I don't own Loud House, the show belongs to Chris Savino and Nickelodeon.

Story inspired by Sid and Marty Krotts Land of the Lost TV series.

Night descends on the land and in the old temple the leader of the Sleekstaks with two escorts entered the library of skulls. Many other Sleekstaks were out hunting for moths for them and their young.

The library of skulls as the name suggests is a smokey room full of Sleekstak skulls from ages before, the Sleekstaks charis these skills as they were wise, the leader went up to the grand skull. "Oh grand skull, there are humans in the valley once again, an event that hasn't happen since the Marshalls left. Grand skull give us instructions for what to do."

The grand skull spoke up as the eyes lit up. "The human threat must be dealt with post haste, before they take away our altrusian way of life."

"What do you suggest we do grand skull?"

"Send warriors to wipe them out."

"But we have no idea where they are."

An image of the Louds eating fish in their cave emerges from the smoke. "They live in a cave, north of here."

The image disappeared and the grand skull goes silent, the Sleekstak leader nods then went off to gather some warriors to deal with the Loud family.

Lynn patted her belly as she lets out a good burp. "Oh that was some good fish dad!"

"Yeah honey, you really out did yourself." Rita complemented as she patted Lilly's back.

Lynn Sr. smiled in appreciation as he and Lana worked hard on getting these fish, and cooking them was just as hard especially since he was cooking for thirteen people. "Thanks family me and Lana had quite a hassle getting other foods other than vegetables and fruits."

Lana leaned back against a rock with a big smile. "And it was all thanks to Cha-Ka." The rest of the family looked over at her with confusion. "Uh, who's Cha-Ka dude?" Luna asked.

With her eyes closed Lana simply replied with. "A pakuni."

"A what?" Lori asked.

"A ape boy."

"There's no such thing as a ape boy." Lisa pointed out.

"There is here."

"It's true, he was like this ape, human creature and there were these two other ones who I'm guessing are the parents of him."

Much of the family were intrigued with this information especially Lisa, as this ape/human sounds like an interesting specimen to study, he could be some kind of missing link, this could win her a Nobel prize that is if all of them could get home.

"Well fam lets get ready for bed, but first who wants to help clean up?"

Lincoln, Lynn, and Lori raised their hands. "We will dad!"

Lori, Lynn, and Lincoln exited the cave with the last of the fish bones in their hands. It took a bit of a while but they had managed to clean out the cave while the rest of family were setting up for bed. The three came to the pile that they formed in the jungle and already it had attracted some scavengers as a group of compsognathus were picking out scabs of meat. The small theropods look at them, then quickly scattered as they dropped the bones.

Lori clapped her hands together with a sigh of relief. "Well that's over and I am literally ready for bed." Lynn stretch both of her arms. "Tell me about it, after pulling out those weeds my arms need some rest."

"At least you got all of them." Lincoln stated.

The three began to head back towards the cave. "Yeah I liked to see those weeds come back to our garden." Lynn boosted, suddenly something whizzed past between Lynn and Lori and struck a tree. The three utterly jumped from the sudden projectile, looking at the tree they went white when they saw that it was a stone arrow.

"Where that come from!" Lincoln exclaimed in shock.

Angry hisses came out from behind them, turning around they saw five Sleekstaks poking their heads out from large ferns with crossbows aiming at them.

"Not them again!" Lynn said in dread.

"And they got weapons!" Lori added.

A arrow fires out from the crossbow, it nearly struck Lincoln's side.

"Quick back to the cave!" Lincoln shouted.

The three run for the cave, the Sleekstaks go in pursuit firing their arrows that whizzes pass them. The cave came into view; Lori suddenly lets out a scream, a arrow has struck her on the elbow, the sudden pain makes her stumble forwards Lynn and Lincoln go to her side to help her stay up right. Alerted with Lori's scream, the family came out of the cave to see what was going on.

They were horrified to see a arrow lodged in their oldest daughter's/sister's elbow, they quickly went over to her with Lynn and Rita keeping her upright. "Oh my God, Lori what happened!?" Rita asked in horror.

An arrow flew above her head as if in answer, the Sleekstaks stayed behind the treeline with only their heads visible, they hiss in anger as they aim their crossbows at them. "Quick get some fire!" Lynn Sr. instructed, Luna and Luan run back into the cave while avoiding the arrows that whiz pass them, the others dodged them as well.

Luna and Luan picked up some sticks and used the fire to create some torches. The two quickly go back out, they run up to the treeline and waved them around, the Sleekstaks recoil from the light and backed away.

