Whoops, hello! I'm new to this part in town of fanfiction haha. I forgot to put the disclaimer. Of course, as you can tell, te fic is inspired by katy perry "Teenage Dream" while I saw through the comics how innocent-like the love Sokka gave to Suki was. Hope you enjoyed as I did writting it.

Definitely the first time he met her was oblivious to the fact they would reunite again some time later in the road. After all, losing Yue to the moon was the worst pain he had experienced in his short lifetime, he couldn't bother with love again. At least not compromise on it. From time to time he would crush on some girl but nothing serious.
But her? She was out of his league and he didn't even noticed at first. Being captured by girls hurt his pride, but dressing as one? He would have thought hours before their encounter and absolutely yuck. But learning to be a formidable warrior was his priority, how could a girl beat him like a potato sack?
Then they met again, after the pain and their kiss. Feelings climbing to him, happy to see her safe and sound after the island was set on fire. Her blue eyes meeting time to time his gaze, with a warming smile. How did he not noticed under that makeup that gorgeous face? His heart beginning to beat harder and faster, always taking care of her.
No that was necessary, just to be safe. That was until she call him out on it, starting a heart to heart talk with her ex girlfriend in front of them. Of course she would be there, reminding him how weak he was to protect her, so the same fate wouldn't happen to Suki. Her, understanding as always, gave him his space after almost kissing. He hoped he would gave the "right signs" indicating he really cared for her as more than just a fellow warrior, even more than a friend.
-We both said things we shouldn't have and…
Oh lord. His actions took control of his entire body. Her face blushing through all the makeup, not hiding her embarrassment to him.
-You talk to much.
Not that her voice was annoying, but he would rather do what a night before was to weak to follow through. Embracing him, his heart began to slow almost to the point of stopping from pure, innocent, love. He almost swore he could feel her heart racing faster than his boomerang, even thought, she had his armor. That was how strong he felt his connection to her.
-I'll be fine Sokka. Say hi to Appa from me!
And that was the last time in a while before they met again. Even trough all the adventures he and his friends went trough, when the night engulfed the skies and the moon shined bright, his mind raced back to her Kyoshi warrior. Multiple scenarios where both could fight together as a team rather then apart, even as far as imagining how could she interact with the gaang.
Even if fighting was important as the strategies to apply, thinking of her woke up a side of him he hadn't remembered in a while. He, after all, was only a teenager. War, the Avatar and being parentless always made him grow up faster then he would have liked to. Being the leader in the south pole, protecting Katara, planning strategies and always learning something more to add to his skills never let time for him to fantasize or take an complete interest in another girl. After all, the moon broke his heart at war.
But Suki? Just thinking her name made him blush, as if her face was there staring back at him. His heart racing through "what ifs…" and his hormones beginning to appear for the first time since they began the journey.
That was until one day he felt something hurt inside him. "Maybe… Maybe the meat I ate was undercooked, not a big deal." But in fact, it was a big deal. He couldn't shake off that feeling of something being wrong inside him. Ashamed to ask for help to his sister, Katara examined him and even practiced some healing under the impression Sokka was sick, after all, she could use some practice to reduce the chance to eat frozen frogs again.
-Are you feeling better?-Asked with concern in her face. As his head shook no and his face turned more worrisome, she suggested to search for those damn disgusting frogs again.
He, ignoring the growing pit of pain in his stomach, agreed to it. While the team searched him a frozen frog, his head began playing games with him. "Wonder how Suki is doing right now…. I really hope she is safe" That was when his neurons clicked and his pain intensified. Something happened to Suki. He had sensed it, he felt her pain. Some condolence to him was that he continued to feel it, meaning she is still alive.
-Hey guys… I think my stomach ache is gone. Thanks for helping search a frog thought. -He said dismissing the annoyed faces of Katara and Toph, the latter rambling they lost precious time searching for nothing. Sokka for a moment froze, remembering Toph could detect liars instantly.
The night before meeting the king, his mind raced trying to make sense of the anguish and pain he felt in his stomach and heart. Excusing himself from the house, going out to the roof to clear his head. Was she really that into him? He couldn't even process the feeling of being in love again after what happened at the north pole. What if is true that he's doomed to loose every girl he really loves?
