Summary: Blaine meets up with Sebastian as they wait for Kurt's consequences to begin.
Notes: Short chapter while necessary, didn't fit at the end of the last chapter or beginning of the next.
Sure enough, when Blaine found Sebastian both Mercedes and Doctor Shepard were with him. The grouping made him pause, not knowing where to begin. Maybe it was best if he just began with "Hello. I see Brody wasn't kidding."
The guests gave him a quick acknowledgement but went right back into their conversation as Sebastian joined him to speak semi-privately. "If you're talking about my company, he wasn't. I thought it best he give you a heads up."
"Thanks for that."
Evidentially, Sebastian wasn't satisfied with his response. "That's all you've got for me?"
"What? Do you want me to say you were right in making me talk to Rachel?"
"Yes"
"Do you want me to say I've forgiven her?"
"Only if you mean it."
"Well, I wouldn't." Blaine sighed. He wasn't going to tell him about the false-positive pregnancy but was willing to admit "I can understand a little better how her mind twisted into thinking working with Kurt was a good idea. I also realize, while what happened with you was fucked up, the person she betrayed wasme. However…" Blaine stepped forward and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, melting into his chest "I have a sneaking suspicion that whole intervention was a set-up for me to see what a big fucking hypocrite I am for being pissed at what she did when I went behind your back and didn't tell you I brokered a plea deal."
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"Bas"
"Yes, Killer"
"Thank you." Blaine's thoughts went to his early ones about the need to be punished. They made him smile. "Just so you know, I plan on showing my gratitude in a much more personal manner when we get back to Dalton. Maybe a call to Jeremiah is in order?"
"Oh, Sweetheart, he's meeting us at the store Wednesday evening. I already sent a text." Sebastian's low growl caused Blaine to pull back from his chest and stare at him with a wide-eyed panic. "Remember at the Sugar Shack 2.0 when you told me you were going to make me your sex toy for a week but things got crazy and it never happened? Too bad because it's my turn."
Oh, he remembered. What Blaine didn't remember was his boyfriend ever being like this. Not that he was complaining…except for the fact they had company. And it wasn't even the fact they had company but who the company was. Hell, Santana once offered a foursome with her and Brittany if/when he and Sebastian ever wanted to lose their gold-star status. And while Mercedes wasn't as…as, ok, uptight as she had been last year, Blaine didn't see her as a voyeur.
Then he remembered something. Contrary to popular belief, he was the dominate one in this relationship. He was Wolverine. All he had to do was speak in that one particular voice…too bad Blaine lost all ability to form words when Sebastian's thigh shifted and began to discretely rub against his dick.
Oh shit! Was Sebastian still talking?
"What are you going to do about her?"
Her? Her? Oh, Rachel. "I, I'm not ready to forgive, but I want to talk to Leroy and Hiram."
With the admission, Sebastian let Blaine go (bastard) and nodded to Doc and Mercedes "She told us about why you two think Gayface is so obsessed with Sierra."
Shit! But this was the one thing Blaine refused to apologize for keeping to himself. "Bas, I know she's your sister…"
"What were you going to say? Hey, Bas? You know that sister of yours? The one Kurt insisted you didn't have but we know he knew you did? Well, guess what? She's a doppelganger for his mother, down to currently being around the same age as when she died. That's some next level freaky shit, Killer."
"Freaky shit?"
"It's what Mercy called it and I couldn't come up with a better description. You've got to know, she only said something because she wanted Doc's opinion. Good thing he called about needing to see you."
"Me?" Well, that didn't sound good. "I just assumed he was here out of some morbid curiosity to see what Brody looked like" Blaine admitted.
He must have said it loud enough for Dr. Shepard to know it was fine to join the conversation. "No, just a bonus. Got to say, he is pretty hot."
"Hey!"
Sebastian's outburst turned Doc's chuckle to a full-on laugh. "Yes, yes, you're pretty too, Seb, but Blaine, the reason I'm here is because my husband got a frantic call from his brother a couple of hours ago."
"Doctor Carl?" Blaine was confused and was willing to admit it. "I'm sorry if he's having issues…"
"The only issue he's having is his neurotic, possibly psychotic, but definitely OCD ex-wife showed up at his door, sobbed incoherently for an hour then fell asleep on his couch. He knew you were here in NYC and wondered if I could use you to get a hold of one of the New Directions. He really doesn't want to try to contact that weird principal and he made his opinions clear when asked about Emma's current husband."
