CHAPTER 2

2 WEEKS AFTER LEAVING THE VILLAGE

"HELP! Why do all these giant bears keep chasing me." Naruto said as he is running away from a hoard of giant bears.

"This is starting to get really old. Ya stupid bears", Naruto said before stopping a couple of feet away from the bears.

"That's it bring it on am Naruto Uzumaki. I"ll take all of you on myself ," said Naruto as he prepares to sprint towards the bears.

"GRR" roared the group of bears as they stood up on two feet showing how much bigger they were compared to Naruto.

"You know what how about I continue to run, while you guys just hang out around," Naruto said right before taking off into the trees.

BACK IN THE LEAF VILLAGE

"LORD HOKAGE!", yelled Iruka as he barged open the door of the Hokage's office.

"What is it Iruka? If this is about Naruto, then it's true.", said Hiruzen as he looked outside of his window looking towards

the village.

"So Naruto has actually gone missing uh. How could this happen", said Iruka with a look of sadness and worry on his face?

"I don't fully know yet but am sending most of the chunin to check everywhere in the village, and some of them to search

outside the village," said Hiruzen Sarutobi as he turned around face Iruka.

"Naruto is a valuable member of our village. I will do anything in my power to find him," said the Third Hokage.

"And besides, it's Naruto he's a prankster, but he's no fool", said Hiruzen with a slight smile.

"He can't be that far." said The Third as he took his seat preparing for the long day of paperwork ahead of him.

"Yeah your probably right," said Iruka.

BACK TO NARUTO WHO'S MILES AWAY FROM THE LEAF

"Damn I've been walking for like weeks now, I should have already run into a village by now.", said Naruto with an exhausted look on his face.

"ERR! Great now am starving, I should have brought more ramen with me," said Naruto.

After 30 minutes of walking down a path, Naruto looks up to see the village not too far ahead. With that image in his mind Naruto gains all the energy he needs, and sprints towards the village, until he is right outside of it to see the name of it on a build board.

"Kis-ara-gi village, finally a village I hope this place has a ramen shop somewhere", Naruto said before running into the village.

Has Naruto is running through the village trying to finding a ramen shop, he sees the big difference between the way he is treated here and the way he is being treated in Konoha. People didn't look at him with looks of disgust and hatred, instead they just saw him as another kid in fact some even smiled at him.

"YES. Finally a ramen shop, it's no Ichiraku, but I guess it will have to do", Naruto said as he rushed into the ramen stand. Ordering everything he could before even finishing his first bowl.

After eating Naruto left the ramen shop, he hadn't really decided on what he was gonna do. His first taught was that he had to get stronger so that he could maybe become a bounty hunter has a way to make a living as he traveled throughout the world. He was sure that he would find something to do while he was traveling the world.

"Hey, who knows I might even save the world one day," Naruto said to himself as he continued to walk through a store.

Naruto entered a small store, the first thing that he did was pick some ramen, a medkit, and other things that he felt he may need. He had no idea whether or not he would be staying in this village. There was a small chance that Leaf ninja would come looking, he was still a kid after all so he didn't think about too much. Naruto after leaving the store was walking through the streets of the village when he stops a group of kids all about his age surrounding something or someone.

"Wonder what they're up to," said Naruto as he headed towards the group of kids.

"Hey guys look at the freak", said a boy out of the group of kids pointing at a girl who was surrounded by the group.

"Dude we're not supposed to get close to her remember or she'll hurt us remember, warned another kid out of the group.

"Hurt us? Has if will show her who boss," said another kid has if picked up a small rock and throw it at the girl being surrounded.

"Ow! Stop it, I didn't do anything to you guys so just leave me alone," said the girl as she tried to get up from the floor.

"Or what, are you gonna kill us too. Monster!", said the boy has he grabbed the girls head pushing her to the ground

Has Naruto see this he starts to think about the day he left the Leaf Village and the things that had happened right before he decided to make the choice to leave. He was upset to see someone else being treated the way he was being treated, it made him feel upset. So Naruto being Naruto, rushes over to the group of kids that were surrounding that one girl. Pushing most of the kids away and putting in arms out to show that he was protecting the girl.

"HEY that's enough leave her alone," said Naruto with an angry look on his face.

"OR what are you going to do.", said one of the boys, as they all got closer to Naruto.

At the same time, they all ran towards raising a fist, but Naruto quickly dodges them with speed and agility dodging all of their attacks. They were all pretty slow for Naruto and he knew they didn't have a chance against him even if they were about the same age as him. Naruto dodges their attacks, then pushed them to the ground when they facing anymore. This went on for a while until the group of boys all got tired of it.

