What ever had happened this time, Emma wasn't sure if the kid was being dramatic when he texted her to, 'come save him from the Evil Queen', but nonetheless she felt the need to show her commitment to him. She raised her fist to knock on the door, but before contact was made the door opened and she found herself face to face with Regina. Noting the lack of heels and the brunettes current state she was lost for words, only able to scrunch her face in concern.

'He's in his room, I assume you know the way' Regina said as she walked back to her study. Leaving the door and the blondes mouth open.

She sat at her desk finishing her second glass and helping herself to a third. 'I cant fight him anymore' she thought, followed immediately by 'I cant lose him either'. She felt herself falling into bad thoughts when there was a small knock on the study door. Regina chose to ignore it and continued to until the third knock.

'Your already in my sons life and now in my house, what more could you possibly want from me?' she said with anger. Emma opened the door but stood at the threshold as Regina looked away, taking a gulp of her cider.

'Henrys really upset' she stated simply.

'Really? I had no idea' the Mayor threw back coldly, with one of her famous snide looks.

'He wont settle, he doesn't want to be here Regina. Why is he freaking out so much?' Emma said with less patience. When she notes Regina's lack of response she adds softly 'what happened?'

Regina sat, listening to the Blonde, hearing her words, her concern for Henry crystal clear, but also what might be concern for Regina, still feeling exhausted from her argument with Henry, and her consistent need to keep her walls built high, she looked at Emma. Looking directly at her, deep into her Emerald eyes she could see Emma conveying worry, concern and perhaps even love, assuming these were all emotions she held for Henry, Regina simply stood, walked past Emma and up the stairs to Henry's room.

She could hear him sniffing, clearly crying, She was going to knock but thought better of it and walked in clearing her voice as of to announce her presence. Henry refused to look at his mother as she stood just by the door. 'I only lie to protect you, Henry, You may not understand this now, but hopefully, one day you will, and you'll forgive me.' Pausing for a reaction that never came, she continued ' pack an overnight bag, and come down stairs' and with that she left.

Henry packed a few things into a bag, Regina now working as on auto pilot, not sure why she was letting her son go, walked to the main bathroom and packed his toothbrush and wash things. Heading downstairs she could hear Emma asking Henry what was going on, as she reached the bottom she handed the wash things to Emma. Looking at Henry, she address Emma 'look after him, Miss Swan' she said sounding more like a threat than a request, as she turned and headed back into her study, She could feel her walls break and decided that she didn't want Emma to see her like that, she leaned heavily with her back against the door.

It wasn't until she heard the door close behind them that she let fresh tears fall, allowing a sob to leave her as the bug pulled away with her son in the passenger seat. She moved to the desk, but passed on the glass and reached for the bottle taking a long swig, leaning against the wall and slipping to the floor. 'What have I done' being the only constant thought before she drank herself into unconsciousness.
