Finally it is the chapter that everyone (well most people) have been awaiting. I now present you with Performance Time part 2. Enjoy!

Performance Time: Part 2

Hoenn Region 11:00 AM

Lilycove City

"Why are we wearing this?"

Ruby looked down as he wore a loose, white sweatshirt with a bomber jacket on top along with very tight, skinny jeans. He wore a snap back on his head to cover the scar he got.

"Because this is the only thing that they have left planned for us to wear," Gold replied as he put on his own bomber jacket. "But this stuff looks kinda cool if you tell me."

"Yeah I think so too," Black added on, "Its so different compared to the stuff that we wear everyday."

X stared at Black. "Dude, that's only because we literally wear the same clothes every day."

"Huh, good point."

Green clapped his hands together. "Okay if everyone is ready, we should start making our way to the stage." All the other dex holders nodded in agreement as they followed Green out into the hallway to perform at the main stage. Ruby's palms started to sweat as he walked out of the dressing room. He started to fidget his arms as he kept looking around Gold gave him a hard pat on the back to calm his nerves.

"Don't sweat it, we're all kinda nervous here along with you."

Ruby gave him a short smile as he tried to relax his whole body. By the time the rest of the dex holders made it backstage, it was almost time for their performance.

"Alright everyone gather up," Red called everyone to form a big circle. "We shouldn't expect much because we weren't really prepared for this but lets just give it our best for today." The other dex holders nodded in agreement and started to get pumped for their performance. Then Ruby raised his hands to garner their attention one last time.

"Alright guys, remember that after the first verse we're kicking left and that Silver and Gold have to carry Emerald into the air. Lack-two, make sure you and Black get the timing right for the flip near the end. Pearl, don't forget to come up to the front with me and Diamond during my solo. I hope that's everything," Ruby sighed as he kept thinking about any other flaws he missed out on. Then Red put his hand on Ruby's shoulder.

"You don't have to worry bud. We're all in this together."

"I know its just that, I'm worried it'll ruin the performance if any one of us messes up."

Gold shook his head. "Hey, even if anything were to go wrong, the show must go on. Y'know what I'm saying?"

Ruby nodded as he took one last deep breath.

Sun looked up on the stage. "Hey I think its our turn now," he remarked as he saw the empty stage with the announcer getting ready to introduce the next group.

"Let's get this party started!" Gold exclaimed. The dex holders followed Red and Green in a single file line to the stage.

The curtain was closed as the dex holders got into their positions. They could hear the announcer speaking into his microphone to introduce the next act.

"And now we have a special stage prepared for all you lovely fans out there. This next act is a small group filled with bright and quirky boys that will be performing the song 'I'm Your Dex Holder.' Please welcome the dex holders from all regions!"

The crowd of people cheered as the spotlight on the announcer went dim and the curtains then opened. The stage was dim and Ruby could see all the cameras and light sticks in the crowd waiting for their performance.

'Here we go,' he thought as he took a deep breath. The lights then turned on to illuminate the stage as the male dex holders were in their positions. Then the music started to play. After the first note, Ruby brought his chin up to fully face the audience. Gold and Lack-Two then spun into their positions to be right in front of Ruby. Emerald, Pearl and Sun, and X, who were in the back row, started the first few dance motions and then paused as the rest of the dex holders picked up the next dance motions. Ruby then made his way towards the front of the stage and started to sing the first lines of the song.

"Yeah I'm Your Dex Holder, and I'll protect you!"

The crowd roared as they saw Ruby flawlessly executing his dance moves and singing. He then moved off to the right as Green made his way to the center and started to sing. The crowd erupted into more screaming as they watched Green perfect his part of the performance.

'This is going a lot better than I expected,' Ruby thought to himself. 'Better keep this up before something goes wrong,' Ruby thought as he went back to his dance moves.

As the song neared the chorus, it was Gold's turn to shine in front of the audience. But before Gold could break off into his short rap, the entire crowd started "booing" and throwing objects onto the stage. Gold reacted by yelling into his mic.

"HEY! WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?!" But the crowd wouldn't stop. Gold became agitated but continued to dance so that the other dex holders wouldn't mess up. The song continued into the second verse where this time, Red got to stand in the front. The crowd again erupted into madness. Then the song went into the dance break instrumental where Silver, Diamond, and Black got to freestyle in the center stage. The other dex holders stood in the back and waited for their cue. Finally the dance break finished and the song was nearing its end. Gold came to the middle one last time to end the song with his rap verse but the crowd started "booing" him again.

"Alright that's it." Gold was fed up with the audience. He then threw his mic at the crowd in hopes of hitting someone in the face. He then yelled at the audience, "GET OUT OF HERE!" As Gold made his way back to the group of dex holders, Lack-Two and Black got ready to perform their flip and end the performance. The rest of the dex holders got into their positions in the back and watched as the Unova dex holder prepared to execute their flip.

'We made it' Ruby sighed in relief. 'Its finally over' he thought as he waited for Black to flip Lack-Two. 'Nothing could go wrong now.' But Ruby thought too soon as he saw what was about to happen. As Black threw Lack-Two in the air, he did a small flip and posed as gravity brought him back down. As he came back down, the other dex holders made their way to the front of the stage where the Unova dex holders were to pose for the ending. But before Black could catch Lack-Two and end their performance, he slipped on an empty pokeball, that was thrown onto the stage when the crowd was "booing" Gold, and fell onto the ground. Lack-Two saw this and panicked as there was no one to catch him. But before he end up hitting the ground, the rest of the dex holders, who were currently running towards the front of the stage, couldn't stop their pace as they saw Lack-Two falling. Diamond ended up helping Lac-Two break his fall but because Lack-Two fell on Diamond, Diamond ended tripping into Pearl who then fell into X which created a domino effect for the all of the other dex holders. All except for Emerald. who saw Red about to fall on him and quickly dodged to the right, only to trip and fall on top of Black who was already on the ground. Ruby, who was currently in the middle of the pig pile, looked up into the audience to see their reactions. The stage was quiet as the music ended and for a few seconds, not a sound was made by the crowd. But then, Blue's laughter from the far back could be heard. Then out of nowhere, the entire audience broke off into laughter. Pictures were taken left and right of the mess that happened on the stage.

'No! My image will be ruined!' Ruby thought as he struggled to free himself from the pig pile. But to no avail, the rest of the dex holders couldn't move. Instead they all just took a deep sigh.

"What a freaking beautiful performance," Gold said in a sarcastic tone. "Just perfect."

Lack-Two and Black broke off into an argument as Diamond and Pearl tried to break them free. Green simply sighed amidst all the commotion.

"We'll get her back someday," Green retorted. "Someday."

Ruby put his hands over his face to hide his embarrassment. 'Just end this horrible nightmare already,' he thought to himself as the security guards came on stage and helped the dex holders off each other then escorting them to the dressing room. Ruby took one look back at the crowd before getting off the stage. "Never again," he said to himself as he made his way back to the dressing room.

And that concludes the second part of Performance Time. Sorry if it felt kind of rushed near the end and thank you everyone for being patient and waiting for this story because it honestly took me a long time to figure out how I could wrap it all up. But now that its over, I could go back to writing stories that were put on hold. So look forward to new fan fictions soon. But maybe not soon because I still don't know when the new stories will be out (oh well). Hope you guys enjoyed and see you guys in the next one!