"You know what forget it! Your both just a bunch of freaks" yelled one of the kids, as they all got up and into the village.

Naruto turned away from the group, seeing as they were all already turning away from him. He was now facing to face with the girl he was protecting. She was probably around his age from what he could tell, she had mostly red hair with yellow bits at the end. With nice violet eyes.

"Hey are you okay, I hope those guys didn't hurt you," said Naruto as he held out his hand towards the girl who was still on the ground.

She looked up at Naruto but didn't say anything she was surprised to see someone actually trying to stick up for her. Has Naruto got closer, trying to grab her hand to help her up? The girl then smacks him and leaving Naruto in shock.

"DON'T touch me! Didn't you hear them am dangerous.", said the girl as she got up backing away from Naruto.

"I don't think you're dangerous. You seem nice," said Naruto with a smile on his face as he held in had out towards the girl.

"I mean it if you touch me you're going to die." said the girl as she began to cry.

"Hey, it's okay am not going to hurt you. My name is Naruto. What's yours?" Naruto said has the girl seem to have calmed down.

"I don't care just stay away from me. It better this way." said the girl as she began to cry, running away from Naruto into the depths of the small village.

"I wonder what was her problem", thought Naruto as he began to walk around the village.

After a while, Naruto decides to stay at a motel before deciding to leave in the morning. Too Where? Well, he doesn't know yet.

Morning came Naruto left the motel after paying the manager of the building. With unlimited time to spare, Naruto rushes over to a nearby restaurant where he has actually breakfast instead of constantly eating ramen all the time.

"Oh I heard there's a nice lake near this village, maybe I'll go check it out," said Naruto in his head as he ran through the village into the nearby forest.

Has Naruto is running through the forest, he hears someone crying. He starts to slow down, trying to figure out where the sound was coming from. Naruto walks around the forest for a while until he spots where the sound was coming from. It was the girl that he had saved yesterday from the group of kids that were bullying her, Naruto quickly recognized this so he ran toward her. Who was sitting down under a tree as she was crying?

"Hey, it's you again. Are you okay?" said Naruto with a smile on his face.

"Yeah is fine." said the girl has she wiped the tears away from her eyes to look up at who was talking to her.

"Your guy from yesterday. I thought I told you to stay away from me." said the girl trying to look upset has possible.

"Well I would but you look like you need help," argued Naruto, has he sat down next to the girl.

"You shouldn't be this close to me am dangerous." said the girl with a sad look on her face.

"You don't seem dangerous to me." Naruto would say trying to comfort the girl.

"You not from around here is." asked the girl.

"Nah am from the Konoha," said Naruto.

"Really, are you like a ninja cause you kinda from there, especially for a kid." asked the girl as she began to look towards Naruto.

"Well, no am not a ninja. But the reason is here is because I kinda ran away from home." Naruto would say has he thought about the day he left the Leaf Village.

"You ran away. Why?" the girl would ask.

Naruto would go on to explain his reasons for running away from home. He would tell her about the Kyuubi and his connection to it. After I while Naruto would tell her about traveling and not really knowing what he wants to do with himself anymore.

"Well I guess I understand now." the girl would say the Naruto.

" Well, I told you about me so now you have to tell me about yourself," demanded Naruto.

"Fine! So when I was young I lived in this small orphanage, it was just me and this woman that took care of me. Then one day when I was playing in the park these two black diamond marks showed up on my hands. When I went to go ask the woman taking care of me, I got close to her and touched her. I could feel myself sucking the energy, and before I knew it she was dead. After that I lived by myself, and why I told you to stay away from me. Am a monster." the girl would say as tears began to fill her eyes.

"Hey, that's enough your not the monster. What happened wasn't your fault." Naruto would say has he put his arms on the girl's shoulder.

"You didn't know that would happen," said Naruto as he stood up.

"How could you be so sure?" the girl would ask Naruto as she looked up at him.

"Cause you are just like me, we were both blamed for something we had no control over." Naruto state with a reassuring smile on his face.

"Here's an idea, how about you come with me, explore the world and even learn to control that power so that it won't hurt people." Naruto would say.

"Really, you want me to come with you." said the girls.

"Of course, we'll be like family." Naruto would say with a smile on his face.

"Family uh, I think I would like that." said the girl has a smile starts to form on her face.

"Yeah, it'll be a blast." Naruto would say.

"But before we go. I need to ask you something," Naruto says a little seriously.

"What?" the girls would ask.

"What's your name." Naruto would ask the girl as she began to stand up from her spot under the tree.

"Yumi, my name is Yumi." the girls would say.

WHICH IS CALLED SHADE STYLE. I SAW IT IN A NARUTO MOVIE AND THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COOL TO GIVE IT TO HER.
