"Misaki! Over here!"

Misaki turned and faced the bright flashing lights. She smiled and switched angles as the reporters restlessly snapped pictures of her.

A young woman with blond hair and a stunning dress approached Misaki. "Misaki! How are you? I'm Nicole." She held out her hand.

"I'm great Nicole, how are you?" Misaki replied smoothly, shaking her hand.

"I'm doing great Misaki." She replied smiling brightly. Nicole turned to the camera.

"This is Nicole Davis from Life & Style Magazine, bringing you all the juicy gossip. Here we have Misaki Ayuzawa, rising star in Hollywood. Her new movie, Mars will be premiering right behind us. Tell me Misaki, how is the life of stardom?" Nicole questioned, thrusting her mic in Misaki's face.

Misaki smiled at Nicole, "Well Nicole, it certainly has its luxuries but with that there is a lot of pressure. But I enjoy my line of work. It has been really interesting. I've met all kinds of people. It has definitely been hard but worth it." Misaki ended by steering a megawatt smile at the camera.

Nicole removed her mic from Misaki's face, bringing it back to her own. "That's amazing. I couldn't help but notice, you look absolutely stunning Misaki. Who are you wearing?"

"Ah." Misaki said, running her hands down the bodice of her skin tight black dress. "I'm currently wearing Versace."

Misaki's dress hugged her slim figure until her waist where it lightly flared out. A slit exposed her right leg until mid thigh where it elegantly tapered off. The dress also had a slight plunging neckline. Misaki had refused to wear it but Honoka, her makeup artist, had insisted.

"Great choice Misaki! Last question, do we have any love interests at the moment? You and Haruto Yamamoto seemed cozy during the behind the scenes shots of Mars." Nicole eagerly asked. Misaki had lost count of the amount of times she had been asked this question.

Misaki smiled at the camera and cleared her throat, "Me and Haruto are friends but we are strictly professional." Nicole's face dropped a little. Misaki hated getting asked this, but she couldn't exactly refuse to answer as that would blow up on the tabloid pages.

She could already image it,

"MISAKI AYUZAWA REFUSES TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT HER LOVE LIFE! WHAT IS SHE HIDING?"

She didn't have a death wish for her managers.

"Well, that's all for now Misaki. Enjoy the rest of your evening." Nicole said turning back to the camera once more, "You heard it here at Life & Style Magazine! Nicole Davis signing off." Nicole ended. She shook Misaki's hand before disappearing into the crowd.

"MISAKI! WE LOVE YOU!" Someone from the crowd shouted. Misaki turned in their general direction and smiled. The crowd went mad and Misaki resisted the urge to cover her ears, instead she waved and walked away.

The raven headed star walked towards the entrance of the gigantic building waving to fans as she walked along the extravagant red carpet.

Misaki huffed out a relieved sigh after she walked into the theatre. She still wasn't used to the screaming fans, even though it had been so long. Squinting, Misaki walked over to the front row seats, trying to find her mother and her sister.

"Misaki! Over here!" A hushed voice broke through the relative silence.

"Suzana? Is that you?" Misaki whispered in the direction of the voice, cupping her mouth.

"Yes! I'm over here!" A whisper-yell came back.

"Where?" Miskai whisper-yelled back, looking around. All she could see was dark figures..

"Here!" She heard a giggle and turned to her right. Suzana was giggling, her hand in the air, trying to get Misaki's attention. Misaki smiled warmly at them and took her seat next to her mom and her sister.

"Misa! You can't be late to your own movie!" Her mother, Minako, scolded with a stern face.

Misaki got comfortable. "Calm down mom it wasn't my fault, those reporters sure know how to stick to people." Misaki grumbled crossing her arms.

Minako laughed lightly, "Oh Misa, I was just kidding!" She placed a comforting hand on Misaki's crossed arms, "And besides, the movie won't start until all the stars are seated."

"Yes, I know mom." Misaki replied, unfolding her arms.

"Onee-chan, how are you?" Suzana spoke up.

Misaki's face lit up as she turned to face Suzana. She lightly grasped her sister's hands in her own. "Hey Suzu, I'm good, how about you?"

"I'm also good. School is going great before you ask."

"That's good to hear." Misaki replied, smiling at her sister. She knew her well.