Frowning, his eyes began watering thinking Suki might as well be dead while he was in a comfortable house in Ba sing se. "No, she can not be death. She is stronger than you Sokka. Yes, stop worrying, even herself said so".
A high pitched voice took him out of his trail of thoughts, searching for the small earth nation princess.
-Hi Toph, what is the pleasure of your visit? I thought you already were asleep.- He said smiling and putting his "no worries" façade.
-I know you're worried about something. Since the day we searched for those frogs.
Sokka sighed, not bothering to cover it. After all, she could detect and call him out on it if he tried to lie. Curious of that fact, he began confiding in Toph.
-If you knew I was lying, why you didn't say something?- His bright blue eyes looking at hers.
-Because I'm not blind- She said with a small grin- Something… Let me correct myself… Someone has been bothering you for a while. Although I'm not sure if it's the princess or the warrior.
Sokka smiled, putting a hand in Tophs shoulder, trying to believe the words he was about to deliver.
-I couldn't be worried about Suki. She is strong and intelligent, I'm sure she will arrive here tomorrow for our battle meeting.
Toph frowned, sensing some lies between his words. Not indulging on it, she stood up creating stairs along the way so she wouldn't have a hard fall.
-Alright. Just… please try no to think that lewd of her. I can feel it too ya know? My feet almost caught fire the other night!
Sokka embarrassed at his vulnerability, stood blushing, thanking every god possible that she was blind so his face remained only In her imagination. Her laugh as loud as always, fading away as she got to her room. His mind began replaying that images Toph reprimanded him of. It was just so new to him seeing her without her makeup and armor. His blood rushing all his body, feeling tight somewhere around his lower limbs.
He shook his head trying to erase the images that flew to him like rays of sun. Trying to sleep. That was until he smelled food, smiling of the scent of pork being cooked. As he got up he saw they were not in Ba sing se, rather in what appeared to be his home.
-Katara?- He asked confused
As he reached the kitchen, his heart dropped and his eyes almost going out of his head. When did this happened? There she was, standing with multiple coats on her, Suki. As she turned around to face him, their eyes locked, flashing him a smile.
-Morning sleepy head. You told me today we were going to ride some flying penguins! The sun goes down over here fast, so we better hurry up.- She said as she sat on the table, eating hurriedly.
Sokka looked at her speechless. "Am I dreaming? Of course! I need to wake up, today I will meet her for real at the reunion" Convinced of this, he sat down and ate the food. Goodness, "This has to be real, the food tastes so good!" As he finished devoring the plate in front of him, his eyes met Sukki's. She was waiting for him, watching him as if they haven't seen each other in years.
-I miss you Sokka. I missed you a lot.- She said scooting close to him. His face turning red, he sat there closing his eyes, waiting to be kissed. He opened them to realize she was kissing him! Again! His eyes filling with tears, paradise was this moment. He began removing her coats, unnecessary to him at the moment. Lips locked and giggles from her throat as he carried her to the bedroom.
Love. Every inch of his body felt with love. Just being next to her made his heart jump of happiness. His eyes closing again to resume the deed.
Scream. Horrifying and startling. His eyes shot panicked as he saw Suki fighting for her life, kicking and trying every combination she could remember. His body froze, unable to move to protect her. He heard it again, loud screams. He blinked, focusing on Suki, who was made a pool of tears, red faced of crying, still being forced to be in place. He saw her mouth saying his name, but there wasn't a sound coming out from it. He looked at his palms, still in shock.
Fire. The burning sensation spreading fast to the rest of his body, but not hot enough to keep him in place. He walked slowly, floating more with every step he made. As he began to fly the fire now began to hurt, clenching his mouth to not give in.
-Sokka!
As he hear his name coming out of her voice. He saw that now, she was upside down. Eyes closed and mouth opened. His body completely gave in, engulfing on fire. He couldn't hold anymore the pain, specially the after seeing her girlfriend dead, floating on the house.
-Sokka! Wake up, you're sweating like crazy.
Concerned eyes looking at him. Looking at the palm of his hands to prove he was not in that nightmare anymore, he closed his eyes, sighting heavily. He dismissed his friends stating that nightmares occur to him if his stomach is empty before going to sleep.