"Come on let's get her inside!" Rita ordered, together she and her husband helped Lori towards the cave while her siblings escorted them with Luna and Luan behind waving their torches around. Once inside the cave Lynn and Rita gently placed her against a rock, Luna and Luan guard the entrance.

Rita and Lynn examine the wound which was spilling out blood underneath and above the arrow, Lori is absolutely wincing in deep pain right now. "Oh man, that looks like it totally hurts." Leni exclaimed in concern. Lori could only look at her injury for a brief second before wincing away from it.

Lisa examines the wound closely, she adjusts her glasses. "Well luckily the arrow has just barely missed the bone, but this wound is serious and needs serious medical attention, which unfortunately we don't have at the moment."

"So what do we do?" Lincoln asked.

"We're going to have to pull out the arrow and bandage it up the best we can. The best we could use are those leaves outside." Lisa exclaimed.

"But those yucky scaly things are out there with those arrows!" Lola protested in fear.

"We still got fire on our side, so we should be relatively safe if you hurry."

Lynn Sr. approached the entrance, he could hear the Sleekstaks within the jungle. "Okay we go and grab the leaves as quickly as we can!"

Lynn Sr. Lynn, Luna, and Lana rushes out of the cave; arrows fly around them with some getting dangerously close. Luna runs to the treeline, she waves the torch around drawing them away, Lynn Sr. along with the others picked up some leafs, they quickly go back into the cave.

"Got the leafs!" Lynn Jr stated.

Lisa clasps her fingers together. "Excellent, now comes the difficult part."

"Which is?" Lori asked nervously.

"We got to pull out the arrow."

Lori's eyes widen in horror. "What?"

Lisa with her eyes close and hands behind her back. "Unfortunately it has to be done."

"Can't there be another way." Rita asked in worry.

Lisa shook her head. "Afraid not mother."

Rita lets out a reluctant sigh. "Alright if we have to."

Lynn Sr. hesitantly grabbed the end of arrow. Lori looked at him and Lisa clearly scared. "Wait a minute there has to be another way!"

"It may hurt." Lisa simply replied.

Lynn began to pull, Lori lets out painful, blood-curdling screams. Her siblings cringe under the screams coming from their oldest sibling; Lilly had begun to cry Rita took her in her arms and tried her best to sooth her. Luan then heard something else, looking outside the cave they saw the Sleekstaks approaching with giant leafs held out in front of them

"Guys their coming!"

Luna and Luan quickly go back out and waved the torches around again, however with the leafs shielding them the Sleekstaks thrusts forward while reaching for the two. Back in the cave Lynn continue to pull and by now Lori was crying over the hellish pain. At last with a loud pop Lynn manage to get the bloody arrow out, he quickly drops it to the ground, fresh blood began to flow out Lana and Lola quickly bandage the wound with the leafs which already began to turn red in the middle.

"That will do for now." Lisa simply stated.

The family looked outside, one of the Sleekstaks had grabbed the torch out of Luna's hand and snapped it in half, Luan waved hers around more ferociously while avoiding their grabs for her torch. "We need to do something quickly!" Lincoln stated.

"Fear not for I have a solution." Lisa held up some crystals.

"Where'd you get those?" Lucy asked.

"I was exploring around the cave and I found these crystals. After studying them I've discovered that they are high on energy, and can do many interesting things."

"Like what?" Leni asked.

"I'll gladly give you a demonstration." Lisa went over to the entrance. "Luna, Luan move your proverbial keisters!" Luna and Luan jumped out of the way; Lisa threw the crystals, the crystals explode on impact. Spooked from the sudden explosion the Sleekstaks retreated back into the jungle.

With the threat of the Sleekstaks gone, the family couldn't help but be amazed by the explosion created by those crystals. "Whoa dudes that explosion was epic!" Luna exclaimed. Lisa nodded in agreement. "Indeed, these crystals are quite interesting: they can create light for a short time, a explosion as you seen, even drain someone's energy."

"You know that pyramid thing had a table full of crystals." Lincoln pointed out.

"And in that temple." Lynn added.

Lisa put her hand on her chin. "Seems to be a power source to."

Lynn Sr. clears his throat. "Alright everyone I believe that's enough excitement for one night, lets get to bed."

"But what if those lizard people come back?" Leni asked.

"Were going have to light up the area." Lisa inform.

So the family did, they set up several fires around their cave; it took an hour to both build and set each fire and when they were done the area is nicely lit, and the family is exhausted. They then go back into the cave and settled in for the night. Lori however had trouble getting comfortable as her wound was hurting, whenever she try to move her elbow screamed in pain making her give out silent cries. But somehow with this great pain Lori had manage to fall asleep though it wasn't a pleasant one.
