Eight years later, Raven and Apple were eating breakfast together at Ever After High with some of their friends.

"Hey Raven, what's with the book?" asked Briar as she noticed an old notebook sitting next to the witch.

"It's one of my old spell books, I found it when I was cleaning my side of the room," said Raven while placing a hand on the book.

"That's the one you used when you moved in, right?" asked Apple.

"That's right, it's actually my favorite one," said Raven as she remembered that night with a smile.

"So, what's this spell you wanted to show us?" asked Queen Snow White as she stood out in the garden with Raven, Apple, and the castle staff.

"Hope you all like it," said Raven before shooting her magic into the sky.

"Whoa," said Apple as the magic burst into sparkles that looked like a flower.

"You created firework based magic?" asked a surprised Queen Snow White.

"You can even use it in doors since the sparks are only magical energy, there's no chance of a fire starting from them," said Raven.

"That's so cool, can you make any other shapes?" asked Apple with a sparkle in her eyes.

"Sure can," said Raven before blasting another shot of magic into the air which turned into a large dragon that Raven was able to control and make fly around.

"Wow," said Apple as she watched with a big smile.

"I wonder," said Raven as the dragon vanished while preparing another magical blast. Once Raven shot the magic into the sky, everyone grew quiet.

"Talk about detail," said Queen Snow White as they looked at Apple's smiling face in firework form.

"Hope it's alright, it's the first time I've tried to create the likeness of someone else," said Raven with a nervous expression. She was a tad pink in the cheeks as well.

"It's beautiful, Raven," said Apple as she hugged her, causing the witch to grow a brighter shade of red.

"Raven, it's time to go to class," said Apple, snapping Raven out of the memory.

"Oh, sorry," said Raven as she stood up.

"Guess I lost track of time while remembering that day," said Raven as she grabbed Apple's hand on their way out.