Katara and Toph looked at each other, knowing that was not definitely the case. Aang, gullible as always, hurried him to eat so he won't feel bad anymore. Even as Sokka ate his favorite steak, seeing Suki like that haunted him for the rest of the morning until Toph and him reached the palace. His heart filling with excitement, both of them crossed the doors to find the kyoshi warriors guarding the king. Searching for her face, Sokka looked confused as how she was not with her team, but didn't mind that much until Toph and that bubbly girl made it click.
Those were Azula's companions! Too numb to scream for Suki, as he dodged the chi blocking attacks, the fire nation princess won the battle putting them at her mercy.
He knew something happened to Suki, now he needed to know where she was. That was until Aang woke up again, shocked to even be alive. Nursing his friend and explaining the battle tactic was going to be the easy part. But after all this time and still not being able to find her? That was driving him mad. War taking a toll again at his sanity and heart, with constant nightmares of the possible conditions they could haver her in prison, or even worse… what if somebody succeed to lay a hand on her? Each night becoming a never ending torture between his vivid imagination and nightmares. Longing again to see her, safe and sound.
-Ignore!
-Sokka's your name right? My favorite prisoner used to mention you all the time. She was convinced you were going to come rescue her, of course you never came and she gave up on you.
His worst fear confirmed to him. Sukki is a prisoner to the fire nation, and she hoped he would rescue her from the nightmare Azula probably kept her in. Tears and rage blinding him, loosing selfcontrol and lunging towards his enemy. As Toph helped him pin her to the wall, almost choking her demanded to know where was his girl, his whole world.
Not surprised, she wouldn't bulge or give any important information, madness reeking from her eyes. Or at least he thought, his hand gripping angrily his sword, waiting for the wrong words to slash her.
Pulling away, she knew in his already swollen eyes she had the upper hand. His soul was crushed just of the mention of her prisoner.
-Are you okay?
-I am. Couldn't feel better right now.
How warming was that smile she gave him, as his eyes dropped intoxicated in love and appreciation. His warrior was there with her and in no way he would let her go again. Sitting on Appa's back as the group flew, sighting, he got close to her and unapologetic kissed her, to Tophs dismay.
Tears streamed again down his face, remembering all those times he felt something was wrong instead pushing it down. Her face smiling, breaking the moment to kiss his cheeks as she cleaned the tears beginning to dry in his face. Now it was his turn to smile, grabbing her hand steadily to kiss it.
-My strong willed warrior and girl. Let me tell you real quick how beautiful you look right now.
She giggled and pushed him down with her, feeling tired from the restless nights she suffered in her cell. Her arms wrapping just above his waist to firmly grip it and use his chest as a mattress. Before giving in completely, she tilted her head to look his face one last time before drifting away to dreamland. His face completely glue to her, caressing her hair slowly. Smiling, she got back to resting her head and gave in.
Her slow breath cycle relaxing him, he continued to caress her hair, grabbing strands between his fingers. Sokkas eyes never leaving her frame, as his heart began again to slow down, matching her own heartbeat. As they come close to Ember island, he took the chore of waking her up, as much as it pained him. Seeing her sleep so peacefully, as if they were just two teenagers hanging out.
Well, technically they were, just never got the role for it, as war was as present as the stars in the night. While shacking her lightly as to not startle her. Her eyes opened, looking at a Sokka's face curiously.
-Did you sleep? You look a little tired.
He didn't even noticed he took care of Suki as she slept. Too afraid of something happening again and he being as powerless as a sleep boy to react fast.
-Maybe. Your beauty was a little distracting for me to even sleep.
She giggled, grabbing his hand in the process. As their eyes locked, his breath escaped his body, paralyzing him, almost forgetting how to breathe in her presence. Her smile gave him the last streak to completely go head over heels for her, his heart stopping.
-You really think I'm pretty?- She asked with innocence, tilting her head to get a better look at his face.
-I d…do.-He answered as he blushed, confused as how much power she had over him, forgetting his smooth talk techniques.- You're so beautiful, even more than the moon.
Suki looked in shock red faced, knowing how important was the moon to him.
