Begin report.
Subject seems bored. Takes note of everything in the room before taking a seat.
"Hello, Agent Shadow-"
"Let's get this over with, Miss Jones."
Correction to previous observation: subject is annoyed.
"Very well. I've been requested by Hope Kintobor to make a comprehensive list of GUN's mistakes. You are-"
"Here to talk about the ARK raid. I'm aware."
Subject seems to be both irritated and possibly frightened to discuss this.
"…Yes, Agent Shadow. I'm aware this may be difficult, but I would appreciate complete honesty-"
"Ask. The. Questions."
Subject is angry, but attempting to remain calm.
"Very well. Do you have all your memories again? You reported some amnesia."
"Yes. After the Black Arms Invasion, my memories returned."
"Did you know many people on the ARK?"
Subject has stiffened, but is responding.
"Yes."
Subject has fallen silent. Investigator probes further,
"Could you list some of the individuals you were closest with?"
"Dr. Gerald Robotnik, executed for treason. Dr. Barlen, shot in the head. Dr. Griffon, shot in the heart. Dr. Sirachas, shot 12 times by firing squad. Dr. Elian, shot in the head and heart."
Subject pauses, taking a deep breath as his hands grip the chair tightly.
"Maria Robotnik, shot in the back."
"Do you know why GUN was sent-"
Subject's quills bristle upwards as he growls.
"They were concerned for Dr. Gerald Robotnik's experiments and lack of progress, and believed him to be working with an enemy nation. They immediately sent a firing squad to eliminate the scientists. Maria was labelled an 'unfortunate accident'."
"I…Why did you list the way the researchers died?"
Subject seems confused by the question.
"…Clarification. I do not want to relive the worst day of my life more times than necessary, Miss Jones."
"Of…of course. Could you tell me the exact nature of the experiments the scientists were doing?"
"No: I signed a non-disclosure agreement. I cannot reveal that information without approval from the Commander."
Subject looks over the paper investigator reveals.
"…Weapons for the most part. The one they spent the most time on was the Eclipse Cannon, though there were other weapons. Some were biomechanical, like the Biolizard. Others were biological weapons that could mutate DNA. Even others were advanced nerve gas, nuclear weapons, ordinance. Anything you could possibly imagine was being developed there, all under GUN's approval and request. Others were medical advancement. Cures for influenza, coronavirus, cancer, blindness, first aid machines that were more portable and durable. The one I am most familiar with is the attempt to create a cure for NIDS. They succeeded, though Maria's case had progressed too far to treat."
Subject seems deeply troubled by this, but does not further elaborate. Investigator continues,
"You haven't mentioned the Commander. Is there a reason?"
"The Commander was cured of his NIDS, but was to stay on board until they could be sure there were no side effects. I did not personally interact with him often, only during his treatment sessions; therefore, he was irrelevant to the questions."
"Were you particularly close to Maria Robotnik?"
Subject visibly looks unsettled, though face remains neutral.
"…I considered her a sister."
Subject almost whispers this. Investigator says,
"I'm so-"
"Are there any more questions?"
Subject seems to want to leave.
"A few more, Agent Shadow. We're aware that you were one of the experiments. Could you give some details as to what the scientists did to you?"
Subject's face warps into what seems to be disgust, and his arms shift to be wrapped around his chest.
"…Dr. Gerald Robotnik and Maria Robotnik were the only ones who viewed me as a living being with thoughts, including Black Doom, my other biological creator. As such, I was subjected to many different experiments under GUN's advisement."
"…Could you give some examples? I recognize it may be painful, but-"
"I was a lab rat, Miss Jones. That is all the scientists viewed me as. Use your own imagination."
Subject seems to be reaching the end of his cooperation. Investigator attempts to coax him into more information.
"Please, Agent Shadow: the more we have to go on, the more likely others won't go through what you did-"
"If GUN does what they did to me to anyone else, I will take down the agency myself."
Subject is deadly serious, and investigator falls silent.
"If you insist, I will provide details. I was frequently subjected to insomnia episodes to see how long I could function without rest. I can function for 2 months without rest at about half of my normal effectiveness. I was subjected to periods of starvation or different styles of rationing to see if I require nourishment like a Mobian or human. I do, if in smaller amounts with more meats and proteins. I was once placed in a vacuum for 5 minutes in 30-minute intervals to see how it affected me. I lost consciousness at the 5th time. And that was with Dr. Gerald attempting to protect me from their creative torture methods, and GUN observing the entire process. I am taking my leave."
Subject stands up.
"Just one more question, Agent Shadow."
"No."
Subject says curtly, pulling open the door.
"Please."
Subject pauses, but turns around, glaring.
"Do you have any complaints about how GUN functions currently?"
"…No, so long as I don't discover they have hurt any more innocent people recently. If they do, my suggestion is they correct it quickly: I have grown up since that raid, and I won't allow someone else to go through anything remotely similar at their hands."
Subject leaves room.
End Report.
