''so do we have an agreement captain ?'' a voice asks from across the table causing the captain to look up at the other smuggler they were playing a card game and raiji a notorious running away card player waited for the captain's comment. which made her pause ''You know raiji, am quite getting tired of your lying and cheating. but to be fair that's what you are known for right?'' this caused raiji to stop opening his mouth rather than glare at the captain. ''am I wrong, Raiji runner, from Tatooine ?'' Maya took her feet off the table staring at him now
'What you have no proof! '' raiji looked shocked she had rung up that name the republic had given to him as an outlaw staring at her, which caused Maya to let out a chuckle looking at him now.
''you are wanted by many people, right?'' she crossed her arms looking at him now. which earned a heavy grunt from the man staring at her now. ''so what I took data from republic that was settling on that sandy death trap, you call a planet.'' Raiji complained looking at the captain now which made her stand up now.
Maya scratch her neck a little ''that data could have been use to stop the sith!.'' she pointed at him now making raiji to sink into his chair even more now.
''And yet, you wouldn't know that cause you only care for yourself Raiji.'' she looked at him even more. which made raiji sigh out loud ''look captain it was nice of you to save me, but don't you know, I got places to be.-''
before raiji couldn't even finish his sentence, Maya whips out her blaster one tapping everyone in the room. smoke coming from the barrel of her blaster, ''you know, you could have just given in buddy.'' she stood there until her holo went off. Maya picked it up noticing a familiar man looking at a frequent customer ''Ah viidu, what a pleasant surprise is Loman, not in today?'' she questioned asking the man on holo. which prompted Viidu to say something along these lines
''Well I hope, you would be able to do the run I promise it'll be worth your time Captian!''
''it'll cost you a lot viidu, you know that right?'' Maya said looking into the holo. hearing the door getting blasted down, Maya set down the holo on the table ducking from the blaster-fire. She quick-draw on them blasting the men away. slowly standing up looking at the holo, ''alright Viidu I'll take this deal but let me deal with these...Cowards.'' she muttered. reloading her blaster
''Noted captain, I promise this will be worth the while,'' Viidu said shutting of his comm-link, Maya picked up her holo. rushing out of the place, running down the hallway toward the space-port. she was about to enter her ship until a voice had shouted at her. ''Halt you, are going to die for killing captain raiji!'' ''Oh, what makes you think you'll be able to kill me?'' Maya asked, as one of the men shoot at her passing right behind her. she looked at the bullet where it remained at least . ''well kid, you should work on your aiming instead of running your mouth..'' she stated as her holo, had began to go off. she had no choice to pick it up
''Oh captain I forget to tell you, something the person who will be picking up the parts is skavak, one of my trusted workers. I will leave the rest to you.''
''uh- thanks viida, I'll make sure I look for skavak.'' Maya started looking at the other men, pulling something out staring at them, ''sorry boys but duty calls.'' she tossed a smoke grenade. as it clouded the room. Maya quickly made it into her ship rushing toward the control. she rocketed off of the republic fleet station and flew directly toward ord mantell. As she took off, she noticed some bigger blaster down on the ground, as tried her best to avoid any fire toward her ship.
Maya managed to shoot down any other ships coming at her, as they crashed, Maya safely landed, as her staircase to her ship hit flat against the ground. she stepped out seeing skavak. ''what an amazing flying, you don't even have a scratch on you. you basically fly throughout a battle-field '' skavak said inspecting the ship, then looking back at Maya.
''War-zone.?'' Maya said with a small shrug looking at skavak. Skavak slowly returned to the hanger where she had landed. ''you should hull jets out of here after I get those blasters and pay you.'' Maya stood looking at him now confused. ''and go where, is there any other place I can go to?'' the hanger began to shake a little, rubble hit against the floor.
''the bomb is getting closer .. you should take off while you still can!'' skavak said now turning to Maya
''Skavak bad news!'' the seps took over the artillery in the town!'' Which caused skavak & Maya to turn their attention to the man now looking at him, ''wait slow down, what are you talking about..'' Skavak demanded looking at him. Maya cleared her throat looking at Corso now . ''got a name ?'' ''Yes Corso Riggs, I hate to tell you but the moment you try to take off you'll be shot down captain.'' ''best of your survival is to help out..'' skavak said looking at Maya. which Maya pause for a quick moment
''Alright, I'll be right back I need to unwind my trigger finger.'' she place her hand on her belt where her blasters were, looking at them now. Which made Corso make this comment ''good luck out there, hope we will see you again..''
Maya began to exit the hanger waving bye to them. going into the town.
