Rossi went back to the crime scene in secret to study the crime before he went to talk to the coroner. When he was done there he decided to talk to Garcia in private too. He knew he needed to tell Strauss about working the case, but he knew what she was going to say.

He looked around some more and also inside the SUV, but couldn't find anything out of ordinary so he got back in his vehicles, not realizing he is close to where Hotch and Emily were.

*Meanwhile at the Coroner*

Dr. Albert had been working on the burnt bodies since the wreck. He could estimate that the female body was as tall as Emily, but he wasn't sure if the other body was as tall as Hotch since he didn't know the chief's height. When a familiar face walked into the room he knew a great opportunity to ask him.

Rossi walked up to the coroner, "Hey Doctor, what've you got?"

"I just finished examining the two bodies," Dr. Arnold explained. "The woman and the man got blunt trauma to the heads. How tall is Agent Prentiss?"

"Emily is 5'8". Why?"

"That's what I thought...This woman is as tall as Agent Prentiss." Dr. Arnold explained. "And how tall is Agent Hotchner?"

"Aaron is 6'2" tall, Doctor." Rossi told him, frowning slightly.

"Ah, this man is not 6'2", he is 5'11"."

"Okay. What's else?" Rossi asked, crossing him arms over his chest.

"The woman just has a baby."

"And how long ago did she gave birth?"

"I would say a few weeks ago." Dr. Arnold said.

"Then the baby is a few weeks old," Rossi replied. "Thanks."

Rossi left the morgue and headed straight to Garcia's office. He walked inside and found the technical analyst. The colorful woman looked at Rossi when she heard the door closing.

"Hey, my Italian scallion, What are you doing here?" Garcia asked.

"I'm still working on the case," he confessed and took a seat on a chair next to her.

"Does Strauss know about this?" Garcia asked, worriedly.

"No. She doesn't know that I'm doing this," Rossi answered truthfully. "And you're not going to tell anybody especially JJ and your baby boy."

"I can't keep a secret from them," Garcia gasped, horrified.

"We don't know who we're dealing with here."

"Are you telling me that Emily and Boss man are still alive?" Garcia asked, her voice full of hope

"Yes." Rossi answered shortly.

"But how? There are two dead bodies in the morgue. It's not them?" Garcia was confused.

"No, it's not them. The couple in the morgue is not Emily and Aaron."

Garcia got really excited and decided to help Rossi with the case to find Emily. Rossi asked her how far it was between the camp site and the crime scene? Her fingers started tapping on the keyboard to find the information he was looking for. They soon found out that the camp site and the crime scene wasn't too far away. Rossi thanked Garcia and walked out of her lair. He quickly called the swat teams and told them to meet him at the camp site.

The question was: would he get there in time?
