I was up in my room crying my eyes out. I couldn't stop crying as I had a crush on a Typhlosion whom saved my life years ago but we couldn't be together so I grabbed some whiskey and tried to drown the memories but to no avail and I eventually got wasted and cried like a baby all night.

"What's wrong?" My daughter asked the next morning. I replied "It's your mother… I love her yet we can't be together as it's taboo. She said "Fuck the rules! You love her and I need her so please father…" I nodded and hit my knees in prayer "Father Arceus, please let me be with Ada even if I go to hell for it, I don't care as I need her in my life. Either do that or please take me out of this world through death." I started crying as a voice said "Why the long face child? You two were meant to be together so take her as your wife. I give you my blessing."

I immediately stopped what I was doing and grabbed my phone. I dialed Ada's number and it rang once before a familiar voice said "Yes?" I said in tears "Please come over. I can't take it anymore." She said "But it's taboo. What would Lord Arceus say?" I said "I've already talked to him. He said that we were meant to be together and we have his blessing." She thought for a minute and said "OK. If Lord Arceus says it's OK then I'll be over in fifteen minutes."

I cried "Thank you." I went to the bathroom, washed my face and put clean clothes on. I then sat on the couch until a female Typhlosion opened it and looked at me with her beautiful red eyes. She sat down next to me and smelled me. She said "You smell like alcohol. Have you been drinking?" I said honestly "Yes. I couldn't bear the thought of living without you. I almost committed suicide just thinking about going on without you." She kissed me and I nuzzled her cheek. I said "I love you too much and can't go on without you."

She nuzzled me and I laid my head on her bulky chest. She petted me softly and I fell asleep.

The next morning I awoke to snoring. I opened my eyes and saw Ada asleep next to me. I got dressed and grabbed a wedding band. I put it in my pocket and waited for her to wake up. Once she did, I led her to the outside in front of several humans. I said "This is it Ada. I have something to ask." She looked at me curiously and I got down on one knee in front of everyone. I pulled out the wedding band I'd been saving for her and asked "Will you marry me? I can't think of anyone else I'd like to spend my life with."

She put her paws to her face and said "Yes! I love you baby." We kissed for five minutes until someone tapped me on the shoulder. I looked around and it was Arceus. He said "I don't normally come down for humans, but I came down to marry you two. No human has shown love to a Pokemon like you do. You love her as if she was human and that makes me proud of my daughter and her husband." Ada said "Dad?" Arceus looked at her and said "Yes dear?"

She said "Thank you for letting me marry Jason." Arceus said "Thank you for showing me that love exists even between species. I couldn't be a good father if I didn't let my daughter be happy with the man she loves." I nodded and he said "Jason…" I looked him in the eyes and said "Yes Lord?" He sighed and said "Do you take Ada to be your lawfully wedded wife?" I said "I do." He continued "And Ada, do you take Jason as your lawfully wedded husband?" She said "I do." Arceus said "Then I pronounce you man and wife."

I kissed her on the snout and she put her tongue on my lips asking for entry. I opened my mouth and she put her tongue in my mouth as I followed suit. We memorized each other's mouths as our tongues went into every nook and cranny of our mouths. We kissed for nearly an hour before we broke up and I led her home. I said "We need to tell everyone that we're married." She said "OK, but how will they react?" I said "I don't know, but I imagine they'd be pissed as to us breaking every rule and boundary set by our people." She nodded fearfully and I said "You heard Arceus, we're married by his order. It's not like you didn't consent to this life."

She nodded and I called my mother Claire. I said "Hey mom?" She said "What is it sweetie?" I said "I just got married." She said "Good for you! What's the lucky ladies name?" I said "Ada." She was silent for a minute before saying "It's not that Ada is it?" I sighed and said "Yes, but Arceus himself married us, apparently Ada's his daughter." She said "Jason, Pokemon were meant to be lesser creatures always obeying orders not equals." I sighed in frustration and said a little louder then I meant to "Arceus is a God! And we treat each other with dignity and respect can't you see that!?"