"Fuck!" Blaine pulled out his phone to see if he had reception. Thankfully, he did.
"Who are you calling?" Dr. Shepard asked. "I can call Carl…"
"I'm not calling Carl. I'm calling Cooper."
Blaine walked away as the others stood in a stunned silence. They (even Sebastian) hadn't realized Blaine and his brother were on speaking terms again, although it made sense since Cooper handled the family's response when Schuester cornered Sugar.
It didn't take long for Blaine to come back. "Ok, Cooper already has someone watching Schuester but he's putting on an extra guy on the detail. He's also sending another two to Carl's. And I might have overstepped, but I called Tina from the New Directions and gave her Carl's number. She's been reporting back to Sam on everything happening at McKinley. While I've stayed out of it, I can guarantee if there's one person who knows everyone else's business, it's Tina Cohen-Chang."
"She wouldn't tell Emma's husband she's at Carl's, would she's?"
"Definitely not" Mercedes assured the doctor. "If it helps, she's an original member so he probably remembers her."
"That actually does. Thanks." Doc noticed both Sebastian and Blaine checking the clock. "When does whatever's going to happen?"
"Any time now" Sebastian answered then cocked his eyebrow as he remembered something. "Shouldn't you be out having a romantic dinner with your hubby since tomorrow you'll be at Blaine's concert?"
"Damn it! We had reservations…"
"Where?" Mercedes asked as she opened her phone. Acting as Blaine's assistant the past few days had taught her a lot. In less than five minutes, she not only had the reservation pushed back but a complimentary bottle of champagne thrown in. After a quick goodbye and call if you need me from the doctor, she sat down and got comfortable. While doing so her eyes never left the boys, daring them to tell her she had to leave.
They didn't, it would have been a waste of time. Instead, the two of them settled on a small couch with direct view of the back of the door. "I wish we knew what was going on across the hall" Blaine said through a yawn as he dropped his head on Sebastian's shoulder.
"I'm sure we'll hear Gayface's screech soon enough." Sebastian could hear Blaine's breath start to develop a rhythm. "Why don't you take a nap?"
"No, want to be alert when it's time."
"Then once this is done you need to go home and sleep."
"Can't, going to Wes and David's place to get yelled at about taking the plea deal."
Sebastian laid his head on top of Blaine's and sighed. "No, you don't. You're tired, Killer, and tomorrow is your Julliard show. The one reason you're in NYC in the first place. Between giving testimony against the former head master, your parent's stupid intervention, the stupider Sebreak, LA, the impromptu trip to Vegas, Brody, Hummel, Santana's photo shoot, Schuester going after Sugar, Rachel, NYADA, our fight and all the other drama you've crammed into these three weeks…you…are…tired. I'll deal with the guys…"
He stopped because there was no reason to continue, Blaine was sound asleep. Sebastian smiled as he remembered the night Blaine taught him what a big spoon was and then pretended to be asleep while he gave the infamous I'm In declaration. This time there was no way his boyfriend was fake sleeping because Sebastian had discovered his I'm not faking it tell.
Turned out, even Blaine Anderson's cute little snore sounded like singing.
An hour later, the alert they had been waiting for popped up on Mercedes' phone. She had been so engrossed in text messaging she hadn't noticed Blaine and Sebastian until she began to say something. They were both asleep, heads resting on the other's and holding hands. It was just so frickin' adorable…
Of course, she took pictures.
"Blaine, Sebastian" she said while shaking them gently. "It's time."
CNN with Anderson Cooper
Tomorrow, Congressman Burt Hummel, a highly respected Representative from Ohio is expected to plead guilty before a House Ethics Committee on charges he used his office to bribe the administrator at a private school his son once attended.
CNN has obtained proof Congressman Hummel had nothing to do with any of the allegation he is facing but is instead covering for his son. When we come back, we will ask a series of guests, including Congressman Hummel, the age-old question…How far should a parent go to protect a child?
Notes:
If you hadn't guessed, revealing the Kurt's mom looks just like Sebastian's sister twist was why this chapter was necessary. I had held on to it a little too long…Oops
With everything going on I know a little "bribing the administrator at a private school his son once attended" seems ridiculous but seriously, this entire story is over-the-top ridiculous.
Like I said the chapter was short. I had to throw in the Sexy Sebastian to get it over the minimal word count I wanted. I didn't think you guys would mind.
