The sun shine bright as the couple woke up, forgetting they were supposed to be on a date in town. They looked at each other and smiled, happy of being close and intimate without the rest of the group butting in. He stretched himself, to proud to wake her up hours prior, his limbs feeling unresponsive.

-Suki.

-Yes?- She asked facing him, still laying on him.

-Can you pinch my legs and arm? I think they died this morning

She laughed and sat beside him, punching his leg and pinching his arm. A soft cry of pain escaped his mouth as the sensation of pain was received in his brain, finally moving at his will.

-Thank you so much for last night Sokka.- She said with a small, shy smile. He sat to kiss her, the growl in her stomach interrupting them.

-Well, now we need to take care of that- He said pointing to her belly, making her smack the hand away.

-Sure we do, let's get out before you try making more food jokes.- She said standing up, offering him a hand with a grin. He made a small laugh as he took her hand, standing up without losing the strong grip making their way to the main road.

Both ran towards the entrance of the town, Suki jumping and at times impulsing herself with Sokka. He tried at times to grab her to slow her but even at that she was better than him! The bet placed was who was to pay the tab on their breakfast. He smiled as he saw her close to the entrance, tented to grab his boomerang and smack her butt.

She jumped for a dramatic effect on the win. Turning around to face the loser, she put her fingers on a shape of a L on her forehead, sticking her tongue out. He catch up and kissed her cheek, surrounding one arm across her shoulder so they would search their place.

As they sat down with their food, both devored it, almost too excited to have a lot of free time alone. Chit chat was not on their itinerary today, as they had to make the most of it. Full of food and energy, the almost ran to a nearby fountain, Sokka leading this time.

-Hey why're we so close to the foun…NO.-She said preparing for a fight

He's devilish smile confirmed her the macabre plan he had in mind. Trying to grab her she jumped to the ledge, backing away from him. Some people stared but didn't mind it as it was common of couples playing or kissing beside the fountain. Sokka tried to splash her as she dodged it again.

-Watch out Suki. I'm the powerful captain water.- He said grabbing with both hands water, throwing it to her.

-Careful Mr. Water.-She said getting close to him, her fists formed in both hands.-You can regret trying to wet me…again

A big smirk appeared in his face as he threw the water at her. Too slow, it splashed her face and hair, a playful frown on her face.

-Alright, off with your head!

He grabbed more water and splashed it to her body, this time dodging it. She pushed him towards the fountain, falling on his butt. He immediately stood up, mouthing the words "It's On" as he started splashing like crazy.

She laughed and circled him as if trying to catch a pig, making him dizzy.

-Hey! Come back here coward! Stop running in circles!.

She entered the fountain and stopped behind him, pushing him again towards the water.

-Right, that's why I'm getting away Captain Water!

Sokka quickly grabbed her hand but was dragged out of the fountain with her. The ran across the street, laughing and air drying themselves. They stopped in a small alley, searching for air as their laughter increased in volume.

They stopped laughing and look at each other, their faces shinning of happiness and love.

-You sure are adventurous eh?- Sokka said as he surrounded her again.

-Well, if by that you mean going out with you, I am.- She said laughing, making him laugh too.

"She has the prettiest laugh I have ever heard…and so contagious too!" He thought without stopping laughing. They regained their composure and walked out of the alley, coughing some more trying to muffle the laughter. His hand reaching for her waist, pulling her closer as they walked.

They met the end of downtown, where firework sellers waited for people to buy some. They looked at each other, agreeing to buy some to use later. They examined the variety and size of them, Sokka grabbing some of them amazed, making grab her clothes or hand to show her like a small boy.

Suki saw small sparklers, immediately buying a bunch to give to the rest of the group. Sokka eyed her like a puppy for her to buy him bigger and more… as he expressed, exciting fireworks. Suki excused them, thanking for their time and pulling Sokka away from the vendors.

-But..but… I wanted to try those ones! They go… PIUUUUU WHOOSH PAW! Also FIIIIIIIIIIII PAM!- He explained with all his body language, trying to emulate the sounds and exposure the fireworks do.

-I know rocket man.-She said laughing- BUT… we must not bring too much attention remember?

He looked at her upset. -I just want to do more fun things! Something to lose our day like….

A loud gasp erupted from his mouth, running to the wall behind her.

-Look! This is perfect!- He said showing her the poster too close to her face.

She eyed curiously, reading out loud the poster:

-"The boy in the Iceberg?" Wait is that…

-Shhhh!-He ran to put a hand on her mouth. She reacted licking all of it, surprising him as he removed his hand and clean it on his clothes.

-You better do that later on the camp…

-Or what?-She said huskly.

He blushed and smiled, rolling the poster. -Shall we return ma lady?- He said gesturing her with one hand for her to take.

-Alright, let's convince them to see the play.-She said taking his hand, walking both to the campsite.

7 hours later

-Really that was the worst play ever!-Aang said sitting down at the side of the beach.

-What a way to ruin the day-Zuko said placing both of his hand on the sides of his face.

-Pss…Suki…

-Mmm?-Suki reacted as Sokka whispered something to her ear. Her eyes lit up and she ran inside the house.

The gaang looked at Sokka surprised, as if he was the reason to scare her.

-Did she broke up with you?-Toph said mocking him.

-No!- He answered, crossing his arms across his chest- Just wait.

Suki came back with the bag and gave one of the sparklers to their friends. As she reached Toph, she pulled out a medium size metal dragon sculpture she bought.

-Aww sweet! I can practice some bending as y'all play with fire.- She said staying to the side and focusing on deforming the sculpture.

Zuko lit up fire at the wood and all of them put their sparklers close to it, screaming and smiling as it ignited and shine in the dark night.

They all played and jumped on the sand, forming imaginary figures with the effect it left on the eyes for staring too long at them.

Sokka and Suki after finishing laughing and drawing, faced each other, smiling as the sparkler stared to die. They got close, leaning in for a kiss. Instead they brushed their noses, enjoying this moment.

-I wish we could stay like this all day- He said.

-Just have patience.- She answered, as her sparkler died, throwing her hands around his neck.

He smiled even bigger, too in love to notice his sister behind them.

-I love you Suki~

As she tried to answer, a wave of water hit them making them fall. The boys and katara laughed, with their sparklers starting to die. Sokka stood up fast and started chasing around her sister, which playfully ran away from him. Aang helped Suki back on her feet, both of them laughing at the scene the brothers were making.

The sky filled up with colors and smoke, fireworks being thrown from downtown. The siblings stopped playing and sat dawn with the group, smiling in awe as they kept lighting up the darkness of the beach.

Sokka searched for his girlfriend hand, gripping it as he found it. She turned to face him as he mouthed a silent "Love you", Suki answering as silently as him, resting her head as all of them continued to watch the spectacle in the sky.