I hung up in frustration and said "Ada…" She looked at me and I said "I'm going out for a walk. I'll be back in an hour." She nodded and said "Be safe…" I kissed her and patted her head gently. I went out the door and headed off towards the forest. I said to myself "That bitch doesn't understand me or Ada's dreams. Arceus is OK with it why not her?" I yelled "Fuck!" and kicked a rock. I let out a long stream of curse words and hit my knees in prayer once again.

I prayed "Lord Arceus please help…" No answer… I heard in Church that persistence was sometimes the key. I repeated myself and lifted my heart to the heavens. I tried for nearly thirty minutes until my knees gave out and I fell on my face. Suddenly a female voice said "Jason?" I got up and wiped the tears off my face. I turned around and saw a female Mew looking at me with it's blue eyes. I asked "What are you doing here?" It said "I've come to relieve you of your sorrows." I said "I don't wanna die, I have a wife now."

The Mew said "I'm Jill and I'm not here to kill you." I asked "Why are you here then?" She said "Follow me." I nodded and followed her to a clearing. She said "Here we are." She brought out a Mewtwo? I asked "What's that doing here?" Jill said "It got in a fight and got injured. If we don't treat it's wounds it'll die." I nodded and said "I'll take it to my house." Jill nodded and I threw the unconscious Mewtwo over my shoulder and headed home.

I came inside my house and Ada immediately said "Oh my Arceus, is he OK?" I shook my head and said "He needs medical attention now." Ada nodded and I threw the Mewtwo on my couch and began to disinfect the wounds. I stitched them closed and put ice on the bruises. I said "That should hold." Ada asked "How'd you find the Mewtwo?" I said "From a Mew named Jill." She nodded and I explained how I met Jill. She listened intently and said "Ah I understand. I'll stay and watch Mewtwo."

I nodded and went to grab a glass of water. I drunk it slowly keeping an eye on Mewtwo when Jill came flying through the window. I asked "What is it Jill?" She said "It's your father! He's on his way to talk to you." I sighed in annoyance. Why did he always have to ruin everything? I said "Dammit. He probably wants to chew me out about Ada." Mew said "I don't think so, from the way he was running it's more important." I nodded and said "Well we'll see." I waited for nearly a half hour before I heard knocking on the door.

I opened it and saw a male Typhlosion, my father Leon looking at me with it's red eyes, so I invited it in. By that time Mewtwo was awake and sitting up. It looked at me and said "Are you the one whom saved me?" I said "Yeah." It asked "Why?" I said "Because you were in need and I'm half Pokemon myself. Typhlosion to be exact." It nodded and the Typhlosion said "Jason?" I replied "Father?" He asked "Who are you married to?" I pointed towards Ada and said "Dad, this is Ada my wife."

He looked at her and said "You're a lucky woman. Jason is extremely loyal and a fighter for what he believes in." He shook her hand and said "Jason, I think it's time you knew your past." I nodded and said "OK?" Leon sighed and told me that I was conceived by him and Claire Redfield. I was infected at a young age and against all odds, I survived. I was still myself but with physical mutations like blue hair, red eyes and pointy ears on top of my head. I always seemed attached to Typhlosions and would hang out with them until I fell and hit my head on a rock.

I lost all my memories and began living as a purebred human. Until I met Ada then they slowly started coming back in dreams and nightmares. I never knew what the dreams meant and suddenly it all came back to me. I then remembered everything about my best friend Chris Redfield. I said "What happened to Chis?" Leon said "He's king now. Of the Typhlosions." I nodded and got up. I said "I need to talk to him." Leon nodded and said "I'll see what I can do." We had all but forgotten Mewtwo was here. It asked "Who's Chris?"

I replied "An old friend whom wanted to be king to protect weaker Pokemon." Mewtwo said "Ah, I understand and again thanks for saving me." I said "Not all humans are evil. I hope I can change your mind about that." Mewtwo nodded and said "I think you already have. From here on out I choose to protect humans instead of destroy them." It hugged me and said "Father. You have given me a new life so I will use that life for good not evil." Ada smiled and said "I think you've changed someone for the better."