-Your just saying that cuz you're sleepy.- She said as she caressed his face.- Hey, we arrived at the island! It's gorgeous.
As her face of happiness and awe registered his mind, he secured her with an arm around her waist, feeling both of their hearts racing. As they landed, the feel of sand under her feet again almost made her a small girl, reminding her of her longed home. Kneeling down to feel it, she sighed relaxed. Standing up in her form, close to the water, she began to train.
His face in awe seeing her so focused. He forgot how sensual she looked being so disciplined. He sat down so he could examine her better. Her face, beginning to heat up from the movements, her arms and legs slender and strong, yet, delicate enough to look gracious while moving.
The sun shinning enough for her eyes and hair to stand up, as if the rays of light enhanced her to look even more as a goddess, rather than a woman. He followed her as she moved across the shore, losing himself in broad daylight, unable to hide the fact he admired her whole personality and strength.
-Hey loverboy, we still need to move our things ya know?- Toph teased punching him in the arm, taking him again of his mind as he took their bags and walked inside the house.
His heart racing in embarrassment, as he sat down in the tent. He felt stupid and too paranoid of Zuko telling Katara. Wondering even if she would come to his tent again, a small frame entered it. Of course it was Suki. Her smile as warming and welcoming as always, blushing brighter as she got close to him. He quickly stood up, smiling back as his nerves began to appear.
Interlacing their hands they just stood there looking at each other. In this very moment he was not Sokka Captain Boomerang, he was just Sokka, a waterboy madly in love of her warrior. He made the first move, grabbing her face with both of his hands to close more the space between them. Her heart began to beat harder, being audible to Sokka. Both knew why they agreed to meet in his tent.
-Hello, Sokka.- She said in a low voice. Her eyes filled with love.
-Hello my beautiful girlfriend.- Answered Sokka, offering a big smile.
As actions spoke louder than words, he kissed her. His heart speeding up again, taking the chance of going all the way. Her hands slowly outlining his arms.
He picked guided her to the floor, laying on his back as she sat right in his hips, as if a missing puzzle piece was found. Both beginning to loose all their air, panting, breaking apart for the second round. His mind racing with images of both of them he had only imagined and dreamed months ago. Bot of their hearts thumping fast, hard and loud, making them giggle as their nervousness was noticed and heard.
His heat infecting her as well, as his groin grew just looking at the outline of her figure. Strong and delicate, such a rare combination. She blushed timidly as her eyes focused in his chest and neck, also noticing his excitement in her hips. High on love, her lips met his neck as her hands wandered down of his body.
Something about being proactive was not what he expected, but surprises tend to be better. Moaning softly, his heart completely matching her heartbeat, willing to make her happy in body and soul, taking care of her and protecting her.
As clothes were discarded and bodies united in a moment of love and passion, the couple slowly consummated their love, Sokka sweet talking to her as she tried to keep her voice down. The moment was as perfect as he thought would be, kissing and loving her the only way he knew he could, dancing and enjoying the company.
As the ritual concluded, their smiles were as big as their face would permit them. Feeling again young and revitalized, he stroke her hair, looking at her face. He took the chance and now they both were their always and forever. Her face blushed and happy, trying to find the words to properly summary her feelings.
-Sokka…I…
His eyes lighting, shocked. "Is this happening?" He knew exactly what she was trying to said, as his warrior hardly knew how to spit the words out of her mouth. This was the moment, his whole teenage dream was being completely. Blushing hard, he finished her words.
-I love you Suki.- Her eyes watering lightly, smiling and hugging him hard.
-I love you too…I missed you there…
He interrupted her with a kiss.
-You talk to much.- He said giggling.- Nothing will happen to you again. I'm yours and you're mine. Nothing will happen to you again, over my dead body.
-Don't say that…You know…war.
He laughed lightly, kissing her again as she responded.
-Not tonight…tonight is just you and me.
From dusk till dawn, the couple slept. Sokka waking up before her, smiling just a the fact she was in their adventure, valuing her more as warrior and a woman.
He closed his eyes again, thanking the avatar for the opportunity to meet the love of his live, and resumed sleeping.
That's it :) Have a great day!
