them."
"Don't worry, we're going to figure something out." He pulled Carl to the side. "We have to get that brick off of her, mate. It might relieve some of the pressure on her chest."
"I agree, but we can't do it alone. We need help." He sighed before looking over at her again. "I'll go if you'll keep her talking."
"Are you sure? I can accompany you."
"No, no. Stay with your wife and son. Just make sure to keep Bo talking. We need to keep her alive until I bring help." Jack nodded and saluted him.
"Be careful, my friend, and god speed." Carl saluted him and then jumped out of the hole, running off to find help.

"Feet, sore. Must rest." Rex said, panting. The gang had been walking for over two hours and were getting tired.
"Let's rest here for a while." Owen said. Everyone stopped and Rosetta checked on Rex, Buttercup, Slinky, and her uncle. She checked on Nick and the kids and then walked away on her own. She touched the beads on her moms necklace and then grasped the charm in the middle. The charm, silver and dainty, was a family of three that represented her, her mom and her dad. Her father had found it for her, cleaned it up, and gave it to her two christmases ago. Holding it tight, she looked up at the afternoon sky.
"Please. Please help me find them. Let me find them alive. Let them be okay. I will do anything, just please give me some sign that they are alright, please." She waited for a minute before sighing and turning to leave when she saw something in the dirt. Taking a step, she kneeled down and dusted it off. It was her father's hat. She took a sharp breath and placed her hand over her mouth. Getting up, she started walking, almost sprinting until she came to a destroyed barn. She followed the path of destruction down to the fallen windmill that rested on top of a pile of debris. The debris had made a rounded dome wall that looked like it was getting ready to fall any minute. Her eyes fell to the opening of wall where a very familiar face lay still. Rosetta's heart sunk.
"Owen! Aunt Jessie! She yelled. Come here, quick!" They both came running, with the others close behind.
"Rosetta!" Owen said.
"What is it, what's wrong?" Jessie asked. Rosetta looked her aunt dead in the eyes, shaking.
"I found him. I found dad!"
*I threw the bit about Rosetta's charm in at the last minute. Sorry for the shortness of this chapter. Trying to spread this out and build on the suspense!*
