Forgotten
"You know when you keep going it could actually become quiet good!" Reedus mused while looking at Erza´s painting.
"What do you mean with actually?!" Angrily the redhead turned to the man, who just spoke so degrading about her work.
"Oh here we go, Lu-chan let´s get another glass of wine!" Levy watched her friend chasing after the slender man who screamed his apologies. "Or a bottle…"
The blonde looked up from her painting and smiled happily. She was a little tipsy but proud of the picture she was about to finish, it only missed that one tiny sparkle to make it perfect. The only problem was that she was not able to fully concentrate since Bixlows brothers arrived earlier the day.
"More wine sounds great!"
They were allowed to use the balcony of the second floor for their wine and paint nights as they decided to call it, Lucys idea of creating and fainting got declined, something she was still mad about.
The two girls made their way downstairs to the bar. The guild was rather empty this late evening, most members went home already after Laxus stopped the third fight of the day and particularly ordered Natsu to keep his distance from the building until the next morning. Laxus had been in a bad mood after this incident but now seemed to be more relaxed while bartering with Master Kaleb about his electronic mission board. He and his brother made the trip to Magnolia after an audience with the princess in Crocus.
Normally they would have sat on the second floor but it was occupied, that could have also been a reason why Laxus was so sour the whole day but Lucy didn't mind to offer him the place Erza fought so hard for. The S-class mage almost begged their master for the one evening in the month where they could use the balcony for whatever they pleased to do.
"Hey Kinana, is Mira not here?" Levy asked, looking for the other barmaid.
"Yeah she said, she had to prepare something for Elfman end Evergreen before they come back from their mission." She smiled and Lucy was sure that whatever Mira has planned was nothing pleasant. It never was. Levy shuddered next to her, obviously thinking the same.
"Nevertheless, can I get you something?"
"Oh yeah, can we get another bottle of wine?" Kinana nodded and made her way to the backroom. The blonde took the moment to observe the guild or rather the table of Laxus, Bixlow and his brothers. She knew him, well she thought she knew him. Must have met him while she was still with her father but that was years ago.
"A decade…" She mumbled out loud still starring at the men.
"Did you say something Lu?" Levy´s gaze was on Erza who caged Reedus in a corner and threatened to cut off his pinky. "Maybe we should help him?"
They didn´t move, simply watched two different sides of the guild hall.
Kinana came back and silently gave them the bottle. They filled their glasses and sat down on the barstools.
"I think the lesson for today is over." Levy mused while sipping on her glass.
"I can´t believe we´re that old." Lucy murmured.
Irritated the script mage looked at her friend. "What did you say?"
"What?" Startled the blonde blinked a few times.
"I thought you said something, I´m gonna go and help Reedus. You ok here?" Levy jumped from the stool and checked her friend. It happened often that they had conversations without really talking to each other but this one was weirder than normally.
"Yeah I´m fine, go save the poor man from Erza´s wrath!"
Chugging down her wine, the blonde made her way over to the men. She knew this face yet why would she forget such a handsome man?
"Blondie?" Lucy was standing in front of the table all eyes on her and she just kept starring at him. An amused smile on his face even though she acted so rude.
"Blondie!" Laxus repeated himself, louder this time!
"Huh?" Looking from the not so foreign man to her guild master, she understood her behaviour.
"Oh, sorry! It´s just… I know that face. I mean not only the face, the whole body… Not naked I mean but I know the whole package. Face and body and… Mavis please come and get me!" Lucy rambled, said everything she wanted to say but also everything she did not want to say.
And they laughed. But she didn't laugh because the situation was not amusing for her at all, so she turned to leave.
"Why don't you sit with us and we can try to find out where exactly you know my brother from?" Kaleb offered her the seat right next to him and she hesitantly took it. His brother looked at her suspiciously, he knew exactly where the two of them have met.
"You know cosplayer I´ve never seen you out of words." Bixlow laughed again.
"That's because she´s drunk!" The blonde Dragon Slayer stated arrogantly.
"Am not!" She stuck her tongue out, ignoring the snickering from the men around her.
"You look like Bixlow right now!"
"You never complained about my tongue when it was around your dick!" The blonde shot back, amused by her masters shocked face. What they did in his office after the guild closed was only between them and no one knew about it. It happened occasionally and was simply to release pressure.
Kaleb chuckled next to her, even though he saw some vivid images in her mind that were more than enjoyable he was also curious where the spitfire knew his brother from. He never met the girl before that was for sure but his brother was a little older and as Lucy mused they could have met during an official meeting.
"So Star tell me why do you think you know my brother?" She glanced up to him but quickly turned her gaze to his oldest brother.
"I don´t think I know him. I know that I do!" He smiled at her; he could help her out if she needed help but she seemed to be enjoying the little riddle about his existence.
"You know Farron is the ambassador of Bosco maybe you read about him?" Bixlow offered her and that was the final straw.
"Farron..? Farron Pradesh." She thought, Kaleb heard all the pieces being put together and was intrigued by her fast mind.
"Oh Mavis, Farron!" She jumped from her seat, knocking over some glasses but ignored the angry Dragon Slayers screams. Running around the table she threw herself onto the man she shared her childhood with.
"And here I thought you forgot about me!"