Jill came into the room and said "Jason?" I nodded and asked "Yes?" Jill replied "Can you tell Chris that I'm fine?" I said "I will, I'm sure he'll love to hear about you." Mewtwo asked "Father, I'd like to pay my respects to Lord Arceus." I nodded and said "You can come with me." Mewtwo said "Thank you." Leon said "Come with me Ada, Jason and Mewtwo. He wants to see you." I nodded and Leon opened a portal to the Other World. We all went inside and were teleported to Chris' domain.

I bowed in respect and Chris asked "Who is this?" I replied "An old friend, Jason Kennedy." Chris said "I remember you. How's the wife?" I replied "Good and now mother won't speak to me." Chris sighed and said "That's to be expected as human and Pokemon relationships are frowned upon, but I'll try to talk to her." I nodded and said "Thank you." Ada said "I'm Jason's wife Ada." Chris said "Nice to meet you." Ada bowed like me and stood back up.

I noticed distress in his face and asked "What's wrong?" He replied "It's Jill. I haven't seen her in years and It still haunts me." I said "I spoke to her earlier today and she told me to tell you that she's doing fine." Chris smiled slightly and said "Ever since they brought her back from the dead we've drifted apart. I still miss her. I remember the Mansion Incident like it was yesterday. We were S.T.A.R.S back then. Then Uroborus took hold in Africa and I thought Wesker killed her but he only controlled her and me and Sheva Alomar fought her to free her and then she died."

I said "That's so sad." Chris began to tear up and looked at Leon. He said "How's Claire?" He replied "She divorced me after my transformation." Chris said "I can't believe this! Claire left you?" Leon nodded and said "Unfortunately." Chris shed a tear and said "I'll see what I can do. Jason?" I looked at him and asked "Yes?" Chris said "Come here." I obeyed and he put a hand on a shoulder. He said "I'm going to give you the power of transformation. I will allow you to become your inner Pokemon at will."

I felt a sharp pain in my leg and I felt my body change shape. There was a flash of light and then I was on all fours covered in fur. I was a Typhlosion! I roared and felt my muscular body's weight. I then looked at Ada and said "I'm still me baby." She kissed me and said "I know darling." I licked her face affectionately and she closed her eyes. I then concentrated and became human again. I said "That could be useful defending our future family."

Ada said "I know. Um Jason? I don't know how to say this, but I'm pregnant." I looked at her in shock and said "Baby that's wonderful! But how? We've never had sex yet." She said "Arceus must've granted our wish. It's a female." I said "Then we'll name her Katelyn?" Ada nodded and said "That's a pretty name." We kissed and went through the portal home. We went inside and slept together.

9 months later…

I woke up to our new daughter Katelyn crying. I went to the crib and changed her diaper as Ada slowly got up. I said "It's fine, I got it." Ada kissed me and went to take a shower. I laid down beside Katelyn in my Typhlosion form and she listened to my heartbeat. She quickly fell asleep and I nuzzled her gently. I knew then that my life was perfect and wouldn't change it for anything else.

I got up and Katelyn began to snore. I smiled and went back into my human self. I heard a voice say "So you're a father now…" I sensed a presence behind me and quickly turned around. I saw my mother Claire staring at me. I said "Yeah so what? I love my wife and kid." Claire nodded and said "I'm so sorry that you feel like you have to be loved so you married a beast." That insult struck me hard in the chest, but I merely said "Fuck you." I then said "Go away before I call the cops and file charges for breaking and entering."

Claire looked shocked and left mumbling in anger. I said "Ada?" Ada said "Yes?" I responded "I love you baby." She kissed me and said "I love you two." I kissed her back and said "I would die for you and Katelyn." Ada nodded and said "I would die for you as well." We snuggled with her head on my chest and Katelyn crawled in between us and said "Dada." I was shocked as that was her first word.

Ada exclaimed happily "Oh my Arceus! Kate just said her first word!" I said "I'm surprised honestly." And began to nuzzle Katelyn. She closed her eyes and purred as I held her gently. Soon my phone rang and I answered it. I said "Hello?"