"Onee-chan, I'm really proud of you."

"Thanks Suzu, I'm proud of you too." Misaki ruffled her sister's hair.

"Onee-chan! My hair!" Suzana grumbled, reaching out to touch her hair. "Did you ruin it? Mom took a long time doing it!" She said sternly, messing with her hair.

"No I didn't ruin it Suzana." Misaki laughed, re-adjusting herself in her seat so she faced the screen. "Well, I didn't ruin it too badly." She winked at Suzana.

"Onee-chan!" Suzana pouted, using both hands to fix her hair. The amber eyed actress laughed to herself.

Misaki stared at the screen as the opening credits began. Misaki was shocked by how professionally everything was put together. When they were filming, they filmed odd chunks, never in order so she couldn't even imagine the work that went into putting all the scenes together, in order. She stared, awestruck at the screen.

A few minutes later, all her wonder had worn off and now Misaki was fidgeting in her seat. She had never liked staring at herself.

She found it uncomfortable when the kissing scenes came on.

On cue, the kiss scene for Mars appeared and Misaki squirmed in her seat, her eyes darting back and forth between the screen and her family. Behind her, she could hear quiet sighs and she almost ran out of the theatre.

After what seemed like endless antagonising minutes, the movie finally ended. Misaki almost sighed in relief.

After the movie ended, Minako decided to speak up."That movie was lovely Misaki. Especially that ending." Minako sniffed, wiping her eyes with her handkerchief. Misaki rolled her eyes but couldn't help smiling.

"Yeah, it was great Misaki." Her sister replied. Misaki's smile got impossibly bigger as she stared at the two most important people in her lives, chatting between themselves about Misaki's new movie.

The trio walked to the main lobby chatting, where they stopped to say their goodbyes. Minako and Suzana were staying in a close-by hotel. Misaki had insisted they stay with her but they had profusely disagreed, saying they didn't want to burden her already hectic life. They had come all the way to England to see Misaki's premiere and were leaving in a week's time but had promised to meet Misaki before they left. Misaki waved to Minako and Suzana as they climbed into a limo.

"That was a great movie huh Misaki?" A deep voice rang out from behind her. Miskai turned around and faced her co-star, Haruto Yamamoto.

Misaki took in his look. His black hair was gelled back and his midnight blue tuxedo made him look incredibly handsome.

Looking into his blue eyes, Miskaki responded, "Yeah it was. It's amazing how everything was pieced together, it was way better than the rough cut they showed us."

He smiled at her, "Yeah I agree, gotta say, I was kinda shocked about how amazing the stunts came out."

"Same here." She replied, playing with her clutch purse.

"So got any new projects?" Haruto asked casually, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

She smiled at him. "Nah, I don't have any right now. You?"

"Not really. My manager is working hard though. I kinda feel bad for him." Haruto responded, chuckling.

"Yeah, Sakura works really hard as well. I think I have an interview tomorrow." Misaki casually replied, glancing outside. The crowd was still screaming like crazy as actors passed by, and Misaki was already getting nervous. She had never really liked walking past screaming fans, they were unpredictable.

"So are you going to the after party?" Haruto asked, holding out his arm for Misaki.

"Yeah, Erika's forcing me." She looped her arm through his as they made their way to the exit.

Haruto laughed, "Same here." The pair reached the exit which was already storming with paparazzi and fans. "Here we go."

Haruto pushed open the doors and the pair walked out. The security held back the screaming crowd as Misaki and Haruto quickly made their way to their limos.

"Ok, this is your limo. See you at the party?" Haruto asked, turning to face Misaki, stuffing his hands in his pockets. Misaki noticed this gesture. He often did it when he was nervous.

"Yeah sure. That's if we make it." She joked, gesturing to the reporters snapping pictures and the screaming fans. Haruto laughed and said his goodbye.

"How was the movie?" Jax, her bodyguard asked. His intimidating 6'4 body loomed over Misaki as he opened the door. For a bodyguard, he was annoyingly handsome. Girls tended to swarm him but his main focus was always Misaki's protection and she was grateful for that. He had handled over excited fans on many occasions.

"It was great. James did a great job." Jax nodded, closing the door and walked over to the driver side.

"So, are we going to the afterparty?" Jax asked, looking at Misaki through the mirror. He knew Misaki wasn't one for partying.

"Yeah, we are." Misaki answered him, staring back at him through the mirror. Jax nodded again, putting up the black divider screen.

Misaki reached forward and grabbed the garment bag from the opposite seat. She quickly shook off her Versace dress and put on her new Chanel one.

This dress was white and long, dragging slightly across the floor. The top half was gold in colour and went up to her neck.

"5 minutes Misaki." Her driver Jax said through the speakers. Misaki quickly put on her matching heels and earrings and pritzed on some perfume.

Reaching over, Misaki put down the divider screen, "What do you think Jax?"

Jax looked through the mirror at Misaki, "You look great."

A few minutes later, the car slowed to a stop. Misaki looked out of the tinted windows and saw the fans cheering outside.

"Misaki, I'm opening the door ok?" Jax warned before climbing out of the car and approaching Misaki's side.

He opened the door and Misaki elegantly stepped out, slipping her tinted glasses on. Her eyes needed protection from the bright glares of the camera. Security was stationed methodically to stop people sneaking into the party. The after party was a mostly private venue, meaning reporters couldn't come inside but you could never know what they were capable of.

Misaki waved and smiled as she walked towards the building, stopping occasionally for a few photos.

The inside of the building was elegant but it felt small compared to the big-shot celebrities roaming the area, cocktails in hand. The lighting was dim and there was music playing in the background.

"Misaki! Hey." A large hand landed on her shoulder. Misaki turned around.

"Hey James." She smiled. James was the director for Mars. His dark suit blended almost perfectly with the lighting but you could still see his eyes twinkling happily. Misaki was thankful to James- he noticed her talent when no other directors had and insisted she audition for his movie. Before, Misaki had played various supporting roles in movies and been in a few adverts but nothing as big as being a lead character.

"Come, I want to introduce you to some people." James led Misaki to 2 men who were chatting amongst themselves. Both had drinks in their hands and were occasionally sipping from them.

The duo reached the group and James gestured to Misaki. "This is Misaki Ayuzawa."

"Hello." Misaki politely said tucking a stray curl behind her ear.

"Misaki, this is Kuuga Sakurai." Misaki followed James's gaze to a man with light brown eyes. His blond hair which was gelled back and his suit was dark blue. Kuuga winked at Misaki and gently grabbed Misaki's hand, bringing it to his lips.

"Hey Misaki. Nice movie." Kuuga complimented, grasping her hand in his.

"Thanks Kuuga." The raven haired actress smiled, casually removing her hand from his grip. He smiled at her and winked again.

"And this is Takumi Usui." James announced.

Misaki was speechless. She didn't need an introduction to know who Takumi Usui was. The entire nation knew who he was for crying out loud. The blond haired actor was one year older than Misaki but ten times more famous, and a hundred times more experienced -he was one of the best actors around. All the movies and TV series he acted in were big hits. His most famous series 100 Days was a hit all over the world, quickly becoming the most famous TV show ever. Misaki could admit that she had watched a few seasons of the show. Takumi was good… he was very good. Misaki couldn't even begin to imagine all the pressure the famous actor faced on a daily basis.

But, looking at his face, it didn't look like the guy was under pressure. Instead, he looked relaxed. His emerald green eyes twinkled under the dim lighting, disheveled hair only complemented his tuxedo and natural appearance.

In one hand he was carrying a cocktail, no doubt alcoholic and the other was resting in his pocket.

"Good movie, Misaki." His deep, velvety voice rang out.

"Good? That movie was great, if I don't say so myself!" James interrupted, puffing out his chest.

"That's because it was your movie." Takumi smoothly answered, glancing at James and smiling wryly.

"Nice to meet you Misaki." Takumi said, focusing on Misaki. He took his hand out of his pocket and offered it to Misaki. Misaki confidently shook it.

"Nice to meet you too."

Once introductions were over and done, a casual conversation lit up.

A few hours later, Misaki said goodbye to the group, heading out to meet Jax. She practically dragged herself to her limo. Throughout the night, many directors and actors had approached her, striking up a conversation.

"How was it?" Jax questioned as Misaki slammed the door shut.

"Good. Met a lot of people..." Miskai trailed off, promptly falling asleep. Jax smiled fondly at Misaki through the mirror, the girl worked too hard.
